My favourites were the Hamachi (thin sliced raw fish) and the leafy thing (forgot what it’s called)🙈 after having all the appetisers we were already 70% full 😱 We ordered their vegetable tempura out of the restaurant

Highly anticipated restaurant- friends spoke quite highly of this restaurant.
And it did not disappoint!
Appetisers: there were two of each dish with a total of 5 selections so a total of 10 dishes. My favourites were the Hamachi (thin sliced raw fish) and the leafy thing (forgot what it’s called)🙈 after having all the appetisers we were already 70% full 😱
We ordered their vegetable tempura out of the restaurant week menu. Their tempuras matched with 4 types of salt / ponzu tentsuya sauce which was a pleasant surprise! The ponzu sauce made it less oily and refreshing. They have cheese tempura outside of their menu too which is a must try!
Sushi selection of maki and nigiris were only so so. Mains included cauliflower, salmon, ribeye steak and wagyu. I tried all of them and none of them were really surprising. Would have to say the steak was better after being microwaved 😂 originally it was a bit too raw and we ordered medium rare.
They had two desserts one of yuzu and another one of matcha. The matcha lava was definitely our favourite. It’s a hot lava cake with roasted white chocolate, vanilla ice cream and sesame cracker. Everything matched really well tgt and was really rich in flavour definitely for matcha lovers!!
Would DEFINITELY come back again.
