近年餐飲業精益求精,人材輩出,由八十後組成隊伍參加的MLA黑盒廚藝大賽,不知不覺已經舉辦近百屆,更加是給予年輕人挑戰自己的平台,值得一讚.

是夜跟好友P兄應邀出席晚宴,一嚐在澳洲肉類及畜牧業協會MLA黑盒廚藝大賽的菜色,加上店方的特色菜,實在令人期望.

先來一份seafood platter,頂部是五款不同的醬汁,以配對不同的海鮮,非常細心,底部的海鮮軍團,當中的亮點莫過於源自澳洲的生蠔,清爽的肉質,蠔味鮮濃,加上入口一朕海水的咸味,請大家品嚐時,不要再添加醬汁,反而破壞了源自天然的感覺,Dungeness Crab肉質鮮甜細緻,波士頓龍蝦充滿濃郁的蝦味,新鮮幼嫩,而Tenshi蝦就肉質飽滿而爽甜,翡翠螺並非雪至死實的貨色,依然保持著柔韌的口感,藍貝更是肉質幼滑,這份具水準的拼盤,亦不過是五百左右,試想一下,在中式酒家來一客不知所謂的龍蝦伊麵,至少都要二三百吧,看來,這個拼盤的性價比更高.

配海鮮難道要來一杯汽水?別說笑了,最好當然是用香檳,是夜Billecart-Salmon的brut reserved,清爽帶微酸的質感,提鮮了食物的味道.

再來是輕煎鵝肝,燴洋梨,嫩菠菜配甜酒汁,鵝肝表皮煎得微脆,但中心位置依舊保持粉嫩的質感,洋梨稍為燴過,熱力將甜味都引出來,嫩綠的菠菜帶來一絲清新的感覺,而甜酒汁調和了油膩的口感.

說到底是以黑盒大賽的參選菜色作主打,組成Harbor Set Menu,starter是羅勒香草羊鞍配羊肉汁啫喱,薄切西蘭花,蘋果醬及雜菜沙律,羊肉透出胭紅的色調,沒半絲血水,火喉拿捏得相當好,肉質卻又粉嫩,配上羊肉汁做成的啫喱,味道更突出,蘸點少許蘋果醬,又可以中和一下油膩的口感.

套餐內有精選芝士碟(Camembert、Gorgonzola 及 Tomme de savoie) ,三款芝士,各有特色,源自法國的camembert及Tomme de savoie,前者是一種軟的法國白黴圓餅形芝士,雖然表面有遍布的發霉的白毛,內部卻是黃色的,質地較軟身,後者柔和地在口中溶化,透出令人心醉的香味,使人不期然會愛上她,另一款Gorgonzola來自意大利,在製作過程中加入青黴菌,令表面出現條條綠色條紋,很容易辨認,較重口味,三者中似乎Gorgonzola最得我心.

甜品還未夠喉?另點的建議來一個焗梨撻,胡桃意式雪糕,蜜餞迷迭香,原隻烤焗的香梨,澆上迷迭香醬,香味漸次變化,有個性,相信就算不配以雪糕,都是一個出色的甜品.

另一款甜品暖心64%黑朱古力及香草雪糕,以64%朱古力做心太軟,甘味平和一點,較易為大眾所接受,香草雪糕跟心太軟似乎是天生一對,黑白相間,冷熱交溶,絕配.

其實整個Harbor Set 只不過四百多圓一位,確是一個誘人的訂價,只可惜這個優惠到月底便完結;也許當你想跟另一半求婚時,有柔和的音調,偶爾搖晃的感覺,配上高水準食物及窩心的服務,對方能不動心嗎?

也許,你懶得在星期天弄早餐,又或者你想跟朋友在和煦的日光下,欣賞沿岸海景,不如就來一個Sunday Brunch,讓自己的身心都放鬆一下吧!

