✨前菜包括吞拿魚刺身(+$58)、炸雞和日式菠菜配芝麻醬。幾道前菜最愛的就是那碟菠菜,因為它的芝麻醬很香而且很濃稠!🐟新鮮吞拿魚,入口即溶,可惜個人不太愛吃吞拿魚😂最平平無奇的就是那碟炸雞,店員還推介這道炸雞給我們🤦🏼‍♀️!不過在自行加了檸汁後的炸雞🍋,就變得好吃一點了(港式食法)!哈哈!

主菜方面,可選1份主食配沙律菜或日式炒飯;而我們選了天婦羅拼盤、燒雞和照燒三文魚🙋🏼‍♀️!這家餐廳的燒物真的做得不錯,我的那份燒雞肉🍗,充滿陣陣的香燒味,而且肉質幼嫩,帶點蜜糖的甜味,完全合我口味😍!天婦羅拼盤也很豐富,每件都大大件、很鬆脆,令人超滿足!日式炒飯也是我會推介的,炒得很香脆,加上飯素的「加持」,當然是無得輸啦!(雖然怕胖的我是點了沙律菜。

另外,朋友也加點了2隻新鮮生蠔🦪,看著他們吃得津津有味的樣子,便知道了有多好吃了😂!

這個柚子撻看起來挺精緻👍🏻,一份3件!白色的上層是蛋糖霜,配脆皮撻底; 柚子味道偏酸,脆皮撻底則很鬆化!

有趣的是,結賬時店員會送上這個3層的盒子!上層放的是賬單,我們把信用卡或現金放進去; 中層是餐廳的卡片;底層是日本的櫻花味薄荷糖☺️!值得一提的是餐廳沒有收加一服務費🤩,所以付款時都可以把貼士放入盒子裡,全數會歸於店員的😸!這老闆看來也挺有良心的~👍🏻

It was our first time at Honjo for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised with the dishes and the quality of the sashimi. The presentation of the foods and drinks were impeccable and our server took time to make some suggestions as to the portions and some dishes we could try. Would recommend for a special occasion.

話說wingwing.foodfood最近好掛住之前喺韓國食嘅醬油炸雞,但香港搵唔返嗰隻味,點知喺呢間摩登日本菜餐廳,食到呢一碟令人想一食再食嘅炸雞!新鮮熱辣炸起,每一舊炸雞都沾滿黑糖蒜香醬汁,食落又香又甜又juicy🤤,個面仲有少少沖繩黑糖做點綴,超啱我口味!😚呢間摩登日本菜餐廳,小食同前菜好好味!😚 印象最深刻除咗沖繩黑糖蒜香炸雞,就係呢個三文魚泡芙(Salmon puffs),Tapioca puff好脆,三文魚新鮮,仲加咗信州柚子胡椒同紫蘇,食落超有層次!🥰 烤蛋白柚子撻賣相都好靚。至於主菜嘅牛同魚就無咩記憶點。呢間餐廳平時食每人都要$400以上,之前promotion嘅special menu 真係好抵,最近食過嘅高級餐廳之中,Honjo性價比最高,環境都幾靚呢~😎

呢間摩登日本菜餐廳,小食同前菜好好味!😚 印象最深刻除咗沖繩黑糖蒜香炸雞,就係呢個三文魚泡芙(Salmon puffs),Tapioca puff好脆,三文魚新鮮,仲加咗信州柚子胡椒同紫蘇,食落超有層次!🥰 烤蛋白柚子撻賣相都好靚。至於主菜嘅牛同魚就無咩記憶點。

呢間餐廳平時食每人都要$400以上,之前promotion嘅special menu 真係好抵,最近食過嘅高級餐廳之中,Honjo性價比最高,環境都幾靚呢~😎

First of all, quality of service is as usual which is casual but attentive. I really enjoyed seeing the cultural diversity in their team. On this day, the restaurant was full, with lots of big parties, only divided by small and ineffective dividers on the tables to half heartedly separate them. First of all, quality of service is as usual which is casual but attentive. I really enjoyed seeing the cultural diversity in their team.

On this day, the restaurant was full, with lots of big parties, only divided by small and ineffective dividers on the tables to half heartedly separate them. A couple of groups had too much fun at the expense of other patrons who preferred a slightly less rowdy lunch.

Now the food.
A good selection of starters followed by a decent collection of sashimi and sushi. While the fish quality is not top notch, they made it up with quantity. One could eat as much as one wanted.

For the main course my 2 friends and I ordered teriyaki salmon. Two out of the three were overcooked and tasted like cardboard. Seemed like they were cooked and left unserved for too long. The third one which came later than the first two tasted as it should be. We gave feedback to the server and she thanked us without further action. Based on my experience with Pirata Geoup, the manager would normally come over to enquire further but not this time.

Dessert platter was fruits, matcha sponge cake and mini lemon tarts. Nothing worth writing about.

Side notes - washrooms were clean, very good. No service charge automatically added to the bill and we were reminded several times about this. Maybe Pirata management should add back the 10% if tipping is an issue.

