不錯的食 lunch 選擇 !! Lunch 真係好抵食 - 一個 set 有埋甜品 (ice cream) 都只是$70, 而且份量不少的, 女士們一定會好夠飽 ! 魚生方面款式多, 夠新鮮, Lunch set 都有十個以上的選擇, 任何 Lunch set 都包括 濆物, 餐前小吃, miso soup, 蒸蛋, 甜品 (ice cream - 芝麻 or 綠茶), 而且又沒有加一服務費。熟食還未嘗試過但魚生方面就試過兩樣。Sushi set - 大約12 件sushi, 有基本的三文魚, tuna, 另外也有 uni (超甜+新鮮), 甜蝦, 三文魚子等等。魚生粒飯 - 碗雖小, 但魚生粒滿潟, 鮮甜肥厚, 一樣有uni, 甜蝦, 三文魚子等等 !另外, 服務生是全男班, 態度很慇勤有禮。一定會再去光顧 !

不錯的食 lunch 選擇 !!

Lunch 真係好抵食 - 一個 set 有埋甜品 (ice cream) 都只是$70, 而且份量不少的, 女士們一定會好夠飽 !

魚生方面款式多, 夠新鮮, Lunch set 都有十個以上的選擇, 任何 Lunch set 都包括 濆物, 餐前小吃, miso soup, 蒸蛋, 甜品 (ice cream - 芝麻 or 綠茶), 而且又沒有加一服務費。

熟食還未嘗試過但魚生方面就試過兩樣。

Sushi set - 大約12 件sushi, 有基本的三文魚, tuna, 另外也有 uni (超甜+新鮮), 甜蝦, 三文魚子等等。

魚生粒飯 - 碗雖小, 但魚生粒滿潟, 鮮甜肥厚, 一樣有uni, 甜蝦, 三文魚子等等 !

另外, 服務生是全男班, 態度很慇勤有禮。


一定會再去光顧 !

OCT. 3,2008 見星島介紹 SAE 有日本赤豚餐立即飛的來試,誰不知所謂「日本赤豚」全是死 死實實的急凍貨色,迷你栗子赤豚湯更是用上完全無味的罐頭貨,再加上低劣的廚藝,2人盛謂 $480!! 認真搵笨!! ! 如想吃真正赤豚,SOGO 頂樓的和三味貨真價實得多!($120)

I went to SAE on Monday to celebrate my friend's BDay. It's been a while since I last went there. Having viewed the comments of others in this website, I was a bit worried since most are negative ones.Oh but the dinner was really not that bad! I went to SAE on Monday to celebrate my friend's BDay. It's been a while since I last went there. Having viewed the comments of others in this website, I was a bit worried since most are negative ones.

Oh but the dinner was really not that bad! We ordered 8 pcs of sushi, a sanmai sashimi (fish that is available only in autumn, and we requested to fry the bone afterwards) (around $150), grill squid, noodle, assorted grill stick, and the bill is only HK$740! The food are tasty as well! At the end, when we are thinking what to order for dessert, the boss give us a free dessert! The dessert includes 2 ice-cream, a green tea red bean pudding, tofu pudding, papaya pcs with sago, choco mochi and almond jelly!!!!!! 7 items!!!!!!

Frankly, we only spend around $700 and that's really not that much! The free dessert at least worth $150!!!!!! or even more!!!!!!

The shop owner Mr Ma is very nice and always smile, although he is very busy.

btw, they got a VIP room at 3/F and I think some party arrangement can be made as well.

The only one bad thing is that they appears to have not enough staff, we sometimes have to look around and wait for a waiter. But the whole dining experience is great lah!

約兩年前在此盛贊此餐廳, 很可惜今非昔比!沒有誇張, 昨天下午到sae用膳, 看見餐牌轉了面貌, 心想正 ~~ 有新野試.原來只是把餐牌上的小食有所改變, 不是變好, 而是變但.....求其左原本凡叫魚生定食, 必配天婦羅, 現改為"煮物" --> 菜一根份量才給震驚, 以前的份量像拉麵, 現在的份量好似屋企d飯碗咁, 超細! 連女仔都食唔飽, 太唔低啦!! $95 一個lunch都食唔飽!

