搭扶手電梯便到達餐廳,於在二樓的Jamie's Italian,沒有甚麼景觀可言;不過餐廳內環境都十分casual但都幾型格,十分有氣氛。環境寬敞,樓底高有空間感。

有3件羊架,都幾厚身,外皮燒得焦香,肉質不錯,但是沒有熟的程度可以選擇,上枱時已全熟,幸好都嫰口。羊架本身的味道已很好,不用配上3款醬(red onion salad, toasted nuts, yoghurt)已好美味。

Crab and avocado bruschetta 蟹肉牛油果烤麵包 ($70):
多士略為細塊,質感偏硬。上面鋪滿青蘋果、蕃茄、辣椒、乳清芝士等等。青蘋果香甜爽脆,特色卻在旁邊的牛油果醬及蟹肉。牛油果醬味道天然、清新,惜蟹肉是罐頭貨色因而未夠鮮味。

Spacious, cool, interior- buzzing with people! Finally one Sunday evening; after watching a movie, close to 10pm at night.... (we were told we would still have to wait about 45-1 hr...OMG!) we did manage to try out the much hyped up place....

Italian Spiced Chicken Wings $75. Free Range wings w/ a smoked & spicy tomato Sauce. Nothing spectacular about this. The chicken was actually kind of cold on the inside. The best thing though was definitely the spicy tomato sauce- which wasn't really spicy...but delicious!

Crab & Avocado Bruschetta $70. Toasted Sourdough, fresh crab, ricotta, avocado, apple, lemon & chilli..This was another meh dish. The crab meat was very under seasoned and the bruschetta was hard to split without making a mess of the crab and other medley on top of it.

Burger Italiano $135 Chargrilled beef burger w/ melted Fontina Cheese, sweet tomato, salsa, chili and a crispy fried onions- $180 w/ fries. This was my favorite of the bunch. The burger was HUGE. It was hard to split without making a mess. I also loveeeed the crispy thin cut fries we added to the dish. The fries were even better than the burger.

Fresh Crab Spaghettini $90 (for half portion) w/ capers, chilli, fennel, parsley, anchovies & lemon. This pasta dish was recommended to us. But it was honestly a miss :/ The pasta sauce was absolutely water-y (not sauce-y in any way)...which was a big minus for me. :/
Sadly, long lines doesn't amount to the best type of food. Some dishes were under seasoned, watery, and just not that good. The price point is good- but still needs a bit of work. Jamie's Italian is sure to have people going still...but overall, I don't think I'll be heading back...

看到其他食客的照片,這baked mushroom看似美味,加上其他的不算太吸引,所以就點了這個。來到時,我們都說: 「嘩,這麼大個?」是的,真的頗大,但其實當中只是菇而已,不會飽的。因為菇而鋪滿了芝士,所以非常香;而菇的熟度亦剛好,頗乾身亦沒有出水;那脆包亦很脆,很香口。

Fennel salami, pistachio mozzarella, prosciutto & schiacciata piccante

本來不打算點這份cured meats的,但看圖後覺得也可以一試,份量不少只需$78。先說那水牛芝士,帶著清新的芝士味,質感頗軟,入口濕潤,不像某些水牛芝士般又硬沒有味;而那數片肉亦頗新鮮的,質感亦軟腍,大概這裡食客眾多,去貨很快,所以不會積聚太多不新鮮的火腿。

Fried garlicky prawns, fennel, tomatoes, chilli & rocket

雖然自己已經常在家中製作pasta,但來到Jamie's Italian,還是不得不點pasta來品嚐,品嚐之餘亦可以學習其他的味道。蕃茄味頗強的,意粉汁濃稠度亦剛好;而意粉的質感亦十分不錯;而當中的蝦雖然未算超新鮮,但味道亦有的;說真的,百多元一個意粉,你還要求甚麼?

