百樂小館屬新派潮洲菜、裝潢簡潔高雅,是我喜歡的潮洲菜館。中菜菜式種類繁多、越簡單的菜式越難造得出色,百樂小館完全沒令我失望。首先送來的功夫茶味甘、但喝下去又覺順喉。不過喝完功夫茶容易失眠、大家適可而止啦。滷水拼盤的墨魚唔會太硬、有爽彈感。雖然色澤唔算深、但鵝片、雞蛋、豆付都吸收了滷水汁、好香滷水味。蜜汁雞翼肉嫩皮脆、唔會太甜又有芝蔴香味~讚!冬瓜盅清淡得來又唔會太淡、金華金腿和鮮蝦提昇了鹹鮮味。陳皮話梅炆豬手第一次吃,平時唔食話梅的我都覺得好香、豬手好淋仲有好多膠質。杏汁桂花糕造型精緻、杏仁味唔算濃、但淡淡的桂花香氣,清清的作為甜品不錯。

最好味既一道菜莫過於蒜炒蠔仔! 個菜名我唔記得,但真係好好味,啲蒜好甜,蠔仔夠大隻同夠熟 (我怕生既蠔仔) 又勁新鮮,雖然食晒成大碟其中三四隻有少少殼,但食蠔仔好多時都會有,所以我ok。食落似福建既蚵仔煎 (非台式蚵仔煎)。 好味,好味,好好味! 重要要講三次。

芋頭蒸排骨,好大碟,排骨比較多碎骨,肉質ok,鼓椒味道適中,底層既芋頭極粉極鬆化,好正!

其實食得飽飽地,估唔到個珍珠雞都仲係咁好食。兩隻有少許唔同咁,一隻好多臘腸片,一隻少好多,但同樣入面有細細粒乾珊柱,幾香,我地兩個都好滿意。食珍珠雞最怕stuffing多肥肉好油,而呢個珍珠雞一啲都唔油,而且入面個stuffing唔會好多粉漿,just right!

其實我地本身想叫雪水叉燒包同一碟叉燒,但可能太晏去,無晒。我地食完慢慢坐,無人趕我地,仲不斷幫我地加水,服務好好,環境好好,食物質素好好! 所以我地話,下次應該黎食呢度既晚餐試下。非常滿意既一餐。價錢唔平既,每碟基本上三十幾蚊起,蠔仔好似六十幾,total兩個人食左三百幾蚊,但係CP值好高囉


要再講多次,個燒賣同炒蠔仔,真係超正!

There were chilli oil and pickles provided at the table for us to eat. Pickles were sour enough to open up my appetite. Beside the tea that we ordered, they also served us small cup of Kungfu tea as well.

Steamed sweet corn custard bun - As i have never seen this bun at other restaurants before, we decided to give it a try. It was different from the typical egg yolk custard bun. It was filled with sweet corn and the taste was quite different. The taste was sweet and the corn smell was strong. But i will still preferred the egg yolk custard bun.

Steamed shrimps siu mai with shrimp roe - The size of each piece was much bigger than usual. The meat was fresh and chewy, with real shrimp and meat inside.

Fried noodle with salted meat and cabbage -  It was fried using only meat and cabbage. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and it was flavourful as it was fried using soya sauce. The meat was tender as well.

Deep fried fish with spiced salt - It was deep fried using some of the spices. It was flavourful enough, but was slightly salty. The fish inside was soft and smooth, yet was crispy on the outside.

Pan fried cuttlefish and leek cake - Dipped with the sauce provided, it enhance the flavour of the fish cake. The fish cake was chewy and soft, I guess it was hand made by the chef.

Yam paste with gingko nuts - This dessert is a must order whenever i dined at Chiu Chow restaurants. The texture was thick and creamy, with strong yam taste. It goes well with the gingko nuts which was soft.
