Totally bad service!!!!!

We had dinner at the recently opened cafe in November to celebrate our friend's birthday. However, the food and service we had was awful! First of all, we ordered two sets of their signature dish - the Hanoi style chicken rice, phad thai and the manager recommended the appetizer platter. Well, the chicken rice was so-so, and we found sands in the vegetables (the veggies used below the chicken). We had dinner at the recently opened cafe in November to celebrate our friend's birthday. However, the food and service we had was awful! First of all, we ordered two sets of their signature dish - the Hanoi style chicken rice, phad thai and the manager recommended the appetizer platter. Well, the chicken rice was so-so, and we found sands in the vegetables (the veggies used below the chicken). So, we reported to the manager and he took away the two plates of chicken without asking if we want the piece of chicken on the plate. Then, 5 min later, he came back and told us both him and the chef tried the vegetables and found no sand in it. We felt very insulted, as if we made this up to get freebies. I mean, nowadays, after Andy Lau's commercial, how can the service at a 5-star hotel restaurant be so bad!??!?? Unacceptable! We then asked if we would get any 'reimbursement' and we ended up getting only two plates of desserts, not even the value of our two chicken sets order. But we were like, whatever... we won't come back for sure!
