上湯龍蝦配伊麵~~ 龍蝦味唔算突出,但總算新鮮,個上湯都幾好,唔係傑韃韃,味道同出面d酒樓差唔多,但伊麵真係出事,碎濕濕嘅,夾唔起咁濟,份量又少,一圍枱12人夾咗5個已經無晒,我都係分到兩條仔咋~~

雞咸咗d, 仲有d(鞋),我試咗一件就收咗工~~


桂花魚,基本上桂花魚係好難整得唔滑,但今次真係食到喇~~雖然去晒骨,食嘅都係啖啖肉,但會唔會就係呢個做法搞到條魚唔滑呢?條魚嘅味道都唔錯,但反而湯底竟然係淡戍戍~~~

茶樹菇配油炸鬼釀肉餅 呢個我覺得最出色,嗰d一塊塊嘅肉外面,用咗疑似油炸鬼嘅物體包住,有少少脆口,內裏juicy, 真係幾好食~~

飽魚冬菇小棠菜~~同婚禮酒席中嗰d差唔多,冬菇無酸味,ok~~茨汁唔(傑),飽魚唔腥,總算唔錯~~

千島沙律醬花枝丸~~有d怪,好似格格不入咁,唔係好食,又未算難食lor~~

梅菜芥菜~~望落去真係有d清寡,唔明點解呢碟菜都可以用嚟設宴,芥菜入口苦澀,梅菜又咸,唔知想點~~~


成餐飯都食到"O"咗~~~返屋企仲要食消夜呀~~陰公

I've been to Maxim's at least 10x's since moving to Hong Kong four years ago. It is "the" place to recommend for dim sum when tourists and work colleagues are in town. I've been to Maxim's at least 10x's since moving to Hong Kong four years ago. It is "the" place to recommend for dim sum when tourists and work colleagues are in town. It's one of the few places in HK that still have the push cart trolleys (though you can also try Lin Heung, but the atmosphere might be a bit much for some people). Maxim's underwent a major renovation in 2010 and with computerized screen trolleys, bigger chandeliers and a softening of the garish chinese decorations came an increase in prices and unfortunately, a decrease in quality that seems to be taking place in stages each time we've visited since then. That being said, I still think it is one of the better places for dim sum in Central and I will still return. Although the wait always seems long, they keep the line moving at a brisk pace. Particularly if you are there with a smaller party (4 or less), you shouldn't have to wait any more than 20mins and this time was no exception.

-sweet crust char siu bao - how can you not like this dish? by the time it gets to your table, it's not very hot and it could be filled with a bit more pork, but the dough is soft and the top is sugary sweet.

-chiu chow dumplings - these are a favorite of mine - i love the nuts mixed in with the veggies. thin skinned and stuffed full.

-chicken feet - i never touch these but my boyfriend enjoys them. he said they were average and a bit fattier than usual.

-ham shui gock (deep fried glutinous rice stuffed with pork) - i love these and order them whenever they have them at dim sum restaurants. not as sweet as they are at some places, but not bad.

-seen chock guen (steamed bean curd rolls stuffed with pork/prawns/veggies) - these are also a favorite of mine that i always order for dim sum. these were a bit average compared to other places, but not too bad.

因為所有點心都是推車出的,所以很有懷舊的感覺。我喜歡!點心要趁熱吃,多了涼了都不好吃。我們看見第一輛點心車經過時,選了:干蒸牛肉、燒麥、菜苗餃,阿姐手捧點心推介時,我們點了蝦餃皇,第三次腸粉車經過時我們點了牛肉腸,甜點車經過時我們點了白糖糕。
我仲蹲在點心車前,問阿姐可不可以影張相,阿姐仲好態度,當然可以啦!那我就不客氣啦!全場都好多客人攞住部相機影相,特別多外國客人。
蝦餃皇:可能是手捧出來的緣故吧,途中蝦餃皮吸了倒汗水,個皮好淋,淋到用筷子一夾就散了,食到口中皮也粘住天堂,餡都唔錯,新鮮足料。
燒麥:皮就好薄啦,餡都好足。
菜苗餃:被我們各食咗一只先想起沒影相,哈哈。好好味,咬一啖睇D內容,仲可以見到一條一條的菜苗,一點也不油,好味。
干蒸牛肉:已經要了燒麥,我本來想食牛肉球,見阿姐推介好落力,試下啦,超濃的牛肉味。
牛肉腸:皮好滑,只是我略覺得腸粉醬油鹹了一些。
白糖糕:很清甜,沒有酸味。朋友話,現在可以吃到不難吃的白糖糕已經是難事了,水準很髙!
全場的燈光很光猛,職員也做得落力,埋台時也都積極、熱情。雖然車來車往,人也很多,但並不淩亂,也聽不到劈裡啪啦的聲音。時常見到廚師推新鮮點心出來並協助買賣,職員交談聲音專線也控制得良好。可見職員質素非同一般。
價格也是非同一般,我們埋單的點心平均價格差不多是$38/份,當然質素是肯定的。消費與否要看各人需要,我會再光顧。