另一份主菜則點了雞,一份雞當中有一件雞胸和一件雞脾,很有趣地,雞脾的肉質比雞胸嚡,本來以為自已分不清雞脾和雞胸,但雞胸應該不會有雞脾骨吧?? 雞的味道亦算強的,rosemary的濃度剛好,外層亦煎得頗香口的,還可以吧。

With Limoncello & Crunchy Pistachio Brittle

細看甜品menu後,最後選了這份 Lemon Meringue作甜品,一咬下,很美味喔!!!!質感很軟滑,甜度亦剛好,檸檬味亦很濃郁;其實那lemon,當中充滿了膽固醇和糖,不過入口不膩,做得真的很好!! (Must-Try)

大家對於這裡的評語都是好壞參半,對於小妹來說,評價是正面的;說實話,在銅鑼灣很多西餐廳的質素強差人意之餘價格亦不低,以這間來說,味道雖未至於驚為天人,但所用的材料都是不錯的,環境亦不錯;這天是星期天,小妹大約下午兩時左右來吧,只需十分鐘左右便可入座了,實在太好了。

I have to say I went in with just moderate expectations, and was still completely disappointed. We got a table easy enough, because we went fairly early, and I was quite impressed with the space, it looks really great, and it was already somewhat busy. Our table of 3 sat down, and waited. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, so we ordered our drinks, and waited. It took about another 10 minutes to receive our drinks (a pint of beer, a mojito, and a water). The w

We got a table easy enough, because we went fairly early, and I was quite impressed with the space, it looks really great, and it was already somewhat busy. Our table of 3 sat down, and waited. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, so we ordered our drinks, and waited. It took about another 10 minutes to receive our drinks (a pint of beer, a mojito, and a water). The waiter rushed away after putting the drinks down, so we didn't get to order our food, so we waited some more. Another 10 minutes pass, and he comes and takes our food order. The cru d'etet plate arrived shortly after, and was great. Fresh vegetables, with a light dipping sauce, which we nibbled on between us. My beer is finished, and we waited. After 10 minutes I finally flagged down a waiter and ordered another beer, and my friend another mojito, and we waited. 10 more minutes and our drinks arrived, and then we waited some more. About an hour after we arrived, our plates arrived, we had 2 rib eye steaks, and a pasta dish. The rib eye steaks were cold, like they were left to die on the pass for a good 20 minutes, the "truffle butter" was just butter with truffle oil mixed in. I don't understand why people continue to use this disgusting chemical product and call it truffle, it's not, it doesn't taste remotely the same as truffle, and it's just gross. STOP!. The funky chips were good, I like the concept, but again ice cold. The pasta plate that the pasta came on felt as though it had just come out of the fridge, and the pasta inside was luke warm if I'm giving it any credit at all. We had to be out of there for a second engagement that night, and couldn't wait another hour for a refire of the food, so we just sucked it up and ate it. And then we waited. Empty plates and glasses sat in front of us for another 15 minutes while we laughed about the situation.

I should also mention that during our meal, we thought it was just maybe us, but the table next to us got a charcuterie plate, and the waiter couldn't explain what the meats or cheeses were, or in what order to eat them in. 

During this whole procedure it looked as though the staff had no clue as to what was going on, they were bumping into each other, walking around in circles, and generally trying to "look busy" while doing nothing. When the waiter finally came to pick up the plates without any question on how the meal was. I asked how long they had been open, and he said a few months, and I said "Oh, it seems like this is a soft opening", to which he replied, "No it's always like this" and then scurried away. We left our money, and didn't bother waiting for any change as we were running late and didn't want to wait another 15 minutes for someone to care about us.

It was abysmal service, the food might have been OK if it was at least warm, but it wasn't, and therefore really quite unacceptable. It turned a meal my wife was excited about (and my friend travelling here from abroad as well) into a really unpleasant experience. I would really avoid coming here and go to one of the hundreds of other really great places in this price category. I think if the staff received even 5 minutes of training it could only improve.

