塔形狀嘅東坡肉除咗呢靚之外,今次唔送飯,而係送包,因配有包俾你夾住佢嚟食㗎! 可能啲包索咗佢啲油分,所以只係覺得東坡肉好香,而中間擺滿梅菜,全部包埋一齊食,味道非常濃烈,一啲油膩嘅感覺都冇, 做得出色!

早前於網上看到此餐廳主打精緻淮揚茶,與朋友逛街後便來一試。餐廳環境高雅,職員安排我們坐在sofa卡位,十分舒適。就坐後先點了小籠包。雖然此點心貌似簡單,但要做得好卻一點也不易。小籠包一咬開便流出鮮甜的湯汁,伴上少量醋作調味,相當好吃。再來點了茶香煙燻脆皮雞。雞皮的確十分香脆,肉質亦嫩滑,可惜卻不太嚐到煙燻的味道。最後點了薺菜肉絲炒年糕,年糕口感煙韌,配上辣醬更添味道,也是一道不錯的主菜。據聞餐廳有時更會有live band演奏,相信屆時將會更有「夜上海」的氣氛。

2個星期前打電話預約並特別預訂壽包,因為同屋企人慶祝surprised生日。等我們吃完main dishes後,叫埋單上壽包。佢哋話沒有收到order,宜家整...仲話free俾我。問題不在於錢!而係我已經一早專登講明話要,當時接電話個位都confirmed咗3次話ok,但結果係咁!坦白講,食物沒有什麼特別好而且大部分只是暖暖地偏凍...

第一次到十里洋場。一向對1957有信心,果然不失望:裝修(觀感)一流,食品有水準。但本題目已經講晒:實在太嘈啦!兩個人食五樣:黑松露素鵝 - 輕微炸過火油爆蝦 - 好脆夠味毛豆百葉 - 百葉泡得好鐵板小籠包 - 夠熱、有新意思蜜汁火腿方塊 - 蒸包做得好好,火腿夠味,百葉夠脆好平均。都係可惜太嘈,同埋經理態度比較冷漠。

These ones really looked good on paper with black truffle pearls in the mix but I thought the truffle flavor was a bit light. On the other hand, they were a little heavy-handed with the white pepper powder. Not very tasty and I blame it on the seasoning which they failed to get right.

Deep-fried sweet and sour mandarin fish with pine nuts (翠珠魚花 - 松子魚) ($268) - Beautifully plated and well portioned. The mandarin fish was pretty delicious and it provided good value for money as well. Easily the best dish of the night.

Braised chicken and shrimp dumplings in chicken consommé (濃湯砂鍋雲吞雞 - 半份) ($198) - I noticed it read "rich consommé" in the Chinese translation there which I didn't pay much attention to at the time of ordering. But this was really strong and overpowering. Most of us needed to drink a few cups of water to get the taste out of our mouth.

Traditional braised pork balls in brown sauce (張大千紅燒獅子頭) ($128) - I love Lion's Head and frankly, this was quite decent. Interestingly, the brown sauce was not the same thick sauce I got accustomed to over the years. Personally, I won't mind a bit more seasoning (such as a thicker sauce) coz after all, that's what Shanghainese cuisine is all about - 濃油赤醬.

I thought the kitchen had a pretty inconsistent night. We got some dishes which were heavily seasoned (but shouldn't have been) while others were noticeably under-seasoned (like the Lion's Head).

But despite the inconsistent performance, I was quite happy to see some major improvements from the service team. The lady who took care of us was amazing throughout the night. So, at least, they got one thing right since our last visit.

Entrance of 10 Shanghai is stylish like a moon. Stepping in, the decoration is quite modern and classy...it doesn't feel like you are in a Chinese restaurant. This place serves delicate Huaiyang cuisine with a modern twist.  Given the prime location of this restaurant, you would expect expensive menu. It was served with a glass cover and you can see the smoke inside. Once placed on the table, the waiter removed the glass cover and the smoky smell rushed out running into our nose. The boiled eggs have a strong smoky taste with a tint of pepper on the surface. Delicious!

I'm a huge fan of Japanese grilled eel, my favorite is Nagoya eel. So far I haven't taste any eel that amazed me in HK yet but tonight, I found it! The deep fried eel was coated with honey, it is so crunchy like eating chips! We cannot stop eating it, it is non-stoppable. Thumbs up

We wanted to order Dongpo's Pork Pagoda but the waiter told us it was sold out so we ordered this dish. The dish is huge! Balance portion of fat and meat, thumbs up 
. The meat is juicy and soft, tears apart easily.


This place is suitable for business. friends or casual gathering.  If you want to order variety of dishes to try, you may consider inviting more guests.

