Every time when I take the tram in Sheung Wan, I am attracted by the French pastry shop called Tartes & Pop. Lemon Gianduja Tarte ($45)
The first taste of this tart is so refreshing. Lemon flesh is put on the top of the lemon filling, and the tart at the bottom is crispy as well. What I like the most is the Gianduja at the top, which is sweet chocolate with a little taste of hazelnut. It creates a great balance between sour and sweet.

Coffee Creme Brulee Tarte ($45)
Before I cut it into half, it looks like a normal Creme Brulee.

Once I cut it into half, I can see the flowing coffee syrup. The staff tells me that the creme is cooked with real coffee beans, so the cream brulee is filled with strong coffee flavour. The sponge cake in the middle also enhance the texture of this tart.

Last but not the least, this is the best seller of the shop.

The combination of matcha and sesame is impressive. The matcha square at the top is made by matcha powder from Kyoto, so the matcha flavour is strong. The sesame filling is match with the matcha square, and it creates a special aftertaste.

In front of the Western Market at Sheung Wan, 1 min by walk of the tram station, you can find amazing place where all the dessert lovers will be satisfied! I tried the very new one Honey Pecan tarte. It is a base of a real tart with pecan mousse and a honey mousse and on the top, a real pop corn and some pecan! I also tried the amazing coconut mango one! This one is a mix perfect between soft and crunchy. It is a mousse of coconut on a crumble base with a mango sauce and touch of real coconut! I

I tried the very new one Honey Pecan tarte. It is a base of a real tart with pecan mousse and a honey mousse and on the top, a real pop corn and some pecan!

I also tried the amazing coconut mango one! This one is a mix perfect between soft and crunchy.
It is a mousse of coconut on a crumble base with a mango sauce and touch of real coconut!

I recommend that place and will be back soon!

知道上環有一間人氣甜品法式撻專門店,一直都想來嘗嘗,因為在上環見完客,終於可以一試!這間小店有不少捧場客,店內張貼了不少傳媒的訪問,也有好多名人的簽名~有外賣,也有bar枱可以在店內享用!這裡的甜點都是全人手製造,每款$45-50每個撻都各有特色,款式都很迎合香港人的口味,有大家都好喜歡的抹茶味!我這次選了3款!Sesame Matcha、Coconut Mango和Mojito MocktailSesame Matcha這個是我的大愛!撻上面撒了一層抹茶粉,抹茶味甘香,慕絲軟滑細膩!中間有一層海綿蛋糕,芝麻香慢慢滲透出來!味道很平衡,配合得天衣無縫!Coconut Mango上層的蛋糕佈滿椰絲,再加上芒果醬!這層口感鬆軟綿密!椰子味好香,椰子和芒果的甜味好夾!椰香在口中久久不散!喜歡椰子味的一定要試!Mojito Mocktail上面有薄荷葉,再加上青檸味,超fresh!起初以為是有酒的,但原來是沒有酒精的!慕絲好creamy和滑溜!味道很清新,不會覺得膩!不會有罪惡感!雖然價錢有點貴,但也是值得,賣相話麼精美,也畢竟是餅廚落足心機炮製!

這個是我的大愛!撻上面撒了一層抹茶粉,抹茶味甘香,慕絲軟滑細膩!
中間有一層海綿蛋糕,芝麻香慢慢滲透出來!
味道很平衡,配合得天衣無縫!

起初以為是有酒的,但原來是沒有酒精的!
慕絲好creamy和滑溜!
味道很清新,不會覺得膩!不會有罪惡感!

雖然價錢有點貴,但也是值得,賣相話麼精美,也畢竟是餅廚落足心機炮製!

The store has a very simple and modern interior. Various autographs of popstars are hanged on the so-called ‘Wall of Fame’ just near the tart display. The lime light never stops flashing in the selfie zone which is settled in the corner of the shop with some props for the pictures. The large display fridge which stands in the middle of the store is placed under the bright light, so each highlighted masterpiece would make it so addicate and irresistible to try.

