Ramen stall can be easily found in Hong Kong, but the really nice ones are only a handful. Whenever i walked past Ramen Bari-Uma, there are always a long line of queue forming outside. Since i have some spare time today and wanting to try if it was really worth the wait, I decided to join in the fun today. Ramen Bari-Uma has several branches in Hong Kong, thus i went to their Tsim Sha Tsui outlet. It was located at Kimberly Road, just 5 minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.Besides selling their s
Besides selling their signature ramen, they offered gyoza, karaage, hotpot rice, desserts and drinks etc.
Melon cider - It was from Japan, and was refreshing and gassy. It was sweet and has strong melon taste.
Spicy ramen - As i could take spicy food, i chose their spicy ramen version. The soup texture was thick and red in colour. The soup was flavourful and spicy, which suited me nicely. Ramen was cooked till chewy and smooth, pork was tender and juicy and lava egg was soft and smooth too.
Spicy karaage - I was asking for trouble when i ordered this. This was even spicier than the ramen, but i loved it. Chicken was fried till juicy and smooth, skin was fried and the sauce on the skin helped to enhance the taste of the chicken cubes.
Matcha ice cream - I decided to order an ice cream to soften the impact caused by the spiciness. Matcha taste was strong and the texture was hard and creamy. Red bean was sweet and complimented nicely with the ice cream.
