1. Reservation: (N/A)
N/A. Walk in for weekday lunch, I got a table for 2 ppl right away.
2. Location / Accessibility: (6 out of 10 points)
It is 5 mins walk from Jordan MTR Station (exist C2), and 5 mins walk from Kowloon Park.
The district has a few local & mystery restaurants, worth for further discovery.
3. Atmosphere: (7 out of 10 points)
The restaurant is surrounded by local shops / family restaurants and located in residential area.
The shop is furnished with natural wood-style with bright lighting, simple yet comfortable.
4. Food: (7 out of 10 points)
Food menu is simple and straight, you could simply pick their signature dish of udon and roll cake / parfait as a set.
I ordered 2 udon and 2 parfait.
Udon: it is quite springy in texture, but it is a regret that you could only say their soup is very average, while most of the ramen shop tries to make their shops stand out by soup.
Parfait: it is roughly $80 per glass, quite expansive if you judge it by shop location. The glass is plastic; if it changes the container to glass material would already make you feel more worth for money. The parfait itself is good, I ordered berry and macha respectively. It has many different levels of textures – sweet, soft, creamy and crunch. It could full satisfy your desire for Japanese style of dessert.
5. Service: (6 out of 10 points)
Shop Assistants are very busy; ensure you make your request clear so they could give you the best service. For the size of this restaurant, I believe they need to hire additional staff to help during busy hours.
The boss is polite, greeting customer in Japanese and English. If you know Japanese, he would explain their food details to you in depth.
Overall: 26 out of 40 points