門口是jamie的tv拍攝的場地佈置,stunning!裡面原來是一個西式士多,有招牌的木板賣,對,就是那個在jamie節目中出鏡率奇高的木板,香港分店的菜式亦有用上,目的是簡單,快捷!在這個koisk裡,想連圍裙香料等掃回家,但douglas說

「以兔兔貓你這種現代香港職場女性,廚房之物恐怕如無謂的配菜,根本毫無用武之地。」

Douglas先行一步,我先把貓腳和兔仔耳朵沖洗乾淨,踏進此店,整店帶有BLUEBERRY NIGHT中NOARH JONES經常流連的小店的王家衛式浪漫情懷,郤又不失外國metropolitan大都會急速氣息。嗯,就是那套電影COLOR TONE下的感覺。

MEUU不多說了,就似一張PR LUNCHEON FLYER,羅列菜式之外,之廣,都令兔兔貓猶豫了好一會兒。好,先來一道Crab and avocado bruschetta ($70)
木板放在兩個舊式茄汁罐頭之上,令食物更接近五官,望聞問切,這是正是jamie的飲食哲學!包香脆得不得了,不過蟹肉方面,如無意外是Jamie日常在節目中常常登堂入室的罐頭貨色,蟹味不夠鮮,肉質有點梅,有點失望!牛油果醬帶點稀,便是清新原味口感,正正是jamie一再重申,I am now recap in english,健康no junk food,調味少d,天然多一些。

Our famous Prawn Linguine ($80)和Fresh Crab Spaghetti ($90)
這裡的意粉pasta絕對做到à la carte水準,意粉分成兩個價錢,大的等於兩個拳頭,小的就是一個拳頭。為了品嚐多點,決定要兩個小份量的PASTA! 
Our famous Prawn Linguine 是很著名的,標明大蝦是香港現買現煮的,Linguine 是自家搓自家壓製的,結果是出乎意料的好新鮮好味道!Linguine 煮的時間拿捏準確,不會過淋,軟硬宜人,麵粉不會起粒,意粉形態出乎意料有性格。
至於Fresh Crab Spaghetti ,一上菜香味蓋過全場,坦白說,賣相比Prawn Linguine差,但是味道要好幾倍!香濃的海鮮汁配合chilli及garlic,加上 parsley 吊出蟹肉鮮味

「媽,好辣呀!」

但是好好好好好好惹味,令兔兔貓很後悔沒有order big portion,下次一定會encore!好吃到我回家跟著jamie的receipe煮了兩遍,哈哈,好吃的東西不怕一吃再吃。

Chips with Truffle Oil ($45)
Douglas話渥太華天氣很冷,上學又沒法吃點好吃的,fat chips成為他讀書時的良伴。今晚嚐過Chips with Truffle Oil,可惜是,松露油不夠多,松露香不夠突出,薯條太軟太淋,令到Douglas很失望,或者jamie又想recap,不要吃junk food!

「你又唔係jamie肚裡面條蟲,又唔可以喺現場走埋去問個大廚係咪無做qc!你只可以話佢涉嫌落得唔夠多松露油,以及懷疑薯條放得太耐。」

Douglas妙語連珠,激動過花蟹,又精彩過四點鐘許sir,這道Chips with Truffle Oil,叮得,再見,簡直是浪費胃納之選!

Tutti Frutti Lemon Pie ($65)
意猶未盡,點了一抺甜點,絕對不小,而是一大件,還要裝飾得恰似fine art! 外表有點似simply life的糕點,當然,兔兔貓不是想講抄襲,純粹分享感覺!檸檬 custurd是我最喜歡的西餅filling,勁酸,酸得似super lemon的酸度(當我打這句,口水都出埋嚟) !
批面有甜甜的whipping cream,配合檸檬吉士,你懂的。批底壓得實淨,厚實的純消化餅混牛油, 香味濃郁又醒神,jamie真的是天才大廚。
結果因為太大份,吃不完!well,兔兔貓出名有10個胃,但是實在因為太大件,我居然有吃不完的一餐,天啊,我接受不了!

