It’s getting colder and colder this season and I realised there’s one winter staple that I haven’t had this year - that being the Lamb Pot.I came to this restaurant expecting to order some Taiwanese food, but after seeing the enormous variety of choices here, I decided on ordering the Lamb Pot and the Brine Duck.— Brine Duck ($85) —We ordered a small portion of brine duck, which actually has quite a lot of pieces. I came to this restaurant expecting to order some Taiwanese food, but after seeing the enormous variety of choices here, I decided on ordering the Lamb Pot and the Brine Duck.
— Brine Duck ($85) —
We ordered a small portion of brine duck, which actually has quite a lot of pieces. This is served cold and the duck is subsequently harder in texture. It is infused in brine, making it a savoury and mouthwatering dish.
— Lamb Pot ($358) —
This came in a huge portion, particularly when there’s only two of us. The soup is very flavourful and had a lot of other ingredients in it too, including bamboo, tofu skin etc. The Lamb portion was very generous too and I especially loved the pieces with soft, yet bouncy skin. The Lamb is infused with flavour by the soup and tastes delicious served hot. This also comes with a plate of vegetables, creating a well rounded balance of nutrients.
And who can forget to order rice to go along with it
All in all, both of the dishes that night was splendid and I loved it so much, I ended up coming again a few days later with more friends and family!