好像有一陣子沒有推介中菜了😝,話說最近吃過這間,難得覺得應該一訪再訪❗️此菜館開業僅數個月,裝潢設計十分華麗,還有中式live band😂。因為是公司聚餐,我們點了套餐,但有好幾道菜味道真的很不錯,好想推介🤤 然後看了看餐牌,發現價錢其實好合理。1️⃣ 黑松露珍珠燻糖心蛋 ($48/2隻)蛋好流心,滿滿煙燻味,美美又好吃😋2️⃣ 東坡千層寶塔 ($238)新式梅菜扣肉 ‼️哇這個超精緻,絕對是在考師傅的刀法🔪 五花腩切得超薄身,裡面是梅菜。雖然味道不是特別好,但很吸睛。用包夾著吃啊。3️⃣ 黑蒜牛肋骨 ($208)這個比想像中好吃🤤 肉非常淋,重牛味💕4️⃣ 鐵板灌湯生煎包 ($64/4件)用鐵板上,熱到爆炸😂 多湯肉餡好吃😋 最重要的是包底好脆!5️⃣ 黃金蝦球 x 清炒蝦仁🍤前者即是咸蛋黃蝦球😍 外皮香脆,咸蛋黃味濃郁。另外,松子桂花魚 ($318)、魚翅湯及薑汁湯圓也很不錯啊!總括而言,這裡好適合大伙子聚餐 或當你想吃好一點,又想吃中菜的時候來啊~

The first thing I noticed about this place, without even touching the food menu, was the noise level in the dining hall. The tables were a little too close to one other and it was almost like sitting besides a bunch of high-performance speakers and subwoofers. I can really feel the sound waves bouncing off my body left and right.

But I have to admit, I like their food menu and there're a number of reasons behind. For one, it has pretty good coverage including snacks (3 pages on this section alone), seafood, soup, meat and poultry, vegetables, dim sum, rice and noodle, and dessert. Prices are pretty reasonable considering it's located in a prime location in Causeway Bay and last but not least, the contemporary twist on some of the classical dishes, it's a breath of fresh air.

Crispy bean curd roll with black truffle (黑松露脆皮上素鵝) ($98) - I have always been a big fan of crispy bean curd rolls, or vegetarian goose as it's often called. These were pretty nice and good work by the black truffle sauce to make them even more tasty (Grade: 7/10).

The wrappers were surprisingly thin (you won't be able to tell from the photos at all!) but the broth seemed to have evaporated from the heated pan. Just a little weird having xiao long bao without the delicious broth (Grade: 4/10).

There's still a fair amount of broth inside the buns (which were delicious and pillowy) and the minced pork was so juicy. Pretty nice (Grade: 7.5/10).

I like the presentation here but I was expecting something totally different, something that looks a little more like the traditional Shanghainese sticky rice rolls (those ones that go with soy milk) but with a crispy crust. But this turns out to be more like a woba (or rice crispies/鍋巴) (Grade: 5/10).

There were some hit-and-misses here and there but I thought the dim sums and snacks were quite nice. They've got to do something with the noise level though. It's supposed to be an upscale restaurant but it felt more like a cha chaan teng as we had to literally yell at each other to get our conversation going.

This is also a good spot for weekend Chinese-style brunches (“yum cha”), but I would suggest making a booking in advance to be safe (we did, however, walk in on a weekend lunch-time on this occasion). Waiting staff speak Cantonese with an accent and while they are reasonably helpful, they may host your meal with a more casual attitude than one might expect.

I thought this was made to a decent standard with an authentic dip, but was slightly on the fatty side. There are restaurants in Hong Kong where the layer of fat is removed before serving.

因朋友已來過,所以4個前菜都是他們推介的,我喜歡醉乳鵨及黑松露脆皮素鵝,這兩個前菜是熱盤來的。

鵨擺盤做型很優雅,骨大部份已去除,鵨肉嫩;花雕酒香遠遠都聞到。素鵝炸得剛好,腐皮脆不韌,黑松露味有但不過濃,仍食到素鵝的基本味道。

火腿津白是整個午餐中最不合格,賣相差,還要比家中姐姐炒出來的求其,份量少,$98出來是如此,跟其他出品很不襯!

幸好,甜點時間令開心指數回升。

梳乎厘最少要等15分鐘

加分部分:服務員有禮貌,看得出有經培訓去提供資訊給客人,當天有位女服務員主動來跟我們說用某信用咭消費滿$500就可以有一份免費小籠包。另外一位就在我們等結帳時跟我們說每星期五及六晚上,這裏有現場歌手表演, 還提議我們訂晚上8點後,這樣就一定欣賞到。服務質素跟飯店形象成正比。讚!

We went there for dinner on a Friday and the food was delicious. It is in fact my 2nd time there for dinner but last time there was no live music. I highly recommend not to go if there is live music unless you are sitting close to the door or in a room. Not that the music was bad but the music was so loud in a low headroom restaurant people were shouting next to each other just to talk and it gets louder and LOUDER. I couldn’t even communicate with the waitress and turns out she took 4 order

I highly suggest to the people running the restaurant not to perform live music as the restaurant setting is not suitsble for performing music.
