Anything that could go wrong did. Family of 4 ordered 3 medium burgers and one childrens spaghetti with meatballs. 10 minutes after ordering we were informed there as only one burger bun, would we mind if they put 2 burgers in Ciabatta? OK. 30 minutes later, after much cajoling of waiting staff, the manager came out to tell us that the chef had burnt the burgers..... He as doing new ones for us. Our fries were sat on the warming counter (and had been there for 10 minutes at least) Meantime at le

Anything that could go wrong did. Family of 4 ordered 3 medium burgers and one childrens spaghetti with meatballs. 10 minutes after ordering we were informed there as only one burger bun, would we mind if they put 2 burgers in Ciabatta? Our fries were sat on the warming counter (and had been there for 10 minutes at least)

Meantime at least three staff managed to drop or break something. One waiter dropped a bunch of the cups used for serving fries. Rather than send them back to be washed he just cooly stacked them up again. The staff appeared at best incompetent.

20 minutes later the fries appeared on the table (now been waming for 30 minutes) and they got sent back. Burgers appeared on the warming counter 10 minutes later (so 70 minutes after we ordered them) with staff apparently clueless as to what to do with them. I was so annoyed at this point that I went and got them myself. Not sure if they were the original burnt burgers as they'd been grilled to a cinder and were virtually inedible. No burger bun, all three were in stale ciabatta. Oh - and the spaghetti and meatballs had disappeared and took the staff 5 minutes to locate. 

The manager didn't charge us. I would have refused to pay anyway. If Jamie Oliver knows his name is being put to this abomination he should be ashamed.

My mum had always wanted to come here ever since it opened, I was really reluctant to from the reviews and from what I heard. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and decided to give it a go. The food was really average, the pasta, pizza and burger all were average. From the quality of the food and the price, I'm pretty sure it mostly goes to the rent. the service was pretty bad, had to ask for water 3 times before it arrived. staff seemed clueless about their menu and the guy that to

Just have lunch with my family of 4.Have "hair" inside my kid's ordered dish, informed the staff and she just took it away without saying anything.Glasses placed upside down ( I believe that 's the standatd way they set the table) but they should have ensure that the table must be clean in order to do this. The so call " Fresh Crabmeat linguine" tasted extremely fishy. I have informed the staff there, again, they just removed it and then replied that " the taste is like that' and they have tried. Come on, if it was the truth, obviously they used DEAD crabmeat instead of what they called "fresh".

For sure will not ho there again!!!!

Compare to The Bread Street Kitchen in Central, price is more or less the same but the standard of food , the restaurant environment and the staffs are much better there then in Jamie's .

朋友十一人聚餐,好難得咁多人一齊食到餐飯,真係要每樣野叫兩三碟先夠食呀!首先泥左兩個pizza,一辣一素食。個西蘭花雞蛋pizza好特別,切成方塊,不過味道就淡左小小,好在芝士味香噴噴搭夠。另一個就slice cut,餅皮厚薄剛好,有脆有軟,只係食中某d位會超辣,仲要個分佈好吾平均,有人食到,有人就冇事。三文魚意粉既三文魚有骨。但意粉好好味,厚厚粗粗的,吃起來煙韌,似刀削麵咁既質感,係今餐其中一個驚喜之處。廚師大蝦意大利麵就一般味道。炸海鮮係今晚既伏,炸過既海鮮大部份都乾到一個不成,特別係魚柳粒。主菜羊架,好厚切呀,肉質過得去,吾so,不過可能厚,肥既部份,羊脂肪個度都好厚一坨咁。甜品tiramisu 有檸檬清香,一絕。brownie上面舊焦糖gelato好好味,不過溶得好快,brownie就甜到根本吾會食得曬,如果有十級甜,會比佢9.5,甜到一個點呢!

朋友十一人聚餐,好難得咁多人一齊食到餐飯,真係要每樣野叫兩三碟先夠食呀!

