Iberico pork and foie gras burger, avocado, cucumber pickles $158- Yummy combo, the pork was still pink in the center but was not undercooked, the foie gras gave more flavor to it and the pickle balanced out the oil the meat and the foie gras originally has. The texture of the meat was tender and juicy, a must order if you ever decide to pay for a visit. Last but not least, the avocado dipping sauce was smooth and creamy, it was a perfect complement to the burgers. NOMSSSS

Goats cheese ice cream, honeycomb & raspberry $78-The goats cheese ice cream tasted quite interesting, it did not taste smelly at all but rather milky in flavorful. The honeycomb was there to give the dish more sweetness as goat’s cheese isn’t sweet at all. Overall I liked this dish; I liked the originality of it. (Don’t forget I’m a cheese lover!)

Coconut sorbet, mango & lime $68-The coconut sorbet tasted fresh and light, the mango and lime flavor went well together. Nice plating.

Overall score I’d give this restaurant would be a 4/5, other than the weird tasting sangria they served us (it might’ve been too strong for me), the foods were spectacular~ Worth another visit and hope that they’ve changed their menu again so I can try out new things!

我們用餐時間只用了45分鐘,可說十分有效率,而三個人埋單一千多元,價錢尚算合理。聽聞梁詠琪是這所餐廳的常客,我個人也覺得這裡值得再來光顧。

Arrived at 7.00 on a Saturday night after work, ordered a beer and waited for some friends, there was meant to be 8 of us but ended up being only 4, when my friend got there she waited a little and put our names down, I was almost finished my beer by now and it was around 7.30, our friends were meeting us at 8 so we did as advised and went down to the bar affiliated with the resturant down the road! 22 ships gave us a call probably just before 8 and we wandered down the road and were seated withing 10 minutes.. after trolling through the menu for non fish items (I dont do seafood) we decided on a bevy of foods. 

Plate of Ham - this was so good! Rich and salty and oh so meaty went perfectly with our beers! It wasnt hard or chewy but almost melted in your mouth and was a perfect way to start

Mini Burgers - The burger sliders were really tasty, the bread was more like the sweet buns found in HK and was really smooth when the creamy avocado and tart pickles were combined! I loved it! My brother found it less enjoyable but good regardless

Bone Marrow Toasts - These were the highlight for me! Smooth creamy marrow on cruchy toast with a type of crumb! The contrast in textures made this heaven! Definately try it!!

Beans - We deided that with all the meat we should probably get some veggies so we got the beans, a mix of three types of beans; broad, baby peas and I'm not sure of the third one but they really were super! I don't normally like broad beans but these I couldn't get enough of!

Tuffle Toasties - These were adorable, tiny but so good! Such subtle gentle flavours they could easily have been overpowered and seen as bland but they were gentle and perfectly toasted with hints of everything they needed! Reccomend!

I think we got some other things but my memory is fading! Lucky last was dessert! Oh my sweet God in heaven dessert!!

Toadstool icecream/mousse thing - This was the most adorable and tastiest thing I have ever eaten! It was creamy but at the same time such a perfect temperature, soft enough to be light but at the same time I felt like there was such substance to it!

Goats cheese icecream - Not too tart, not too sweet! This had a beautiful balance! So glad we got it!!

Overall I would say that 22 ships is pricey but the food reflects that, if you want a big meal dont go here, but if you want food that tastes incredible definately try it! It's worth it, maybe it's my expat nature but when I compared the 250/pax we payed to Australian prices I am amazed by the caliber of food I got! Try it! You won't regret it!!

