麵包分3種, 唔知叫咩名, 只知道有軟有硬嘅麵包, 仲有一款係脆脆地好似餅乾咁~ 全部麵包到係微暖, 每一款都幾好食, 好有麵粉香, 亦好鬆化~ 個人喜好軟淋淋嘅香草包, 咬落夠soft, 又滲出一種清幽嘅麵包香~ 點麵包有2隻醬, 分別係pesto同tomato sauce, 都好好味~ 仲可以點傳統嘅橄欖油黑醋食, 一樣美味~

自助頭盤嘅款式都有好多, 大多數都係凍食~ 好食嘅有燒雜菌甜椒, 燒得香軟多汁、parma ham現切上枱, 鮮甜味美、煙三文魚肉嫩油潤, 配鬆化多士一流、意式香草羊肉丸有咬口、仲有個cheese platter, 不論淨食或配蜜糖或jam亦香且濃~ 其他仲有各式沙律、燒牛肉、buffalo cheese拼番茄等, 但係為咗唔好食咁飽食唔到主菜, 每樣都係試一試就好~

今日嘅餐湯係洋蔥湯~ 此意大利式洋蔥湯比一般嘅黑, 平時接觸到嘅洋蔥湯應該都會係清d似蔬菜湯, 但係呢個味道好濃, 唔知仲落咗d乜搞到咁黑, 洋蔥份量好多而且煲到好淋, 亦都比較杰~ 味道係幾好味, 但係感覺好似濃得滯… 湯上嘅麵包粒挑咗花, 都幾有心思~

貴為Zeffirino Signature Main Course佢都總算無令我失望~ 羊架要咗6成熟, 都大致做到! 切開羊架, 內裡羊肉係呈粉紅色, 鮮嫩得嚟帶少許羶味, 本身肉味已經好濃郁. 點少許黑松露忌廉汁食, 濃厚肉味中又滲出菌香. 其實羊架同松露兩者本身都好濃味, 兩樣夾埋有少少搶味但又互相突顯對方味道~ 好有趣! 配菜嘅薯角烤得乾身香脆, 薯肉豐富, 好味!

甜品放喺自助頭盤隔離, 好多款式, 都以細細碟bite size奉上~ chocolate mousse cake濃香厚實, 係我喜歡嘅質地、tiramisu芝士超軟滑, 咖啡酒香並重, 狂食、panna cotta奶香幼滑, 仲食到一粒粒雲尼拿籽, 正、crème brulee比層黑漆漆嘅焦糖封住, 有點過甜, 但蛋味香濃、仲有多款新鮮生果、曲奇餅、朱古力都有齊! 曲奇餅夠甜又夠熱, 朱古力果仁味道濃, 全部都好好食! 另外一邊仲有個雪糕櫃, 有4款自家製Gelato, 有咖啡, 芒果, 焦糖同士多啤梨~ 正呀好味, 食咗好多, 尤其咖啡同焦糖味最好食~! 此時完全冇人, 可每一樣都係攞少少試下先, 之後就可以肆無忌憚咁食~ 任食唔嬲!

整餐都好好味呀! 仲要我地好似包咗場咁, 環境又靜又夠光猛, 舒適地嘆足2 個半鐘semi-buffet~ 雖然近看有d舊樓唔太好睇, 不過遠眺有維園以及維港, 視野都幾寬廣~ 係唔明點解假日中午都冇人食~ 又可能冇人啦, waiter service都幾好~ 好一個優優閒閒嘅週月慶祝午餐~!

同朋友ordered 左個tasting menu, 一人一份既 9-course.因為太耐, 真係唔記得左某d, 但印象十分好食由service, 到出菜既時間, 都非常恰當,每道菜的次序是安排過的, 味就由淡到濃, 有pasta with lobster sauce, pasta 煮得岩岩好, 夠chewy, lobster sauce 像吃著啖啖lobster肉, 超水準! 中間黎左杯有alcohol 既serbet, 酸酸地清一清個味蕾, 然後再黎個lamb, 是over medium的, 但入味tender,.仲有幾個courses..全部好食!最後嗌左杯mocha, 朱古力味香而濃但不失咖啡之香, 滑而濃郁, 估唔到連飲品都有水準!9-course tasting menu 食到超飽Waiter 仲會埋黎問d 野食滿唔滿意, 服務超好!個view 係居高臨下, 燈飾一覽無遺。價錢係貴, 但是值得!

