Hamachi – Rocket butter, yuzu gel, nori paste($140):油甘魚頭盤賣相鮮美潤澤,魚肉亦相當柔軟,敗筆在於所黏上嘅柚子啫喱過酸,同個紫菜醬唔係好夾之餘,更奪走哂油甘魚嘅鮮味

,細佬都係第一次食酸嘅天婦羅!碟上最正嘅就係脆卜卜嘅蘆筍,只係自己明明唔食得辣都情願點七味粉食惹味版天婦羅。

標明為日本餐廳嘅「Honjo」環境寬廣,酒客滿場,氣氛十足,服務生誠懇有幹勁,問題係所謂嘅新派日本料理過份洋化,配料及調味太過著重酸同辣,食材質量平庸甚至偏低,高級嘅價格也太欠缺說服力了
,XO仔慶生要食到咪起眼睛,堅冇癮!

Another Japanese restaurant that worth a mention~ They deliver new dynamic flavoured Japanese modern food with reasonable price. We ordered few dishes and I got three that worth mentioning, they are the fried chicken wings, shushi and wagyu slice. Shushi are average, but I am pleased by the plating. We ordered few dishes and I got three that worth mentioning, they are the fried chicken wings, shushi and wagyu slice. Shushi are average, but I am pleased by the plating. The Raw Wagyu is outstanding and it became one of my favourite of the night!

For the food, there are a variety of starters for sharing, unlimited sushi, sashimi, oysters 🍣 and a main dish for each. We all got different main dishes to try.
We loved their Fried Chicken and Wagyu starters and Flank Steak and Salmon Teriyaki. 

The girls ordered Oysters on repeat. 

Their Chicken was on the dry side and Sashimi & Sushi were just OK. 


Overall, it's a good & pretty place for free-flow drinking 

Nice ambience and crowd.
Don't expect the best sushi & sashimi.
Their hot dishes are better.

記得細個食嘅紫菜脆片嗎?exactly就係個隻,不過比想像中厚左啲。Hummus主要由鷹嘴豆,枝豆磨蓉而成,充滿豆香。

咬落好嫩滑,仲有啲位係脆嘅!個汁唔會太鹹亦唔會過量,真心好食唔heavy😍

Hamachi🍣
呢個係餐廳嘅熱門推介‼️‼️小金一向都鐘意食油甘魚刺身嘅,呢個刺身上面舖左小小薑同辣椒,可以捲埋再點由青檸,豉油同味噌調製嘅醬汁,食落除左帶岀魚嘅鮮味之外,仲增加左層次感。加上醬汁有青檸嘅關係,食落好開胃😛

2️⃣MAINS
Salmon teriyaki🐠
切開就會發現煎嘅時間預得剛剛好,唔會好熟,食落嫩滑帶魚油香,唧埋青檸食落更滋味🥳

200g USDA Prime Ribeye Steak(+$88)🥩
Medium rare嘅肉眼扒,食落唔會好油,可以點旁邊嘅燒肉醬,不過個人覺得都係點鹽同小小辣嘅香料好食啲

3️⃣DESSERT
Yuzu & Umeboshi Curd🍨
食落係似蛋白霜嘅,但無蛋白霜咁痴牙,亦無咁膩,我係徹底被呢塊嘢驚艷到,因為個texture真係好特別,做得好薄,唔會太甜,配雪糕係超夾,亦完滿結束左我嘅Honjo experience❤️

最後餐廳會放一個小箱子係你張枱,而3層係分別裝住唔同嘢嘅,大家又估唔估到有邊3樣嘢呢?💁🏻‍♀️

Tried Honjo's Restaurant Week dinner for a friend's birthday. The menu was off to a strong start with five appetisers for sharing. The edamame "hummus" with seaweed tempura was certainly the wow factor here, while the other starters were also quite excellent. The broccolini tempura captured the vegetable's unique aroma while staying perfectly light and crunchy, contrary to our expectations. The dessert was a gooey and extremely rich matcha lava pudding; slightly on the heavy side but nonetheless a worthy end to an amazing meal. 

The service was every bit as top-notched. The Honjo team were courteous and funny all throughout, and pulled off a really heartwarming birthday surprise. Definitely returning in the near future!

