因為有海港城$50 coupon才去,但堂食排咗幾個人,唔想排隊所以唯有外賣蛋糕,點咗檸檬茶和菠蘿包,減咗$50盛惠$77超抵,蛋糕賣相像真度很高而且超靚有啲唔捨得食,由於乾冰只能凍大約45分鐘,所以在商場附近坐低食咗先,菠蘿包好清新不太甜,特別裏面塊假牛油非常好食,檸檬茶塊黃色皮超甜,內裡cream有檸檬茶味道,個人覺得兩件蛋糕都好食,不過如要正價買就有點兒貴,試過就算了另外,只是買兩件蛋糕,又硬紙盒又硬紙袋,好似有啲浪費

甜品個樣係做翻d香港特色野,
例如魚蛋、檸檬茶、火腿通粉,但另有一番味道,檸檬茶外面係白朱古力,裡面係伯爵茶蛋糕,都幾好味。
最中意食火腿通,唔會太漏太甜,本身自己比較怕d太甜嘅食品,cheese cake就唔會太甜,仲好濃cheese 味。

魚蛋個人認為甜左少少,裡面係紅豆本身都已經好甜,甜到要用無糖咖啡餸住黎食先搞得掂,如果出面嘅皮用少少咸味有個反差可能會更好味。

原本想食果個奶卷嘅,但去到賣哂,下次去食唔知要等幾時了。

Have heard this new cake shop oriented fromNew York for some time, finally we paid a visit to Harbour City at weekend andhave a try. We arrived at around 5 p.m. and there was
a long queue for dining-in. It was still under the new social distancing rule
and the restaurant was only half full. We decided to buy takeaway instead as
the dining-in queue moved quite slowly. The takeaway queue was moving steadily.

We finally bought the signature Lemon Juice
Box and the time-limited Har Gow. The Lemon Juice Box looked cute and crafted
even with the name of the cake shop and straw! Very detailed design! It was
Earl grey mousse mixed
with bergamot curd (taste like lemon tea) with a layer of almond biscuit. The
taste was quite special and not too sweet! The combination of the flavour is
perfect! Highly recommended

The Har Gow is rose, strawberry and peach mousse cake which mainly the strawberry flavour can be tasted. It looks quite good but the taste is a bit disappointing as it is tasted just like an ordinary strawberry cake.

It was my birthday and boyfriend treated me to Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel. I was so excited! I love his shop in Tokyo. It seems every time we're in Tokyo, we go there. And boyfriend tried his shop in LA and loved it, too. When he announced he would open one here, I was excited! So, on my birthday, we came here for cake.There was a small line but it went very quickly as they have a 90 minute dine  in limit. Menu is in English and Chinese. They have a la carte and also this set which comes wit

There was a small line but it went very quickly as they have a 90 minute dine  in limit. Menu is in English and Chinese. They have a la carte and also this set which comes with a drink. Or upgrade to the marshmallow flower hot chocolate for a small price. I found that a very good deal. It was my birthday, so we went a la carte!

Lemon Juice Box ($62) was so cute. It really looked like the VLT box drink.  The coating was white chocolate.

The inside was Earl Gray marscarpone mousse, bergamat curd on  a crispy almond biscuit. It tasted pretty good. The mousse was delicious. I loved the curd. But I think it would have been better if they made it reallyl taste like lemon tea. To me, that was a bit disappointing.

Coconut mousse, coconut dacquoise. Inside was a pineapple lime passionfruit jam. The butter was a salted mascarpone cream.  I loved the jam center. But the best was the mascarpone cream. It really had the taste and texture of the cha chan teng butter.

HK Milk Tea Cookie Shot ($48) was the Hong Kong version of his popular cookie shot. But instead of looking like a shot cup, this one was like a Yakult bottle. It was felt sturdy and hard but upon biting into it, it was soft and crumbly. But yet held together well even though we poured in our tea. The milk tea was a bit weak though. And surprise surprise! You can get a refill!

Silk Egg Katsu Sando ($88) was definitely interesting. I know he did a pop up in his NYC branch so I was interested to try it here. However, unlike the NYC one where it had tonkatsu sauce, this one had XO mayo. Making it feel more like a cha chan teng sandwich. The egg was soft and fluffy and I loved the crunch of the coating on top.