因為太耐, 真係唔記得左某d, 但印象十分好食

由service, 到出菜既時間, 都非常恰當,

中間黎左杯有alcohol 既serbet,
酸酸地清一清個味蕾, 然後再黎個lamb, 是over medium的, 但入味tender,.

仲有幾個courses..全部好食!

最後嗌左杯mocha, 朱古力味香而濃但不失咖啡之香, 滑而濃郁, 估唔到連飲品都有水準!

個view 係居高臨下, 燈飾一覽無遺。

所有野唔會因為55mins 而差左.

Main Course:[Chicken Breast 同 Lobster
chicken breast: 好滑 無over cook 到, 淡淡ga雞肉味配個corn & pepper sauce 好light, 一d 都唔heavy, 女仔食一流
lobster: 似港式上湯焗龍蝦, 但無跟湯上

我食左一小塊後, 已經比男朋友幾啖ko左, 佢話龍蝦味鮮甜, 意式既sauce香但唔會搶左龍蝦既鮮甜, 肉質爽脆唔鞋口

Dessert: 食得太多唔係好想食, 但鬼仔waiter 極力推介下食左佢地ga homemake ice-cream (ok 好濃, 仲有一少粒一少粒既果仁係入面增加口感. 我食既係栗子, 果仁 同 杏仁)
之後男朋友又攞左d 杯上ga chocolate mousse 同 tiramisu.
chocolate mousse 同一殷既差唔多, 但個tiramisu就不得了啦, 好多酒好濕.... 食完後好醉呀 (講笑)

全單有 15% (未計加一) ok 抵la, 但好耐先一次 ok la


值得一提, serve 我地果鬼仔waiter 超nice, 又talkative (識少少中文 tum得我地好開心)
下次相約一班女仕再去睇靚仔waiter

Zeffirino's has been around a while - I haven't been back in a number of years. The decor is the same - tall ceilings, great views overlooking Causeway Bay, but just a tad tired. But the comfy chairs, and the nice generous space is a nice place to enjoy quiet conversation (the live singer isn't bad and her rendition is not so that it's in your face). I was still in a bind - tummy wise - and advised by the doctor not to push it. But I still stuck to signature dishes, which coincidentally feat

I was still in a bind - tummy wise - and advised by the doctor not to push it. But I still stuck to signature dishes, which coincidentally features their house special pesto.

The Ministrone soup turned up green, laced with the pesto, and was surprisingly comforting and tasty. Carefully executed to not take into much oil from the pesto, it was a nice vegetable based stock and garnished with a little crouton over the top.

My pasta as a "paffurello" (maybe puff in Italian) was a delicious ravioli stuffed with mixed meat in a pesto cream sauce. The pesto cream was slightly on the creamy side and I would have preferred a little more of the pesto to come through instead of being engulfed in cream. But overall, pleasant and the rolled parmesan crisp over the top was a very nice touch.

My tiramisu was prettily served in a martini glass but I would have fancied more lady's fingers soaked in coffee. The mascarpone was delightful but was a bit too much after my pesto cream. But if you like your cheese and cream, this one's for you.

今年生日很開心....因終於能到此餐廳品嚐一下生牛肉...安排WINDOW 位置..背後便是LIVE MUSIC....鋼琴加女主唱...從高望下銅鑼灣鬧市...完全忘掉C.W.B 的緊張氣氛~食物最吸引我們是Pan-fried Goose Liver with Strawberry Sauce..煎鵝肝...從前我不愛內臟食物...但在不知不覺下愛上了鵝肝...我口味轉了...或許是煮的很出色...另我回味才令我愛上它外煎得香脆..入口即溶再配上生果汁做SAUCE...清而不膩...Master Chef “Catch of The Day”是帶子扒...一個字"鮮"Grilled Lamb Chops with Truffle and Gravy Cream Sauce於老公切了少許試食...熟而不硬....很欣賞今晚的菜式

因上次留下了小女子的email, 所以在easter前收到她們做假日brunch( 即星期六都有brunch 做)promotion的介紹,折左連任飲sparking wine $210, 好底食, 而且我又對意菜情有獨鍾, 於是拉埋個fren 未到11.30就去.waiter安排了張window table比我地, view完全一流再加上天朗氣清...大蝦, 青口, parma ham, 凍蟹連同數之不盡的意大利前菜, 再加一個main course, 真係實在滿足到死啊...