We'd received a call confirming our visit for lunch at 10am that morning. After being seated at restaurant for 10 minutes we received another call...I informed the girl that we were at a table but she checked us out anyway!As it was my birthday we decided to forgo the buffet appetiser and ordered the duck confit, chorizo, spinach and tomato salad. There were a few unhappy shreds of confit duck and about 4 times the amount of fat and skin which should have been crisped so that it contrasts with

As it was my birthday we decided to forgo the buffet appetiser and ordered the duck confit, chorizo, spinach and tomato salad. There were a few unhappy shreds of confit duck and about 4 times the amount of fat and skin which should have been crisped so that it contrasts with the flesh. It was inedible. The chorizo was carelessly served in clumps rather than scattered through the salad and several of the spinach leaves were slimy! Bad move...we should have had the buffet!
Our main courses were excellent. A prime dry aged Nebraska rib-eye cooked blue for my husband and the most tender and delicious braised short-rib with snails and red wine sauce for me.
We decided not to have dessert. Our glasses of sparking wine and red for the mains were very good.
Coffee was nothing special which seems to be the norm for most of Hong Kong!
If you are the slightest bit upset by being on a boat, this is not the place for you as there is the constant gentle movement from the sea swell!

樓底真的很高, 十分舒服~set lunch 一人188 左右再加一salad bar 真係不錯, 又有oyster 又有shrimp, d 菜好新鮮好靚main course我點了個魚, 比較淡, 朋友點了duck breast, 我食了一件, 不錯~加上42 元就可以點甜點, 我點了PETITS FOURS, 有4件小甜點, 味道一般set 加dessert加10%應該是$250一位個人認為食環境為主, salad bar 好食, main 同dessert 一般啦~特別日子/間中休閒可以一試~

At first arrival, the watermark seemed fairly impressive. We had considered a couple of restaurants that night but figured we'd give this a try after looking at the menu. We knew that this was a more expensive restaurant from the prices on the list - and as such expected the level of service, quality of food, and timeliness of our food arriving at our table to be top notch. At first arrival, the watermark seemed fairly impressive. We had considered a couple of restaurants that night but figured we'd give this a try after looking at the menu. We knew that this was a more expensive restaurant from the prices on the list - and as such expected the level of service, quality of food, and timeliness of our food arriving at our table to be top notch. Unfortunately this was not the case.

After we had sat down and looked through the menu, the waitress arrived and we asked for a recommendation on the steaks. It seemed like she kept going in circles, not really knowing in depth about the food. She gave 2 suggestions - both of which seemed like she was advised these were the choices she should say rather than actually having tried the food herself and give an actual preference. Descriptions of the food were vague and unhelpful.

We ordered a bottle of red wine, oysters, and 2 steaks.

The oysters were good - nothing out of the ordinary. After I had got the steaks we waited about 40 mins until the steaks arrived...way too long I'd say. We kept eating the bread on the table instead. When the steaks arrived, we were pretty excited - but once we started eating, it was very underwhelming - especially for $400+ HKD each steak,.

We both ordered steaks medium rare and mine came out more medium-well done. I've cooked a number of steaks in the past and knew just by the feel of my steak that it was not medium rare and that it was going to be way too dry, tough, and chewy for what I ordered - once i put it in my mouth, it was confirmed. I had raised it to waitress, and they did not acknowledge that fact. They did not even ask the question - "What would be your preference? Is this what you ordered?" A waitress trying to prove the customer wrong is not good customer service at all.

In addition, I had asked for blue cheese sauce and was given this yellowish sauce, definitely not blue cheese - I flagged down a waitress and asked what sauce it was, she said it was bearnaise sauce and would check with the kitchen. After a while, she did not return. I flagged down another waiter and asked what sauce it was, he said it was blue cheese. What blue cheese sauce tastes nothing like blue and is yellowish...simple, another sauce.

Overall, the restaurant came across as aesthetically pleasing, but really needs work on the quality of service (the waiters/waitresses did not know their menus, what their foods should taste like or look like). Unfortunately, I cannot say that I will come here or recommend it again - there are other restaurants with great views that I believe have a much better dining experience than this one.

