The food was so bad we had to make an open rice account.

1. Horrible service. Our original waiter was fine but when the "manager wanna be" decided to excuse his staff and take over, everything went down hill from there.

2. The recommendation of the night (Linguine Pasta) was the worst dish of the night not that the rest were much better. But come on, don't recommend something that is going to SUCK!

3. The salads were so incredibly salty that 2 of the plates had to be sent back, uneaten. Since we wanted to be fair, we made everyone try some and mind you we had 12 people and EVERYONE said it was wayyy too salty.

4. EVERYTHING WAS OVERSEASONED!

When food gets sent back, either take the cost off the bill or remake it. Neither was done and in addition to that, they charged us MORE FOOD THAN WE ACTUALLY ATE.

We will absolutely not be returning to this restaurant and we do not recommend anyone else to do so.

went to this place a few days ago and it is so incredibly poor it compelled me to open an openrice account to write about my experience. in summary: 1) the portions & price doesn't match up. although the taste was original and creative (the asian-italian fusion angle), it left me hungry afterwards and i ended up buying something else to eat post dinner...at this price range, i'd rather pay just a little more to eat at grissini or sabatini. burrata salad...for $95 you get 1 burrata, few arugul

in summary:

1) the portions & price doesn't match up. although the taste was original and creative (the asian-italian fusion angle), it left me hungry afterwards and i ended up buying something else to eat post dinner...at this price range, i'd rather pay just a little more to eat at grissini or sabatini. burrata salad...for $95 you get 1 burrata, few arugula leaves (i mean a few...), and some thai sauce on the side. double thumbs down

2) since they are charging fine dining prices,i'd assume they are going for the fine dining experience. if its going for fine dining experience, then don't have the rubber boots wearing dishwasher walking back and forth, or the bartender with his loud army boots click clacking around the dining area, or the waiting staff looking uninspired and bored (understandable considering the dining room was empty...)

3) the pasta was undercooked (and i like my pasta al dente...)

they got a lot of competition just upstairs (3/F, 6/F, 8/F...). if it wants to survive, they'd better revamp (bigger portions and lower prices...).

Service: Mains took over an hour to arrive from order, we waited at least half an hour after our appetizers were done, dusted and taken away. Granted, we were a table of 14, but it was hard to watch the table next to us who had arrived after our appetizers had been served, finish their appetizers and mains before our own mains came out.  When we complained, they gave us the standard song and dance excuse that is common for hong kong but unacceptable for a restauraunt of this class.

Food was described on the menu as "artisinal" and the menu sounding innovative but against these expectations the flavors were rather ordinary. High point were the fried oysters with creamed spinach which were delicious.  Spaghetinni was insufficiently al dente but tasty nonetheless. Roasted cauliflower was good as well, though again failing to live up to the menu description. The crustino, egg yolk filled, was too tempting to not order. But the bread was simply too tough to cut through with a serrated knife. We returned the dish - to their credit, the offered to remake it and comp it, but we declined, and that earned us a frown from the waiter.

Service, again wasn't horrible but at the end of the day was disappointing. The waiter was eager and was helpful in helping us order for the group, though one in our group found him annoyingly pushy. Reasonable complaints only begot frowns and excuses rather than apologies and real explanations. We asked for just a plain scoop of ice cream for desert, and they explained that they didn't have ice cream. It was only after pressing that in fact they had gelato (not ice cream, mind you), but would only serve it with an espresso, to which it was paired on the menu. Again, understandable for a chain restauraunt with amateur staff, but shocking inflexibility for a place professing an "artisinal" approach.

I wouldn't talk a couple on a first date out of going - the interior is nice and the menu fancy - but I won't be returning there.