I went to the rooftop restaurant with my wife celebrating New Year on 1 January.The dinner went very well with good food, good view and good service. Food is very Italian - with all a la carte items picked from 20 regions in Italy, couldn't try them all and therefore we took the set dinner with some signature dishes. Parma Ham and traditional pasta with Lobster were simple and original and tasted great. Particularly impressed us was the chocolate cake dessert. Original price is a bit above avera

Original price is a bit above average but if you are smart, check it out with the staff on which credit card will give you the best offer.

Will certainly come back for more original Italian taste.

整體ok, 我想過近200元一個brunch都算合格, 用膳時間方面可以延長多1個小時就好喇. 它們都是一個邊食邊傾談的好地方.

The food here is absolutely appalling for an Italian restaurant, with a price that does not justify the expectations. Even Spaghetti House is better than here.
The so called Tasting Menu with around 4-5 dishes for nearly HKD $700 was one of the worst Italian meals I've ever eaten in my life in the countries I've been to - anyone that suggests this restaurant to anyone must be out of their minds. Even Fat Angelo's is way better than here. Wished I had taken photos as evidence of how crap this place is:

Bread Basket to start off with - Not bad, a bit warm and the garlic-herb bread with some over baked Pita bread type of bread, can be eaten with either Olive Oil or Olive Oil + Balsamic Vinegar, or they also supply you with some type of Capsicum paste or Pesto paste. Nothing fancy, but a decent start to the meal.
1) Chacuterie Starter Plate - consisting of a few slices of Parma Ham (quite good actually, but not attributed to the chef, rather than the maker of the ham), other sliced salami like meat (too hard and inappropriate for this dish), some type of Pate on Toast was served which does not have much complexity, plus a few pieces of simple salad leaves.
Very disappointing and old school type of cold meat platter.
2) Beetroot Ravioli with Butter Sauce - Probably the best dish of the night but still below average. Barely 3-4 pieces of ultra small ravioli pastas filled with nothing but overly sweet beetroot puree. 2 of the raviolis were topped with fried Taragon leaves which kind of went well with the Buttery reduction sauce. However this dish is so simple anyone could have made it, and by no means was it even approaching good. Absolutely bland.
3) Can't remember why type of fish it was as wasn't paying attention, but it was way over-herbed using dried mixed herbs, plus slightly overcooked. Again, very below-average in both execution as well as imagination, but that's not the worst of the night. Well come to the nightmare main courses.
4) Sorbet - Some kind of icy sorbet guessing related to berries was given as a palate cleanser before the main course. Overly syrupy and very sweet, not to mention so icy that it was like a 'slurpy'. It even has a smell like a detergent, so it was a clue that it is not made from fresh fruits.
Never had a worst palate cleanser in my life, full stop. The ice and the sweet flavour weren't doing the palate any good, it was just making me want to throw up.
Haven't they ever made a smooth Gelati or Sorbet in their life before? They need to invest in one of those Ice/Gelati shaving machines that Caprice has.