Let me tell you about the wait. We showed up at 7:40pm on a Saturday. Terrible time to show up, I know BUT, in my defense, I regularly eat around 8:30. So a wait of an hour or an hour and a half is fine by me. At the door they have the nicest and most disingenuous man working. He told us that we had a 45 minute to an hour wait, and suggested we wait at their wine bar, behind Ham & Sherry, their sister restaurant down the street.
Good that we did not. Instead, we grabbed some pints at the Pawn and returned at 8:40, an hour after we put our names on the list. How long is the wait? Another 45 minutes to an hour we're told. My wife is set on going, and we have no back-up plan, so we wait. We grab some beers at the 7-11 and wait in the sitting-out area not far from 22 Ships. At 9:35, a full five minutes from a two hour wait, we get a call: your table is ready.
It takes us 2 minutes to get to the restaurant. It turns out, our table is not ready. There's no paricular table that's ours, but one table is "having dessert" and should be done any time now, we're told.

As a sop, we are given a free (!) tray of Iberico ham. Free is always nice, but remember that we had to eat this standing up, holding our paid (!) drinks, because the table they called and told us they had was non-existent. If they called us and told us "it's 30 more minutes, but you get free meat" I'd have been cool with that, and *maybe* I'd have taken the deal. But don't call me and tell me it's 0 more minutes for a table and then replace my table with a hand-held pile of meat I have to eat on the street. There were ravenous vultures-- er, humans-- who kept asking us if the meat was for everyone waiting in front of the restaurant. No! we got it because we waited two hours and were lied to! Stay away before I bite your hands off!

Sorry, flashback. It was 30 more minutes before we'd be seated. That's 30 minutes AFTER we were told a table was ALREADY READY for us (apologies for cap-shouting). And it wasn't just 30 minutes of standing and waiting with an empty tray of meat. At one point, we were directed to a table, and then moved out of it when they realized they could turn it and an adjoining section into a 8-person table for another group. So we were once again snatched from the jaws of sitting, now to wait awkwardly *inside* the restaurant as the promised us that--yes, any moment now-- we would in fact have the table that 30 minutes ago they told us we did in fact have.

But that story, I'm sure, doesn't interest you. Maybe you'll be seated right away. How was the food, you ask? Well, OK, at best. The first thing we got was a grilled cheese sandwich with mushrooms. Yes, the mushrooms were truffles and the cheese was manchego and the eggs on top were from quails. But were you to make it at home with normal mushrooms and cheese and eggs, it'd be roughly the same. My beer came a while after I ordered it. The servers are at least attentive enough to notice such things: my guy saw that my beer wasn't there and then tracked it down. Service like that is rare in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the beer came in this awesome metal mug. Short story about Estrella: I was once in a bar in Granada (in Andalusia, the "home" of Tapas) and tried to order an Estrella-- the bartender looked at me like I was insane, A Coruna being about as far away from Granada as possible. I settled with an Alhombra, which is made by San Miguel fyi.

The second dish to arrive was the pimientos de padron, my favorite tapa. There were a number of things that made this dish sub-par. First, these are typically fried and here they are baked or broiled or whatever. There was significantly less char/ blackening on the peppers than any time I'd had them before-- in Spain or even in HK. Second, they were coated in lots of garlic. Garlic, I like, but in a recipe as simple as peppers, oil, salt, it's clear how it might be overwhelming and/or distracting. These were good in the absolute sense, but poor considering what could have been done with them. OK, C.

Again, I didn't dislike the scallop ceviche. I enjoyed the cucumbers and apples that came with it (the cucumbers had some Japanese name that I forget). But the scallops were a little "tough" (chewy?) and I'd had a much better scallop ceviche at Fofo by El Willy (as stupid as that name is). This was good, but not great, B-.

The pork belly burgers tasted mostly like barbequed pulled pork, and were of a similar texture. The bun was way too buttery, almost like cornbread in the US. I wasn't particularly impressed with the sweet pickles and avocado puree they came with-- overly sweet on the first hand and overly sour on the second. I can think of at least four places in HK that do a better pulled pork sandwich, and that in itself is impressive. C-

I can't rate desserts, being a savory-only individual since I was about 12. My wife thought the goat cheese ice cream was the best thing in the meal, so I'll give it an A, just above the grilled cheese sandwiches. It tasted like goat cheese, but had the temperature and texture of ice-cream: novel and enjoyable for those who like such things.

