27-9-07, dinner with husband and brother - 3 disappointing meagre set dinners with a half bottle of cheapest wine, billed for HK$1400 (after using a $500 coupon). Lamb chop over-cooked; 5 small segments of squid as a main dish was ridiculous. Slow service. The men had a lot of bread, and had won-ton noodles after this dinner. Will not visit again.

-不過友人就覺得香草味太濃,唔多鍾意

5a)鮮番茄伴雜肉丸配意式扁麵
-絶對要讚linguine的咬口,好al dente,而且鮮番茄汁正是我的favorite,微酸中帶小甜
-但個肉丸d質感好似實咗小小,唔多juicy,個人反而覺得宜x傢x的瑞典肉丸仲正

5b)傳統意式香草醬千層麵
-全碟綠色的香草汁
-亦讚lasagna的咬口,煙靭,good

6a)西西里燴八爪魚配青豆蓉
-全碟是深啡/紫色,賣相麻麻,但八爪魚燴得好腍,亦有鮮味,只是略鹹咗d
-友人嫌個汁好似1"pat"嘢咁(因個汁混有八爪魚細鬚切粒,還有其他唔知咩嘢1齊煮),不過味道無問題

6b)香燒羊扒黑松露菌汁
-要了7成熟,有2小件
-羊味是有但好似overcook咗,肉質有d實

7)自製芝士脆蛋白配朱古力及乾果x 2
-2片焗蛋白夾住d nuts做成的蓉
-蛋白是甜,但仍可接受因這款甜品的特式是嗜甜
-但友人唔知點解好抗拒中間的nuts蓉,話d味好怪,放棄了
-但我ok喎

8)精選甜點x 2
-有2個很細的曲奇物體
-但有點"求奇"咗d,味道又唔香牛油味,亦唔鬆化
-no good

9)餐飲x 2
-友人杯凍檸茶被批評無茶味,簡單嘢做出咁,有d駭人
-我的decaf latte ok

-食物只有2-3碟出色,如果以正價嚟食,這個水平比我想像中差,但半價的話,就ok,有咁多道菜

-另外要讚是上菜是1道道咁上,服務亦很好,prompt同nice

-之後為餐廳填回1份意見書,希望日後食物質素有進步啦

要在老銅開飯,見有信用卡優惠,便來這家餐廳一試。晚上九時許到達,顧客不多,加上檯與檯之間有距離,環境清靜,是傾計的好地方。點了六道菜的set dinner,冷頭盤是巴馬火腿配哈蜜瓜,火腿質素麻麻,有股臊味。熱頭盤好像叫什麼蝦沙律之類,其實是蝦配少許菜再澆上醬汁,味道也可以。南瓜忌廉湯的質感不夠rich,我覺得可以多放些南瓜。Pasta有兩款選擇,蝦配意粉卷那醬汁的味道不錯,但整體感覺跟之前的頭盤相似,而且意粉卷太硬;另一款是意大利雜肉雲吞配香草汁,雲吞就軟硬適中,可惜那餡料像又鬆散又無味的肉碎。主菜可揀鴨胸或煎鱸魚伴帶子,大家都對前者沒興趣,只好挑後者。魚肉本身只屬一般,上面有層麵包糠碎,乾巴巴的,不香又不脆,有點畫蛇添足之感。配菜用了大量青豆,又是另一敗筆,青豆的受歡迎程度本就不高,予人感覺亦較為寒酸。甜品方面,tiramisu的味道偏淡,幸好質感尚算幼滑;雜莓mousse據報不俗。這個set dinner整體水準只屬一般,有半價優惠的話就還可以(不計酒水平均消費$265)。餐廳的環境及服務比食物優勝,有需要者或有需要時,可對號入座。

Other readers have given fair & objective comment; though space not so big, their table settings are very comfortable, quite spacious. We arrived around 7pm, and were the second occupied out of their ~12 tables(on a Thu), but around 8:30pm nearly all tables are seated. Ordered pan fried foie gras(all food forgot the exact names la), $198 but portion was enough for 2 people to share. Then Lamb Chop(3 pieces) (~$300) with some side dishes; well personally I don't fancy lamb chop too much(my wife loves it), but this is certainly the best lamb chop I'd even had, very tender, juicy & the specific 'lamb scent' is just suitable to remind you this is fine lamb chops.