飲品 Ginger Bear ($35) Mint squash ($35)
向來行走江湖,酒水賺錢是常識吧,不過今次能夠以平民價錢試jamie HOUSE-DRINK,味道不俗!Ginger Bear味道不會太姜,反而來得淡淡的,而Mint squash的鮮薄荷是令口腔清新不少,味蕾中和一陣子。

一下子好像進入了多啦B夢的隨意門,到了美國diner的廁所一樣,不過見不到max and caroline在洗廁所,哈哈,水龍頭是50年代的Baroque裝飾風格,帶點art deco的玩味,優雅又復古!

沖水馬桶是著名的鮮黃色水箱,crazy,這樣兔兔貓都影餐飽,有夠無聊的。

「請不要幻想jamie如廁,這是瘋狂粉絲的行徑!」

我的天!話說每年都有不少佷客偷走jamie italian的食具毛巾和沖水箱之類的,幸好香港人比較有公德心,讚!相信不會發生這種鬧劇吧!


最後讓兔兔貓分享一則高登仔都市十大傳說之一,就是,麥樂雞不是用雞肉做的 !如果到youtube收看JAMIE OILIVER 對著一班3歲細路哥整mc nugget,也許你不會再吃麥樂雞喔

一直很想來 Jamie's Italian 試一下味道如何今天終於有機會來試! 室內的裝修在香港來說算是挺特別的!餐廳的樓底很高,感覺像一個被從新佈置的廢棄工廠乘電梯去餐廳時,牆上的壁畫十分觸目,令餐廳更添一番風味頭盤方面,我們點了一個daily special 的salad食物顏色的運用主要是根據意大利的國旗的三種顏色起司,小番茄加上pesto sauce 的味道很配,加上中間的脆餅,是一道很清爽的頭盤。主食方面,用牛油炒的黑松露意粉味道較清淡,但牛油香味十足,麵條硬度適中,果然homemade pasta 是不同一點!燒雞味道很入味,但稍嫌雞肉有點過熟。雞肉配上新鮮的火箭菜,味道很搭!最後到甜品,焦糖配上brownie 和雪糕簡直是女人的誘惑品味道有點太甜,但喜歡味道濃郁甜品的朋友應該會喜歡!

For us fans in Hong Kong, it's been a long time coming as we patiently waited for our first Jamie's Italian but have sadly seen the famed British chef picked Dublin, St Petersburg, Singapore, Dubai and Istanbul ahead of us. Thankfully the long anticipated wait is finally over in 2014!

The first Jamie's Italian in Hong Kong appears to be no different than any other branches in the world. It serves affordable and hearty Italian food in a casual and unpretentious setting, Jamie's style.

I have heard so much about the 3-hour wait people had to endure on the opening week. So I was a little surprised to find that at 7pm, there were only a few souls in the line up.

The restaurant is absolutely huge! It can easily accommodate 200 diners at the same time.
The cured meat platter ($79 per person) was the talk of the town since opening day. We could definitely see why (Generous portions perhaps?).

We couldn't wait to get things rolling and what better way to start than the crispy squid with garlic mayo, lemon and chili ($60). Tasted exactly the same as the one we had in London back in 2011 (3/5). Just average.

The grilled garlic and rosemary free-range chicken with a tomato, olive, chilli, anchovy and caper sauce ($165) came highly recommended by our server Vicky and it was a solid choice (3.5/5).

Less successful was the fish in a bag ($170) - a baked trout in parchment alongside some clams, mussels, fennel, chilli, anchovies and cracked wheat and topped with a spicy arrabbiata sauce (3/5).

We were all looking forward to the pasta dishes and here they came - squid-ink spaghetti with scallops, garlic, chilli, anchovies and capers ($145). I thought the spaghetti was a little dry (3/5).

They did save the best for last - their signature linguini with fried garlicky prawns, fennel, tomatoes, chilli & rocket ($165). My only complaint about this dish - these were not prawns. They were shrimps, come on (3.5/5)!

So far, everything has been the way we expected - honest food, acceptable prices and good portion, but dessert was a little disappointing.

Out of the eight desserts, we had the pleasure of starting with this tutti frutti lemon meringue pie with limoncello and crunchy pistachio brittle ($65). A little too sour for my liking (3/5).