5) Main Course - A choice of Veal cutlet or Pigeon:
Veal - Deep fried just like a Schnitzel when the menu DID NOT MENTION this is the cooking method. Here it is simply stuffed with cheese and from my cooking experience, this version was cooked in too little oil in too high a temperature, meaning the meat has darkened, the batter would have stank of oil. This alone suggests the chefs here are below average in training, as well as imagination.
This type of dish again could be cooked better by just any home cook, even if triple-blind folded. Absolutely RUBBISH.
Pigeon - Way way way too overcooked, the skin was tough, some of the meat under had already been cooked to the point of being bruised, the meat was even more tougher. Had absolutely no taste. Fills like eating Pigeon that has just been left in the oven for 30 minutes then taken out again with no sort of culinary imagination whatsoever. What a disgraceful dish.
Served on the side with barely slivers of oily potato, overly-herbed with the same dried supermarket type of mixed Italian herbs that had killed the previous fish dish. It was exactly the same taste. Fine, never mind this but wow - the potatoes were so boringly cooked they were just pan-fried with herbs. That's it. They were so soggy, oil was dripping from the soaked potatoes.
Absolutely disgusting, both the Pigeon dish as well as the Veal Schnitzel dish.
6) Dessert - Must admit I did not even really read the menu so had no idea of what to expect from the dessert. We were served a very strange tasting Pastry like tube containing some kind of cream, possible Mascapone, with dried green and red fruits, the same ones you will find in an Italian Cassata. In the background there were traces of nuts and spices taste, something along the line of Cardamom or Nutmeg, etc?
No comments on this dessert as nobody understood it, plus it was served at room temperature as well which possibly would have been better if the custardy filling was slightly colder.
All in all - this restaurant is highly over-rated and way over-priced. Service however was very commendable and credit must be given where its due, it was highly professional.
The food however, is not professional at all.
From my point of view, if the chefs cannot even understand how bad their food is at this current stage, it is highly unlikely they will even had the scope to improve in the future as the base they're starting from is unbelievably bad.
The Tasting Menu here trying to emulate but is 100% opposite to what Robuchon has been able to achieve in his many restaurant chains. They seriously should fire the chefs here, Gordon Ramsay would have thrown them out of the building by my imagination.

When we made the reservations, we already knew we are going to have the 8-course dinner set. But when we arrived there and were seated, the head waiter didn't even give us the menu, he just briefly told us what was in the menu! And of course when he took our order, we totally forgot what the choices were. He had to repeat and repeat for us. This is very unprofessional!This is what I feel about their food:1) The champagne and house wine were ok2) Beef tartar - tastes ok3) Parma ham with melon

This is what I feel about their food:

1) The champagne and house wine were ok
2) Beef tartar - tastes ok
3) Parma ham with melon - tastes ok
4) Italian Vegetable soup with herb - not hot at all, and the taste is very dull!
5) Lobster fettucine - the lobster tastes ok but again the whole dish is not hot!!
6) Lemon sorbet - very refreshing, tastes good!
7) Baked sea bass with scallops - The apperance of this dish is ugly!! Using a big tinfoil as the plate to carry the sea bass and scallops! Once again, the dish is not hot!
8) Dessert plate- Tiramisu, strawberries and Napoleon - Tiramisu tastes too bitter, Napoleon and strawberries are good.
9) Coffee or Tea - I ordered Earl Grey tea and the tea doesn't taste like Earl Grey, they had given me the wrong tea!

Overall, the environment of the restaurant is very nice, but the food quality is not up to standard.

我帶了 6 枝酒去, 開了 4 枝。我們 30 人, 部長 "優惠" order 1 bottle free 1 corkage 結果叫 4 枝酒 free 自己另外4 枝酒開瓶費。否則開瓶費 $250/bottle !!!

剩下2 枝酒, 如不是本人折返, 部長才 "猛然醒起" 比返我, 否則就 "送" 了給"黑店"

Parking 方面, 部長話我地原本只有 3 space, 佢"優惠"比 6 spaces! (30 人!) 可泊 Regal hotel 2 hours, 超出2h, $600 泊一句鐘 (!!!)
隔離停車場 $20/hour

唯一讚是 Italian Chef, 食物水準很高 (one of the best among Italian food in HK), 好好味, 景觀豐富 (racecourse + Victoria harbor) 仲有一流鋼琴伴奏
!
Appetizer: Parma ham with melon
Soup: Lobster with black truffle or Vegetable soup
Main dish: lamb chop or pasta with lobster and tomato or lobster with seafood platter
Dessert: Tiramisu

不過比得呢個價錢可以吃得吏好 (Lobster 好細隻, 似"老虎蝦" 多D, 一口吃完)