When I started this review, I intended to argue that 22 Ships took ordinary dishes and produced mediocre versions with high-class ingredients (like truffles). While that's to some extent true, looking back I think I was wrong. Most of the dishes are relatively straightforward and they're mediocre all the same. I wouldn't be against eating at this place, but not for a 2 and a half hour wait, or even for a 30 minute one. No one was at Iberico and Co. last time I was there, and they have equally good or better food. I guess the fact that there's no line keeps the HK trendsetters out.

I will say that 22 Ships is comparably affordable. (Of course, I got a free plate of meat and a free dessert, so there you go.) If you want tapas in HK, you will pay the same or more. But I'd suggest any place with reservations. Literally any of them. Some places with much better tapas like Tapeo frequently can seat you with no reservations. Why go here and be lied to and get sub-par food? I know why: it's popular. But please, get over it. It's for your own good.

再來Squid Paella ↓ , 從外表以為上錯了,因完全看不見一丁點墨汁,但原來內有乾坤,飯底存了豐富的墨魚汁,飯汁香濃不會過乾或過濕,飯身少硬,與法式 Risotto 飯的硬度有點相似 ,因本人喜歡較硬身的飯,所以覺得味道一流,是整餐中最好吃的一道菜色。

最後我們點了兩道甜品,先講Goats Cheese ice-cream ↓。我本身很愛吃羊,以為自己什麼羶味也不怕,可是這個雪糕証明我錯了,羶到不得了,不過旁邊的honeycomb 及 raspberry 很好食。可能羊奶雪糕味道太濃,連平時酸到不行的raspberry也突變得易入口及清甜。不怕羶的朋友絕對可試試。

整體,菜式特別,味道新鮮,無論賣相及味道也很有創意,表現出米芝蓮星級廚師的風采,加上價錢親民,難怪星期一晚上都要排成個鐘。
題外話/補充資料: 餐廳一些特色菜寫了在牆上,另外,要早啲去排隊,因人氣美食Braised pork belly好多人Order,我地到達時已經賣晒~

朋友們不只一次地問過我, 說我在香港, 會不會特別想念台灣的美食想念是一定會的, 我愛台灣的小吃. 但在香港, 除了有香港道地的小吃美食外異國料理種類比台灣的多很多, 做法也較正宗. 所以台灣朋友如果到香港, 逗留時間是長一點的我也會帶他們吃一下台灣沒有或比較少的異國料理. 例如說, 西班牙的tapas, 台灣沒有很流行吃22 Ships賣的不是很傳統很正宗的tapas, 但看照片目測應該也不錯吧, 剛開的時候身邊的朋友都說這裡好吃既然朋友請我吃生日飯, 就選了這裡. 要來這邊吃最好就在他們一開的時候到達, 不然等位要等上好一段時間先點了兩杯sangria, 一杯是紅酒另一杯是白酒我比較喜歡白酒的, 因為他們的sangria加入水果的成份不多, 紅酒喝起來有一點點澀反而白酒比較清爽, 要小心他們的杯子設計, 蠻容易打翻的jamon, manchego, truffle toastie, quail eggs點這款完全是因為看到黑松露跟鵪鶉蛋的組合. 再之後才看到還有西班牙火腿跟manchego芝士小小一份, 但味道非常多層次, 先吃到的不是我以為的黑松露, 而是很濃郁的芝士香完來這款芝

先點了兩杯sangria, 一杯是紅酒另一杯是白酒
我比較喜歡白酒的, 因為他們的sangria加入水果的成份不多, 紅酒喝起來有一點點澀
反而白酒比較清爽, 要小心他們的杯子設計, 蠻容易打翻的

