第一次係度寫野~~多多指教~~~平時食開日本野多, 尋晚同個fd黎左呢間法式牛扒食野~~個set都唔錯頭盤有個鵝肝and龍蝦湯, 個湯幾濃下,不過冇咩特別~鵝肝我唔係太識食~唔知點為之好味~不過d醬我覺得好好味~所以個鵝肝我都幾鐘意主菜係炭燒肉眼扒~~感覺同一般扒餐好唔同~~幾香口下~~不過我叫左7成熟,唔知係咪因為本身係炭燒關係~~好似熟左d~下次我諗可以叫6成~~薯條就差左d, 有點m記feel甜品係暖心朱古力蛋糕and牛奶公司雪糕...個朱古力蛋糕我諗係我個fd成晚的最愛~~哈~~成個set睇落個份量都唔算多,但完來食完都幾飽下~整體感覺都幾好~以後我諗可以試下多d食法國菜~

鵝肝牛排, 跟本只是一片非常非常簿的鵝肝醬, 完全唔係一塊件頭鵝肝, 但百幾蚊, 牛排"un"而又沒有鮮味又叫了麵包南瓜海鮮飯, 好難食, 用d下價海鮮, 要成80多元, 去意粉屋一定好食過佢唯一可讃就係裝修, 卡位一流有外籍人士唱歌, 不過續張枱行埋嚟, 我哋覺得有d騷擾

上次去了這家餐廳食dinner點了鵝肝/牛扒餐,約三百元味道真的不錯牛扒我要了四成熟,亦不錯甜品非常好食,竟是全晚之最可惜當日係周六,人多比較嘈午餐相對比較化算,下次可再試~

星期六中午,當我和妹妹,正煩惱緊響CWB食邊間,壽司/韓雅林的時候,妹夫就話黎哩度,佢試過,除了服務之外,食物ok,set lunch可選湯/沙律,沙律拌酸醋汁,味道剛好,唔錯,侍應都有主動問要唔要加麵包,3人點了3款不同set lunch,(約$118-128/位):1. 妹夫點了牛扒上碟時已切好, 7成熟,仍有少許紅,夠嫩,幾好2.妹妹要了鴨胸,普通一點3. 我要了炭燒三文魚芥末汁,魚都幾大件,幾鮮味,連拌碟的薯條都幾好味甜品係一片類似雪葩的, 不大欣賞!服務尚可.環境舒服,避開鬧市的人潮,悠閒地吃個午餐,這兒蠻不錯的!

好啦,未上甜品就影下相啦!但係呢個時候就有個人行埋來話有客投訴我地閃光燈閃親人地!叫我地唔好用閃光燈!(個間餐廳d 燈光好暗,唔開閃光燈根本影唔到!)我地之前要靜d 的位又唔比我地,依家又來投訴即係咩意思?!人地比咁多錢我地又係比咁多錢,影張相都要比人投訴!我地就冇right 的?!但我地都讓步諗住影多張大合照就走人。

set 緊腳架連相都未影的時候又有另一個態度好差的經理行埋來叫我地唔好用閃光燈影相!大佬呀!想點呀?!人地係客我地係唔係?何況你地又冇明文規定唔比用閃光燈影相!我地叫佢開光d 佢地又話唔得!嘈完一大輪都冇哂癮!

埋單的時候收多我地一杯house wine,同佢講我地冇叫過喎,佢就話會同我取消返佢。小姐,please make it clear,係妳地收多左我地錢!係唔該妳改返佢。之後個熊度惡劣經理係到死對爛對好似我地專登唔想比錢咁!再遞返張單埋來的時候態度依然好差!佢係問:咁個soft drink 係妳地叫架啦?!o_0今時今日咁的服務態度再加上咁的食物質素,唔怪得自04 年之後就冇再得過"BEST RESTAURANT" 獎啦!

一句講哂,以後都唔會再來!