Ate dim sum with my family. We arrived before they opened at 11:30 so there was no wait.Have to say that dim sum was quite disappointing. We had dim sum 5 years ago and it was an excellent experience. Perhaps the fact that we had dim sum on a weekday may have been a factor.Shrimp dumplings were flavorless. Rice crepes, radish cakes, egg tarts and other dishes were generally mediocre. Chicken feet were excellent. The service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Th

Shrimp dumplings were flavorless. Rice crepes, radish cakes, egg tarts and other dishes were generally mediocre. Chicken feet were excellent.

The service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant decor is still very beautiful as I remembered it. However, the view of the harbor is awful -- full of construction cranes and excavation sites.

Considering the high price and reputation, and only so-so food, I do not recommend this restaurant for dim sum.

黑松露油炒時蔬雜菌:看似黑芝麻呢!味道幾好,菜也新鮮,清淡卻開胃。翠塘滑豆腐:獻汁略嫌重手左少少;但豆腐夠滑又有豆味,算是挽回些分數。豆腐魚頭煲:熱騰騰的上桌,看見也興奮;可惜油膩了少許。黑醋子薑咕嚕肉:酸酸的很好吃,肉粒炸的很脆,作的不馬虎。

每次去美心飲茶都人山人海,今天放假所以可以早些時間去搵位,十二點半去到已經有人等緊位,有外國遊客和國內同胞,要等6張檯,大概15分鐘就有位了,環境尚可,但食物就....,點了:蝦餃:個皮環可以,但個餡就完全無味燒賣:個皮蒸到散哂,啲肉好乾,無味蝦腸:啲蝦又係無味牛柏葉:普普通通,正常綿花雞:只有依個好少少,正常他們食物無味唔係因為調味少無味精 (我仲食到好重味精添,因為好口渴),而係啲材料雪到無哂鮮味,咁大個集團,連最基本嘅蝦餃燒賣都做到咁,真係好失望,我應該唔會再去了!

Maxim is one of the popular Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong.

Surrounded by hotels, this maxim restaurant is famous for dim sum among tourists. (This is my first English review in Openrice
) Language is not a problem. You may choose dim sum in the picture-flashing dim sum carts : steamed, fried or desserts... You may also enjoy seaview of the Victoria Harbour. Atmosphere, food and service quality are good & stable.

Dim Sum in this maxim is more expensive than maxim in other districts with prices ranging from $28 to $46.

No reservation is available. This Sunday, we arrived as early as 1130. Half of the restaurant is already occupied.

We (3 people) have ordered 8 dim sums : ( I rarely order shrimp dumpling 蝦餃 in maxim because they are not impressive)

Dumpling paste is not thick nor doughy. Ingredients are flesh, not too oily / salty / fatty. So delicious!

To me, desserts are always disappointing. They are too sweet! Desserts in Shatin maxim are much better.

星期日, 和媽及豬豬女友來飲茶;其實係心血來潮才來, 因為上次已係好多年前來了... 心中有點掛住呢.但一下車, 感覺已好唔同; 因天星, 皇后, 已不在了.只剩返幾塊釘版, 後面的填海工程...上到去都冇海景睇了.但唔理啦, 照食啦, 唔望窗, 都仲有9成相似的~都好多老外, 回家一看才知原來lonely planet 係有講呢間餐廳的, 仲有video, 勁呀.一般飲茶, 叫幾味點心, 味都好好, 金錢肚夠味夠咬口, 蝦餃d蝦新鮮又足料;北菇雞飯d雞好肉, 飯好味又夠熱腸粉正, d义燒唔太肥... 連推點心車的阿姐都識講英文, 介紹d點心俾d遊客, 勁呀...3人食了三百幾, 略貴呢, 但係係遊客價... 一次咁多啦!