點這款完全是因為看到黑松露跟鵪鶉蛋的組合. 再之後才看到還有西班牙火腿跟manchego芝士
小小一份, 但味道非常多層次, 先吃到的不是我以為的黑松露, 而是很濃郁的芝士香
完來這款芝士的發酵時間比其他的芝士長, 芝士帶點辣, 而且有很濃的奶香跟鹹香
之後的松露味才慢慢的帶出來, 裡面的松露味反而沒有那麼突出, 火腿跟芝士的鹹味較為突出
鵪鶉蛋的大小比較配這小吐司的size, 蛋香跟火腿, 芝士跟松露在一起味道包準不會錯
小小的一份吐司, 卻能吃出這麼精彩的味道與層次, 蠻讚的說

也是松露跟蛋的組合. 第一次到22 ships, 不知為何有點怕點錯東西, 就選些比較安全的菜式好了
蛋是一整顆的下去炸, 再配上松露醬, 底下的是芹根, 是西芹的一種
吃起來蠻像沙葛的, 也沒有西芹獨特的味道, 質感清爽, 混了美乃滋
整道吃起來更像沙拉多一點. 配上蛋黃的味道比光吃芹根美味多了
一切開蛋黃, 蛋黃漿徐徐沁下, 這跟芹根拌勻一起吃很剛好, 蛋外面炸得很酥
裡面蛋黃滑順非常, 濃稠的質感跟爽脆的芹根有蠻強烈的對比
配上黑松露, 有畫龍點睛的作用, 好吃

iberico pork and foie gras burger, avocado and kimchi
這算是我們的主菜吧, 漢堡, 但就是迷你版的漢堡
用的是西班牙豬肉, 肉味要比平常吃的豬肉濃一點, 漢堡肉做得蠻厚的
所以吃起來不會覺得很小很不夠. 鵝肝的味道不算太突出, 仍是豬肉的味道作主導
喜歡他中間還夾了酸瓜, 風味大增呢. 旁邊的牛油果醬跟泡菜跟漢堡一起吃
牛油果醬很對我的味, 喜歡吃牛油果一定會喜歡他們的牛油果醬呢. 反而嫌泡菜發酵味較重, 不知道是不是擺放了比較久

點了兩款甜點. 看到羊奶芝士頓時雙眼發光, 立刻就點了這個
還是第一次吃羊奶芝士雪糕, 但就沒有我想像中芝士味的濃烈, 比較淡
羊奶的味道不是很鮮明, 但仍然很美味. 蜜糖脆脆配上雪糕有加分喔
不過略嫌他們的脆脆有點太碎. 覆盆子在這裡的作用是中和一下甜度, 不過於我來講就不需要了

"PBJ" peanut butter ice cream, PX- infused grapes, caramelized bananas
這也是一款我很想試的甜點. 花生醬加果醬除了想起香港的占醬多, 也想起了美國的PBJ
名字上也寫著PBJ, 應該是從美國的peanut butter and jelly找到靈感的吧
雪糕是花生醬口味的, 好好吃喔! 味道很濃郁, 但又沒有直接吃花生醬的膩
果醬做成果凍狀的, 配著花生醬味雪糕感覺蠻搭的
旁邊的葡萄跟焦糖香蕉也是非常美味, 尤其是焦糖香蕉, 面層很焦脆呢, 我自己一個人也可以吃掉一份
謝謝朋友請客, 到這裡其實都是懷著吃巧不吃飽的心情來的, 不過吃下來也蠻飽的
看到有不少新菜式, 有機會的話還想要試試他們的烤豬呢

I was wandering through Wan Chai around 11:45 and feeling a bit peckish, so I thought I'd pop over to 22 Ships and wait for them to open. The meal I had was one for the books. I started with the Iberico and Moreilla Duck Egg. I thought the dish to be very good, but would have preferred the egg to be cooked a little less (I like a runny yolk). Next was the dish I still dream about, the Baked Bone Marrow with Gentleman's Relish and Onion Jam. The marrow is removed from the bone, combined with beef cheek and a bit of snails. Then the mixture is put back in the bone and baked. It is served with toasted bread and two condiments that work extremely well together - Gentleman's relish and sweet onion jam. This dish is perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. Finally (I didn't want lunch to stop), I had the Texturas de Chocolate, which are different flavors and textures of chocolate. All in all, a perfect meal.