Just came back from Spain and was trying to have some decent food and good atmosphere for a celebration dinner. The restaurant is located right on the top floor of the Star Ferry (in the Central). The entrance was horrible because it is located at one end of the pier and there was only one single (probably a 50W light bulb) lantern in a 'tunnel' that leads to the entrance of the restaurant. I suppose it would be nice for a Halloween night but not quite for a Friday evening. We have made a reservation but the waitress had reserved our table with a different name. The restaurant is so poorly designed that although there is an open view you can hardly enjoy the beautiful view of the Kowloon side. One of the characteristic is that you can really feel the ferry coming into the pier because you can feel the 'wobbly' moment. The aircons are even worst! No matter where you sit the 'strong' wind is always blowing to your forehead and/or to the back of your neck. Every table cloth was always flowing, if not flying. We have asked for many times to tune down the power of the wind. The answers were yes, OK, BUT nothing was done. One can hardly enjoy a meal with strong winds blowing right into one's face. The price is no doubt similar to that of a 4-5* hotel restaurant but the quality and the service were far from it. I have ordered a set dinner with a salad and a soup. The salad was ok with a typical caser salad like dressing. The soup was a bit salty but it went alright with the bread. Unfortunately, long before I finished my soup my main meal was sitting in front of me waiting for my consumption. My main dish was a piece of duck breast and a slice of foie gras. The taste of the food was ok but not really that brilliant. Maybe it’s my fault that I am not used to food of too rich a taste. The dessert was a cube of chocolate cake and it went well with the coffee. We have also ordered a seafood platter (for 4). The oysters were great especially the Irish one but the whelks and clams that I had were full of sand. Overall, I would say the service was OK but the restaurant is well below my expectation. The men's restroom was incredible! Water was probably overflowing from a faulty toilet and forming a stream on the floor. A plastic sign was erected so you have been warned and you better not wash your hand risking your life stepping over the sign! I am afraid to say that it’s difficult to believe that this is a restaurant recommended by the Cafe Deco Group. I don't think I will go to this restaurant again. Once is more than enough.

It's a bit pricey, but when dish by dish was served to us , we were was blown away with the food. I personally like the Prime hanging tender with garlic escargot. The beef mains was tender, meaty, tasty and packed with flavors.

After three-hours of chit-chats and laughters, this I must say is one fo the memorable dinners I had in Hong Kong. Not just becuase of company, but also the food, venue and corteous service packaged together. I will definitely come back again.

While everyone was being very patient and tried to ignore the waiting time, the appetizers took nearly an hour to be presented. We didn't order anything fancy, but mostly crab cakes, soup, and salad. Yes, the salad would require some pan-frying, but the soup and salad shouldn't need more than 2-3 min each (unless they were cooked from afresh)...

After finishing up the appetizers, the kitchen seemed to have sped up a bit and we were served after waiting for 30 min. I had ordered a lobster but changing the sides to steamed vegetable. Unfortunately, my order wasn't properly prepared and instead of bringing it back to the kitchen and prepared another plate, the original dish was being brought back and forth between the kitchen and the dining area 3 times. When my plate finally arrived, you could tell that the kitchen had simply used the same pieces of lobster that had become lukewarm, which I didn't really mind if the food was hot. Not only was the food wasn't hot, the lobster meat was puny (imagine having the same quantity of meat as 3 medium-sized shrimps). For $288, the dish was definitely way overpriced.

Situated right at the piers, the restaurant no doubt has a nice view, but given the food, the slow serving time, and the not-so unique view, I don't think this restaurant has enough to warrant a 2nd visit...at least I won't for sure.

點完餐後,侍應便為我們送上餐包,餐包是類似法包般長身的那一種,不過上枱時是凍的,而且有點硬,味道一般般。而附帶的一碟醬,味道清清的,質感creamy,有少少似乳酪。

先來的Jumbo Lump Crab Cake,以長形平面黑碟盛載著,蟹餅上方鋪滿了一層立體的frisee salad,加以杏仁片及蟹籽作點綴,蟹餅旁還有芒果味sauce供醮點,加上適量的pickled vegetable,襯托之下,賣相相當吸引。以appetizer來說,蟹餅的份量算是巨形的,外層麵包糠煎至金黃,脆卜卜的,最感意外的是切開蟹餅時有大量新鮮蟹肉(並不是加工製品的蟹柳)連同熱騰騰的忌簾汁流出,味道很鮮,我與女友都大讚好味!!!frisee salad亦十分新鮮,配以杏仁片及蟹籽,口感爽脆,個人認為醮以芒果sauce比醮olive oil 及black vinegar來吃,味道更清新,更有新鮮感。至於那堆醃漬雜菜,除了有雜菜絲外,更加了片片的芒果肉及用來點綴的薄荷葉,味道酸酸甜甜的,感覺冰涼,作為頭盤,起了開胃作用,very good!

吃罷頭盤,侍應便馬上替我倆收起吉碟。等侯主菜期間,與女友傾談片刻,品嚐一下紅酒,欣賞一下窗外美景,約數分鐘後,兩客主菜先後上枱,不用等太久,又可以讓我倆的胃部歇一歇,出餐的時間掌握得不錯,抵讚!

