I chose the Tomato Beef Noodles with Tendon and Shank ($88). There was a big piece of cooked tomato on top. The soup was rich and thick with a heavy tomato presence. It was more like a borscht. I chose the thick noodle and portion was a lot. The noodle clung to the soup well and was very smooth. The tendon was soft and melted in my mouth. The shank was so soft and tender.
Boyfriend had the Braised Beef Noodle with Tripe, Tendon and Shank ($92). The soup wasn't too spicy and had an intense beef taste. He chose the thin noodle and we both agree. The thin noodle was a better match for the soup. The tripe was soft and tender. But again it was the shank that was the star. Literally one of the best we've had in Hong Kong.
Price was pretty expensive but it tasted quite good. Comparable to the one in Taiwan? Pretty much but not as expensive.