前日叫左2 個set dinner 肉眼扒三文魚扒appetizer煎鵝肝:OK。不太油膩。龍蝦湯:濃但冇龍蝦味。麵包:差Main Course: 肉眼扒:肉質似扒王之王午餐質素。汁無特別,兩個set dinner D 汁竟然一漾。三文魚扒:OK 但味道一般最後有一個暖心朱古力蛋糕+ice-cream,朱古力蛋糕味道唔錯既,iCE-CREAM 就一般。價錢同質素不對稱,根本唔值。

經男友的同事介紹,今次我地試一試呢家牛扒屋。我地叫左一個set dinner同一個main course。Set dinner果個係炭燒牛柳,main course果個係豬脾骨(?已經唔係好記得個名)set dinner有appetizer—煎鵝肝。可惜我同男朋友都覺得似煎鯪魚餅咁。香煎鯪魚餅之後有龍蝦湯,味道唔錯,加埋dd麵包食,幾好味~兩個肉的肉質都好好,值得一讚。最後仲有一個暖心朱古力蛋糕,真材實料,看見朱古力漿湧出黎,食落口暖暖的,又係好完美的一餐了~雖然呢家牛扒屋的食物貴左dd,但質素的確係唔錯既。

昨日係我的生日, 之前上OPENRICE見過這間法國餐廳,像是好吸引似的, 於是決定來這裡慶祝.男朋友仔事先在這裡訂枱, 同放左個蛋糕係餐廳.大概晚上7點, 我們到達餐廳, 不是很多人, 只有三兩枱我們點了A / B餐各一:A餐包括鵝肝, 龍蝦湯, 炭燒肉眼扖, 朱古力軟心蛋糕配雪糕, 餐茶我們都不吃鵝肝的, 所以轉了焗田螺B餐包括海鮮拼盆, 炭燒肉眼扖, 蛋糕拼盆, 餐茶海鮮拼盆有生蠔,螺同蜆.我唔係太喜歡吃生野, 螺同蜆都OK啦. 但係我倆都不吃生蠔. 侍應見到我地食剩D蠔主動來問我地係唔唔好食, 我就話唔係太愛吃,佢仲問我地不如換其他食物比我地. 男朋友仔話螺好食, 所以就再加D螺比我地..真係一流呀!至於主菜炭燒肉眼扖, 不過係切埋比我地. 7成熟但係好似都好熟. 叫6成可能會好D. 仲有配D薯條好正呀. 唔似老麥果D. 侍應見我地食完就收碟, 收的時候仲問我地啱唔啱口味. 我就話好好食呀, ESP. 海鮮拼盆有生蠔,螺同蜆.我唔係太喜歡吃生野, 螺同蜆都OK啦. 但係我倆都不吃生蠔. 侍應見到我地食剩D蠔主動來問我地係唔唔好食, 我就話唔係太愛吃,佢仲問我地不如換其他食物比我地. 男朋友仔話螺好食, 所以就再加D螺比我地..真係一流呀!

至於主菜炭燒肉眼扖, 不過係切埋比我地. 7成熟但係好似都好熟. 叫6成可能會好D. 仲有配D薯條好正呀. 唔似老麥果D. 侍應見我地食完就收碟, 收的時候仲問我地啱唔啱口味. 我就話好好食呀, ESP. D 薯條呀, 之后我唔知醜的話如果可以多的就更架好啦. 侍應話下次ORDER時可以話要多的薯條. 之后佢仲主動問我地想唔想要多的喎. 我又再一次唔知醜地點頭, 侍應竟然話再比一碟薯條我地呀…連男朋友仔都話我真係唔怕羞架喎! 梗係啦….