作為主菜的Spanner Crab Pizza,份量相當足夠,pizza餅底是薄薄的一種,材料方面亦十分豐富,除了大量新鮮蟹肉外,亦加了龍蝦肉、西班牙辣肉腸、車厘茄、牛油果及雜菜,特別一提的是材料底下滿是溶化了的芝士及pizza正中央更有兩大件新鮮蟹鉗肉,令人垂涎三尺。整體來說,批邊焗得十分鬆脆,蟹肉及龍蝦肉的鮮味滲進了pizza,加上質感creamy清淡的牛油果中和了辣肉腸的咸香,豐富了pizza味道的層次感,我與女友都吃得很滿足。

另一道主菜,Grilled 10oz Prime Dry-Aged Nebraska Rib Eye,配以酸忌廉馬玲薯、蘆筍及油浸蕃茄,medium的肉眼扒外皮烤至微焦,內裡是嫩粉紅色的,吃落十分軟腍,牛味不錯,亦有肉汁,縱使不醮附帶的黑椒汁,味道亦十分出色!而酸忌廉馬玲薯及蘆筍亦做得不錯,蘆筍很清甜!其實我與女友吃了半塊扒已經感到蠻飽肚的,不過,實在是太好味了,最後也被我掃清。

完成了main course及一整瓶紅酒後之後,想不到女友趁我到洗手間期order了一個甜品,到我回到座位準備埋單時,女友跟我說還有甜品。隨後,侍應端來這個點著蠟燭的Sticky Toffe Pudding ($68), toffe pudding做base,上面放著一球雲呢嗱雪糕及一些附有芝麻的脆片及士多啤梨,presentation也不錯吧,多謝女友的悉心安排!toffe pudding甜度適中,芝麻脆片味道較甜,咬落是黏黏的,味道不錯,而雪糕是女友的至愛,味道也ok!!!!!

開飯喇 ~ 餐前麵包,個人比較喜歡熱的呢,依度都係凍麵包。餐前麵包配個自家製酸乳胳巴馬芝士醬,依個汁酸酸甜甜又有淡淡芝士香味,好開胃又美味,跟麵包一併食真係冶味無窮,食唔停口,正呀。

海鮮併盤,有帶子、藍青口、花甲、大蜆、珍寶蟹、波士頓龍蝦、天使蝦、法國蠔、海螺、XO 醬魷魚及煙鯡魚。帶子,應該係澳洲帶子,好淡口,無鮮甜味,跟帆立貝完全無得比,口感軟棉棉。藍青口,烚得剛好無過火,肉質依然彈牙配埋淡淡海水咸味,正呀。花甲,全個併盤其中一樣好好味既海鮮,非常肥美,鮮甜可口,食多多都唔夠皮。大蜆,肉質同呎碼都有點削,較靭及淡。珍寶蟹,沒有膏、肉不太多、味道偏淡,鮮味係有既。波士頓龍蝦,唔錯唔錯,肉質鮮嫰彈牙,只不過始終澳洲龍蝦先最好味。天使蝦,比起波士頓龍蝦更鮮甜,味道更濃,肉質超爽且彈。法國蠔,鮮甜肥美,海水味較重,半爽半 creamy 既口感,只需略加鮮檸已好正。海螺,最初還以為會有南極翡翠螺食添,此海螺比起翡翠螺遜色得多,味淡、細小、肉質較腍,唔係爽、嚥靭那頪。XO 醬魷魚鬚,凍食好有趣,小小辣,都幾惹味架。煙鯡魚,第一次食,有啲似吞拿魚既口感同味道。

法國生蠔,原本係 irish rock,咁啱賣晒,所以轉左法國蠔。

鮮帶子刺生,應該係澳洲帶子,無味既。

花甲,超肥美鮮甜。

海螺,比起翡翠螺遜色得多,好淡口。

波士頓龍蝦,個人獨愛澳洲龍蝦。

法國海鮮濃湯,味道怪怪的,非筆墨可形容。濃湯跟海鮮係分開架,上到枱先將滾熱辣既湯跟海鮮混合。有帶子魷魚同蝦,香味好似龍蝦湯,但飲落有點苦澀味,所以怪怪的,而且質感不幼滑,鞋鞋地。