In conclusion, an ok experience this time only. No particular moment of delight to call out.

weekend brunch愛好者重出江湖喇!大胃王最愛粳係buffet喇,呢間openrice評價極高,話係西式日本嘢,好好奇去試左~個日星期六已經下午3點幾去到都仲等左一陣🥶

前菜都幾得意,和牛tartare最好食,同西餐廳啲tartare好唔同,每片都薄身、新鮮,油香油香嘅~刺身壽司雖然係無限量,但質素真心普通所以冇食到好多。
亮點係生蠔,雖然唔算大隻,但勝在新鮮,無限任食抵到爛!我一個人嗌左成15件🙈
主菜中,特別鍾意嘅是一道素食,燒烤椰菜花~加左好多香料勁入味,鹹左啲啲不過好好味!!
甜品種類多,有生果、紅絲絨蛋糕、布丁等,甜品唔算特別好味,但亮點係唔會太甜,食完唔覺得好heavy~

總體來說我覺得openrice讚得太誇張,間餐廳overall還可以啦,食物幾豐盛,一餐食左兩個鐘^_^

Booked dinner to celebrate Father’s Day, I always have high expectations on service due to my hotel background especially if staff have ability to anticipate needs. Lenora is a great ambassador who took care us really well. When knowing my younger daughter have special dietary requirements, she went extra mile to partner with chef to order food for my daughter. As is our first time visit there and is special occasion so she recommended us tasting menu and being patiently introduced the differenc

As is our first time visit there and is special occasion so she recommended us tasting menu and being patiently introduced the differences between a la carte. Her friendly approach made us feel comfortable.

We had the Tasting menu with 11 dosages and the food was fabulous. The dessert really surprised us!

Overall, highly recommend and we will be back!

用OpenRice訂位已經見到有個Summer So Journ Menu, 話星期一至四先有得$448一位,比起佢哋兩個Tasting Menu $580 同埋$980好似抵啲。基本上都試到好多嘢,同埋飽到食唔晒。個Starters係for sharing嘅, 我覺得佢個hummus好好食,配炸紫菜食但係啲紫菜好明顯係炸咗一段時間再翻炸所以偏硬,但係因為hummus太好食個紫菜我都食晒。個waitress介紹食spicy tuna tartare, 我唔係好食到辣嘅吞拿魚味因為俾佢既炸紫蘇葉搶晒風頭,不錯不錯。另外新鮮油甘魚配個汁太濃,搶晒Focus,唔知係咪由金魚唔新鮮要用啲汁冚嗰陣味呢?個芝麻醬菠菜正常,唔算好特別。最普通就係嗰個炸雞,唔凍唔熱唔脆,但係個汁甜甜哋都好易入口。我哋加錢每人$24要生蠔,正常味道。我本身鍾意食生蠔,所以要求比較高。跟住係天婦羅西蘭花配松露豉油,真心佢啲天婦羅做得好好。一碟咁普通感覺好似呃錢嘅菜但係我都食得好開心,同個松露豉油好夾。嚟到壽司,感覺上跟餐叫嘅壽司好普通,好似想質飽你咁。有可能琴日食完間靚嘅壽司特別覺得呢間啲壽司麻麻哋。Li個係teriya

,好熱辣辣咁拎出嚟。不過另外嗰個柚子curd我完全成唔到有滋味,淨係有啲蛋白碎加雪糕。

整體來講環境唔錯,只要唔好坐喺中間張大枱(間左三四個兩人位,感覺太開陽),坐卡位或者bar枱都OK。侍應生非常有禮貌好友耐心咁解釋Menu,不過價錢有少少overpriced for the quality (quantity is fine)。

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! First time in Honjo and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The unlimited wine is to die for. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Japanese’s classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

When I scroll the list of HK restaurant week picking one to go, Honjo caught my eyes. The service of Honjo is great. You are well greeted in the reception and arranged to seat. The renovation is also stylish and modern.But then, about the dish.... I think due to restaurants week setup, we cannot set high standards on the menu. Oyster - The best out of all dishes
And I didn’t go for the wine pairing as it do not look attractive at all. And i ordered a Chablis grand cru to pair with the oyster. And it is great. But the chablis is not cheap but might worth the price.

I might give it another try as I think its not fair to conclude a restaurant with those restaurant week offer, since the additional items seems way better than the other dishes.

Highly anticipated restaurant- friends spoke quite highly of this restaurant.

And it did not disappoint!
Appetisers: there were two of each dish with a total of 5 selections so a total of 10 dishes. My favourites were the Hamachi (thin sliced raw fish) and the leafy thing (forgot what it’s called)🙈 after having all the appetisers we were already 70% full 😱

We ordered their vegetable tempura out of the restaurant week menu. Their tempuras matched with 4 types of salt / ponzu tentsuya sauce which was a pleasant surprise! The ponzu sauce made it less oily and refreshing. They have cheese tempura outside of their menu too which is a must try!

Sushi selection of maki and nigiris were only so so. Mains included cauliflower, salmon, ribeye steak and wagyu. I tried all of them and none of them were really surprising. Would have to say the steak was better after being microwaved 😂 originally it was a bit too raw and we ordered medium rare.

They had two desserts one of yuzu and another one of matcha. The matcha lava was definitely our favourite. It’s a hot lava cake with roasted white chocolate, vanilla ice cream and sesame cracker. Everything matched really well tgt and was really rich in flavour definitely for matcha lovers!!

Would DEFINITELY come back again.