甜品方面, 朱古力軟心蛋糕配雪糕正呀. 蛋糕拼盆普通左少少. 不過我地都志不在此. 而是那個生日蛋糕. 食完甜品一看, 餐廳多左好多人呀, FULL 哂. 侍應好忙,無之前禁細心啦. 等左好耐都未見生日蛋糕的來臨. 終於來了, 我的生日蛋糕呀, 好靚呀. 不過D侍應都無唱生日蛋糕比我聽, 只係好是但的把蛋糕放在我的面前, 然後就去做別的事了, 就連刀叉都沒有給我們.. 书

因為蛋糕好大個吃不掉, 所以我們TAKE AWAY. 但係我地仲有節目怕它會溶, 侍應好好的幫我們急凍..臨走時比番我地

最後,叫了餐飲, 埋單走人了. 總括來說, 如果人不多的話服務會好好多啦, 食物都算好食既. 以這個價錢不過不失啦. 不過其實間餐廳都幾嘈下架喎!

I have been this restaurant for several times, the steak is really really nice !!! and the seafood plaster is alos nice !!! Pirce are acceptable, since the food is good !! However there is more space to improve the service !!

我同gf拍拖一週年去左依度食野~諗住搵個地方浪漫d又食到好野~上到去有失望~地方無我想像中咁浪漫~而且仲有d嘈添!!好似去左椰X閣咁....不過好彩野食搭夠~我同gf每人選左set A同B各一~鵝肝好正....而SEAFOOD拼盤d蠔都好食!!之後肉眼扒同埋牛仔架都好好食~~加埋個心太軟....正ar!!最差就係set B o個個甜品~~普通~!!

The amazingly low caliber service
The French St-Germain version of the Chinese Great Wall Bordeaux.

The rain drops were dripping over my shoulder as I entered the 6th floor of Holiday Inn Express @ the W's Entrecôte le steak house francais to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Overwhelmed by the “wall of frame”at the entrance, W’s Entrecôte was “The Tatley’s Restaurant of the Year”for nine consecutive times. Full of expectations for an exquisite French dining experience, my taste buds were aiming for a ride.

After checking in at the counter for reservation (and yes, she have asked us for our reservation name, time, phone number and number of guests), the waitress still led us to the wrong table. I quickly became agitated, knowing it was pretty obvious how she didn’t even pay attention to the number of guests on our reservation.

Luckily, it was a small restaurant, so I simply waltz in through the dinning hall on its one inch shiny tile mosaic floor to sit with my friends on a school style open back wood chair. With all due respect for the designer, he did a great job in mimicking the outdoor balcony café style environment; but the un-cushioned chair is so uncomfortable that I became more tired by sitting on it a few hours without lower back support.

As I glance through the 4 page menu, I was really surprise how limited choices were available; 2 set dinner, 4 selections of appetizers, 2 types of soups, 5-6 choices of main course (interestingly, there was about 10 types of desserts?!?!). Despite of the few choices available, it took us at least half an hour to draw a conclusion on what to order. Within this lengthy debate of what to eat, the waiters simply ignore all our needs, including the stile tasting tap water and the complementary bread basket (in the end, I had to wave my hand like mad man to just get them to fill up my glass).

I decided to share with my friend on ordering both set dinners to taste the variety; set dinner A: foie-en-gras (aka pan fried goose liver), lobster bisque, salmon steak, soft chocolate cake (278$), set dinner B: sea food platter, rib eye steak, desert platter (318$). We also ordered a four hundred dollar bottle French Bordeaux (St-Germain / 01) to start.

After showing us the wine, the waiter only cuts off the tip of the aluminum wrapping and de-crocks on the table. The wine was then poured into our 3 inch, un-bowl, short wine glass for trial (for pete sake, is a classy restaurant, at least show me the proper method to de-crock a wine and the decency to use the proper wine glass for a Bordeaux). As I swirl the wine for a bit, all I can smell is a foul sting of a spiciness, badly aged, vinegar with over tannin content. The first sip was a killer, the tannin and the acid just burnt through my mouth, simply reminding all of us nothing but the 30RMB bottle of China Great Wall red wine.

It doesn’t take a professional wine taster to know this bottle was spoiled. After decanted for twenty minutes, we argued with the manager and the “in-house wine taster”on the situation. They gave me an impression that think I don’t know my wines and refuse to admit it was spoiled; in fact, they were even trying to convince me that this was an aged Bordeaux so its got an elevated alcohol content (yeah right, five to six year French Bordeaux should be at its prime and it reads on the label 14% alcohol).