I asked our server Vicky to recommend one for us and she mentioned about their tiramisu ($65). She said it's very different from the traditional tiramisu with more liquor and super moist texture.

She got part of that right - we thought it's very different largely because it tasted more like a coffee cake than a tiramisu (2/5).

Jamie's Italian has never been about haute cuisine. People come for their rustic and unpretentious Italian food to be shared among good friends and they are very successful in doing that. But if you are into a more sophisticated Italian fare, there are probably better choices out there.

有見及此,我地叫多左個大份大蝦茄扁意粉,呢個都係好細份,蝦就好好味啦,但意粉就好硬好硬好硬....唔知係味正常都係咁硬既呢?!?佢又未至於係生,所有野好似係7成熟咁啦,我地都無追問啦。




始終唔係jo自己煮,係差d架喇。btw,場內燈光一係好光一係好暗,坐耐左對眼唔多舒服。廁所幾靚,值得參觀。

全城熱爆的Jamie's Italian 一位難求,幸好餐廳只預留兩成座位供預訂,好等其他未能成功訂位的有心食客,可用時間和「腳骨力」換取座位。這天(星期六)下午五時十五分來到大廈地下開始排隊,一個小時後終於排到接待處,留下姓名和手提電話號碼頭四個數字,接待員著我們兩小時後,即八時十五分回來。我們在附近逛街,七時四十五分便返回接待處等候,結果八時正獲安排入座,即排隊和等候共用了兩小時四十五分鐘。由地下搭兩層扶手電梯便到達餐廳,由於在二樓,餐廳並沒有甚麼景觀可言,不過餐廳內坐滿客人,氣氛很熱鬧,大家看來都十分高興。我們坐下沒多久,一名女侍應便走來介紹自己叫Jennifer,說她這晚負責招呼我們,並告訴我們這晩的兩款特飲,結果我們選了有酒精的一款,是加有檸檬味的意大利汽酒($65),味道算是醒神,但我覺得餐牌上的桃蓉意大利汽酒或者會較好喝。這兒有三款前菜是以木板上菜的,分別是烤蔬菜、炸魚或風乾火腿,按每位收費,但多人也可以只叫一客。我們二人點了一客炸魚前菜(fish plank, $79),點菜後,Jennifer 便放了兩罐意大利蕃茄在餐桌上,說是用來托著木板的,而且這些罐頭蕃茄也是餐廳

這兒有三款前菜是以木板上菜的,分別是烤蔬菜、炸魚或風乾火腿,按每位收費,但多人也可以只叫一客。我們二人點了一客炸魚前菜(fish plank, $79),點菜後,Jennifer 便放了兩罐意大利蕃茄在餐桌上,說是用來托著木板的,而且這些罐頭蕃茄也是餐廳的食材之一。看見上菜的侍應拿著放滿食物的長條木板放在罐頭上,感覺很有新意,這樣的焯頭應該可吸引很多顧客叫來一試。我們首先分享了一片冰鎮紅菜頭醃三文魚,味道普通,不過頗精緻。一個小碗內盛了一隻青口和四隻很細的蜆,青口頗鹹,蜆肉則鮮甜。最好吃是用紙捲著的兩小件炸魚塊,雖說是意大利菜,卻予人英式炸魚薯條的感覺。魚肉非常鮮嫩,炸麵包糠厚薄適中,配沙律醬吃味道更好。魚醬多士很小巧,上面卻放滿了橄欖和醃酸辣椒,吃起來既軟綿又脆口,帶鹹又帶酸,作為前菜,相當醒胃。還有一片芝士薄餅,味道並不特別,但就加強了意大利的風味。

餐廳的招牌蝦闊麵(Our Famous Prawn Linguini, $165)幾乎是所有介紹Jamie's Italian 的報章雜誌的推介,由於我們二人都想吃,所以叫了客大份的,免得份量太少不夠分。闊麵煮得非常有咬口,絕對是意大利標準的al dente,而且有很多蝦仁,雖然並不大隻,但有鮮味。蕃茄醬汁同樣鮮味很濃,還有少許辣味,吃來更感開胃。我最喜歡這道菜加了茴香菜和新鮮火箭菜,這兩種菜本身獨特的香氣和味道,令闊麵的味道更豐富和特別。

