上星期五和太座到Chesa食晚飯, 準時七點到, 嘩!我地原來係第一檯客, 我們坐旁邊二人平排位, 還是頭一次在高級餐廳用這種坐法食飯, 視線寬闊, 座位幾懷舊, 木製的檯和椅都很闊落, 地方雖然不大但整個環境非常有在家吃飯的感覺, 讚!服務方面, 小平和其他待應都很Helpful, 雖然小平比較多野講, 但言談間我都學到好多關於瑞士菜的特色及芝士以外的食物如野味, 各待應對菜色的烹調方法及味道都非常了解,令大家在上菜前後都有交流。讚!食物方面我地要兩個頭盤,鵝肝和芝士新薯,智利紅酒一杯,主菜點了羊架,甜品要薑味梳乎里及Chocolate Mousse(with double cream),最後太座和我用鮮菊花茶及咖啡作結尾。除了薑味梳乎里偏甜一點外,其他都Perfect。再說一次半島的double cream 真係無得頂!一間出色的餐廳不單要主菜有水準,連每樣配菜都必須要一樣有水準。像鵝肝中的apple coulis 和無花果(好好味),芝士新薯伴碟的橄欖和酸瓜,羊架伴碟的燒番茄和燒蒜頭(好好味),Chocolate Mousse 的double cream(Super Rich)A

一間出色的餐廳不單要主菜有水準,連每樣配菜都必須要一樣有水準。像鵝肝中的apple coulis 和無花果(好好味),芝士新薯伴碟的橄欖和酸瓜,羊架伴碟的燒番茄和燒蒜頭(好好味),Chocolate Mousse 的double cream(Super Rich)

-> 好食、牛尾好淋、夠入味,不過紅酒味欠奉
-> 伴碟薯茸好creamy,重奶味,個人唔太鍾意

5.朱古力小屋
-> 既浪漫兼富心思的甜品,自己好鍾意
-> 用少甜朱古力做小屋的外牆、包住雲呢嗱雪糕配
無甜味的cream,朱古力醬另上,要幾甜自己話事

6.朱古力六小件
-> 食晒所有野餐廳會自動奉上
-> 三個款色,每款兩粒,最鍾意透明果粒

It was a memorable night at Chesa. Thanks for my lovely girlfriend for arranging such a lovely place for my birthday celebration on 16 Nov 06.Firstly, have a brief talk on the restaurant settings. Firstly, have a brief talk on the restaurant settings. Unlike other restaurants in Peninsula such as Felix, the decoration was not grand or magnificent. Instead, it gave us a very warm and romantic feeling. As others’previous comments, the restaurant looks like a cabin.

We ordered the following:
-Assorted seafood platter (Appetizer)
-Melted cheese with potato (Appetizer)
-Ox tail (main course)
-Lamb rack (main course)
-Chocolate house (Dessert “my birthday special”)
-A bottle of red wine

The dishes were all luscious, especially the melted cheese and ox tail. The salty and warm melted cheese gave me a great enjoyment and the ox tail was as tender as recommended. All these two were remarkable.

Originally, I had ordered a baked apple tart, my favourite, as our dessert. Later, surprise came with a chocolate house as my birthday special. This was a choco house filled with homemade cream. This special was also wonderful as the homemade cream was very milky.

Finally, about the services, the waiters were all friendly and cheerful. I was happy to have such a wonderful evening at this romantic cabin restaurant.

Well, it was our first encounter at this famous top 10 restaurant of Openrice.

Let's begin with the settings. The decoration was very European, and it is so warm that i had to take off my jacket. It was definitely a very good place to visit in winter, to celebrate x'mas and new year.

We ordered what the other crtics at the site recommended: pan fried goose liver, melted cheese, seafood rolls and ox tail.

They were all wonderful except for the goose liver which carried so much aroma of wine, as my friend complained,"it's like taking a glass of red wine". And the seafood rolls were not made of seafood but only with a prawn on the top of them instead; nevertheless, the lobster sauce was just great for going with the rolls.

ox tail was as tender as expected and recommended.

I faked it as it was my friend's birthday when i made the reservation on the phone as to order the famous chocolate house. well, it's not as delicate as expected: i thought it was like a house made of chocolate walls with chocolate candys in it; instead, it was only cream inside. Anyways, my friend looked happy (were u really?) when i said it was the compensation for her birthdays in the last 2 years when i was not around.

The service was just right. One thing worths mentioning is their excellent selection of wine, although i was not allowed to drink much, i would tell from their wine list and the only glass which i was permitted to have.

We took pics in the hotel after the meal.

I had a wonderful evening and i hope my friend did too. To be honest, i am still in the same mood as last night, and i know it will last for quite some time.