諗住restaurant week網度見評分好似唔錯,就諗住黎試下。但係基本上都十分之普通,無咩大驚喜,最驚喜就係壽司嘅質素係似細舊版嘅超市壽司。牛扒都ok嘅,兩款都係要另外加錢。一款加$88,和牛加$128,但個人認為和牛無咁好食。前菜方面就覺得tuna tartare 同broccolini都算係唔錯的了。 本來我落左單另加生蠔,但佢無黎到,我見又唔特別好食所以都無追喇。另加嘅sashimi方面同佢講左唔要三文魚,但黎到其他壽司都好多三文魚。整體真係唔會介紹大家去,兩位食左千一蚊。甜品嘅味道淡,唔講真係唔知一個係柚子,另外嗰個係抹茶molten cake.

To celebrate the return of dinner dine-in, Honjo offers 90-minute free flow for dinner tasting menu till the end of Feb (exclude Fri & Sat) 🎉🥂Here comes the tasting menu. Saw that the tempura served at next table was nice though


One thing that I have to praise about the restaurant is their good service and also their arrangement for my anniversary celebration 🥰 They gave us a free polaroid photo, a small keychain of their signature robot and a $100 coupon to be used within 1 month at any of pirata group restaurants and also a small message deco when the dessert came


I didnt expect this as I just gave a remark with anniversary when i made a reservation on openrice 💯

Such an amazing assortment for their tasting menu and worth splurging on! They have an amazing matcha lava cake for dessert which is to die for! So rich in matcha flavour with the warm gooey centre pairing so well with their ice cream and it leaves you wanting more. The sashimi assortment is lovely and I especially loved the toro! The cauliflowers with the passion fruit butter tasted exactly like meat (makes me think of a perfect substitute for meat), although I couldn’t taste any truffle but I think it was mixed with the passion fruit flavour to create a meaty taste!! I really liked this dish 🥦

* 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐢- You cant fail crispy salmon teriyaki with lemon juice on top !! It is my FAVE (and also easiest dish) that my bf always makes for me 🥰🥰 It is really tender and inside is slightly uncooked 👌🏼 Love it too but seriously it is super easy to cook this at home 🐟

* 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐮 (Add on $150) nom also signature of Honjo!! Wagyu is thinly sliced and paired with chorizo oil, love the poppy rice on top for texture but overall wasn’t as delicious as others described

* BEST BEST BEST piping hot lava cake with roasted white chocolate, vanilla ice cream and sesame cracker! Can I say how yum this is ???? The matcha flavour is really rich and intense which I love, basically your tongue is in matcha heaven when you eat it!! Also perfect to eat with bit ice cream and the sesame cracker- in the first bite you can taste the rich matcha flavour and then the sweetness of the ice cream comes out, lastly the sesame of cracker brings out the aftertaste!!! 💯

魚生拼盤有三文魚、吞拿魚、白身魚和生蠔。雖然選用普通魚生,但可算顏色鮮豔,是新鮮的,滿有光澤,三文魚也頗肥美。


壽司都係三文魚、赤身和白身魚,味道正常,沒有驚喜,飯量是西式壽司的飯量,所以都幾飽肚。

這三文魚以照燒汁煮理。三文魚大大件,啖啖肉又無骨。三文魚的魚脂,加上甜甜地的照燒汁,吃起來沒有膩口的感覺,若果可以焗到剛剛熟,肉質可更柔軟。

這天婦羅有蝦、有南瓜、茄子、西蘭花和露筍。天婦羅的炸衣很薄,而且炸得不油膩,尤其炸蝦味道鮮味;配上三款不同口味的鹽巴,更有風味;南瓜切得薄薄的,香脆又香甜;西蘭花天婦羅也十分特別,炸得爽脆,內裡還有汁。

甜品拼盤也不少呀!有多款水果和甜點。水果有火龍果、奇異果、菠蘿、士多啤梨和提子。而那檸檬蛋糕口感鬆軟,味道甜香,又沒有太膩口的感覺,ok 啦。


這一天的午餐太豐富了,真的吃不下晚飯了。