The food did taste pretty good. Though some how it felt a bit more gimmicky than the one we had in Tokyo. I think it had to do with service. There I had the frozen s'more and the flaming was done in front of me with explanation of what was going on. It felt more like an experience. Here food was just plopped down in front you with no explanation. Would I be back? I don't know. Boyfriend and I agreed, we tried every thing here we wanted to try. But would anything draw us back to return? Where as the one in Tokyo, we return again and again and forever amazed. Here, we aren't too sure. But I guess I'll check in to see if they have anything new.

I went to Dang Wen Li on a Thursday morning, where my friend and I tried two pastries and an egg sandwich. The pastries were shaped like traditional HK snacks - we tried the Vita Lemon Tea juice box, which was an earl grey cake with white chocolate as well as the thousand year egg, which was a chocolate and coffee cake. What a cute and interesting bakery & cafe in Tsim Sha Tsui. Went there during tea time and ordered a Pineapple Bun. Coconut mousse & dacquoise salted mascarpone cream pairing with pineapple lime passionfruit jam.  It's quite an unique experience, overall flavour is on point. The coconut flavour is not overpowering and it goes well with the passionfruit jam. Would like to try out their other pastries next time.

吉列滑蛋既炸皮 薄薄一層好脆身 滑蛋確實頗滑 淡淡蛋香 擺耐左就會有小小油膩⁣⁣ 所以吉列既野嚟到真係要快啲食

Passed by Harbour City Ocean Terminal and noticed this cake shop. The outlook of the desserts are very local, although some are either bigger or smaller than the actual matters. I decided to try this cookie with a tiny bottle of milk tea. The package isnice, the pouring process was fun. The taste of the milktea is more like taiwanese style than local, the cookie tastes normal with extrapoint for the chocolate inside.

I decided to try this cookie with a tiny bottle of milk tea. The package isnice, the pouring process was fun. The taste of the milktea is more like taiwanese style than local, the cookie tastes normal with extrapoint for the chocolate inside.

試完真心失望,個蛋疏乎厘好多泡又唔好食食落口係好多水個感覺係好怪,望到好多人都食左小小就唔食,唔明點解d人一直話好食,吉列滑蛋三文治好油又硬仲要無咩味,如果話最正常嘅只有魚蛋。好差

就是被這間餅店的甜品外型所吸引着,全都是充滿着香港茶餐廳內的特色,包括:火腿通粉、淡奶;也有平日到茶樓吃點心,例如:流心奶黃包等; 也有港人很喜歡喝的檸檬茶紙包飲品,吃起來時候的味道也不一樣囉,每一件都充滿着驚喜,以值得推介的便是外型是皮蛋的,但吃起來卻是濃郁黑朱古力味的,一試愛上。

個樣好食過件餅 純粹gimmick 排幾個鐘真係唔值 要試就takeaway真心. It’s such a long queue where my friends and I had stuck in the line for over 30 mins. Eventually we gave up and ordered takeaway instead .The cakes and desserts are aesthetically pleasing, it is nice to see HK food being adopted in western context and elevated to the patisserie arena. But as creative as chef ansel is, the cakes are less impressive when it comes to taste. .Having tried five cakes in a row, I could barely remember what I had eaten apart fr

Having tried five cakes in a row, I could barely remember what I had eaten apart from the heavy sweetness on my tongue. None of the cakes stand out. You might be surprised that the pork bun shaped cake is actually mango vanilla mousse and coconut pineapple passion fruit cake for the pineapple bun. The cakes are just overwhelmingly sweet that are not on a par with that from other premium cake shops in the city.

The milk tea cookie shot, I would say, is the worst of them all. The milk tea is so bland, the milk chocolate coating inside the cookie is too sweet where the cookie itself is simply a thick piece of cookie.

As we might be deceived by the look of the cakes, the taste speaks some truth. While the chef’s effort to incorporate HK elements into french patisseries is much appreciated, the taste has nothing to do with the famous HK dishes, which is a big disappointment. In sum, it might be more worthwhile to queue for Lady M’s newly launched Osmanthus crepe cake.
