值得一提的是該店特製的麵豉醬,配上新鮮的椰菜,carrot條做前菜,別具風格。配上其燒物 味道特出 滋味無比

埋單每人大概$250 價錢相當合理 復活節假期必會再來

The food overall is good. But what they are charging for (i.e. 1 skewer of beef = $68, and min order is 2 skewers = 136) is not reasonable for the quality and environment.The Environment is just average, in fact, some seat's cushion are broken. When I saw the priceless, I just thought, it doesn't match the environment. If the decoration shows "quality", I can accept the price list, but unfortunately I feel what I paid for is not worth the revisit. Service-wise .... there were only our table i

叫了鹽燒鯖魚定食 (好似 $58), 跟前菜, 味噌湯, 白飯及飲品; 另加了 $10 要了兩串串燒:-
前菜係菠菜 + 冬菇, 整體味道極清, 不過菠菜味都幾突出, 清清哋當「漱口」都不錯.
串燒 #1 燒茄子: 面頭放了大量木魚絲, 做得乾身, 一般香口, 食落我覺得有點「太」爽脆, sok sok 聲的, 還是較薄身又軟身一點的較啱口味...
串燒 #2 燒雞頸肉: 豬頸肉食得多,「雞」頸肉真係第一次食
肉質幾嫩, 食落軟腍腍的, 帶點鹹香及黑胡椒的辛辣, 幾得意亦幾好食.
燒鯖魚: 燒得乾身, 無油, 皮薄脆如紙, 肉又唔會乾乾柴柴; 酸汁就帶幾強烈的酒味 (係咪「味醂」?), 又酸酸的好開胃, 配燒魚一流

白飯: 算乾身, 但一般飽滿黏韌, 米香亦一般, 睇嚟唔係日本米?
味噌湯就得啖笑, 賣相「沖粉」, 味道就鹹得帶點苦, 飲了一啖立即將佢放埋一邊

餐飲要了熱咖啡, 唔算好濃厚, 但至少唔酸又唔苦澀, 落糖落奶後都幾香滑, 收貨了.

朋友食 deluxe 串燒定食 (好似 $138), 有 5 款自選串燒, 跟自選前菜, 迷你魚生丼及飲品:
前菜係冷豆腐, 又名「冷奴」: 醬汁帶點甜又帶點酒味 (又係「味醂」?), 豆腐就係「冰鎮」的
, 夠晒凍又夠晒滑溜, 豆味亦清香, 好食.
魚生丼就無試了, 見到有角切的赤身, 鯛魚 (?), 三文魚, 玉子及青瓜, 再灑上飛花籽, 賣相都不錯, 唔知好唔好食?
串燒揀了 (見圖, 左起) (1) 牛舌, (2) 牛肋骨, (3) 鹽燒虎蝦, (4) 荔枝豬肉卷及 (5) 牛油薯仔:
- (1) 幾厚切, 燒得乾身, 質感豐厚, 食落爽身鹹香唔「擦膠」, 正

- (2) 亦燒得乾身香口, 不過脂肪較多, 食落都幾膩...
- (3) 朋友知我鍾意食海鮮,「割愛」請我食了成隻蝦
燒得唔會太乾, 蝦肉食落爽實香口, 比 e.g. 呢間西餐廳 (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=1988293) 好食得多

- (4) 係呢度「名物」, 豬肉薄薄一層, 唔乾唔硬, 味道就被荔枝 (罐頭?) 的勁甜 (糖水?) 及勁多汁完全蓋過, 我覺得唔算好好食, 不過係幾得意又幾有特色的.
- (5) 原來又係招牌之一?
牛油味唔算濃, 不過薯味香, 食落又帶點爽口 (!?), 都幾好食.
- 仲有自家製的串燒醬料, 味道勁似落了酒的腸粉甜醬
, 又幾香麵豉味, 唔知乜來?
餐飲就係熱奶茶, 無試了, 不過茶底好深色, 又奉上花奶, 應該差極好個譜?

