We came here for lunch and they have a free flow wine for 90 minutes without extra charges. The receptionist and captain are both friendly. We picked the lobster juice rice as the captain recommended. It is really great, the lobster meat is so fresh and the rice is just well favoured. And I like the dessert brownie as well!We also like the Christmas decoration here. Will recommend to my friends and definitely coming again!

鍾意西班牙菜，隔一段時間就會想食Tapas, Paella, Iberian ham...😋呢間三層嘅餐廳，一去到已經好鍾意個環境，地下係bar area，以綠色同植物營造出特別嘅感覺，好舒適！上面兩層係餐廳，目測見到二樓大部份係一大班人gathering，上到三樓就全部係2-3人食飯，可見餐廳安排坐位也有一番心思今餐係二人生日飯，本來打算試多啲tapas，心目中已經有啲選擇，點知一打開menu就比個juicy lobster rice吸引咗...最後，係餐廳servicer好詳細咁比suggestion我哋去落order，服務值得一讚食物：Juicy Lobster Rice: 推介！味道好香濃，唔膩龍蝦🦞多肉有羔！兩個人食其實唔吃力，不過就未必可以同時食到其他野Broken Egg: 好味！可以揀Iberian ham or truffle。我揀咗ham，有少少鹹，但配上蛋同薯仔同食就相當不錯還有值得一提嘅蘸麵包醬，呢度係用sour cream 同一個微辣嘅蕃茄香料醬，兩個醬都同酸種麵包超夾喺度食生日飯好開心，因為餐廳會一行人走嚟唱一首好開心嘅生日歌！😂總括嚟講，呢間餐廳確係幾好！

Restaurant Week又嚟啦，所以約埋兩個朋友一齊去The Optimist嘆返個weekend brunch💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻計埋今年我已經係第三次嚟啦，因為覺得呢間餐廳嘅環境、服務同食物質素都好唔錯，而且活動menu嘅性價比比較高。📍Starters Selection1. Iberian Cold Cuts Selection：包括西班牙火腿、兩款西班牙臘腸以及芝士片，味道正路好食指數：4/52. 西班牙蛋餅：每次嚟必食！材料好簡單，主要係薯仔同蛋，但係真係好好食😋好食指數：5/53. Pinchos of the Day：- 芝士多士：芝士上面加嘅果醬可以話係錦上添花，同多士本身嘅味道好夾，好食好食指數：4.5/54. Spinach Salad：配蘋果醬酸酸甜甜好開胃，不過三人份稍嫌份量太少好食指數：3.5/55. Mix Croquets：- 圓形嘅係Mushroom Croquet，一咬開就聞到好香嘅黑松露味，裡面有牛肝菌粒同芝士，食落又脆又creamy，我同朋友都一致好評👍🏼好食指數：5/5- 橢圓形嘅係用伊比利亞火腿、西班牙甜椒以及大蒜蛋黃醬製成，因為Mushroo

Had my birthday dinner here. The service was amazing and the food was equally great. Had the beef cheek and tuna tartar for tapas and lobster rice for the main. They gave ma a surprise dessert to celebrate my birthday. Will be coming back here again!

【 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙾𝙿𝚃𝙸𝙼𝙸𝚂𝚃 】The Optimist樓高三層，地下有酒吧同好多人打卡嘅梳化位，之前lunch去左食佢地嘅semi-buffet，獲安排坐喺二樓，都有一大片玻璃，採光好好～本身前菜係自己去三樓food station拎，疫情之下就改為每人一份，有cold cuts, cheese, pintxos同沙律等，食完想refill某一款就可以同waiter講，夠曬衛生👍🏻雖然係任食，但質素都唔錯，我地仲叫多左一round manchego cheese同ham！主菜我地叫左Pescaito(assorted fried fish basket)：炸得香脆，配埋tartare sauce幾開胃；Beef 72 (braised beef cannelloni)：（應該譯做意大利麵捲？有冇人可指正）略為乾左少少。食完前菜都已經飽飽地，可能多啲人去share啲主菜會開心啲😂唔好唔記得仲有甜品！當日仲有free flow beverages，一路食野飲野傾下計，不經不覺就坐左兩個幾鐘～不得不提嘅係佢地嘅服務，真係💯！一如已往咁開朗，好helpful，加酒/轉酒都好快手！唔小心跌左餐

