We had dinner at the recently opened cafe in November to celebrate our friend's birthday. However, the food and service we had was awful! First of all, we ordered two sets of their signature dish - the Hanoi style chicken rice, phad thai and the manager recommended the appetizer platter. Well, the chicken rice was so-so, and we found sands in the vegetables (the veggies used below the chicken). 原本同男朋友高高慶慶諗住上山頂餐廳High-tea, 點知去到車站已經好多人, 所以就去o左文華東方High-tea。兩個人叫o左個tea set for one、一個朱古力軟心蛋糕、一杯熱咖啡同一杯熱朱古力。Tea set for one既o野食就普通唔特別, 反而個"薰衣草+ 唔知咩berry"既jam同牛油就好好味好香, 而個朱古力軟心蛋糕既賣相係好靚, 但係就唔多好食, 甜到起曬痰, 而且一o的都唔係軟心, 係實心既, 可能普通cafe仲做得好過佢, 非常失望！熱咖啡聞落都唔錯(因為唔係我飲, 所以唔知), 不過個熱朱古力就好淡無乜味(我情願飲半島o個杯啦, 飲完會有幸福既感覺)。食完之後就真係有o的失望, 雖然佢都可以叫做好味, 但係咁既價錢咁既質素, 我鍾意食半島既High-tea多好多。

Boxing Day預留咗做Family Day，行街行到劫，High Tea孖寶(爸媽)建議去文華嘆Tea。還記得小時候我和妹妹最喜歡食文華嘅chocolate truffle cake，去親都要一人食一件，如果嗰日無serve呢款蛋糕，我倆都會顯得悶悶不樂。今日重來，文華caf擗w 面目全非，由地下搬了上一樓，和外賣cake shop溶為一體。外賣cake shop display咗好多十分考功夫嘅icing cake(見圖)，為caf曌W 添了不少節日氣氛。我們三人share了一個Tea Set for One，Tea Set一啲都唔靚，內涵亦不見突出。底層有兩件scones和三件朱古力蛋糕，scones爸爸話好普通，朱古力蛋糕都算唔錯。面層的finger food亦唔多討好，整體上唔算好食。

went to the cafe the first time after its renovation. it is larger and more stylish than before. just like a normal cafe. the english and old style before disappeared. disappointed.星州抄米$168: many large shrimp. three 串燒, my bf love it much and said it is worthy for money.'cherry clam' linguini with garlic $148: very fresh. just olive oil, garlic and little herb. not other sauce.

尋日去見天星小輪最後一面之前路過呢度，見到賣相十分吸引，所以就入去食tea。mocha比starbucks苦少少，但可以接受。叫左兩個cakes，其實都幾好味o既，咁o既價錢當然expectation都高d：1) american cheese - creamy & hard cheese，ok2) rasberry & apricot mousse- 味幾鮮甜，特別cake選擇都好多，有下次o既話會試朱古力類。都幾舒服同乾淨，但唔太值。個cake如果係take away or o係cake shop度食(坐位唔多，有人要企)係平好多…不過間中high下都無妨最唔得係service。waiter比較串，如果想去就記得唔好咁casual喇，費時俾人暗串啦！

i agree. their rose petal jam and scones are the best...so yummy. i prefer the chef more than clipper's lounge. it's cozier. not to forget they have really good hannan chicken rice too. and their chef salad is like a master spurge for something called a salad. sirloin, king prawns, grilled salmon on a bed of greens. it's so yummy. they have really good tiramisu too: not the gelatine cut cake type. the real ones in a glass. though i prefer the one's in grand hyatt. by the way, excellent service.

A good place to wait people, having a coffee and a wide window view of outside =)As usual, the mandarin cakes are fantastic, having a cup of cappincino, with watery-tasty mandarin cheesecake, what a grateful afternoon.

這裏是嘆high tea 的好地方, 鬆餅同有玫瑰味果醬真係一絕. Cheese Cake 和糕餅亦係城中最高水準之一.昨晚演出前在此點了一客芝士莧菜麵卷, 單是餐前麵包已經係享受. 主菜用料當然一級水準, 各種味道在口中融和併發, 已經不知人間何世, 五星級絕對當之無愧.以前讀書時同幾個死黨同學考完試會在此食一個Rock'n Roll, 朱古力同曲奇包住雪糕炸, 回味無窮! 雖然十多年前餐牌上已再無供應, 老同學仍然會時不時提起, 仍然沉醉!