燒物幾好食, 環境及服務亦好, 感覺亦係幾有心的店, 印象不錯的.
食得好歎的一餐 lunch, 埋單每人約 $115, 值得試試.

跟友人去食lunch , 今次係是但係恆和鑽石pick 一間, 叫咗個 lunch set.呢個串燒set全部係雞, 有雞亦、雞肉、雞軟骨、雞皮同鵪鶉蛋。People who love chicken will like it. 個set 仲有跟飯同miso soup同飲品.友人 ordered 另一個自選串燒set, appetizer 是凍蕃茄, 之後自選串燒5串, 一個魚生飯再跟飲品, 問友人d魚生新鮮嗎? 他說暫時未知, 個肚未有反應住, 哈哈!!好好食又不算得, 不過環境算舒服, 這天lunch 連我們只有3table 客人, 傾談不用大聲嗌.

This is already the second time I have come to this restaurant. The food is still good as I remember it. And the pace which the food arrived was quite fast, comparing to the other famous yakitori place. All yakitori were good. The prawn tempura was however not so good. The prawns were quite skinny.

上星期六既返Church飯食唔到,今次做足功課,終於@崇光附近搵到啦......叫左一個$138既餐,20揀5種串燒,另外仲有天婦羅蕎麥麵......餐飲叫左柚子茶,溫度唔會太熱,正正常常,而蕎麥麵味唔算好夠,但湯底足昆布味同清,可以送串燒;另外一讚既係天婦羅部份,唔算好油,冬菇夠新鮮,南瓜亦好綿=)免治雞肉串同雞骨豬肉腸都係好熱既時候入口既,前者可能有雞軟骨,所以好有咬口;另外腸仔都ok;之後既汁燒牛柳弱左少少,汁多但冇咩牛味;另外牛舌調味幾好,可惜涼左少少,唔係幾咬得開;最後既牛肋骨係驚喜,放涼左都唔影響味道同埋口感=)如果真係唔叫餐,講真係幾貴,一定要@Happy Hour半價去食*

To start with, we order clam in sake soup, sake was mild and the clam were so fresh and fatty, I wonder if these are indeed hamakuri (蛤 big clam), my hubby bottom up the sake soup, such an alcoholic….

My favorite was the chicken wings stuff with mentaiko 明太子, ,it’s a crispy wing stuffed with roe, chicken wing is so juicy, I remember having similar wonderful stuffed chick wing was in 農圃, this is the 1st time I had it in JP style, much better than stuffing with sticky rice …. Oishii ne.

Gyu tan 牛タン was another unforgettable dish, it’s not uncommon dish but to grill it just rite and juicy is not common, my hubby had 3 pcs i!!! Given it’s thickness, it’s such a value for money, ha.

There are vege served with miso dip--- that's refreshing and that helps to taste different meats better when the mouth is “clean”.

To my extreme surprise was the grill mochi, it’s crispy and slightly salty outside and so soft inside. It makes me think of the soy sauce grill mochi in Kyoto, those food stand on the way to the temples.

My husband is so satisfied (and drunk)…… we'll come back again.

actually this is the 3rd japanese restaurants i try in 恒和鑽石大廈.1st of all, the food is very common and nothing special. i was upset by 3 thingsa) i see one skewer drops on the table and the cook picks it up and put onto the dish again and serve to customers. how come?b) i do not think the cook can speak foul language in front of me, u know i m your restaurant customer (of course he blames others, not me)c) i order one dish of japan beef biscuit. i only ate half and give up. i can taste somewhere

c) i order one dish of japan beef biscuit. i only ate half and give up. i can taste somewhere cold. terrible

however one skewer is good is pork with "lee chi". for others, just so so.

hope they improve the quality of serving and improve the hygiene issue.

