-個人覺得可以濃味d

-友人形容為炒米粉........好攪笑
-蟹肉有鮮味,但個天使麵就腍,又唔爽,真喺好似友人所講,有中式炒米粉嘅影子
-說實話,味道無問題,但意粉嘅效果真喺比我想像中做得普通

iii) hot coffee
-雖然我唔飲咖啡,但每1次我都好有興趣摸吓附上嘅小奶瓶喺暖定凍
-呢間好細心,會供上暖嘅奶..........
-但聽友人講,呢杯咖啡普通

iv) panna cotta
-全店出名嘅甜品
-的確好滑同好有雲呢嗱味
-不過個膠性比預期中微微高咗

3) piccole freschi assaggi ($108)
-見到餐牌喺新菜,所以叫嚟試吓,賣相好靚
-有san daniele ham卷內有mascarpone同火箭菜,旁邊有水牛軟芝士,車厘茄,蜜瓜球
-但每樣只有少少,只比到淺嚐同點到即止嘅感覺

4) tiramisu ($60)
-試過了oliva xx xxxxx嘅tiramisu之後,呢個就欠了那份酒味
-少了1份性格

- 午飯時段好多人............起碼要早幾日訂枱

I dunt go there usually... only 3 times, but can feel strongly that it's getting worse and worseThe first time I went was in Dec 2007. Salad was NOT fresh, and too much dressing
(Or maybe the over-dressing was specially used for "decorating" the Non-fresh vegs.??!
); The Carbonara (maybe the spelling is not correct) we ordered was also
there was too much cheese, salty and not warm enough! How many times it had been Re-cooked ??!
We complained, but the waiter just said "sorry"...then didnt do anything! Then we complained to the rest. Manager. He did nearly the same reaction, but asked "would you like to change another one"
We dunt go there for Food Tasting! Especially, we cud see the whole restaurant is out of mangement!! or NO management at all !


After the 3rd time weeks ago, I believe I wont go there any more! The service is even worse
There's no kind, pacient, polite service at all! Just like selling fast food
The pizza was over-cooked
~ hard
~ and cheese on the top was dry and dark
Must to say their steak! It may be the worst worst worst and worst one that I have had!
Over-done, dry, appearance is cheap, and sauce is rubbish!! My colleagues all said the same one but cooked in Grappa's QB is much much X 1000 better!!!

The main reason that made us make desicion that never go this restaurant any more is of cuase their BAD service and poor food. The service doesnt match the environment; the food quality doesnt match the price!
In one word: No Management! Most of the waiter and waitress should be changed; the rest manager should be changed; and the boss~~~may be better to be changed as well !

頭盤要了餐湯,是義大利菜湯,湯和麵包都沒有甚麼驚喜,不過不失啦但主菜很好吃,有4款選擇,我選的是煎石班,用料明顯是用深海魚而且品質很高,應該是正宗的外國貨,新鮮熱辣、厚肉、外皮香脆、肉質嫩滑,一點都不腥這魚做得和在英國吃的差不多,英國的煎魚是出名好吃的,主要是材料問題,香港很多地方都及不上,但這兒的確做得很好配菜也做得很認真,薯蓉和蔬菜菇菌都很重香料和牛油味,十分好吃甜品的Panna cotta名不虛傳,的確是吃過之中最好的,coffee要了cappucinno,調得不錯,很香服務很好,環境也不錯lunch set $160,以這樣的用料和食物質素,不貴

I was having b-day dinner with my friend on 11/9 Sun and the service & food was terrible from the starting wine to the ending dessert. We first ordered a white wine and the waiter used a "water glass" for the wine testing. (Is Grappa out of wine glass??? )Then we ordered 2 appetizers & 6 main courses. One of my friend reminded the waiter to serve us the main dishes after we finish the appetizers. The waiter said, "Don't worry Miss. Of coz, we won't bring out the main dishes until you finis

What happened was, when we still had our plate full of salda & cold cut, the waiter came up and put down the pasta on the table!!!
We questioning why serving the main course even we were still eating the appetizers, then he said sorry and took back the pasta. (Isn't it a common sense to serve main dished after your customer finished the appetizers???