We are first time visiting there , the staff will recommend some dishes , teach us how to enjoy the food and help us to share the food etc. Great serving experience here We ordered 4 foods (including 1 main, no dessert no cocktail), which is very enough for 2 girls It will be great if mentioned the spicy 🌶 food on menu and 2 hrs don’t enough 😛The astomphere is quite romantic, can take some beautiful photos

Been **The Optimist** at Wan chai for Restaurant Week ! Lunch menu $198 p.p.My fd ordered Broken egg as main course.It is a dish with confit potato🥔 , poached egg and Iberico ham. Small portion size.. soso taste.. Added extra $48 for this. Salmon Guetaria with Portobello Mushrooms. Salmon fillet cooked with garlic 🧄, extra virgin olive oil, sherry vinegar. And the charcoal grilled Portobello mushrooms marinated with herbs, chimichurri sauce. Nice and warm 👍🏿Egg flan with lemon cream and almond

上次夏季restaurant week食左Pirata Group主打義大利菜嘅Pirata後，感覺環境，食物質素，服務態度，各方面都幾好，所以秋季restaurant week，我地又來啦😝不過今次去嘅係主打西班牙菜嘅The Optimist💁🏻‍♀️開始之前，餐廳會先上兩款酸種麵包🥖比大家點酸忌廉食，外脆內軟嘅麵包同酸忌廉真心超夾🤩Starters (All for sharing)Iberian Cold Cuts Selection🧀-入面有芝士，soft cheese配jam嘅包，兩款salami同埋風乾嘅ham-超級欣賞個soft cheese配jam嘅小脆包，芝士味道唔會太濃郁，仲食到微微嘅果醬酸甜味；兩者互相平衡😋-salami同ham嘅份量同質素無因為restaurant week嘅優惠而降低🥰Pinchos of the day🥚-即係北西班牙式蛋餅，入面撈左啲薯仔同洋蔥，令蛋餅味道無咁單調之餘仲增加左口感Mix Croquetas🥔-兩款西班牙炸球，分別係ham同mushroom嘅口味，菇個個一切開已經聞到勁香，而ham個個就略為膩同濃味左少少，不過兩款都做到完美嘅

因為有 #restaurantweek 優惠，我又有原因約同事嚟呢度食午餐😻。午餐套餐 HK$198/位，有3道菜，仲推出咗一些新菜式食😋1️⃣ STARTERS有4種類別嘅前菜，開心share．凍肉片：黑毛豬火腿、西班牙香腸、salchichón 臘腸、queso 芝士 (芝士正呀)．是日北西班牙小食 (pinchos)：西班牙蛋餅，麵包佐芝士和莓果醬．菠菜沙拉：菠菜幼葉、蘋果蓉、日曬葡萄乾和堅果．西班牙可樂餅：黑毛豬火腿可樂餅、紅椒牛肝菌可樂餅 (呢2款真係好味😋)2️⃣ MAIN COURSE從餐牌上五款主菜𥚃揀一款，我哋食咗新嗰2款：Canelones de Truffa (+HK$48) 滿滿巴馬臣芝士嘅白汁意粉卷配牛面頰肉，我覺得是西班牙版嘅肉碎芝士闊條麵😋Salmon "Guetaria" with Portobello Mushrooms (+HK$48) ．香煎赫塔里亚三文魚魚柳：煎得香口，肉質鮮嫩多汁．炭燒大啡菇粒撈埋啲阿根廷青醬和香草，好味呀😋3️⃣ DULCE從餐牌上2款甜品𥚃揀一款或咖啡，我哋都鍾情芝士蛋糕。Mixed Berry Cheesecake呢個甜品必食，芝士蛋