One of the shopkeepers, Luke (a very friendly guy), stands in the counter welcoming with his warm smile. ‘French dessert is one of the must-have of French cuisine’, says Luke while serving the tarte.

Each dessert in the shop is handmade. The most popular desserts among the Hongkongers is the Matcha tarte desserts, their ingredients are directly sent from Japan. After trying it, it is not difficult to understand why all the tartes sell out so quickly.


I was looking to try one of the bestsellers of Tartes & Pop but they were already sold out when I came in, so Luke recommended me other three options:


Raspberry Chocolate Tarte

The tarte tastes rich in raspberry and its crunchy base flavoured with chocolate creates a perfect combination blending sour and sweet. The finishing top is sexy enough that you no longer need to watch porn before bed, while the chocolate mousse adds a caress for your taste buds. All the chocolate lovers surely cannot miss it.

Mojito Mocktail Tarte

The tarte doesn’t only taste like a Mojito but also looks like one, it is beautifully decorated with lemon flavoured jelly and mint leaves. Even the appearance of the would rise your appetite. Well balanced taste between the sourness of lemon, and the refreshment of mint gives an extra hint. Having the challenge to mimic a classic Mojito they managed to completely nail it.


Verbena Pineapple Tarte

‘People who live in Hong Kong might not be familiar with verbena.’ Luke said, ‘Verbena is a common herb in France. Other than adding to soup, it can be added to dessert.’ Putting together with seasonal pineapple, the sourness brings up the unique favour.

The crunchy base seems easily made (combining such ingredients as butter, milk and eggs). But they are different in every tarte store and believe me, if you try desserts in Tartes & Pop, you won’t be able to switch to any other ones, just because of its unique French recipe.

The store also provides delivery service. Gift packs and other package is available to share the joy of French tartes. HKD 40 for a tarte might seem a bit lavish, but for this unique luxury experience, it’s worth paying.

真正吸引我進來的, 是掛在門口橙色卡通字樣的Open牌。 小弟孤陋寡聞未聽過鼎鼎大名的Tartes&Pop, 慶幸有這個偶遇有機會品嘗。


店內只有一個大冰櫃, 裏面陳列著所有在店內購買的產品。 櫃上是笑面迎人的法國店主之一Luke. 典型外國型男, 櫃內是精心打造的藝術品, 加上店內裝潢清新型格路線, 很難不令人理解,為什麼店內的產品可以火速沽清。


Lukes 說法國甜品是法國的國粹之一, 選址在這裏開業除了是能夠享有比較理想的租金外,區内的氛圍也比較適合這種重質不重量的小店生存。 店內每一份甜品都是由他和合伙人親手製作, 當中最受香港人歡迎的抹茶甜品,材料更是由日本直送。


Bestseller不幸地售罄了。Luke推薦了我另外三款撻。


覆盆子朱古力撻 (Raspberry Chocolate Tarte) 

鬆脆餅底額外添加了朱古力, 入口很有梅果的香味, 初入口時稍為比較酸。 但後面朱古力揮發出的時候, 就發現朱古力和紅莓出奇地夾。下面朱古力慕絲打得挺身不膩口。 若果喜歡朱古力的朋友不能錯過。


莫希托撻 (Mojito Mocktail Tarte)

店主聲稱是無酒精版本的Mojito. 經典雞尾酒的組合放在甜品中是一種驚喜,有份子料理般的精緻。 甜品師把檸檬汁分別製成啫喱和方型泡沫, 加上薄荷葉和中間加入薄荷的檸檬慕絲。 除了不得不讚的外貌外, 檸檬的酸度和薄荷的力度亦恰到好處。 下層的餅底依然鬆脆, 並不會因為上層的慕絲而變軟,乃心機之作。


菠蘿馬鞭草撻(Verbena Pineapple Tarte)

香港人也許對馬鞭草比較陌生,Luke 說馬鞭草才是法國當地極為普遍的香料。 除了會加入餐湯中也會製成甜品。 今次刻意用上時令的菠蘿,用酸甜帶出香料獨特的氣味....