首先泥左兩個pizza,一辣一素食。個西蘭花雞蛋pizza好特別,切成方塊,不過味道就淡左小小,好在芝士味香噴噴搭夠。

三文魚意粉既三文魚有骨。但意粉好好味,厚厚粗粗的,吃起來煙韌,似刀削麵咁既質感,係今餐其中一個驚喜之處。

廚師大蝦意大利麵就一般味道。

炸海鮮係今晚既伏,炸過既海鮮大部份都乾到一個不成,特別係魚柳粒。

主菜羊架,好厚切呀,肉質過得去,吾so,不過可能厚,肥既部份,羊脂肪個度都好厚一坨咁。

甜品tiramisu 有檸檬清香,一絕。brownie上面舊焦糖gelato好好味,不過溶得好快,brownie就甜到根本吾會食得曬,如果有十級甜,會比佢9.5,甜到一個點呢!

Tiramisù.
吃意大利菜 就點個國民甜點提拉米蘇試試😌 特別之處是以橙酒取代了平常的rum酒 如果喜歡橙與朱古力這配搭可以一試😉

星期五傍晚去到Jamie's Italian,因為沒到晚飯點所以沒人,餐廳有吧台,座位舒適。點了一份意粉,一份主菜,一個甜點意粉沒什麼很特別,好吃,但不會有大特色主菜擺盤讓人很有食慾,但肉質較硬,side薯條不錯。值得去。

將d意粉打散 已經有好大陣香味

意粉入面有啲蟹肉 青豆 都算唔錯

d蟹肉都好鮮甜 一d都唔腥 食得出係新鮮食材

個汁有少少辣 我呢d完全唔食得辣既人都接受到仲覺得幾好食添

美中不足既係個意粉偏咸左少少 食完都要飲返杯水 沖返淡d咸味

呢係秘制放養烤雞 配上香辣蕃茄醬 檸檬 橄欖 火箭菜 層次都好豐富

個醬汁酸酸地又有d香辣 好惹味 會一啖接一啖咁食

一切落去會覺得grill得太耐 好硬咁

但擺入口咬又唔會覺得硬 個肉質處理得好tender

Jamie's Italian既Tiramusi係俾好多人讚過話好好食 所以就點左黎食

佢個樣同之前唔同左 我就以為個味會一樣

點知入口個下就覺得怪怪地


有陣橙味 Tiramisu應該係係有好rich既酒味同咖啡味 唔應該會有橙味 相反咖啡味同酒味就較淡 唔夠出 加上有白朱古力 又有d太甜

成個甜品反而有d怪

變左disappointment


Overall黎講都算唔錯既 價錢唔算好抵食 不過都可以接受 Tips就可以決定俾幾多 下次去想試下個Epic Brownie同埋Hot Pizza

Jamie Oliver's food on TV looks delicious.  Jamie's Italian Kitchen's food is decidedly not.  The decor of the restaurant reminded me of an upmarket hipster-fied generic Italian chain restaurant (if the Olive Garden had a Williamsburg outpost) - it is cavernous and a bit on the noisy side.  It comes with a gift shop where satisfied patrons can buy tshirts and cheese boards emblazoned with Jamie's logo.  Our server was really nice.This review will focus on the dishes we tried, maybe his other stu

This review will focus on the dishes we tried, maybe his other stuff is better but we're not keen to find out.

Fried portobello mushrooms:  mushrooms encrusted with corn meal then fried. THis was the highlight of our meal, it was downhill from here.  (4 out of 5)

"grilled" vegetable plank:  this is a complete misnomer. there was nothing grilled about this plank - there was a mozerella ball (not grilled), a slice of cheese with sweet'n'sour sauce on top (not grilled), and a bowl filled with olives and other antipasti that tastes like it came fresh from the jar (did not taste grilled, just mushy).  (1 out of 5)  

Penne Carbonara:  I blame myself for ordering this Carbonara in Penne form. I'd been wanting something carbonara and settled for a non-fettucine kind. 
  The overcooked Penne didn't adequately absorb what little flavor there was to begin with. The sauce lacked oopmh and the bacon/lardons were sprinkled on like an afterthought.  (1 out of 5)

Mixed Funghi Pizza:  The pizza was alright - the mushrooms were tasty but the crust was on the soggy side.  (3.5 out of 5) 

In a nutshell, I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend.