疫情暫緩，約了幾位老友敍一敍，先在地下的酒吧喝兩杯，點了杯 Bellini，有位朋友遲來，又添了杯 Prosecco，人齊了才進餐廳，喜歡這安排先來幾個 Tapas， 炸芝士火腿薯波精彩，還有蒜油蝦，蝦汁青口，和 broken egg，即火腿煎蛋薯仔組合，簡單但出奇好吃，各樣都水準不俗，但要百多元一客，有点貴。四人共點了二個大盤 Share，烤乳猪相當出色，皮脆肉嫩，咬下去油香四射，份量也大。Lobster Rice 味道濃沃，蝦頭尤其滋味，也很正斗 相對之下，大盤收費合理， 之後餐廳也送了個甜點拼盤。 大家吃吃談談，時間過得很快，之後再下去酒吧區再多兩杯才盡歡。

又到左一年一度HK Dinning week。想食好西又想慳荷包，呢個係每年必然出動嘅時候。好多城中優秀嘅餐廳包括被米芝蓮加持嘅各大星級餐廳，都有參與呢個活動。今年市道唔好，參加嘅餐廳更加係空前嘅多。今日我哋選擇嘅係The Optimist西班牙菜。餐廳一共三層，地面多數係飲酒食tapas，平時Happy Hour價錢都好優惠，一杯酒都係40零蚊起。食飯一般都會上二三樓，比較近廚房，唔使侍應行咁遠Dining week menu係$198起，有前菜主菜及甜品。午飯加配嘅無酒精飲品都係$30一杯。餐廳經理好有善，好識講笑，亦都好用心咁解釋個Menu俾我哋聽。麵包係歐式麵包，外脆內軟嗰種，配搭嘅竟然唔係西班牙一般常用嘅橄欖油而係酸忌廉，第一次咁食又出奇咁夾。圖中係四人份量嘅前菜兩款croquettes，即係西班牙炸球，分別係蘑菇味同西班牙火腿iberico ham味。另外仲有西班牙蛋餅，混合左薯仔同埋洋蔥，呢度係一道好簡單嘅菜式，但到底啲蛋香唔香，薯仔唔會太林洋蔥多少同味道嘅配搭，越簡單嘅菜式就越係要花心機。另外仲有芝士、果醬軟芝士open sandwich、兩款辣肉腸chorizo同西班

2/5Nice environment and staffs. Food are just alright tho. Semi buffet lunch with free flow wine, wine are not bad. We didn’t enjoy the salad, the veggie , combination and seasoning. Cold cuts are normal, nothing special. All main taste alright, no surprise some disappointing. Lobster rice, lobster good cooking time, sauce and rice too salty, even change it for second time.Chicken seasoning was boring, meat alittle dry. 星期五lunch同同事嚟咗食The Optimist. 呢排冇 semi buffet, 我哋嗌左$228嘅lunch set.除咗包，仲有啲小食，今日係類似燒青椒，唔係個個啱食，但係我就覺得幾特別。至於個湯係冷盤嚟嘅，waitress會嚟逐個倒湯，個湯係酸酸甜甜好特別嘅味道但係就食唔出係咩 😆 個酸味都幾濃，可以一啖包一啖湯慢慢飲前菜揀咗吞拿魚tartare，一齊上嘅係牛油果醬同脆嘅包。至於main course, 我揀咗一個”焗牛肉粉”, 係好creamy亦都好好食嘅，但係一個人食晒就可能會有啲”漏” (呢個冇影相)另外同事食嘅燒春雞賣相就非常吸引，下次一於試呢個。最後仲有甜品，揀咗Brownie. 有啲甜，但係都係好食嘅。 今餐最大驚喜我覺得反而係前菜小食同湯，雖然食唔出係咩，但幾樣嘢都幾有特色。 同事之間評價好壞參半，而我就覺得鍾意嘗試新味道嘅值得一試 😋😄