Anniversary dinner venue.. we took a 6 course dinner set around $680 ... together with a bottle of wine around $380 and a cocktail $68. The food was okay but not fantastic, however the waiter who served us has a cold with a sniffling nose and my husband now has a running nose this morning. Should not let a sick staff work in a restaurant! The atmosphere is very good and service is not bad on the whole. The bottle of wine was not chilled when first taken out. The bottle of wine was not chilled when first taken out. Also, when we requested the courses to come a bit later each time, one waiter didnt understand what we were saying (my husband is Australian) but didnt respond or ask, to be sure I made another request 5 mins later in Cantonese to another waiter, unfortunately he told us the chef has already prepared the food and our next dish was delivered again immediately after we finish the previous course.

Worst is when we paid with our Citibank platinum card which we were told we will enjoy a 78% discount, maybe the atmosphere was a bit dark, when we got home this morning, we realized we were given only 10%. Admittedly, it was our fault, we didnt check because the waiter said to us, 'you have already been given the 20% discount.. ' obviously he didnt look at the bill either. We trusted him!! For all the food we had (see above), our bill came to HK$1822 after the supposedly given 78% discount, I just dont seem to be able to work it out!

平日這裡會做半自助的午餐,是日轉了做全自助,用幾間銀行的白金咭還有78折,仲有飲品一杯,咁食物會係點?雖然之前在尖沙咀店的經驗印象不錯,但又一次的事實證明,係好唔掂的。周日的午市,臨時訂位也有位的,已有一點不祥的預兆。上來一看,果然陣容很一般:Antipasta有好幾款,賣相也一般,味道亦不好,有好幾款也沒有什麼味道的,不知在搞什麼;風乾火腿一款,其他什麼火腿也沒有了,一時間也以為佢未拿出來,原來是獨沽一味。配哈密瓜吃,算是正常味道,吃得最多的一款前菜;澱粉質主菜是白汁三文魚蝴蝶粉、肉醬螺絲粉及肉醬闊條麵,俱預熱在暖窩中,單看已不想吃;肉類主菜只得兩款,忌廉汁龍利柳跟燒牛肉,俱乏善可陳,尤其是後者,只得兩小件,切起來又好像是熟熟的,只聊勝於無;芝士盤只得硬芝士及半硬芝士兩款,不說也不知是在吃意大利菜。沒有任何生果可配,只有幾粒不太脆的核桃,及蜜糖;湯反而不錯,也是得一款選擇,是忌廉南瓜湯。卻是幾濃郁,又香甜,算是不錯的了。甜品也只得幾款,分別是意式奶凍、Tiramisu、橙味蛋糕及朱古力蛋糕。幾款吃勻,意式奶凍口感像啫喱,魚膠下得太多了,云呢拿籽又聚在底部,我做得還比這裡好。Tiram

侍應的服務很一般,有幾個也是沒精打彩的,拿杯熱飲也都手震震,以酒店準備來說,是水準以下。亦見總廚Marco Torregrosso走出來循場,一般的大廚現身,也是對自家食物水準有信心的表現,但是日的食物水準,如斯糟糕,行出來循場,想給人擲雞蛋嗎?
連飲品,埋單每位二百二十左右,不是貴,但總不能這樣差的,希望只是假期的自助餐才如此吧!

唯一好處,就是環境很好,陽光自落地玻璃窗透進來,也居高臨下,座落其中,很舒服。如同文藍月所言,「有需要者或有需要時,可對號入座」。

不嬲對富豪酒店嘅餐廳冇乜好感, 所以好似從來都無去過食野. 之前有朋友話佢張唔知乜乜咭有Promotion, 一個六道菜原價$538嘅Dinner Set減至$388, 問我有冇興趣試. 講真一聽到係呢間野就真係冇乜興趣, 不過間唔中我都會貪得意冒下險, 二來朋友之前揾我食果幾間餐廳都唔錯, 大家又一排無出來食飯, 咁就博一博啦! 咁結果呢? 果6道佢地口中嘅Signature Dishes, 食完我對Signature的定義有咗嶄新嘅體會. 果6道佢地口中嘅Signature Dishes, 食完我對Signature的定義有咗嶄新嘅體會. Signature原來可以解"有代表性地普逼", "招牌地難食", "推介地揾笨"...