Extremely unsatisfied with the wine, the appetizers weren’t much better either. The foie-en-gras was just covered in a thick layer of spiced salty black sauce that took over all the flavors. Then came the lobster soup which simply doesn’t taste like lobster and its lack of the flavors renders this bisque to be nothing but salt water in a bowl. Lastly, the sea food platter (four oysters and three sea snails), I am impressed on the freshness of the oysters but really disappointed on this grade C mal-nourish skinny size (yes, even small Kumamoto oysters can be small but fat).

The main courses weren’t anything spectacular either; the steaks were as thin as a normal breakfast steak (only measuring up to 8mm-1cm thick). As it was cut, you can see how fibrous and how rigid it was, for sure is not even good enough for a grade B rib eye.

The pan fried then grill stamped salmon fillet (it was simply grilled salmon on the menu) was simply a disaster as the chief tries to use the concept of煎封馬友(Cantonese lightly powder coated pan fried fish with soy sauces on top) to lock the juice within the meat; but his lack of heat control and the low quality thin cut fillet resulted in a rough textured charcoal flavored ultra-dried fish pieces (normally, when fish was overcook, the mean looses cohesion). Not mentioning how over boiled and tasteless the side-dish vegetables are, I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone.

As the service, wine, appetizer and the main course completely ruined my mood for the evening, the hot chocolate cake was the only course I was satisfied with. Despite the chocolate melt within the cake was too sweet, I still felt the pastry chief did a decent job to the evening’s closing.

In the end, before tips and 10% charge, I paid about 390 dollars. Frankly, I felt the quality of food was so low that it was compatible to any 150 dollar set dinner in any local steak house joints. Needless to mention how unsatisfied I was with the lack of service and how spoiled the wine really was (I drank only 1 sip from the entire bottle). I felt that I only got about 95 dollar worth of food for the total amount I have paid.

Full of expectations for an exquisite French dining experience, my taste buds were aiming for a ride.

After checking in at the counter for reservation (and yes, she have asked us for our reservation name, time, phone number and number of guests), the waitress still led us to the wrong table. I quickly became agitated, knowing it was pretty obvious how she didn’t even pay attention to the number of guests on our reservation.

Luckily, it was a small restaurant, so I simply waltz in through the dinning hall on its one inch shiny tile mosaic floor to sit with my friends on a school style open back wood chair. With all due respect for the designer, he did a great job in mimicking the outdoor balcony cafstyle environment; but the un-cushioned chair is so uncomfortable that I became more tired by sitting on it a few hours without lower back support.

As I glance through the 4 page menu, I was really surprise how limited choices were available; 2 set dinner, 4 selections of appetizers, 2 types of soups, 5-6 choices of main course (interestingly, there was about 10 types of desserts?!?!). Despite of the few choices available, it took us at least half an hour to draw a conclusion on what to order. Within this lengthy debate of what to eat, the waiters simply ignore all our needs, including the stile tasting tap water and the complementary bread basket (in the end, I had to wave my hand like mad man to just get them to fill up my glass).

I decided to share with my friend on ordering both set dinners to taste the variety; set dinner A: foie-en-gras (aka pan fried goose liver), lobster bisque, salmon steak, soft chocolate cake (278$), set dinner B: sea food platter, rib eye steak, desert platter (318$). We also ordered a four hundred dollar bottle French Bordeaux (St-Germain / 01) to start.

After showing us the wine, the waiter only cuts off the tip of the aluminum wrapping and de-crocks on the table. The wine was then poured into our 3 inch, un-bowl, short wine glass for trial (for pete sake, is a classy restaurant, at least show me the proper method to de-crock a wine and the decency to use the proper wine glass for a Bordeaux). As I swirl the wine for a bit, all I can smell is a foul sting of a spiciness, badly aged, vinegar with over tannin content. The first sip was a killer, the tannin and the acid just burnt through my mouth, simply reminding all of us nothing but the 30RMB bottle of China Great Wall red wine.