食過SAE兩次,兩次都好好食. 尤其係以$75一個lunch set既價錢, o係灣仔簡直係超值tim 呀!! 但最好預先做reservation, cos' it's usually packed during lunch.Waiters are all attentive and courteous. Very worth trying!

噚日秘書節,一眾老細請我哋一眾秘書去S.A.E食LUNCH。

大概四年前公司聖誕PARTY喺嗰度搞,食過佢啲嘢,印象中唔差同埋啲用料好新料,尤其個香蕉拔絲同埋個稻亭麵係一絕!

今次舊地重遊,有啲失望:

環境-- 一入到去就已經好大陣"UP"味,二樓三樓都係。我哋坐喺三樓嘅VIP房,其實全程都有陣味,幾唔舒服。同埋燈光極之暗,唔覺氣氛因此會好,反而令到之後睇唔喥啲嘢食係唔係太新鮮(不過好在食得出!)

食物:
1) 刺身有油甘魚、吞拿魚、三文魚、甜蝦、帶子、劍魚仲有兩款魚(唔記得咩名),我覺得除咗個吞拿魚入口即溶同好鮮味、甜蝦都鮮甜之外,其他都一般。

2) 壽司有海膽(幾好,清甜有少少海水甜)、三文魚子(我無食因為唔鍾意)、蟹子卷(飯有啲硬)、仲有三種魚,有啲乾身,無咩味,同埋飯都係硬咗啲啲!

3) 燒鵝肝--皮脆內滑,份量唔會太膩(不過我食埋同事半件),底下用兩片蕃薯天婦羅墊,新鮮炸好脆同埋蕃薯好甜好味!個醬汁少少甜、少少辣,好開胃

4) 主菜--燒爐魚OR黑豚肉,我同同事一人揀一個share嚟食。成餐最好食就係毎燒爐魚,外面同圍邊脆、香口,內裏魚肉有汁、肉亦有啲o趙頭!連埋個燒汁一齊食就係「正」!個黑豚肉就靭咗啲,無俾刀叉切淨用筷子食都要咬五六啖至唔會黐牙。可能落咗啲胡椒醃,少少辣可以話係香口囉。

5) 跟住係甜品大匯演(佢係咁叫)--係紅豆or綠茶雪糕(我食咗綠茶不過奶味重無咩綠茶味),芝麻糕好食香芝麻味、銀杏豆腐花好香豆味,食到底至有兩粒銀杏同至有銀杏苦味、蜜餞木瓜、朱古力燒餅(皮厚朱古力少,同埋冰鎮住令到好快硬咗一塊,唔夠軟!) 以上甜品除咗雪糕同燒餅係一人一杯/塊,其餘係三個人share嚟食,即啲糕同豆腐花都要分三份,有啲麻煩!

埋單好似係三千幾蚊,我哋十三個人食。總括以上,如果食個lunch每人二百幾蚊係食咁嘅質素同埋環境又真係唔係太抵囉!

雖然貴網營運形式已變,但身為一份子,有活動舉行的話一定支持.今年的聖誕派對,就是在灣仔譚臣道頭,上樓日本菜S.A.E.原來早三年前,貴網曾經在此搞過同類party.之前看過此店之食評,風格是走Fusion路線的日本菜.全場Sprkling wine同紅酒任飲,先來一杯Sparkling wine就準備就位.店方安排的菜單,先行雜錦前菜拼盤,淺焰三文魚,紫蘇海蝦件,七味燒雞球.三文魚一向沒有興趣,外層用火略燒一燒,外熟內生,也吃得過.海蝦是包著紫蘇葉來炸,炸得香脆,蝦肉亦彈牙.至於七味燒雞球,雞肉乾巴巴,其七味的味道,有種難以言喻的怪.清蒸海鮮茶壺湯,味道清香,壺內的海鮮材料亦夠新鮮.刺身拼盤是出奇地佳,首先拼盤內沒有三文魚,說好囉,無三文魚.)油甘魚,牡丹蝦,劍魚腩,帶子等等,全部都是新鮮貨色,劍魚腩同油甘魚肥美,海膽更是鮮甜得有點離奇,事前真的沒有料到.鵝肝山椒燒是幾特別的一味,特別在用炸南瓜,放在鵝肝底.試想想,用炸物來索油,大約會是什麼?說回個鵝肝,外面微焦口感,內裏呈粉紅色,吃落甘香但不夠豐滿.接下來兩道燒物,香荵汁燒海鱸魚,其燒汁惹味,seabass就肉質鞋口,應該是燒得過火