Their paella was a decent enough portion for two, full of chewy squid and crispy pieces of chorizo. When you dig deeper, you will find squid ink sauce on the bottom, slowly turning the paella into a murky colour. This wasn't bad, but the flavour became monotonous after a while. At least the rice was cooked through.

I liked the presentation of the beef tartare, all portioned up for ease of spooning up. Egg yolk puree was interesting, a little thick, but tasty and the chunks of raw beef were nicely springy. I recommend trying this.

The bone marrow was one of my favourite dishes last time, so I wanted a repeat performance. It was tasty, but not as good as when I had it the first time =.= Maybe because it arrived a little cold this time.

The chicken and sweetcorn doesn't sound interesting on the menu, but trust me it was pretty amazing. Really tender chicken with the most addictive fried kernels of corn. Next time, I am having this all to myself

To end on something sweet~

The goats cheese ice-cream sounded interesting, and it was pretty sharp in flavour. The honey comb pieces were slightly frozen in nitrogen so they were extra crunchy, but the hard museli crumble pieces had a refrigerator taste to it. A bit of a miss.

I didn't like the basil ice-cream dessert. The whole dish was just a little too strange on the tastebuds. Sweet, herby ice-cream, with citrus foam, strawberries and what I think were blobs of cream cheese. Not so good.

It was a pity that the truffle toasties were sold out, but that means another visit is on the agenda~ and hopefully the menu would have some new items too. The savoury courses are really good, but I would skip dessert.

22 Ships has been much raved about in Hong Kong (with its notorious line-ups up to several hours) showcasing the brewing popularity and fascination of the Spanish cuisine among Hong Kong "eaters".  Although the namesake of the restaurant is its address already, 22 Ship Street in Wanchai, 22 Ships is still hard to find due to the small size of the restaurant.  It is comprised of the main open bar taking up the center stage, surrounded by bar tables, and several small tables with a tiny al fresco dining area which is profoundly reminiscent of the pubs in New York.  Despite all the talk about how difficult it is to get a seat at 22 Ships (as it only allows walk-ins), me and my friend Chow Chow decided to go for an early dinner when she had to go into work that weekend.

We arrived a little before 6 p.m. on a Saturday and we were surprised to see that there was no line-up.  The decoration was hip and stylish, and their daily specials were written on the main blackboard on the wall. The service was extremely attentive and friendly (no service fee is charged!). However, the restaurant was so small and intimate, and we found the seats to be very discomforting and cramped.  The price was certainly not casual at all as dinner was priced at around $300 - $400 per person.

(1) The Squid & Salmon Paella ($148) was a daily special available that evening and it proved to be an admirable dish.  The salmon was attractively cooked, and the pieces of smoked ham provided element of saltiness and crunch to the texture.  The paella rice slowly turned into black colour because of the squid ink which offered a unique flavour.  Albeit a bit small, the paella rice was moist and succulent and C liked it very much. However, Chow Chow, a tapas lover, pointed out that paella rice was expected to be dry and not too wet, and she considered this to be more like risotto.

(2) We then ordered the Iberico Pork and Foie Gras Burger ($158) which was served with avocado, cucumber and pickles. These mini-burgers or sliders were just sheer bliss on a plate! The Iberico pork and foie gras tasted pristine, fresh and juicy beyond our imaginations. The kitchen has definitely nailed its signature burgers, but might need to work on the size/portion though, as we certainly could do more for this price!

(3) The Scallop Ceviche ($118) was another accomplished dish served with apple and walnut.  The scallop was smooth and sensuous with pieces of apples and walnut sprinkled on top of the dish.  The result was a light and transcending experience to our tastebuds!  But the dish could use some sauce or dressing to elevate the flavour further as it was a bit lacking to its fullest realization.