一般飲茶, 叫幾味點心, 味都好好, 金錢肚夠味夠咬口, 蝦餃d蝦新鮮又足料;
北菇雞飯d雞好肉, 飯好味又夠熱
腸粉正, d义燒唔太肥...

連推點心車的阿姐都識講英文, 介紹d點心俾d遊客, 勁呀...

3人食了三百幾, 略貴呢, 但係係遊客價... 一次咁多啦!

再去飲茶,就順便影底左幾推介食品~菠蘿叉燒餐飽 - 今日唔太熱,不過仍然係香脆既菠蘿皮,唔太甜,同滿滿既叉燒餡好夾~蜜汁叉燒 - 加左價喇,不過叉燒做得好鬆化,肥瘦適中,加埋個完美蜜汁,一絕!!蜂巢香芋角 - 鬆化既蜂巢唔油膩,餡料都做得好靚,厚厚既一層粉紫色芋蓉好香~鮮蝦腸粉 - 最緊要豉油靚,另外蝦好爽腸粉薄,好食~砂窩鱆魚雞粒炆飯 - 夠料夠味,有少少飯蕉,雖然加左價,不過水準依然埋單 $370真係好好味既叉燒

中環上環一帶都有唔少飲茶既好地方,大會堂既美心皇宮係其中一間……午市有好多人等位,其中有好多跟旅遊書介紹既外國人~ 雖然呢間美心既價錢比其他貴,但係我認為物有所值~飲茶當然要食點心啦,但係最吸引既係:叉燒 - 無論坊間有幾多間叉燒王,我都係鍾意呢一間美心皇宮既叉燒~ 一碟有三條,每一條都肥瘦適中,永遠唔會燒得太乾太硬,肉質夠腍,好食到不得了!味道好個人既,我好欣賞呢碟叉燒既蜜汁,有人可能會嫌太甜太杰,我就認為岩岩好…係最好味既叉燒!砂窩鮑汁雞粒飯 - 我覺得呢味好抵食…個飯色水好靚,飯唔會太濕,索哂d飽汁,好好味~點心類都好,不過唔係每一款都特別好出:叉燒菠蘿包 - 如果可以係佢新鮮出爐既時候食就最好啦…菠蘿皮做得非常鬆化,餐包唔太甜,叉燒餡三分肥七分瘦,講唔出架,食啦~鮮蝦腸粉 - 大大隻蝦好爽口,腸粉做得夠薄夠滑,最主要係豉油靚…(稻香既腸粉豉油就唔靚喇)~蝦餃 - 其實我嫌佢太大粒既,不過整體好味就算啦~芋茸西米布甸 - 吉士好香唔太甜,芋茸又香又滑…如果冇得食都唔知點算呢度個景就唔算好靚,因為出面填緊海…不過落地玻璃樓底又夠高,坐得舒服~

飲茶當然要食點心啦,但係最吸引既係:
叉燒 - 無論坊間有幾多間叉燒王,我都係鍾意呢一間美心皇宮既叉燒~ 一碟有三條,每一條都肥瘦適中,永遠唔會燒得太乾太硬,肉質夠腍,好食到不得了!味道好個人既,我好欣賞呢碟叉燒既蜜汁,有人可能會嫌太甜太杰,我就認為岩岩好…係最好味既叉燒!


砂窩鮑汁雞粒飯 - 我覺得呢味好抵食…個飯色水好靚,飯唔會太濕,索哂d飽汁,好好味~

點心類都好,不過唔係每一款都特別好出:
叉燒菠蘿包 - 如果可以係佢新鮮出爐既時候食就最好啦…菠蘿皮做得非常鬆化,餐包唔太甜,叉燒餡三分肥七分瘦,講唔出架,食啦~


鮮蝦腸粉 - 大大隻蝦好爽口,腸粉做得夠薄夠滑,最主要係豉油靚…(稻香既腸粉豉油就唔靚喇)~

蝦餃 - 其實我嫌佢太大粒既,不過整體好味就算啦~

芋茸西米布甸 - 吉士好香唔太甜,芋茸又香又滑…如果冇得食都唔知點算


呢度個景就唔算好靚,因為出面填緊海…
不過落地玻璃樓底又夠高,坐得舒服~

但係質素極為差

乳豬燒味拼盤...簡單菜色...但係都做得唔好

叉燒肥到溜油....切雞燒鴨就瘦到得棚骨

好似係 埃塞俄比亞大咁.....

