今日到深水埗黃金商塲買完東西後已是近三時,感覺有點餓了,我倆便特意找一間朋友介紹過的名爲「素年」的素食店,實踐 Green Monday。這店位於福華街,距離黃金商塲不遠,不難找到。食店面積不大,以白色為主顔色,給人一種潔淨舒適的觀感。進入了店内,有如置身於歐洲或日本小店的感覺。餐牌上有午餐和下午茶的選擇,朂後我們選了兩個午餐。~不可能漢堡包 ($128)這個除用上美國硏發的Impossible Burger 植物製漢堡扒做包的餡料外,還配上惹味的洋蔥和美味半溶化的車打芝士。驟眼看這包的賣相和真牛肉製的漢堡的無異,吃起來的時候一時真是難知道是素食。素漢堡扒竟然有牛肉的鮮味和質感,幾可亂真,來自豆血紅蛋白做成素肉餅內的血紅素要記一功。不可不提伴碟的番薯條外脆內軟,甜味適中,非常滋味。整體來說,喜歡吃漢堡包的人, 日後便能找到更健康和更環保的代替品了。~吉列豬扒三文治 ($98)賣相非常吸引,一邊放了伴有意大利陳醋的清綠沙律菜和鮮蕃茄,另一邊放了烘焙過的三文治。三文冶的餡料是用了一種植物製的免治豬肉,炸過後便成外脆內軟的吉列豬扒。這新豬肉 Omnipork 除了吃起來的味道和質感極似豬肉外,據說營養比肉類更好,絕對是未來素食的新方向。此外,餡料內的爽口紫椰菜除了美味外,亦增添了纖維。加入了秘製的醬汁,令吉列豬扒不會太乾,亦加人了特有的味道。這三文治真令人一試難忘!不可不提,我們選了跟餐的熱玄米茶都非常吸引。杯中的粒粒玄米增添了𡁻口,淡淡綠茶葉的味滲入了熱騰騰的水裏,倍覺清香。這個午餐令我們一試難忘。希望不久將來,更多人會為環保盡一分力,保護動物,亦為自己的健康著想,多點吃素。 繼續閱讀

With a growing number of plant based eateries on Hong Kong island, I heard about this place from a coworker who lived in the area. A plant based restaurant in the middle of Sham Shui Po. Curious I went to find it for lunch.Years is located across the street from the big computer mall. It's in a more quieter area than the busy Ap Liu Street section. Even on a weekday, there was a fare number of diners.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge.When I arrived they also had an afternoon tea set menu available. But I wanted lunch so ordered from that.I ordered the Japanese family style meal ($88) and it came with a set drink (with options for upgrades). I just wanted the ice Earl Gray tea. It was quite a large size and yes, no sweetener of any kind was added. It was ok. Just straight tea.There is a bit of a wait time as the set was made to order. This is the Japanese set and it included udon with tofu, miso soup and small dishes. From left top to bottom: fruit jelly, pickles with seaweed, eggplant with nori. From right top to bottom: poached egg with sesame dressing, pumpkin croquette, okra. Portions were larger than I expected. The little dishes of appetizers were more than just a few pieces. The food was good with the right amount of seasoning. The croquette was a standout. Crunchy coating with a creamy filling. Comfortable seating with vegetarian food options in Sham Shui Po. Yes, $88 seems expensive in this area but I've had vegan food on Hong Kong Island and they would charge this for at least $200.  I'll definitely be back and try out their Impossible burger option as well as the  Omnipork tonkatsu as I saw many people order that. 繼續閱讀