不得不提是甜品店的自家製餅底, 每一個吃下去依然香脆濃郁。 店主說也是使用牛油牛奶雞蛋等材料, 但是這種獨特的感覺要你親身食過才會明白。


店內除了有堂食亦有外賣供應,有$400/9個的gift Pack. 更有外賣到會的服務。 除了甜品櫃,店內竟亦有名人堂(Wall of Fame , Luke 說是這些歌手來香港的時候訂購了他們的甜品時簽名。 除此之外角落亦有道具擺設的Selfie Zone, 食得自然當然亦要影得。

有人說四十多元一個Tart很昂貴, 但是外國直送材料,法式甜品地道製作。整個Package, 很值得!

生日蛋糕就食得多,生日tarte就第一次! 之前一直都好想試下依間嘅甜品,點知今年生日班好朋友就偷偷地訂做左個cake size嘅朱古力tarte比我!認真驚喜又有心思!食落果然不負眾望,mousse滑得尼好濃朱古力味,配上berry嘅酸,酸酸甜甜好夾啊!蛋糕面仲有朱古力薄片同紅莓,口感都幾豐富~最欣賞tarte底 好脆好鬆化!下次一定要試埋其他味!

A while ago they had a really special pandan tart which I really wanted to try but unfortunately I didn't know about it so missed it.This time I found out about the pecan and popcorn which are my two favourite ingredients.The pecan is a fine nut with a light crisp crunch and fragrant flavour complimented by sweet honey.Topped with caramelized popcorn giving it a lovely sweet finishing.Also had the coffee brulee tart which is cream brulee with a twist.I liked the coffee infused in the brulee beca

The pecan is a fine nut with a light crisp crunch and fragrant flavour complimented by sweet honey.
Topped with caramelized popcorn giving it a lovely sweet finishing.
Also had the coffee brulee tart which is cream brulee with a twist.
I liked the coffee infused in the brulee because it jazzes up the brulee and balances the sweetness.

A friend told me that Tarte and Pop was a must in Hong Kong and I was not disappointed! I went for the chocolate and raspberry tart. Delicious! The perfect balance of flavor with a fondant chocolate on a chocolate crumble topped with a thin layer of raspberry jam. And to make the experience even better the staff is very friendly and keen to explain everything about the baking and the tarts.Will definitely go back to taste the sesame matcha tart !

Sesame Matcha Tarte同樣由五層組成。由兩個正方形加一個圓形拼湊而成。最頂層是一粒小小的正方形朱古力蛋糕。下面是正方形的抹茶布丁。抹茶濃而不苦,茶味幽香。緊接着是芝麻糊,芝麻味好重,粉粉地,好似食緊芝麻糊。下面係白色甜甜地嘅蛋糕。最下層係朱古力餅底,包住芝麻糊同白色蛋糕。朱古力餅底脆口而質地實,用叉食要稍用力才可弄碎來吃。唔食過呢件撻唔知抹茶、芝麻同朱古力嘅味道原來係咁夾架!佢啲抹茶之所以咁好味係有原因架。職員話我知,鍾意抹茶嘅人一定會鍾意食佢呢個撻,因為佢地選用左日本宇治抹茶。唔信?店舖有展示宇治抹茶証明書。唔到你唔信啦。職員重話呢款撻係佢地舖頭其中一款最好賣嘅撻。抹茶控快啲黎試下啦!

至於另外一個蛋糕我就拿了和我的朋友慶祝生日,這個朱古力紅莓蛋糕樣子細小,但是包含的口感十分豐富!上面有脆脆的朱古力薄片,配上少許的紅莓醬,下面是鬆軟的蛋糕層。一口咬落去,只一些甘苦的朱古力味和酸酸甜甜的紅莓醬混作一體,口感豐富。而且不會令人覺得太甜和太膩的感覺呢!