脆炸菠菜芝士雲吞 (Spinach & Ricotta Nachos),看起來,就是我們中國的炸雲吞,不過餡料是西方意大利的,加有芝士,加有香草,但脆脆的感覺是完全的亞洲風,再以泰式的辣醬來點食,很中西合壁的一道菜。

燒雞翼.....(我不唱歌了)。新年餐單中有人見人愛的蜜糖薑汁雞翼 (Honey & Ginger Chicken Wings)。這是一般你我都會整的雞翼,不過雞翼用蜜糖及豉油醃過,再加有薑汁同香草撈一撈,甜、香、有辣勁,是一個大人、小朋友都鐘意食的東東。

Oven-baked Fish of the day, 是日的魚。而Today's catch 是鱸魚。上碟的外觀感覺,是中式的。我同店經理笑說,this is Chinese Style fish cook and eat in a western way。

魚,看似是蒸的,其實是焗出來的,加上了薑、蔥、蒜、椒及青檸,賣相絕對是 Chinese Style。味道上,也是 Chinese Style,只不過,魚是以西式的方法去煮,同埋我地要用刀叉食。

肉質非常之滑,而鱸魚的肉又夠厚,小骨又不多,啱中國人口味,也啱西方人食。

脆鴨南瓜沙律 (Crispy Duck & Squash Salad),用上了芫茜葉,薄荷葉,及 Jamie Oliver 很喜歡用的石榴籽。鴨肉香,芫茜葉同薄荷葉帶出的特別味道,令人得到全新的味覺感受,薄荷葉的味,輕輕在口腔裡爆發,感覺奇怪,但好味道。

烤甜薯藜麥沙律 (Roasted Sweet Potato & Quinoa Salad),有蕃薯的甜,有牛油果配合,有咬感獨得的藜麥,加上石榴果肉及石榴籽,簡單可口,而且非常之健康。

Jamie's Italian 之前一直好火,一位難求,不過過左咁耐,終於變番正常餐廳,等左5分鐘就有位啦!叫左一個牛肝菌闊條麵$169,用野菌,意大利芝士煮成,個汁好creamy,好香。菌類不嬲都好香,加埋芝士,味道真的很夾。仲加入了少少白酒調味,令野菌的味道更香。仲叫左一個秘制放養烤雞$208。烤雞配上香辣蕃茄醬,橄欖,味道酸酸辣辣,帶點東南亞風味。火箭菜獨入的香味配上巴馬亞芝士,味道超讚! 另外很喜歡這裹的環境,一大幅巨型牆畫,很有美國漫畫的感覺!

仲叫左一個秘制放養烤雞$208。烤雞配上香辣蕃茄醬,橄欖,味道酸酸辣辣,帶點東南亞風味。火箭菜獨入的香味配上巴馬亞芝士,味道超讚!

另外很喜歡這裹的環境,一大幅巨型牆畫,很有美國漫畫的感覺!

的確是很香黑松露味, 不論是上菜時, 吃的時間, 還是吃完留在口腔的味也是黑松露. 直至下一道菜, 味道開始散去.
意大利飯做得很好, 飯粒稠度剛好, 不會太稀或太濃. 意大利飯幼滑綿糯帶點嚼勁.

起初怕好多芝士好膩. 但份量不算多, 吃完也不會太膩.

炭烤豬扒外層肉燒得很好看, 但肉質還是太硬, 幸好不會乾, 咬時有肉汁.

用玉米糊做的蛋糕, 好鬆軟而且比較濕潤, 沒有一般蛋糕的乾身感.
配上石榴及橙, 酸酸甜甜的味道. 整件蛋糕都好清甜, 感覺好健康, 無罪惡感的甜品.

吃個午餐, 雖然有肉有飯, 但分量不算多, 所以價錢頗貴. 但星期一至五好像有LUNCH SET (2/3 course). 如果周六也有就可以試到了. 因為甜品而來的, 倒覺得甜品更誘惑吸引, 價錢也偏貴.