因為我早前斷過食,腸胃還在調節中,所以近排都是清淡為主,無意中發現這間位於深水埗新式的素食店,立即拉埋妹妹同媽咪一齊嚟試~~同媽咪食飯無得影咁耐相,講返自己份天婦羅定食$88吧~定食附送玄米茶和麵豉湯,玄米茶超熱到連杯都拎唔起,店員仲要徒手拎XD天婦羅有齊南瓜、茄子、番薯、秋葵、蓮藕等蔬菜,炸粉漿薄身脆卜卜,除了茄子略為吸油外,其他都唔算好油烏冬入口煙韌,上面還有一大塊腐皮,成個set 係好清雅,份量剛好,腸胃沒有太大負擔妹妹吃的是純素,本來想點漢堡的,但因為麵包是交貨的,有蛋呢最後妹妹點了不可能肉醬長通粉$88,並走了巴馬臣芝士~之前吃過Omipork,我們都鐘情Impossible Meat,因為口感與真肉相差不遠。  這裏的咖啡可以加錢轉脫脂奶或植物奶。因為植物奶沒有油脂,比較難拉花,不過呢度都拉得好挺身,高手!餐廳尚在試業,餐牌選擇不算太多,但因為深水埗少見的新式素食,所以都爆場!雖然爆場,但服務態度非常好,店主仲幫我地影左好多相(而且影得幾好)~大家睇返d相都好開心!總結來說有下次,店主比心機! 繼續閱讀

如果食齋,一般都會諗起一啲典型嘅舊式齋,但係深水埗有一間新式嘅齋,某天經過這條路,看到這一間店舖,立刻引起我的興趣,記得這裏原來是一間西餐店,裝修好簡潔,現在已經轉型成為食素的店舖,名稱就簡單叫做「素年Years」。。餐廳的裝修格局和以往西餐一樣,白色的牆壁,令餐廳顯得10分光猛。不過座位之間有點迫呢。。餐牌上的食物選擇不算太多,有日式定食、天婦羅定食、沙律、闊條麵、肉醬長通粉、和兩款漢堡包。除了食飯之外,這裏也10幾款的咖啡呢,有機會可以再來試一試。最理想這裏的咖啡和飲品可以轉成脫脂奶、和燕麥奶呢。天婦羅定食$88南瓜、茄子、番薯、秋葵、蓮藕、烏冬,還附送玄米茶和麵豉湯烏冬入口煙韌,上面還有一大塊腐皮。 天婦羅為例,喜歡蓮藕、秋葵,茄子略為吸油。 麵豉湯與平常看見的不太同, 一試之下原來是甜的麵豉湯, 自我安排為甜品部分。不可能漢堡包$128素食漢堡、火箭菜、車打芝士、洋蔥凍伯爵茶和薯條。本來以為係一個普通嘅漢堡,點知求知欲好強嘅朋友上網一查,發現「無肉的 Impossible Burger 在味道、香味和口感上,都能與傳統漢堡媲美,但相比一般的牛肉漢堡,其製造過程能減少 75% 耗水量、87% 溫室氣體排放量及 95% 土地使用量。」難怪常常聽到人說素食能夠有助環保呢。這一塊無肉的漢堡扒,兩邊被煎香。口感真的很像漢堡扒,上面還鋪上了火箭菜呢,不過沒有醬汁的關係,個人覺得較為乾身。餐廳還試業階段,各方面還有待改進,不過服務態度值得一讚,是一間有誠意的餐廳。 繼續閱讀

As well as food in general, I love Vegetarian food.When I found out about this joint, I decided to go and check it out even though there were no pictures on social media yet.YEARS is located in SSP, the exact spot where NEW ORDER used to be.Inside, you will find a modern setting and at the far end you will see cartons of OATLY on the shelf.The current food menu which includes drinks.Drinks menu:Clearly the burger was my pick because of the Impossible Patty which came with my favourite iced Earl Grey Tea without any extra charges.I have had so many Impossible burgers so far which were all good but this one is my favourite because it is simple and not overwhelmed by strong sauces.I got to taste the Impossible patty properly which was paired with delicious cheese, balsamic and arugula leaves which all worked in harmony.The Impossible patty was definitely beefy in taste and texture, it reminded me of eating sweetbread as it was quite velvety yet it had a lovely crispy edge where it got seared.The bun they sourced was a good one as it was soft and pillowly without any sweetness.The fries were to my liking as they were crispy on the outside and starchy in the middle.Finished with iced Earl Grey which made my day as it had a lovely fragrant aroma that was not artificial and I appreciate how it wasn't sweetened by default.I look forward to coming back as I'm sure they will have some new creations.  繼續閱讀