There were more coming. After we finished the "appetizers", a "supervisor" came up and asked, "Ladies, is it "OK" to bring up your pasta "NOW" ?" We nod our head and let them served. (She was so impolite

The pastas were obviously "re-cooked" and all were NOT al dente at all and soften like fast food. The risotto was so over cooked like baby food that my friend couldn't stand for it and asked for re-do. (What kind of Italian restaruant it is???
)
The service was not to "standard". We saw the waiter just walking here and there around us and did not offer help to re-fill the water or take the finished plate until we asked "3 times"
As it was for birthday, we have ordered a Tiramisu cake for dessert. While it was kind of late, we requested to wrap up the cake for take away. What the waiter brought out was 2 lunch box of Tiramisu !!! We almost want to "yell"
and reminded him it should be a cake with "name" on and for b-day used, how come it was "cut" into half?
Then he rushed to the kitchen and found our "b-day" cake.
No matter how good the Tiramisu tasted, it was really the worst experience I had dinning in a well-known, italian, costy, sounded professional restaruant. I will definitely NOT visit again

這間金鐘Grappa其實食過好多好多次,之前食評也寫過兩次。剛巧得知有好幾位食友好鐘意食Panna cotta,我就介紹係我朋友心目中認為最好食Panna cotta的地方。之前每次都是散叫,今次見set lunch都幾岩食,就索性食餐吧!頭盤我要三文魚蘑菇沙律,兩大塊三文魚淋上橄欖油,更帶出鮮味,周邊圍上了火箭菜及很多生蘑菇,食完已半飽了。朋友的Minestrone很濃縮,味道帶酸香,很開胃。大家的主菜是海鮮蕃茄濶條麵,份量廷多,蕃茄味很濃,意粉未算硬身,有點腍腍感覺。甜品有Panna cotta及Chocolate mousse選擇,朋友當然要她的心頭愛,而我就要Chocolate mousse。其實我對意式奶凍一般,但朋友一路食一路讚不絕口。我就好欣賞那個mousse,賣相一點不吸引,墊底的生果水汪汪的,最精彩那兩球如絲般幼滑的慕絲,不是濃黑的朱古力,但味道一樣很強烈。最後還有餐茶,加一後$176,在這區來說是很抵食的。

頭盤我要三文魚蘑菇沙律,兩大塊三文魚淋上橄欖油,更帶出鮮味,周邊圍上了火箭菜及很多生蘑菇,食完已半飽了。朋友的Minestrone很濃縮,味道帶酸香,很開胃。

大家的主菜是海鮮蕃茄濶條麵,份量廷多,蕃茄味很濃,意粉未算硬身,有點腍腍感覺。

甜品有Panna cotta及Chocolate mousse選擇,朋友當然要她的心頭愛,而我就要Chocolate mousse。其實我對意式奶凍一般,但朋友一路食一路讚不絕口。我就好欣賞那個mousse,賣相一點不吸引,墊底的生果水汪汪的,最精彩那兩球如絲般幼滑的慕絲,不是濃黑的朱古力,但味道一樣很強烈。

最後還有餐茶,加一後$176,在這區來說是很抵食的。

20080930下了課,約阿Sir及一班同學仔飲嘢,就近選了這裏。雖然是商場裏面的餐廳,但氣氛還頗不錯,有一點街邊咖啡店的錯覺,我們一行十人,剛好霸占了完整的一個角落。Drink List 還是蠻長的,也有一些像“Boring Beer”這樣的tricky names。比利時啤酒的選擇不少,于是要了一支Kriek,cherry味道的。淡淡的酒香裏酸酸甜甜的,很容易入口。價錢比想像中便宜,啤酒都在三四十塊錢之間,又沒有人趕,可以一直坐到打烊,在金鐘來說,都不失爲一個幾好的飲嘢地方

第一次幫襯呢間餐廳,食左個貴價午餐。一去到已經有個bread basket係枱面,侍應會斟上橄欖油及醋。麵包有好幾款,全麥/白麵包都有。不過d麵包凍冰冰,我個人就覺得唔太好味。頭盤揀左凱撒沙律,菜好新鮮。同行友人說鹹了一點,不過我就覺得ok。主菜我要左個Butterfly pasta,個汁辣辣地,材料只得幾片青瓜同幾粒薯仔,一片肉都冇,好似好齋咁。甜品揀左朱古力蛋糕,朱古力味濃厚,不過太甜。最後飲埋杯熱咖啡,冇咩特別。服務差左d。我地叫侍應refill個bread basket,佢竟然要我地拎埋最後一件至肯refill,我地都覺得好奇怪。不過我唔會再幫襯啦,貴得黎又唔係真係好好食。