蝦球算有d睇頭....大大蝦碌...食落夠爽脆

瑤柱甫....入面D 假髮菜令到成碟野的味道都變得古古怪怪

難得佢可以將瑤柱整到冇晒味呢

花姿釀蟹拑....多粉得滯.....咁多粉...我不如去超市買包自己炸好過LU

竹笙雞絲翅......真的有翅嗎??? 唔係想要大大排的翅

但係最起碼俾D 平價的翅裙俾我地丫....失望

金華火腿雙翡翠......味道好似立鴨咁....想點呀....真係未試過金華火腿係咁的味

清蒸雙海斑.....條斑唔好食都算....你唔好連豉油都俾次貨好播....

當紅脆皮雞....算係最好味嫁喇.....不過都係雪雞....算喇.....

見佢個皮都炸得幾脆幾香

鳳凰叉燒炒飯 + 幸福燴伊面...兩個都係整到爛pei pei 咁...

唉......美心都搞成咁.....得個名...好失望

This restaurant is always crowded with long queue. We went there around 1:40pm today and waited for about 20 minutes. We could not wait to order after getting a table. We got our favorite dim sums, except the 'Dai Leung friend Milk Desert' as it was run out as told by the managers. All chicken feet, spare ribs with rice vermicelli, steamed bambook roll, shrimp dumpling - Ha Gao were all great and delicious. Very good to see those carts running around you and you could chat with those 'shum shum'

好久沒有在這裡飲茶,應該有10年多時間,估唔到她(美心酒樓)仲健在.今早,有點私事要往上環辦,於是,突然想起這個舊朋友,於是便去探一探她,看她是否寶刀未老.和阿寶搭港鐵在A2出口步出郵政局,再經過皇后碼頭舊址(依家變咗地盤),漫步往大會堂,上3樓便到達.因都頗多人排隊,等了約半小時才可入內.坐下來便取了(這裡是有姐姐推車仔叫賣點心的)幾籠點心吃:蝦餃: 有兩隻蝦,做得很鮮味;蒸鮮竹卷:個汁好重蠔油味,腐竹盡吸收了獻汁的精華,好好食;煎蘿蔔糕:有濃濃的蘿蔔味,不會粉多過蘿蔔;流沙飽:雖然不是最好,但做得不錯,入口剛好,奶黃不燙口亦不凍;炸蝦角:夠熱,好香口;白糖倫教糕—估不到,在這裡可以吃到兒時常吃的甜點,好清甜,沒有酸味,高手之作.重遇故人,證明不但沒有退步,服務亦好過以前(其實以前已經好好).心滿意足地離去,好似聽到她說:何日君再來?一定會再來.這裡有很多外國人幫襯,他們真識食.

蝦餃: 有兩隻蝦,做得很鮮味;
蒸鮮竹卷:個汁好重蠔油味,腐竹盡吸收了獻汁的精華,好好食;
煎蘿蔔糕:有濃濃的蘿蔔味,不會粉多過蘿蔔;
流沙飽:雖然不是最好,但做得不錯,入口剛好,奶黃不燙口亦不凍;
炸蝦角:夠熱,好香口;
白糖倫教糕—估不到,在這裡可以吃到兒時常吃的甜點,好清甜,沒有酸味,高手之作.


重遇故人,證明不但沒有退步,服務亦好過以前(其實以前已經好好).

心滿意足地離去,好似聽到她說:何日君再來?

一定會再來.

這裡有很多外國人幫襯,他們真識食.

因有同事的提議,午餐時份由叮飯變了去飲茶,幸好一早有同事在此等位,因為去到時發覺門口已有等位的茶客,否則只有一小時的Lunch Time,能否飲到茶也很成問題........這裡的茶客,以附近一帶的白領居多,而細心觀察下,夾雜不少其他國藉的人士,相信這裡的侍應,也可以用幾種主要語言作出溝通。說回食物,以大路東西為主,蝦餃燒賣少不得、另有炸魷魚鬚和鯪魚球等,有一個菠蘿叉燒包賣相很不錯,釀節瓜甫、棉花雞加雞絲粉卷、叉燒腸粉等,大致做得不錯,始終是美心集團,有保證是應該的。最好印象是個荷葉飯,Size是細了一點,但吃出荷葉香,乾身中爽口足料,不比早輪陸羽吃的差。最後還來個椰汁榚,好味就好味,不過張單重「甘」,六個人要成七個幾元。吃一餐晚飯也夠了,幸好今餐是有人請的..............打工仔Lunch一餐,也不想吃得那麼「充裕」。
