I always notice that the San Po Kong area has a lot of bakeries. From traditional Hong Kong style ones to Taiwanese to Japanese. There are so many. So when I notice a new one called Nineties Bakery just across the street from Mikiki, I decided to take a look to see what they offered. Not very big but a decent selection of bread that seemed more of the Japanese/Taiwanese style. The labels were in English and Chinese except for a few. Probably difficult to translate? And then in one area was bagel
As I was paying, I noticed a tiny menu. They apparently offer hot pressed bagel sandwiches.
The bagels were nice with a decent pull. The stuffing was generous. The flavourings paired well. I especially liked the coffee one as you can really smell the coffee when I rewarmed it. They are a bit smaller than other places I've bought bagels from.