We then had a course named something like "whole lobster w/spicy sauces & risotto" (~$400); again, we can see the chef have given us a whole lobster(don't expect it like those you have in a chinese restaurant for a 12 person table), chopped in pieces which are convenient to serve, both of us think this is the freshest lobster we'd have, normally I don't think lobster should come together with a spicy sauce, but this sauce just delights the whole dish.

Later on a nice waiter came around to have some chat, he told us that they have just changed a new chef who is coming from Venice, and he has designed this lobster dish.

Finally we ordered a "wildberry cold cake" ($98), this is actually a kind of mousse cake & we can taste the sweet scents from fresh fruits.

Overall this Italian restaurant is well deserved to be recommended for some special occasions!

Set lunch pretty good value. Set up in a luxurious and spacious basement room. It's a pity they moved the restaurant to basement of hotel, but although there is no more view, setting remains comfortable and luxurious.Antipasti buffet starters simple and good. Antipasti buffet starters simple and good. Salads made with high quality ingredients. Particularly notable the whole leg of ham sliced to order. Mozarella in mixed salad also particularly worth noting.

Pasta course all-round great. Al dente texture done very well with a variety of fresh pasta (linguine, capellini, fusilli, cannelloni) pared with a choice of sauces (white seafood, carbonara, puttanesca etc).

For mains, steak was most excellent. Very high quality meat, well cooked, well seasoned and texture was with bite. Veal was so-so, risotto underneath undercooked. Lamb and fish mains were also well received, though I did not try myself.

Desserts slightly weak. Ricotta cheesecake not as fragrant / cheesy as should be. Ice creams very industrial grade. Other cakes mediocre. Creme brulee very excellent, smooth and not cloying, with subtle addition of surprise ingredient coconut.

06年最後一但brunch同細佬及其女友一齊呢度食, 皆因中銀信用卡有折.坦白講選擇不是十分之多, 但貴價既parma ham, mozarella, 都有, 所以200蚊鬆價錢都算OK.另外每人都有一個main –有魚, 有牛, 有羊. 其中羊最好食.甜品, 有幾款批同cake, 味道OK, 但有失望既係個Gelato, 因覺得並不夠香濃, 味道偏淡.總括而言, 係唔錯, 坐得舒服, 服務不俗, 但煮意粉個廚師唔係成日見人又落錯料, 呢樣就要改善喇!

第二道菜是鮮蟹肉南瓜忌廉湯。湯有著濃郁的南瓜甜香,味道不錯,若蟹肉的鮮味再突出些會更好。
 
第三道菜是巴馬鵝肉伴鵝肝忌廉意大利飯。意大利飯很有咬口,而且味道精緻可口,比brunch的pasta好吃許多。份量較小,很容易就清了碟!
 
在吃肉類主菜前,先有意大利香草汽酒雪葩。香草與雪葩是個很清新的配搭,讓人口味一清,絕對是佳作。
 
第五道是肉類主菜,可選帶子鱸魚、炭燒牛柳或是夜廚師精選-兔肉;飲白酒的我揀了鱸魚,飲紅酒的朋友則揀兔肉。必須承認,在眾多食物中主菜是比較弱的,不但賣相平庸,味道也未見突出;比較之下,如果不討厭濃烈的橄欖味,兔肉會較為好吃。
 
第六道菜是甜品,鮮草莓配忌廉及陳年黑醋汁或意大利軟芝士蛋糕選一。我當然揀後者,份量竟然頗大,芝士味濃郁很美味,可惜酒味欠奉,不夠完美。
 
最後是精選的曲奇與朱古力,精巧而味道不錯,加上一杯充滿肉桂香的Cappuccino,十分滿足。
 
每一道菜份量不大,我反而幾欣賞,認為可以細味食物的味道。何況每檯有一大籃新鮮麵包,其實怎會不夠飽呢?
 
就這樣慢慢吃、慢慢談,不知不覺三小時飛逝。很美好的經歷,多謝!

Last time I went there for a wedding banquet, when it was still at the top floor...The view was excellent!Becoz of the renovation, they moved to basement, the environment is still cozy though. I think due to this reason, they provide many special offers to different credit cards, I ordered the menu same as the previous comment..Though it's at half-price, the food is still up to their standard. The prosecco is best sparkling wine I've ever had (even better than champagne at $600 retail price). I

I found their food is quite different from Sabatini, so very difficult to compare, maybe the cooking method was influenced by different part of Italy?

因信用卡promotion, 叫左原價($4xx/person)但現在只需半價既six course dinner (很抵呀!)