It is disapointing that the menu has been completely changed (wonton noodles and honan chicken rice etc SE Asia items are still here). there are not many attractive items. Appentizer 鴨肉批$98: the duck meat is 鮮嫩, the pie is crispy. there are some vegetable on the top and baked together. yummy. o係環境幽靜o既酒店咖啡室, 品嚐配上極品級o既玫瑰醬o既鬆軟英式茶餅, 同友人寫意地度過一個下午. 如果每一日都可以咁, 別無他求啦!

來此慶祝生日，非常開心，因為文華是我的favourite 。點了周打海鮮雜菜湯- 很香濃，外面吃不到咁有質素的周打湯了。芝麻蝦春卷- 外脆內香，啖啖蝦肉，好味海鮮層層叠 - 帶子同蝦都非常鮮甜，茄子同意大利青瓜很入味主菜燒羊膝- 很香很有肉味，汁很香濃，配甜薯很好味。焗鱸魚- 魚肉很滑，味道清新不油膩。紅酒燴牛柳- 依然很淋很好味。甜品雜莓千層脆- 配Kirsh 酒吉士忌廉，吉士忌廉一向係文華的招牌，所以這個甜品實冇錯，但略嫌太大個有點漏。暖香橙朱古力蛋糕- 太甜太漏，唔好食。焗香蕉酥配霖酒雪糕- 很香很好味，尤其是霖酒雪糕極有酒味，是必試之選！蜜棗撻- 撻內餡料豐富，曲奇餅底脆，很好味，值得一試。送的紅酒亦很不錯。最後送來的黑森林蛋糕亦十分駑喜，是第一次吃這裡的黑森林，忌廉香滑，蛋糕鬆軟，最好味是那浸了酒的車厘子，非常香醇，又太甜，這個生日真的過得愉快兼滿足呢！

there is no lunch set. no main course as dinner (e.g. cod, steak....). only salad, sandwich, spaghetti, dessert and some SE Asia food like wonton noodles, thail noodles. I sure will not order $150 or above sandwich or wonton noodles. a little disapointing because there is not many choices. we two ppl had a Chicken Risotto ($150) and Seafood Pasta ($185). the Chicken is ok (in Western way, sure it is not comparable with Chinese chicken). but the risotta is too 淋, quite disappointing. the spagehtt

High Tea文化源於英國，主要是紳士們下午時慢慢食，當然不可以急急進食~ 所以，難得等到我和男友整個下午都有空，終於一齊去享受期待已久的文華high tea~ 　一去到，services是預期中的好；環境不是重點，都算是舒適~ 我們一早有了心水，所以很快就選定High Tea for 2~ 飲品方面，BF點了English Breakfast Tea，咖啡癮起的我則要了latte~ 男友的EB tea用一套銀器serve，美則美矣，要沖就有少少麻煩~ 還是我的latte簡單美味~ 　三層高的主角終於來了。心急的我馬上拿了一件cheese sandwich試，超級美味~ 再試scone, cheesecake, salmon sandwich, 酥點等等，同樣觸動味蕾~ 基本除了一件煙肉洋蔥tart及白色scone稱不上好吃（也不難吃），真的每一件都充滿驚喜，令人齒頰留香... 頂層的rose jam及Mandarin chocolates更是令人印象深刻~ 直到全部點心清光，我們仍然在回味~ 文華與上次Haagen Dazs的經歷相比，真的是差天同地(雖然我是Haagen Dazs

同個老闆級傾計, 佢提議文華. 我見隔離檯的High-tea set, 士多啤梨果撻好似好美味! 決定要一份.可惜來到之後, 味道係...全部唔得. Grand Hyatt d甜品我已經覺得唔掂, 係5分(10分滿分), 呢度更只有2分, madeleine超甜, 食完不停飲茶都平衡唔到果d heavy sugar. 三文治就普通, 相比就Grand Hyatt d鹹點好味好多. 或者因為是tea set就求其d啦.服務一貫的好, 期待未來的新文華都一樣有如此待客像朋友的服務態度.

現在Cafe 出了Set Dinner，$328 包頭盤、主菜及甜品，在餐牌中任擇，非常抵食，因為主菜單叫都要$200 左右。今晚就點了先來麵包籃，有不同款式的麵包，很有特色，伴Olive 同埋一碟仔白色的醬，很好味。頭盤意大利茄子海鮮層層叠 - 海鮮非常新鮮，雖是頭盤，仍落足料，一點也不馬虎。主菜紅酒燴牛柳- 個汁好香，牛柳好淋好好味，叫Medium 真是做得到，不會煮得過熟。伴着的薯蓉朋友說非常好味。另叫菠菜雞肉芝士意大利飯- 飯過淋，只屬一般。甜品點了Date Tart 伴冧酒雪糕- 一流！這兒的份量都不少，最好同人Share 。今餐好滿足呢！