So after craving for yakitori for a few weeks I finally got to have dinner at Bicho with a few friends. This is what we had: Tofu salad: Not bad...pretty refreshing to start off the meal. Tofu was a tad too soft since it fell apart easily when using chopsticks. Dressing was nice though.Eggplant with bonito flakes skewers: Not bad. So after craving for yakitori for a few weeks I finally got to have dinner at Bicho with a few friends. This is what we had:

Tofu salad: Not bad...pretty refreshing to start off the meal. Tofu was a tad too soft since it fell apart easily when using chopsticks. Dressing was nice though.

Eggplant with bonito flakes skewers: Not bad. Bonito flakes were a nice touch but I'm not sure it really elevated the dish from being a simple grilled eggplant.

Chicken wings stuffed with fish roe skewers: Delicious! Lots of chicken meat and the roe gave it some added richness and texture.

Fried whole tomato: Tasted a little like tomato provencal (seared tomato) and it was very tasty. The outer crust/breading looked super thin which was unexpected. Has a really meaty bite to it. Thumbs up.

Fugu (puffer fish) jerky: If you didn't tell me this was fugu I would have never guessed it. Mayo sauce was a nice touch. Not bad.

Quail egg skewers: I'm a big egg fan but this to me wasn't executed well. The texture of the egg whites came out kind of rubbery and flavorless.

Beef tongue skewers: Another standout! Tongue was a little on the chewier side (presonal preference) but very flavorful and yummy. Will definitely order this again.

Beef skewers: Pretty tasty and simple. The yaki glaze worked well for this dish.

Grilled onigiri (rice balls) with fish roe or salmon filling: Another miss in my book. The filling to rice ratio was way too small so basically you felt like you were just eating grilled rice balls with no filling (somewhat flavorless). Super dense and heavy...don't think I will order this again unless I am really hungry.

Lychee wrapped bacon skewers: Their signature dish lived up to the hype. I had no idea bacon and lychee would work well together but it did. The bacon fat was infused in the lychee which made it taste almost meaty with a slight sweet finish. Another very tasty dish.

Scallion wrapped bacon skewers: A good dish. To often than not the scallions are cooked to a point where they are too soft and drenched with bacon fat. In this case the scallions still felt like they had some body and was a nice counterpoint to the bacon.

Grilled cod skewers: Good execution. I'm not sure grilling it on skewers made it taste any different from grilling it regularly but the fish meat was flaky and flavorful. Had a nice little smokey taste to it as well. Another good dish.

Overall I was quite happy with the meal. Out of 12 items I can easily say I would reorder 7 dishes next time I am there. Service was good outside of a few things coming a little slowly but the manager immediately fixed the issue. Environment wise the restaurant at no point felt smoky (which is common with a lot of yakitori places) and was quite comfortable. The bill came out to be $260 each (we had 5 people eating) which although not cheap I think is quite reasonable since we ate quite a lot (I think we got a slight discount for using American Express).

Bicho...I will visit you again next time I am craving yakitori

小弟的爐端燒的fans, 前陣子來這間餐廳一試, 地方/食物值得推介台與台之間空間充足, 裝修也有格調, 食物撰擇多, 比一般的爐端燒豐富, 淨看menu也要5分鐘, 好了, 再多食物我也是主力爐端燒, 推介鵝肝, 牛舌, 汁燒蠔, 青酒煮 clam, 質數都是很不錯, 只是價錢也比一般貴點, 大概10%吧小插曲, 不知是否誤會, 我發覺其他人埋單都有打折(那天只有我那台是本地人), 在我埋單時我還以為自動會有, 但卻有點失望, 可能是幫助旅遊業吧

朋友聚會, big j 話想食日式串燒, 於是去左呢度. 我地仲趕得到happy hour, 咁d野就半價唔算貴嘅响銅鑼灣黎講, 同埋d waiter 服務真係唔錯, 可以下次再去lor, 因為人唔多, 我地講野可以大聲d 好可惜冇雞心個d 內臟食, 不過仲有雞皮...第一次order唔係咁好食, 第二次d雞皮燒到卜卜脆 yum yum! 減肥都唔理得咁多...磨菇好好食...可能係一直都鍾意食啦
