First, I know the guest quality would be reflected by its price, but I am just worried that the rude customers would affect the reputation of Hong Kong in front of the tourist.
Lunch buffet was a real bargain, only $148 even during weekend. However, the food also reflects a lot. The oyster is not suitable for ingest really, full of shells bits and sand and it has turned bitter already (not fresh). The hot dishes were limited and quality was really so so, the only edible was the carving part which does nice lamb (I saw a kid playing with the mustard and mint jelly so I decided I don’t want to touch any of those, pure gravy is just as good).
The sashimi quality varies, but often serving tail part of the fish instead of the belly part. The salad bar was fair. The self-catered tea area help reduce staff’s work, but I saw 2 kid nearly spilt with coffee all over coz they were running around. Scary.
Dessert were awful, cheese cake were not rich (not even german cheesecake!!!), other cake were not nice either, unbelivable! The chocolate fountain is like a minimum requirement these days (which I didn’t try so can’t really comment). The ice-cream were scooped by the staff so its not reali fun.