I was at Doppio Zero for lunch today and it was very very delicious. Unfortunately, I did not bring my camera, so no pictures... I ordered the Salmon Ravioli, which were today's Special. The taste was balanced between the fresh made pasta, the salmon filling and the sauce.. It was absolutely delicious, so delicious, that the portion could have been a bit bigger. I ordered the Salmon Ravioli, which were today's Special. The taste was balanced between the fresh made pasta, the salmon filling and the sauce.. It was absolutely delicious, so delicious, that the portion could have been a bit bigger.
The lunch Set came with an appetizer, where I chose the fritti (Crispy shrimp / sole and calamari, which came with a malt vinegar & parsley sauce). Again, very balanced and the seafood was very crispy! Really not comparable with the normal Fish&Chips-Shit you get served normally in HK.
Also the Espresso (lavazza) was nice, although it hasn't had a nice crema.
Unfortunately I did not ve enough time to try the Yin Yang Affogato - a milk tea gelato with espresso and peanut butter cookie... but I will come back a second time!

FRITTI MISTI - Fried "Polenta Crusted" Shrimps, Sole and Calamari
Came with a Malt Vinegar & Parsley Sauce, which worked really well together with this dish. There were a lot of seafood and fried really well. The polenta crust coating might give it a strange harder-bite to those not familiar with this frying method. For me I enjoy the harder coasting too!! 9/10

IN HOME MADE TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE - (Half Portion)
This Bolognese sauce is a fairly white and slightly creamy version. It has a thickly grinded meat/sausage texture. For me, I think it is subtly herbed correctly, but needs a slight acidity from tomato to make this a better balanced dish. The house made Tagliatelle pasta had a good slippery yet bitey texture. Could do with slightly more eggs or flour flavour. 6.8/10

YIN YAN AFFOGATO - Milked Tea Gelato, Lavazza Espresso Shot & Peanut Butter Cookie ($40)
This was a smart & playful combination between a HK style Milk Tea Gelato with an Espresso, hence the name Yin Yang which refers to the hybrid tea and coffee drink in Cha Chaan Teng culture. This worked exceptionally well with the crumbly and buttery Peanut Butter Cookie.

A pretty interesting new Italian dining joint. At Lunch they are aiming for a more Casual approach, whereas the Night Dinner Menu is filled with some surprising goodies ranging from fried Sweet Breads to an affordably priced Burrata cheese ! Looking forward to coming back soon...

APPETIZER 3 款都有點, 3款都好好食. YEAH!

海鮮拼, 炸得好好食, 尐炸粉係粗但好質感, 唯是個粉好唔貼. 解: 食材太新鮮 BY 餐廳

PASTA 等好耐先來啊...

先講我呢個是日特選, 裡面有潤腸 (我係因為覺得好得意先叫呢個!) + 八爪魚, 味道係有頭到尾都係辣辣的, 很得意, 難形容, 盞鬼, 但又唔可以講唔好食. 聞是絕對的香啊~

MEAT BALL PASTA - 呢個係無咩驚喜, 穩陣之選. 個 MEAT BALL 要注意係 牛+豬 MIX, 不吃牛者要注意. 同事問先知, 切開後有點點紅, 擔心左一下. 可惜個 MEAT BALL 真唔多 OK, 似 PLASTIC BALL 咁... 怪怪. PASTA TASTE OK.

呢個真係唔知叫咩 炸魷魚圈 PASTA, 因為係 DELICATE MADE. 味道有尐人食到好辣, 有尐無咩味, 食到最尾好多 OIL 啊... 呢個係鮮製麵, 就唔太欣賞. 可能廣東人既標準跟外國人有不同, 就覺得唔 "煙韌".

食完之後, 個 WAITER 又問我地要唔要飲品同 DESSERT. 呢點好怪, 我地一直都覺得個 JUICY 就係餐飲.

咪道對我來說好新鮮好特別, 但唔算十分討好. 集大眾既口味都唔算太岩食. 意見就是個 MENU 好亂, 份量太少(有 full & half 既份量, 但我地叫 full 都無人食得飽咁~), 沒有 DESSERT咁. 就覺得唔太合適一般上班族去食. 因為番工用腦 OR 體力既人, 咁少既份量唔多補充到. 加上, free dessert 同 價錢應該係正比, 所以無 dessert 就覺得呢個價太貴.