第一次到chesa, 很開心, 是在萬聖節, 為什麼萬聖節到chesa慶祝, 不到老蘭? 因為那正是小妹的生日. 哈哈!朋友做了功課, 覺得這餐廳很好, 故特意訂了這裡, 還故作神秘, 事前沒有聲明地點. 最後知道去半島, 已猜到是這裡, 因為日本餐廳, 已到訪過. 而其餘的中菜, BBQ, 興趣都不大. 所以…哈哈, 被我估中了! 3. 紅酒汁燴牛尾配薯蓉: 牛尾是我絶對不會點的一道菜, 但由於評價很高, 所以點了. 果然沒有另我們失望. 牛尾很淋, 原來牛尾仲有好像牛根的軟組織, 很軟, 很滑, 很入味! 而薯蓉也不失水準, 很香滑, 很稀, 想必是加了大量牛奶和牛油煮成. 很不錯呢!
4. 海鮮腸: 個腸其實唔算特別, ok好味, 但龍蝦汁好好味! 好似強化版的龍蝦湯, 無錯! 即係超濃縮龍蝦湯, 加上底下少少的千層麵伴吃, 都ok!
5. 最後, 很開心, 突然有一間朱古力小屋走出來. 當然, 小屋係沒有腳的, 係侍應拿了一間朱古力小屋出來, 還點了爉燭, 很開心呢! 拆屋係我的強項, 一幅幅的牆, 就係我的領導下, 被我拆毀了! 哈哈!

多謝朋友仔! 一個悉心的安排! 很開心的一個生日!

昨天假期,跟簡生約埋老友Simon到半島Lunch, Chesa的環境給人往warm的感覺, 在這裹食飯坐上三個多小時,不经不覺時間流逝得那麼快, 我們各自order 了不同的set lunch,starter我要咗Tuna 沙律,有幾片半熟Tuna,好嫩口,三文魚蛋卷好香和一些雜菜,醬汁都調得好好味,主菜要咗焗魚(唔太清楚是什麼鱼),口感幾嫩滑,有點像鱸魚,底部放了很多薯仔片,芝士汁都唔錯, 甜品要了拿破倫,這個甜過頭,只食咗兩啖,加埋一杯咖啡及一些朱古力,巳是非常滿足的一餐,簡生order的牛仔肩和Simon的羊架,他們都說不錯,美中不足是portion比較細,另Cheese on toast也oder 了一客,這個只能說OK啦!其實二百幾元一個Lunch,以這裹環境,服務,食物質素是十分超值的,不過今次可能是order setlunch, 食物感覺像西餐,下次一定要試試這裏正式的瑞士菜.

had dinner with family. the last time i tried the seafood sausage was one year ago. it is still wonderful. love it very much. we also had lobster soup, goose liver, mushroom on toast as appentiser. i tried a little bit of each of it. all taste very good. the mushroom on toast is quite heavy. it had an egg on it. very lovely, look liked a breakfast.main course had grilled baby groupa, veal with mushroom and lamb chop. the veal is a little bit hard this time. and the lamb chop is smaller than befo

had farwell lunch with friends. ordered five set lunch:appentiser: the cream of peas soup is very good. the honey duck breast on orange and apple salad is so so. may be i don't really like duck breast. main course: braised lamb shank and grilled halibut in saffron tomato broth. the tomato broth is very refreshing. i dipped it all with bread. but another main course, pork fillet was not good. very dry. dessert: lemon tart, white chocolate and poppy seed moouse cake and butter pudding. all tastes

had farwell lunch with friends. ordered five set lunch:

i think last time the hot chocolate was a mistake. it was treated as a seperate order. i only got one cup of hot chocolate this time.

the service yesterday was not very good. not enough waiter. we waited for a long time to request for water refill.

overall, not very satisfactory. especially i brought my friend to have farewell lunch.

我男朋友9月23日同我去左Chesa 食dinner慶祝生日, 初初佢話booked 左去半島食飯, 我個心都有d驚, 會唔會好high, 好貴呢, 後來去到目的地之後, 感覺好warm, d waiter好有禮貌, 服務都好好, 頭盤我點左salard(法式汁)佢食凍鵝肝,鵝肝配上toast好味道! 主菜我點左鱸魚, 好滑! 男朋友食羊肉, 佢勁讚, 皮剪到很脆, 我本身一向都唔太好羊肉, 都唔覺得有so味. 仲order左一杯紅酒同一杯白酒, 心諗會唔會好貴呢? 最後埋單約$1200蚊,都acceptable. 只係個生日朱古力屋就兒戲d, 不太特別.整體上都係滿意, 會再去...