一入去便覺得好有音樂feel , 牆掛了好多 popstar photos.色彩也繽紛。anyway, the strawberry tart was so captivating and the earl grey orange too.strawberry tarte and vanilla was sweet and pleasing with a juicy strawberry on top.the vanilla was silky.the earl grey was not so sweet but had a fragrant tea taste complimented by orange.茶味和橙夾得arm arm好。the color of this tart really matched the boxss.

anyway, the strawberry tart was so captivating and the earl grey orange too.
strawberry tarte and vanilla was sweet and pleasing with a juicy strawberry on top.

I strongly recommend this little shop in Sheung Wan which made the best tartes in Hong Kong. I tasted the mojito tart that was amazing! I really had the impression to eat a mojito but with a crispy white chocolate base really tasty. They also delivered their tart so do not hésite to order and to go !

Orange Earl Grey tarte 香橙伯爵茶撻 $45
小店恆常提供九款作品,當中有些是期間限定,而最吸引我的就是這個口味,結果也沒令人失望;入口先有橘子的清香,然後慢慢滲出伯爵茶的淡雅,兩者味道平衡,加上甜甜酸酸的新鮮果蓉和果肉,榮登我們心中最愛。

Sesame Matcha tarte 黑芝麻抹茶撻 $45
最後吃的也是最濃味的,以近年港人大愛的抹茶配芝麻入饌,理論上該不會錯,可惜芝麻味頗為霸道,感覺像吃湯圓,喜歡的大抵會很喜歡,我則平平。

吃了三款都覺得是水準以上,甚為驚喜,還有焦糖燉蛋和覆盆子朱古力口味想試,有機會要再來。想起上年漫遊巴黎時也吃過不少令人留下深刻印象的甜點,上天是特別疼愛他們給他們如此可愛的天賦嗎?

First I go with the Match one, as the staff he been explaining how the tartes made of una. really detailed way. There are certificates to proof that they are using Matcha imported from Japan to make this tart

The top of the tart is made of a strong taste of Matcha, and stuffed with sesame and mochi, the texture is quite nice, and the combined tastes of Matcha and Green tea just matches so well!

Inside of the tarte is stuffed with dark chocolate mousse, combining with the raspberry sauce, sour and sweet at the dad time, it's just so refreshing and I liked it!

The Coffee  Cream  Brūlée  Tarte is just the best among all! Not even eating it, just sniff the taste of the tarte, there are a really strong taste of coffee already!
Traditional Cream  Brūlée is boring while here mixes it with coffee, make the taste perfect!

It's a really nice and chill place to get some light dessert from, they serve take away too, will come back for sure for all these delicate tartes!

Just walking through sheung Wan and i came across this nice looking French shop, near western market. Staff is really nice and explains the process of making, why these tarts are so special. Really interesting and go starter. Then the tart itself, really good with different and various and original tastes. I strongly recommend this shop and will come back for sure to try group options with the package.

好耐之前見到佢地既Sesame Matcha tart就好想去食,今次終於去左食,試左三個撻作下午茶。雖然係外賣既店但都有幾個堂食位!啲撻既款式都好多,最岩同朋友一人揀一款share食。我最愛就係Sesame Matcha tarte估吾到抹茶同芝麻甘夾,又吾會搶對方既味道,佢既撻底勁正,keep到好脆 ,佢地用既係宇治抹茶粉所以係好抹茶~Orange earl grey tarte有伯爵茶幽幽清香,夾心既橙果醬好light,所以整體都好清新。而餅底就吾同另外兩款tart,食落都好脆crunchy既口感。Coffee crème brûlée tarte不嬲都好愛cream brulee,今次仲配搭上咖啡味,但咖啡味恰到好處,吾會搶左cream brulee既蛋香甜味, 反而咖啡味既加入令整體層次多左!甘樣既matching就好似tiramisu甘,咖啡味都係好夾又點綴左成個甜。 撻底上面一層係shortbread,綿綿既質感好似蛋糕,做左個緩衝令上面濕潤既燉蛋吾會令撻底變淋,保持脆身乾身既口感!