Our dinner at 22 Ships ended on a complaint you'll likely hear about-- that it was just too crowded, noisy and uncomfortable.  It's up to you whether it's forgivable to pay an expensive price and to sit uncomfortably for dishes from one of the most hyped Spanish restaurants in town (the place was fully packed by 7 p.m. with people lining up outside).  The food and service, however fascinating they were, became just a lukewarm Spanish dinner for us and there are many places in Hong Kong with better seating and cheaper food than this.

I have finally boarded the ship (pun intended) and tried the oft talked about 22 ships~ in case you are wondering the name of the restaurant is actually its address. A cute touch.The whole outfit is somewhat casual, with bar seats surrounding the whole of the open kitchen and if you like they have a few seats facing out onto the street where you can people watch. The whole outfit is somewhat casual, with bar seats surrounding the whole of the open kitchen and if you like they have a few seats facing out onto the street where you can people watch. If you are sitting at the bar be assured you will have the best seats in the house for watching the chefs prepare your food which may not be the best if you are hungry, but it is a tight space so be prepared to rub shoulders with your neighbours.

Starting with something light. The beetroot salad was as pretty as a picture, a litte patch of Spring in the onset of Winter. Pairing creamy blobs of goats cheese and salt baked beetroot was a winning combination, but the pear jelly was a tasteless bystander.

Roasted bone marrow from the daily specials. Oily, fatty goodness come to me~ Their version is a little different, meat mixed in with the marrow making for less of an oily mouthful. Smeared on the perfectly toasted bread spread with sweet mustard and a little of the caramelised onions, it was pretty damn good!

People have waxed lyrical about these mini sliders filled with Iberian pork and foie gras, but... I wasn't so impressed. I mean the brioche was soft, and the meatball patty was tender enough with the familiar gaminess from foie gras, however it just wasn't special. I actually liked the side of creamy avocado and pickled cucumbers more...

So did I like it? It's quite good, although I only had a limited amount of dishes from the menu, meaning I need to make a return visit. I was lucky that I didn't need to wait for a seat (honestly what is with waiting and HK restaurants) since they have a no reservations policy, but arriving at 2pm for a late lunch was certainly the right choice. 22 ships don't include service charge in the bill, so tip accordingly, there is creativity and the food is really not bad ;)

Under his team , their tapas are just magnificent , surly cheer u up ! Their menu is simple , set in few categories . The seafood first come to Scallop ceviche . Come up with apple and walnut .The crunchy green apple pieces just go perfectly with the scallop . Scallops are fill up with sea salt sense with proper amount sauce , with the apple pieces that give a hint of sourness , urge the taste to be more distinctive.

Another seafood Tapas . The present is very graceful ,just  like a colorful small flower garden . Octopus were in thin slice , fesh enough with chewy texture . Tastes surprisingly refreshing with the mango sauce and thin slice radish . It upgrades the layer to be more fruitful .

 Another seafood Tapas again ! Haha , I admit that I am a seafood lover . This one is the best in the seafood categerioes . Tuna were cut in moderate thickness , perfectly marinated with black pepper and white sesame . The tomatoes and avocado paste went well with the tuna , create a very harmonious match . It is just extremely delicious with the simple flavorings.

 For meat , we take the baked bone marrow . No idea how the chef create this dish ! This is unexpectedly tasty ! The bone marrow was very chewy , breadcrumbs were spread on top to urge the texture and tastes both more flavorful ! Not to be too exaggerated , but it is really impeccable when it goes with the crispy toast and butter . Relish and savory delicacy !

 This is another meat snackes . A tiny burger in one bite . Come up with two flavors , served withh cucumber pickles and avocado . Overall the texture is still very arousing , very juicy meaty content . The avocado cream and cucumber pickes are both nice touch to complement the burger . However , i can't really tastes the foie gras content .

Here comes the vegetables , roasted baby gem lettuce with anchovy , crispy ham and parmesan mayo . The crispy ham and sauce add a hint to the ordinary dish , makes it unique and sightly salty with natural green base . The lettuce is crunchy and fairly good . I appreicate how they present even it's only a portion of lettuce .