It doesn’t take a professional wine taster to know this bottle was spoiled. After decanted for twenty minutes, we argued with the manager and the “in-house wine taster”on the situation. They gave me an impression that think I don’t know my wines and refuse to admit it was spoiled; in fact, they were even trying to convince me that this was an aged Bordeaux so its got an elevated alcohol content (yeah right, five to six year French Bordeaux should be at its prime and it reads on the label 14% alcohol).

Extremely unsatisfied with the wine, the appetizers weren’t much better either. The foie-en-gras was just covered in a thick layer of spiced salty black sauce that took over all the flavors. Then came the lobster soup which simply doesn’t taste like lobster and its lack of the flavors renders this bisque to be nothing but salt water in a bowl. Lastly, the sea food platter (four oysters and three sea snails), I am impressed on the freshness of the oysters but really disappointed on this grade C mal-nourish skinny size (yes, even small Kumamoto oysters can be small but fat).

The main courses weren’t anything spectacular either; the steaks were as thin as a normal breakfast steak (only measuring up to 8mm-1cm thick). As it was cut, you can see how fibrous and how rigid it was, for sure is not even good enough for a grade B rib eye.

The pan fried then grill stamped salmon fillet (it was simply grilled salmon on the menu) was simply a disaster as the chief tries to use the concept of煎封馬友(Cantonese lightly powder coated pan fried fish with soy sauces on top) to lock the juice within the meat; but his lack of heat control and the low quality thin cut fillet resulted in a rough textured charcoal flavored ultra-dried fish pieces (normally, when fish was overcook, the mean looses cohesion). Not mentioning how over boiled and tasteless the side-dish vegetables are, I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone.

As the service, wine, appetizer and the main course completely ruined my mood for the evening, the hot chocolate cake was the only course I was satisfied with. Despite the chocolate melt within the cake was too sweet, I still felt the pastry chief did a decent job to the evening’s closing.

In the end, before tips and 10% charge, I paid about 390 dollars. Frankly, I felt the quality of food was so low that it was compatible to any 150 dollar set dinner in any local steak house joints. Needless to mention how unsatisfied I was with the lack of service and how spoiled the wine really was (I drank only 1 sip from the entire bottle). I felt that I only got about 95 dollar worth of food for the total amount I have paid.

It's my first time to dine here. When stepped in the restaurant, some smells came to my nose, maybe it's the ventilation. I adopted it after a few minutes. Then the checkers table cloth was also a weird thing to me as it looked a bit cheap given the price of the meal...Anyway, you would forget all about this when the food was served. The seafood platter was very good, fresh oysters and juicy shells. Lobster soup was a bit fishy and not hot enough. But the main course did retain lots of score.

Anyway, you would forget all about this when the food was served. The seafood platter was very good, fresh oysters and juicy shells. Lobster soup was a bit fishy and not hot enough. But the main course did retain lots of score. The rib eye was very juicy and soft, not because of the softening powder but should be the good cooking skill of the chef. Only one comment was the serving portion was a bit small that both we needed to have late snacks afterwards.

Dessert for set B was much better than set A where the mini cakes were just so-so. But the chocholate suffret from set B was just a perfect full-stop for the dinner.

We definitely will come again.

睇過呢度d 評語都唔錯,所以決定今晚去試一下Set Dinner 每樣要左一個,個鵝肝幾好味,但我都係鐘意個海鮮拼盤多d,d生蠔幾新鮮主菜要左肉眼扒同羊架,兩樣都整得好好味甜品方面個朱古力軟心蛋糕真係好正,另一個餐無要到個甜品拼盤,轉左做蘋果撻,加埋d雪糕一齊食真係好掂Service 幾好,待應不時都會留意下有乜需要,唔駛開聲會自動自覺收碟加水