14 天美國密封存熟牛柳,空運抵港後,先係風櫃存佢 14 日,得牛柳既肉汁更濃縮、肉質更幼嫰,只切一間最靚嗰舊上枱,邊皮位全部去掉。今次都時舊 order medium rare 3 成熟左右,考考個廚師,就算牛柳咁厚,都可以煮到外脆內暖,肉質鮮紅嫰滑。不負眾望,煮理得宜,肉質軟棉棉,牛味濃且香,滿意。我都係鍾意肉眼多啲,較為有趙口及滑溜溜。就算係配菜亦半點唔馬虎,去皮鮮露筍,超爽甜,車厘茄煮得剛好外皮剝落,裡面熱辣辣,焗薯香味美味,good good good。

desert menu 花多眼亂,最後決定隻大跟既朱古力心太軟,軟心朱古力蛋糕。朱古力心太軟,軟心朱古力蛋糕,暖笠笠既朱古力軟心,86% 黑朱古力,好香濃既可可朱古力味,甜味未算太搶,我不吃甜,都好喜歡,配埋冰凍牛奶雪糕,口感特別,又凍又熱好有趣。

Today is my birthday, my gf arranged this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We ordered the champagne, appeitizer and main course and dessert and tea & coffee. The happening was....we ordered the wine (HKD 300 Half bottle) & I did the testing. However, the wine is so bad. So therefore, we would like to change another wine and hope that they could recommend a bottle of good wine together with the main course. The happening was....we ordered the wine (HKD 300 Half bottle) & I did the testing. However, the wine is so bad. So therefore, we would like to change another wine and hope that they could recommend a bottle of good wine together with the main course.

The manger Gabriel came to us and asked us DISCOURTEOUSLY about the wine, we told him that the wine isn't good & asked him to recommend a better one. He just kept argrying with us UNMANNERLY and doesn't want to change another bottle. The whole situation was extremely dissapointed, I had a very UNFAVOURABLE birthday. I definitely will not recommend to anyone who want to have a good dinner and good time. II am sure that HK have many restaurants where serving with a good service and resonable price. The service of the manager definitely is UNACCEPTABLE.

朋友介紹去watermark 同男友celebrate 佢生日. 一星期前訂檯. requested window seats. 佢地好好. 安排了一個好好view既海景table. 環境好寧靜又舒服, 服務態度一流食品質素都好新鮮又好好味. 上菜時間又控制得十分好......!食了兩個appertizers (oyster 加鵝肝)main courses (dry-age angus steaks 加 pasta)最後1 個dessert

約咗好友夜晚去中環ART JAMMING, 之前諗住去灣仔嘅VERO飲嘢睇日落, 因為好掛住佢哋嘅熱朱古力, 但因為有人BOOK咗做FUNCTION, 所以改去碼頭嘅WATERMARK. 之前喺到做過嘢, 已覺得個環境好靚, 今次決定喺到DINNER. 一行近餐廳門口已經好開心, 因為入口已好有聖誕氣氛, 而餐廳設計都好有格調, 好適合情侶拍拖. 由於我哋好早到, 所以包場, 但要求坐窗口位置都被拒絕(可以喺一小時內離開). Anyway, 我哋兩個人點咗一海鮮湯share, 銀雪魚扒, parma ham & prawn pizza 同warm chocolate pudding w/ vanilla ice cream. -海鮮湯: 幾濃郁, 都多海鮮, 但味道有啲港式. On side 嘅面包粒幾香口, 配個cream sauce效果幾特別.-銀雪魚扒: 好差, 魚無魚味, 可以話係無味, 就算配埋個sauce食都幫唔到, 所以退咗.-Parma ham & prawn pizza: 好得, 尤其是熱辣辣食個陣, 個皮好漙好脆, tomato sauce好香濃, 中和咗parm

-Parma ham & prawn pizza: 好得, 尤其是熱辣辣食個陣, 個皮好漙好脆, tomato sauce好香濃, 中和咗parma ham嘅鹹味. 蝦就普通, 又係無乜味.

-Warm chocolate pudding w/ vanilla ice cream: 味道OK. 朱古力味唔算好RICH, 雪糕冰得制.

雖然今次食嘅食物唔算好好食, 而且SERVICE麻麻, 但都會再嚟試, 因為環境氣氛好好, 而且好平, 兩個人先食咗三百幾蚊, 有咁好既環境仲包場(七點半走), 一定會再返嚟試其他嘢食.