Dessert time ! Don't ask me why I still got the room for dessert . I can 't give u a reply . But what I could say is , if I didn't order the dessert , I will surely regret . Both look so delicate and decent ! Just like a masterpiece ! Both tastes really good . Lime sobert with creamy peanut butter taste and sharp compressed celery , a fushion mixture  ! Texture de Chocolate is very comprehensive and sophisticated , dense and rich chocolate flavors in a mushroom shape presentation . Impressive  . 

Overall , their service is very caring , waitress are very friendly .  22 ships create buzzy ambience , a balance of vintage touches and modern charm . Although it's not spacious ans pretty small dining place , it permeated the neighborhood attitude . Everything is perfect expect one thing - their portion . The portion is really too small , more like kiddy dishes . For gals tummy , the portion is even not enough to fill us up . For guys , certainly no !   

Anyway , I still very enjoy such interactive dining experience . No booking ! No service charge ! So , that means u should go as early as you can , coz it's always that crowded !

Hamachi sashimi with watermelon and rice - tasty, but tiny.
Mini burgers - the stand-out dish.
Squid Paella - bland, though better with a healthy dose of Tabasco

and 3 non-alcoholic drinks and 1 red sangria.

Flavor was unbalanced across all dishes, leaving something lacking.

OK food, fairly good - though snooty - service, good location and vibes (albeit Timbaland on repeat for 2 hours is a bit much on the music).

Would not look forward to eating here again.
Too expensive and you have to rack up dish after dish to feel somewhat satisfied with the amount of food you've had.

We recently came back from Melbourne to visit family and friends and chose 22 ships because it looked like a great place with great food. We arrived at 7.30 and was told that a table of 4 would be a 30-45 min wait. We were fine because the place was so busy, it must be worth the wait! we waited 75 minutes and when we finally got a table, it was a small bar table with all four seats facing a wall. how on earth were we meant to have a "social" experience facing the wall!? to be honest, we were too hungry to wait anymore. we quickly ordered and continued our attempt to catch up despite the awkward seating arrangement. as we were seated in a pathway, the waiters made us feel like we were in the way rather than cosy. One of the waiters, distributed our cutlery and placed the cutlery tin in the middle of our row. we moved it to the side and the waiter insisted to move it back to the middle twice. I had to tell him " can u not put it there!!! We can't talk!" 

Food came out quickly and it was pleasant but not amazing. Portions are quite small. I think my favourite was the burger. No one asked us if we were ok with our meals but they did ask if we wanted desserts or more when everything had arrived. We left within half an hour of getting a table and went to a bar around the corner and had more food and drinks.

I work in hotels and I know that service just as important as the food, the atmosphere, the beverage choices. Service can make or break the experience and at 22 ships I was disappointed. The service we received made us feel uncomfortable. It failed to anticipate our needs and no one seemed interested that we were unhappy anyways. There may be no service charge but does that mean no service at all?

Despite no service charges and the 'good' food hype,  I would say this is one of the most dissappointing small joints visited.  They definitely made up the no service charges with their pricing strategy.Given a seat at the bench area and the downside..metal plated stolls..thumbs down on the seatingsWe ordered 3 dishes and the food is so so...very small portion and a total rip off! a small size of sea bass cost 138, 2 tiny iberico pork burger (more like kiddy meal) cost 158, and the lamb around t

We ordered 3 dishes and the food is so so...very small portion and a total rip off! a small size of sea bass cost 138, 2 tiny iberico pork burger (more like kiddy meal) cost 158, and the lamb around the same price as well..with this kind of price ladies and gentlemen, you get a decent main meal...

Sangria drink is one of the worse i had tasted before...formmy and sour.

best part was...when asking for spanish/tapas bread to complement with the lambs and the sea bass...the waitress was speechless and has no clue what we were asking! so much for a spanish restaurant.

dissappointing and if you dont mind to get ripped off and average joe's food..please go ahead