鵝肝山椒燒是幾特別的一味,特別在用炸南瓜,放在鵝肝底.試想想,用炸物來索油,大約會是什麼?說回個鵝肝,外面微焦口感,內裏呈粉紅色,吃落甘香但不夠豐滿.

接下來兩道燒物,香荵汁燒海鱸魚,其燒汁惹味,seabass就肉質鞋口,應該是燒得過火之故.麵醬燒米澤產黑豚,豚肉又是燒得太乾了.冷製稻庭烏冬,烏冬彈牙,木魚湯底味鮮.繼刺身拼盤之後,全夜其中之一道水準之作.

最後的甜品大匯演,賣相精緻,連一向不好甜品的E小姐,也搶先夾甜品.有些什麼?已沒有太大印像.

有別昔日之派對風格,今年的Christmas Party如新人賽,氣氛有點點拘謹.或者搞手方面想到這一點,加插兩個遊戲玩節.矇眼估食物,同猜枚形式說食物名,頓時令到全場氣氛熱鬧起來.整體來講,也算良好.

又食又"拎",果真有本又有利,兩年後就十周年了,到時又有什麼新點子?

Saw the bad comments recently. I went there for lunch today. ok wo!Ordered Sashimi Set ($95), no service charge.Full house at 1:30pm. Sat at bar table. But it is below the sushi bar, hence facing the wall for the whole mealSteam egg - good!miso soup - above averagerice - okSashimi - urchin (1teaspoon), salmon x 2, tuna x 2 cubes, scallop x 1 cut in 2 pieces, yau com fish x 2, shrimp x 1, squid x 1. rice - ok
Sashimi - urchin (1teaspoon), salmon x 2, tuna x 2 cubes, scallop x 1 cut in 2 pieces, yau com fish x 2, shrimp x 1, squid x 1. Very sufficient for lunch, considering still have tempura coming. Nicely presented.

tempura - 4 pieces including shrimp. freshly fried. good. With salt, taste just right.

ice-cream. nice green tea ice-cream dessert.

Makes me very full indeed.

Good place for a decent japanese meal at reasonable price.

友人特別囑咐做了野菜天婦羅,看賣相,也有說不出的港式味道。件頭大,炸漿硬而厚,也甭談那灘油蹟了。用的材料也是庸貨,如蟹爪菇,據稱澀味尤在。做得亦相當粗糙,蕃薯切得太厚,吃得一口是粉。茄子草草切了數刀,還疊在一起,未有展成扇狀,那又切來幹啥?紅蘿蔔頗爽甜,卻跟炸漿肢體分離,友人虐稱是差點忘了自己是在吃炸物。總之,此數件炸物,絕對令人吃至「烏煙頭上冒」!自己的刺身併盤,可幸還算新鮮,然友人瞥見那件件厚切的情況,笑說實在不敢恭維,於我而言,收貨了。

最差劣的要算是那碗米飯。需知吃便當或定食,其中一項最重要的,就是那碗日本米飯的質素。這裡的煮得太乾,飯香全無,未知是米的品質還是烹煮技術的問題?心想,應是兩者皆有罷。自己鬧著玩加了點味噌湯來下飯,效果竟然不錯,至少是味道多一丁,濕潤多一點,下嚥也容易一些。這碗米飯之低劣,可想而知。