知道這裡的Tiramisu很不錯~所以特意來試試!!!叫了tiramisu和homemade apple pie~Tiramisu 酒味和咖啡味適中~ladyfinger 不會太濕, 也不會太乾!!!很不錯~Homemade apple pie也很好~暖暖的apple pie配上雪糕, 有點似apple crumble的食法~裡面的蘋果酸酸甜甜, 加上批皮甜甜的, 不錯~還有水果伴碟, 酸酸的raspberry~開胃~又不會膩~很寫意~

同舊同事聚會,訂左Grappa's食lunch.Set lunch $160有頭盤,主菜,甜品同咖啡.我們加左$30轉食牛排.頭盤我選擇左凱撒沙律,食得出個醬係homemade,d菜好新鮮好脆;主菜係sirloin steak,分量好大,肉質也很鮮嫩,不過我叫medium rare,我朋友叫well done,出黎個結果係完全一樣,兩碟牛排都係紅紅地但係無血水,兩頭唔到岸;甜品我選擇左panna cotta,類似雲呢拿味的慕絲,質地好滑而且唔會太甜.Overall我覺得保持水準,不過waiter質素就真係麻麻,serve我們的waiter全程無里笑容,我個朋友係韓國人,所以我們一直講英文,但係個waiter哥哥就係咁講中文,九唔搭八!都會再返黎捧場,因為環境舒服,好適合三五知己聚舊!

My mom works in Admiralty and she has been to Grappa's for lunch many a time, and has been impressed with a few of their dishes. I've heard good things and was quite looking forward to my lunch.It ended up being the most disappointing lunch ever. My mom works in Admiralty and she has been to Grappa's for lunch many a time, and has been impressed with a few of their dishes. I've heard good things and was quite looking forward to my lunch.

It ended up being the most disappointing lunch ever. Seriously, it was shameful the way the dishes came out, especially for a restaurant of its standing.

From the set lunch menu ($160), I ordered:
1 warm beef carpaccio with olive oil and mushrooms
2 a 'chopped lamb' and asparagus pasta
3 panna cotta
4 cappucino


1 The beef carpaccio was tasteless, and came with some very ordinary sliced white button mushrooms. The olive oil was also surprisingly flavourless, and overall the dish was extremely tepid and not tasty at all. A far cry from the delicious carpaccios I've had in Italy. The mild mushroom did not work with the flavourless meat. It wasn't so much 'warm' as just room temperature. Unappealing.

2. The pasta was most infuriating. First off, I have to say, Grappa's certainly ignores seasonality - asparagus in the dead of winter? And to that end, zucchini? No wonder the food was tasteless and bland. They should learn from the Italians and truly use seasonal ingredients and make the most of them.

The 'chopped lamb' didn't sound appealing on the menu, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought they'd churn out something quite pleasant. It was ghastly. What I got was a bowl full of GREY chunks of overcooked lamb sitting in a bed of pasta that had virtually no sauce or seasoning apart from the juices that seeped from the lamb from cooking (most likely due to the chefs not searing the meat to lock in the moisture, essentially the lamb was steamed in its own juices ..ugh). They didn't offer me any parmesan cheese, which was desperately needed to add some form of flavour to the dish, so I had to ask. It was truly a feat to finish it, it was hospital food.

On the other hand, my mom's medium tenderloin steak was pleasant (if not a bit on the rare side, though I like that) - but it wasn't very interesting (can people stop just putting carrot/pepper batons on mash, it's so boring) AND cost an extra $30.

3. The panna cotta was the best part of the meal, though it was slightly too thick but that's alright. Looking at the photos of the panna cotta from other people's reviews, I feel jipped. There were about 4 blueberries and two halves of a very small strawberry on the plate, and one of the blueberries were wrinkled and mushy. I know it's not the season for berries, but surely they could have replaced it with some other seasonal fruit and not put out what was essentially a 'summer berry panna cotta'?

4. I am a firm critic of a good cappucino, and this one arrived and looked promising, with thick foam rising over the rim of the cup. But it was deceiving - there was so much milk in the coffee I felt like I was drinking coffee flavoured milk instead of what was supposed to be an espresso with a bit of milk and a lot of foam.

Bread was old, the waitresses don't know the good ratio for olive oil to balsamic, overall it was a VASTLY disappointing lunch, and it came totally unexpected. Will not be going back.

They also had no excuse - the restaurant wasn't even that busy.