羊架(Lamb Lollipops, $220)的名字很可愛,同樣以板上,三件羊架都相當厚,所以甚有咬口,外皮烤得焦香,肉質卻保持鮮嫰有彈性。羊架本身的味道已很好,無須加任何醬汁,我們吃一口已即時讚好,認為是必點菜色。事實上,侍應不停端著這道菜給其他食客,可想而知它有多受歡迎。做配菜的炸粟米餅(Polenta Chips)是餐廳其中一款特色小吃,既香口又飽肚,不過,若不配跟菜的酸乳酪醬來吃,則略嫌太膩。我們結果要多點一小碟爽口清甜的炒法國邊豆(Pan-fried Green Beans, $40),以清一清味蕾和掃去飽膩感。

甜點方面,我們點了Tiramisu($65)和雪葩($60)。我喜歡這兒的tiramisu 夠酒味,而其特色是帶橙味,如果咖啡味再濃一點會更好。雪葩或雪糕有三球,還可以從蜂巢碎、果仁碎、時令水果及奶油糖果醬四款配料當中選兩款。我們選了芒果和血橙雪皅,以及朱古力雪糕。我覺得血橙味的雪皅味道最好,芒果味的相對失色,蜂巢碎增添了口感和蜜糖的味道,相當特別,但原來這兒的雪葩和雪糕是向XTC 買的。

我們頗滿意這個晚餐,如果不用排隊等位,絕對不介意再來,試試其他菜式。

這兒不設加一服務費,但餐廳鼓勵客人為表現出色的侍應付上百分之十,甚至百分之十五的貼士,難怪侍應們都表現落力。不過Jennifer待我們態度親切,又服務周到,實在不介意多付一些。順帶一提,以信用咭簽帳付的貼士會由衆侍應均分,所以最好另備現金,給專責服務你的侍應

(3) Very good!  雖然這意粉看似平平無奇,用料簡單,只有松露, 牛油, 巴馬芝士及豆蔻,但已十分美味,令人回味無窮!松露的味道濃郁,和芝士很匹配,而醬料的濃稠度適中,吃後不會膩,相反令你很想繼續吃下去。而吃下每一口,濃郁的松露味充滿口腔,令人非常回味。意粉的軟硬度也適中。整體來說是一款非常突出的菜式。

未開之前就已經好想去,睇佢拍嗰段講廣東話嘅promo就已經決定點都要去食下。初頭太過狂熱,好似完全book唔到,而我都未盲目到會walk-in等兩三個鐘,就online book個平日3點幾,應該唔洗咁多人其實話說係佔中第二日,都有小小擔心,不過既然成個月前book都俾我揀中,老公又話可以照去就去啦。去到得幾枱客,waiter都話好多客cancel,平時唔係咁。所以我地就可以清清靜靜咁食飯一早話要安排bb櫈,仲有啲筆呀紙呀咁啦頭盤焗磨菇~已經係最好食,唔會好滯,磨菇有磨菇味咁啦。雞翼~無意見,一般燒雞~我以為會係原隻,點知見到兩塊雞扒,咁如果好食都接受到,可惜就係皮太燶,食鑊NO?漢堡包~其實朋友已經提左好乾,唔洗試。咁因為個雞咁小,我地唔夠食就諗住俾下機會佢啦。同一個問題---食鑊NO?D肉真係燶到苦!我地就問下個WAITER係咪佢地特色係燶⋯⋯佢話因為豬肉加牛肉所以一定係十成熟十成熟我接受到,但係我接受唔到食炭。兒童餐~其實都OK,不過小朋友都仲細,覺得調味偏濃,同埋一罐睇落唔算新鮮的SHAKE SHAKE沙律,唔敢俾佢食總結:我會寧願睇JAMIE OLIVER多過食,同埋如果佢咁