沒有咖啡供應,只能吃雪糕,紅豆或綠茶味任擇。紅豆雪糕口感不滑,奶香欠奉,味道卻還可。綠茶雪糕則是說不出的奇怪,似茶非茶,巳良久沒有嚐過如斯難吃的綠茶雪糕了。

整頓飯乏善足陳,甚至可用「不倫不類,怪裡怪氣」來形容。唯一可取的,是佐餐的數支太陽啤,支支冰凍,20元一支,算是經濟。

食物水準雖然不濟,但服務甚佳,店員手腳明快,笑容滿面,值得一讚。

結賬230元,午市來說,想不到再來的理由。

今天中午在這裡食飯,Waiter的態度不是太好,而且在食最尾的雪糕時,我見到Waiter將別人用過的匙用抹枱布抹過就給我們用,我和朋友都十分驚訝!!!!!亦不想再到此餐廳了!!!!!

近四個月沒有來,十個字:「貴咗,份量少咗,其他依舊。」財務部老哥說有‘正宗’日式料理,要我陪佢去。當我知道係SAE,就知道阿財務部老哥受騙了!我們都點raw fish 午餐,我要Chirashi 午餐($95),老哥要魚生片午餐($95)。Chirashi 跟魚生片的分別係,前者幼切粒,後者薄片狀。反正D sashimi 都唔算新鮮,幼切粒可以轉移視線,成塊咁食咪盞仲覺得唔新鮮。包飲左都唔知係mud 的「麵豉湯」、唔熱的「茶碗蒸」、厚炸漿但材料瘦削的「天婦羅」、。我的Chirashi 相當細碗,魚生量數埋都冇三湯匙,唉!老哥的Sashimi 唔食都知道唔新鮮,跟超市販賣的可謂豆腐雪糕勢均力敵。甜頭係雪糕,豆腐味還算係一個fair 的選擇。價錢mark-up 10%,份量少25%,味道依舊麻麻地,服務依舊怪怪地,接線生依舊「聾聾地」。整體質素下滑到「銀座藏x」,避之則吉。

First of all, I have to declare that in the 4 or 5 times that I ate at SAE, it was a special set menu that Chef Ma designed at a price that we gave him. Perhaps that was why each and every meal could only be described as fantastic. The menu consists of 8 dishes: appetiser, soup, a special dish (one time was a crab role fondue served with raw vegetables - heavenly!), sashimi plate, grilled fish, grilled meat, noodles, dessert medley. There are different variations within each dish depending on the budget.

The appetisers are small but tasty and unusual. I had my first experience of fish liver there - it was smooth and rich like a good pate. The soup was always refreshing and flavourful. The sashimi (which to me was the highlight) was generous in portion, fresh and beautifully presented. Usually by this stage my guests would be a tad full already, but no one could resist the grilled dishes, be it the fish or the beef or pork - always cooked just right. The noodles was a refreshing end to an excellent meal. And oh yes, desserts. While other restaurants would have been contented with a mochi or ice cream or japanese fruit after such a sumptious and earnestly-prepared meal, SAE gives you a dessert medley that contains 5 (maybe more, I lost count) different choices. In all my experience dining here, desserts is always the one dish that we could not finish, not for the lack of quality, but simply because by this stage everyone would be completely, utterly and guiltily stuffed.

Great food, good presentation, friendly service, private room, all from $350 per person, what more do you want? Well, there is actually one thing: this place has zero ambience and sometimes the restaurant on 2/f has a strange smell. Other than that, it's faultless. To be honest, I have to struggle with myself whether or not to disclose this rare gem, but in the end, I decide that Chef Ma deserves to be commended.

和朋友黎呢度食lunch. 我地都點了魚生飯定食。給煲呔吹到的經濟起飛,乜都加價,呢度都加了10%. 以前魚生飯定食$88,而家要$95.前菜有一件冬瓜煮,清清地,唔錯。今次個魚生飯,面有兩片好似海膽的東西,但係食落又唔似係,唔知係乜。三文魚同魶魚魚生切成粒粒,好新鮮,仲有黑色的魚子,幾好幾好。定食配上蒸蛋,正宗日式做法,配料有冬菇同雞肉粒。另外有天婦羅,蝦,番薯同粟米芯。香脆。甜品有紅豆同綠茶雪糕。唔錯,應該係日本的出品。