一直好想試下過江龍Jamie's kichen,lunch 黎到,先點兩杯cocktail 味道清爽ok蟹肉多士,蟹肉夠多有誠意,味道清甜 burger,味道一般,漢堡乾身,配菜薯角係比較香口,夠脆,本身味道已有,唔駛茄汁 意粉,有d失望,味道唔夠濃郁。蕃茄沙律有平時少見既蕃茄,都算特別,都係一個清新開胃菜。

蕃茄沙律有平時少見既蕃茄,都算特別,都係一個清新開胃菜。

This restaurant generated some buzz when it first opened and always had a long line, but when we finally got to try it, we were in disbelief of the poor quality of food. A restaurant with a celebrity chef may attract some people at first, but it won't be sustainable serving below average food and charging fine dining price.The only thing positive is the manager (a polite young guy) who handled our complaint about the food very professionally. This restaurant generated some buzz when it first opened and always had a long line, but when we finally got to try it, we were in disbelief of the poor quality of food. A restaurant with a celebrity chef may attract some people at first, but it won't be sustainable serving below average food and charging fine dining price.
The only thing positive is the manager (a polite young guy) who handled our complaint about the food very professionally. He listened, apologised and tried within his ability to make us feel better. Someone should rescue this young man from this restaurant and put him somewhere which lives up to its reputation.
We visited the restaurant for dinner on a public holiday and were surprised there was no line outside. Upon seated, we first noticed the glasses were put face down on the just-wiped table, which isn't very hygienic. When we flipped the glasses, we saw stains and asked for change. The waitress appeared confused and explained "sometimes they seem dirty, but they aren't". We had to point out the stains and she reluctantly changed them.
We ordered the "famous prawn linguine", burger and tomato salad. The linguine and burger came first. The linguine is bland and tasteless. You can't help but feeling the chef didn't even try to add flavour to it, but simply mixed boiled linguine and tomato sauce. There were no "prawns" but some small shrimps, which are also tasteless, as if they accidentally slipped into the linguine. This is a dish, which is highlighted in box, named "our famous prawn linguine" and priced at HKD198. We are no master chef ourselves, but we can make linguine much more tasty than this for under HKD100! The burger is slightly better, but the main part - beef patty is way too dry.
We hate to complain about food, but when you are paying around HKD200 per main course and could have spent this money elsewhere with better food, it is hard to swallow it down. We spoke to the waitress and the manager. They explained it is the restaurant's standard to cook beef patty at 70 degrees (there is no choice of medium rare, medium etc.).
With the help of the manager, we ordered the fresh crab meat linguine and a sirloin steak, hoping for a better result. Unfortunately, both didn't "disappoint" in disappointing us again. While we were waiting for these, the tomato salad finally came. It was a tiny portion, just couple of halved tomatoes swimming in orange sauce.
We didn't want to waste more money ordering one after another bad dish. Our bill still came at around HKD600. The restaurant didn't knocked down anything or showed any gesture to make us want to come back again.
The restaurant does say there is normally no tip (discretionary tip of 10% may apply to a party of more than 10 people). It must be demoralising for the manager and staff to handle complaints and send back food. We'd rather the restaurant produces good quality food that justifies the price and we'd be more than happy to pay for it AND the tips. Serving embarrassing food and cut corner with staff's tips isn't fair.
Many people say they used to have a lot of respect for Jamie from watching his shows, but that image gets wiped out after they eat in this restaurant. I must say I had the same feeling after leaving that restaurant hungry and upset. Hopefully Jamie can look into it and investigate what went wrong.

My wife wished to have us for nice birthday lunch in CWB restaurant. Though we kept our expectations low we still walked out disappointed.1. Service was cold and not welcoming.2. Ask for apple juice got orange juice. steak, ask for well-done got less than rare which easy fixed by just warm up with sauce on it and everything else. it was3. it probably our fault choosing brand restaurant in CWB it definitely not better then any other tourist attractions restaurant you can find in CWB with low quality food and service. living in HKG for more than 12 Year we already have fair experience with restaurant but i must say that this one is on  the bottom of our recommendation list.