是夜客人只得三四枱, waiter算有禮唔hardsell, 給人感覺舒服鬆容.

叫左二杯香檳, 慶祝下嘛, hehe~~~

先來麵包籃, 有三款包, 分別係薄脆, foccacia and 法包, 脆脆最好吃, 咸咸香香, 重暖烘烘的, foccacia 外脆內軟, 法包比較普通.

1. beef carpacio with cheese and 火箭菜, 薄薄的生牛肉片嫩滑, 夾着甘香的火箭菜, 咸香的芝士, 清甜的cherry tomato, 加上olive oil, 簡值是一道開胃前菜.

2. 香煎鵝肝, 汁香, 鵝肝外脆內嫩, 唔膩, 夾埋墊底既toast一起吃增加口感, 吃埋伴碟既二粒raspberry可減低油膩感.

3. 雜菜湯- 清清的, 有薯仔粒, 紅蘿蔔粒, 西芹粒and 有香草.

4. 蕃茄龍蝦linguine, 很細portion, sauce很香濃蕃茄味, 薑餅人嫌意粉唔夠al dente 同過硬.

5. main course 我要左fried sea bass, 薑餅人要左lamb chop, 鱸魚煎得幾香唔油, 皮有Dseasoning and herbs, 肉都算嫩, sauce有D酸微微幾開胃, asparagus青嫩無渣, 帶子細粒, 少許overcooked, 無乜鮮味.

lamb chop 要五成熟, 但羊香唔夠, 又唔夠嫩.

兩個主菜反而失色...sabatini這方面比較出色.

6. Dessert有兩款, warm choculate cake and tiramisu, 朱古力心太軟一切朱古力一湧而出, 但朱古力不是十分香濃.

tiramisu用碗上, 偏硬, 唔夠soft, 咖啡洒味唔太出.

7. 餐茶我要lemon tea, 薑餅人要coffee

8. Petit Fours, 有cookies and choculate, both are quite good and rich in butter taste, 滿足哂我吃甜點既欲望.

Total: $7xx, 算抵, 也感滿意.

遲些等它搬回裝修好既上層想再來試試.

希望同薑餅人可永遠享受quality of life!

人生在世,間唔中應該俾自己嘆一嘆;上週末,就獎賞自己去食左餐豐富的brunch~ Regal(雖自稱五星)當然唔可以同Pennisula/洲際同日而語,與Sheraton甚至屯門黃金海岸酒店都差好遠~ 不過位於31/F o既Zeffirino有高層優勢,餐廳裝潢亦比大堂好,古典而舒適,感氛幾好~  當然,最緊要係食物。首先每檯都有一籃新鮮麵包籃,賣相討好,味道中上,配搭意大利黑醋認真唔錯~ 然後有antipasti buffet,有多款ham、salmon、salad等;ham唔夠新鮮,salad就幾好,其中有款蕃茄mozzearella同海鮮salad幾得我歡心~ 餐廳又有即叫即製pasta,卻原來味道極差,不試也罷! 最後試dessert buffet,平均水準幾好,其中creme bulee & Tiramisu令人有驚喜~ 整體食物合乎預期,飲埋杯咖啡,飽哂滿足哂~ 服務唔錯(雖然都係應份),令成餐食得好舒服。同意依度未有五星級水準,之不過,付出3-4星價錢($198+10%),何苦期望過高?知足,人先會常樂嘛~

At 1 week before the scheduled date, I went to there at the late afternoon (about 3pm). The waiteress is very patient and introduced about the environment and dishes to me. I think the price is reasonable (in the presence of good night view, romantic atmosphere and patient service). So, I ordered a 2-person table few days before.

At the scheduled date, I brought a dozen of rose at afternoon to restaurant and ask to keep at there. The waiteress is helpful and kept the flower in good condition (after an afternoon with a movie). At last, I took my gf to there. The staff kept the secret also.

The set dinner has 7 things with one cup of tea. Soup is placed at first and the other followed. Although the style and standard are made at standard, the atomsphere is warm and we enjoy the night very much. The service is good and we ate the food in a relaxed manner. At last, the waiter brought my flower with the dessert (as planned) and my girl friend can listen with me about our future plan ...

At last, the waiteress help us in taking some photo, in order to memorize such unqiue night.

In conclusion, I recommend the restaurant to you if planning to have a warm night. Certainly, I will go to there again at certain anniversy.