全晚最精彩嘅一道菜, 就係Main Course 2選一嘅香焗3文魚蓉爐魚柳配白酒汁, 呢個截對Signature到令人驚訝, 而且享受過程極度有趣, 我直頭鐘意食到要叫個厨出來, 詳情下面再作分享.

1)跟餐送Sparkling Wine一杯, 正正常常成個Set呢個最好!

2)暖八爪魚拌墨魚+意式青瓜沙律 - 八瓜魚同墨魚幾爽嫩, 但好似冇乜味咁.

3)意大利巴馬火腿配香瓜 - 呢個ok, 巴馬火腿咸香軟熟(咁唔洗煮都唔會衰得去邊...)

4)意式香草雜菜湯 - 温温吞吞, 冇乜香草味, 其實, 係冇乜味....佢...令我諗起Goldlion個綠豆湯...唔知以為果邊個厨過咗檔!

5)新鮮龍蝦配自製闊條麵及蕃茄汁 - 我覺得佢呢個中文名譯得好差, 講到龍蝦係主角咁, 其實成碟得果一兩舊, 仲要勁"的式".其餘果幾粒係Baby Shrimps來的. 個自製闊條麵粉粉地咁, 又煮得唔夠Al Dente, 唯獨是個汁唔錯, 幾香龍蝦味.

6)香燒羊扒配黑松露菌汁 - 似煎多D. 羊扒肉嫩但唔juicy, 黑松露菌汁唔香. 似磨菇汁多d.

7)香焗3文魚蓉爐魚配白酒汁 - 呢個係全晚高潮位:

我個人都幾受得腥, 但佢竟然腥到我冇法接受, 更何況佢根本唔應該咁腥的!

個三文魚蓉腥小小我都可以接受同理解, 但連鱸魚都係咁我就真係出煙

佢上面果層話就話係Salmom Mousse, 但質感似膠拖鞋

下面果層就又霉又過火.

講真我食咗一啖真係食唔到要停手, 同埋想請Waitress同厨房交待一下. 點知我朋友猛話頂得住頂得住就食咗成半. 佢本來繼續話頂得順頂得順想清埋佢, 但我覺得舊魚咁腥應該好唔新鮮, 我有個鐵胃都驚有事, 所以雖然佢猛話頂得住我都勸停佢.

Waitress反映後佢入咗厨房一輪, 咄來話個魚個味道係咁, 因為師傳做法比較天然, 冇乜加Seasoning, 以保持個魚嘅原始味道. 我食咗咁多年鱸魚, 先知原來佢最原始嘅味道係咁腥臭同霉的...

我聽唔明個Waitress up乜, 就請佢叫厨師咄來

原來外藉大厨放假, 個細細粒好瘦似煮中菜嘅叔叔走咗出來.

佢人好好, 好nice, 但同我完全溝通唔到. 我冒住比佢串我係咪食過拖鞋嘅危險話個Salmon Mousse質感似膠拖鞋(其實味道可能似著咗好耐冇洗的人字拖...呢個我當然冇講!!), 但佢冇正面回應, 猛講佢個製法...

我話個鱸魚都好腥, 佢又講番頭先waitress同我講D野...

我話新鮮嘅鱸魚冇奶油咁腥, 佢話可能冇煎過, 跟手話要做過份佢自己的Version比我 (佢話先前果個係大厨嘅Version).

我推咗幾次(因為心中有數), 但佢好堅持, 我唯有屈服.

哥舊佢話Seasoning咗同煎過的, 一樣係又霉又腥, 但當個厨咄來問我ok唔ok時, 我拍哂手掌"Fig"哂毛巾話好好多, 因為我怕佢又整多舊咄來.....

不過咁, 佢呢度嘅環境, 又係幾剎食的, 絕對金碧輝煌, 追女仔來飲杯野都唔錯, 但食埋野就一定事倍功半了...