平安夜的午餐與平日價錢相同,也可以散叫,沒有特別限制。又是點了Carbonara,即場灑上很多的Parmesan cheese,故此芝士濃度相當重,配以厚厚的忌廉,味道十分強烈;Spaghetti亦好有口感。原來上次也有食的大蝦墨魚汁闊麵,新鮮的大蝦仍然彈牙,但新鮮的墨魚汁闊麵就沒有彈性可言,又沒有韌度,而且個人喜歡墨汁麵配蕃茄醬汁較好。另外甜品同事的Panna cotta,其評價是保持水準;而我點了Chocolate & hazelnut semi freddo,其實是雪凍的慕絲,質感沒有慕絲的細滑,但似雪榚般,除了有濃烈的朱古力甘香外,中間還夾雜著榛子果仁,真是十分令人回味。

今日同鬼佬老細到此食lunch, 我地叫咗:1. Cripy cabonara2. Pizza #23. Spagetti with tomato source and cheese4. Orange juice炸"由"魚真係好好味!好香口,又酥脆,用來點嗰d汁又好味! ($100)由於知道我地係share,餐廳自動幫我地將意粉分咗兩碟!好細心啊!蕃茄好鮮味,仲有蘑菇同水牛芝士,意粉軟硬適中,yummy!最後的pizza#2,餐廳在menu度話由於未找到#1的pizza,所以就只有#2的pizza,都几自大!!哈哈!不過又真係几好食,個批好薄好脆,d餸又多,我食到唔識停..... 飽到連想叫的tiramisu都唔可以叫.成餐飯共$383,都几ok!下次我一定要叫tiramisu!!!

平日同朋友食晚飯, 點知full, 又無訂位wo, 好彩仲有bar位, 唔介意照坐, 而且有bartender serve, 可以更加專注serve我地, 又睇到佢地調洒, 仲好, 仲有feel 餐前有餐包, 有幾款揀, bartender好有心咁逐款介紹, 俾我地揀. 全麥, 白麵包, 意式香草, 加埋橄欖油, 好正!到bar, 當然叫支酒飲下, drink list 上, 酒款式都幾多幾齊. 再叫pizza送酒, 好match...pizza #2有pepperoni, mushrooms, olives等, 好足料, 埋到成pizza滿晒. pizza切成細細件, 大約有十幾件啦, 差唔多可以一啖一件, 好正! 自己可以加芝士調味, 呢度用唔係芝士粉, 而係即壓芝士碎, 打開芝士樽就會見到一舊舊芝士, 感覺好fresh. 餅底其實無咩特別, 但食落覺得厚薄好, 口感好好!tiramisu唔知係咪飲酒太高興, 食完pizza都覺得仲可以食得落, 叫tiramisu做甜品. size唔大件, 好兩人份量. 賣相都好靚. 食落有好重杏仁味, 雖然感覺有d怪, 但味道其實都唔錯.

有pepperoni, mushrooms, olives等, 好足料, 埋到成pizza滿晒. pizza切成細細件, 大約有十幾件啦, 差唔多可以一啖一件, 好正! 自己可以加芝士調味, 呢度用唔係芝士粉, 而係即壓芝士碎, 打開芝士樽就會見到一舊舊芝士, 感覺好fresh. 餅底其實無咩特別, 但食落覺得厚薄好, 口感好好!

唔知係咪飲酒太高興, 食完pizza都覺得仲可以食得落, 叫tiramisu做甜品. size唔大件, 好兩人份量. 賣相都好靚. 食落有好重杏仁味, 雖然感覺有d怪, 但味道其實都唔錯.

9 sth at night in admiralty leave u with little choices, grappas' always a good place to go esp for chit chat dinner with fdsgot seated on the sofa seats higher above which is a little more quiet, the 3 girlies enjoyed their PESTO linguine, scallops with salad and also one dish that i m not sure on the name (some cubes like potatoes mashed pasta) which apparently wasnt "al dente" enough. my pasta was too salty for my fds so i literally finished it off on my own, the scallops were good and so was

got seated on the sofa seats higher above which is a little more quiet, the 3 girlies enjoyed their PESTO linguine, scallops with salad and also one dish that i m not sure on the name (some cubes like potatoes mashed pasta) which apparently wasnt "al dente" enough. my pasta was too salty for my fds so i literally finished it off on my own, the scallops were good and so was the salad though my friend weren't keen on the super oily based dressing. a few extra drops of lemon juice could hv do the trick.

anyway, was so gona order tiramisu as always but was kinda filled up. this is a place i always recommend, jus that duno y ppl thought its posh and got initimidated