  第二道係芝士新薯,比我們預期中無噤好食,因為碟菜一落,我0地已經即刻食,但d芝士已經唔夠熔,像一塊烘了的乾芝士,且芝士味道偏鹹,無咩特別,而d薯仔同配菜就ok。
  第三道係紅酒汁燴牛尾配薯蓉,d牛尾都幾“林”,而d薯蓉同什菜沙律都好好味,但個紅酒汁就比較無驚喜。這道菜兩個人食,都各有兩大件牛尾,好抵食!!~
  吃完點了的菜後,我心裡想著,侍應們會否記得我訂了朱古力屋仔呢?!~因為他們清完後,沒有什麼動靜似的。我就耐心的等著,無幾耐,他們就靜俏俏拿著朱古力屋仔在我男友後面上,那時,男友的表情既突然又說不出的感動,真的多謝侍應們全晚的細心安排及服務,令那晚非常難忘。
  有機會都想試0下呢度0既set lunch。希望到時不會太嘈啦!!~因為坐滿晒人都幾嘈的。

先來麵包, 凍凍的, 點解? 味道偏鹹, 但反而幾合我心水.

鴨胸清湯: 9分, 清清地. 有時而D清湯都幾濃, 今次就剛好, 加上鴨胸的點綴, 鴨胸無因為放入湯內而變老, 美味. 一人一碗, 讓腸胃預備一下.

生牛肉沙律: 9分, 老許的黑椒生牛肉血肉橫飛, 而碟生牛肉沙律就平易近人得多, 生牛肉薄薄的, 配上小小菜, 露荀同沙律汁, 帶出了牛肉的鮮味. 正.

文迪平時基本上唔食乜生嘢, 今次例外.

煎銀鱈魚: 9分, 其實我們兩個都唔太好魚, 但而味煎銀鱈魚又幾好, 唔湦, 配上淡淡的醬汁同配菜, 幾清新.

羊扒: 8分, 全日來講比較失色的菜色, 老婆大人怕食得太生, 要了Medium, 始終扒類食物要Medium或以上較容易失手. 我覺得部份肉質老了一點, 個汁就好正, 係少了一點, 唔多夠撈, 但整體來講都算係滿意的一碟.

蜜桃湯配荔枝雪芭: 10分, 買相漂亮, 荔枝雪芭相當清甜, 無平時食雪芭嗰種過度冰冷感, 撈埋浸住蜜桃湯的蜜桃肉, 兩種感覺一齊放進口中, 甜而不膩. 蜜桃肉唔係地記的貨色, 食落口好爽甜, 又無俾一大浸糖水浸到過甜.

我而個蜜桃發燒友, 一直追尋美味的蜜桃. 去到Bellagio同Wynn都要大手大手咁食完蜜桃先食長腳蟹. 但蜜桃甜品一直未遇見合心水的, 之前試過什麼蜜桃批等等都不太好, 終於等到而個蜜桃湯配荔枝雪芭, 極度滿意.

10分的甜品!!

焗香蕉配雲呢拿雪糕: 9分, 外皮很脆, 入面的香蕉肉撈埋雲呢拿雪糕, 又係Perfect Match, 唔通伍樂城同林夕先係Perfect Match?

咖啡: 9分, 半島的咖啡依然唔會令人失望, 香濃又幾滑溜. 無UCC114同117嗰種苦澀, 文迪平時唔飲咖啡今次都一飲而清.

朱古力雙拼: 9分, 以一碟自家製的朱古力作結尾, 兩種味道每樣三件, 細細粒, 香橙朱古力有點點橙味, 原味朱古力的朱古力味就比較濃烈. 兩樣都好.

食得非常豐富, 都係$500兩位, 依然係5個5的水準. 侍應服務細心, 我而D自認食家, 當然想每樣都試一試. 侍應主動幫我們安排每碟都可分吃. 食物水準仍然高企, 唔會係午餐就求求其其.

如果你未同你的另一半食過Chesa, 真係一定要試. 係歐洲美國都幾難用咁嘅價錢搵到咁嘅飲食旅程.

行落大堂, 一條長長的人龍等食高茶, 點解咁大間酒店都要用澳門茶餐廳的排隊方法. 半島都要做勢?

the service was great, food was not bad either..i ordered a gooselive which tasted really good but i dun thk it worths the price. and the cheese fondue is really not my cup of tea...the oxtail is good and the chocolate moose is good as welli went on a thur nite, it was quite full and mobile phone kept ringing every 10 seconds which was really disturbing, n the table next to mine burst out laughing hysterically occassionally which kinda spoiled the mood of that elegant roomanyway, i still believe

Dessert 1: frozen mango souffle. sweet. i like warm souffle more

Dessert 2: Apple crumble with pineapple sorbet. not very special but tasty.

Mocha is creamy. hot chocolate is extremely good. it served in a pot and it can distribute four cups! the best hot chocolate in the town.

the food is not the same as the ones at night. but much much cheaper
