Beef carpaccio
It is a traditional Italian appetizer consisting of raw beef sliced paper-thin, drizzled with olive oil, enormously fresh and raw.

Margherita pizza
Must taste this pizza, which is a typical Neapolitan pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes. Chef uses a sprinkling of basil on a crispy crust with fresh tomatoes, which are in season and so very ripe, coupled with his 40-year-old pizza craftsmanship, to cook this great dish that is full of textures and very juicy. I can only imagine that margherita pizza is countless.

Pasta & beans soup with garlic croutons
I decided to try this soup, its special. Italy's pasta and beans soup, with garlic croutons
Makes a hearty meal that is perfect for chilly nights. Ours is free of top allergens and gluten. We revealed that Pasta e fagioli means “pasta and beans” in Italian — chief changes it to be much more than that! This hearty vegetarian stew is full of irresistible fresh flavor. It's vegan, too, as long as you don't top it with cheese.

Classic tagliatelle Bolognese
In our mission, my friend has given me two options. This traditional tagliatelle with Bolognese is great. The sauce is made by Chef every time in the store. It cooked for a long hour. , Tagliatelle is ideal addition.

Bistecca alla fiorentina
Cannot wait for tasting. Bistecca alla Fiorentina is traditional recipe from Florence. After the steak is coming, staff is carefully to cut from the loin, just below the rib cage and above the round or rump. It is depending on which side of the pond it come from! This restaurant made a great job, with traditional Florentine steak recipe. It made our happy whole day.

Dark chocolate ganache
Chocolate ganache, which pronounced geh-Nahsh, is a basic pastry component made up of only two ingredients: melted chocolate and cream. It is a rich chocolate concoction that can be used as a sauce, frosting or glaze. It’s amazing.

黎到個樣幾靚仔喎,應該唔會衰啦。點知我太天真,佢頭兩樣都可以中伏第三樣點會唔中。叫咗一個趣脆豬Pizza入面有脆皮豬肉 醃鵝肝 無花果醬
首先佢個豬邊忽脆呢請問?仲有佢個鵝肝係有臭味 食咗一塊真係唔想再食落去,點解有間餐廳可以一樣比一樣野難食


後記,一路食嘅同時一路望吓其他人嘅反應發現好多人入嚟之前睇緊Menu嘅時候都笑笑口有講有笑,食緊嘅時候全部變晒黑面。其實當我一坐低見到我隔離枱嗰對男女食到木口木面,我就應該要走佢哋俾咗個warning俾我,我竟然睇唔到。好失敗

唔怪得知呢間野要用海狗城啲coupon啦,因為你五用coupon唔會有人想食,咁難食。

仲話米芝蓮總廚坐陣,佢應該純粹以前喺米芝蓮餐廳度收錢。

Simply is the best. A divine combination of home-made tagliatelle and fresh Bolognese sauce really taste superb to most of the trattoria in Hong Kong. The al-dente pasta with heavenly wheat-like taste absorb lots of tomato & beef sauces makes it more outstanding.

Tenderloin contains tender texture because of less connective tissue, as a perfect match to the creamy mash potato. The full-bodied meat sauce is worth mentioning because it undoubtedly assembles the dish to be more dynamic.

With whipping cream, crashed ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, espresso, cocoa, the traditional 6-layer dessert completely wrap up the meal. Yet, personally I recommend they more espresso powder can be added to make it less treacly.

A combination of red wine and a range of spirits alcohol. Surprisingly, it is not as intense as listed. However, the bitter taste can provide an equilibrium to the food above.

Aperol Spritz (Left) $88
A classic cocktail with orange bitters and sparkling wine. Easily to become my favorite drink because of the mildly fruity flavor.

Around 30 mins later I spoke to a staff member to follow up, but only to find that the row with my details got cancelled - obviously by accident. I also saw people who came after me get their table because they followed up thrice more. Eating this would make your lips and teeth black, but we couldn't care less because it was too good! 😍
Squid ink brings to the dish a distinct black color and a rich, savory taste.
Together with fresh red prawn tartare as well as delicate caviar, the dish was full of tangy sea flavor and umami. 💕

<Da Filippo> is proud of their house-made pastas. Apart from spaghetti, they do have other pasta options: Tortellini, tonnarelli, gnocchetti, tagliatelle, conchiglioni. Sounds legit!

Apart from pasta, their pizzas are made with sourdough that is also fermented and baked in-house!
Pizzas could hence be more chewy and full of wheat fragrance. 🥰
We thought the edge could be crunchier on the outside though.

The pizza was ultra cheesy 🤪  - with not one, but four kinds of cheeses!
So rich and delectable that it's a must-try for cheese lovers out there!

tbh this was my first time having an éclair as well as tasting saffron! 🤫
Saffron has this distinct, earthy flavor that I don't think everyone likes. But I heard it is one of the world's most expensive spices! 😮
The éclairs had light and fluffy shells that were topped with eggnog frosting.
What a nice finishing touch to the dinner❣️

it was well grilled,  with extremely tender and packed with beef flavor that my friend and i love

the tiramisu was so-so to me, i was hoping for more  coffee-flavoured 

It was abit noisy for chitchating, but still a good place with good food for dining overall!

假期去了海港城shopping,疫情之下很久沒有嘆過下午茶。之前已經去過Da Filippo Trattoria 吃午飯,Pizza 是我每月之星,這餐廳的pizza 做得不錯。今次便去試吓他們新出的意式下午茶套餐$328/2位,鹹甜點各一半。沒有像傳統英式下午茶的presentation, 只是簡單地放在木板上。我是一個甜品狂熱者,今次比較喜歡鹹點多啲,尤其是波士頓龍蝦法式多士及煙三文魚牛油果酥餅,另外風乾火腿青醬配水牛芝士麵包也很好吃;至於甜點Tiramisu一定是我的至愛,這裏做的雖然份量少啲,兼且兩款不同口味的果撻,味道也有水準,至於朱古力曲奇餅口感鬆脆!Tea Set 值得推介!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We have order 1 appetiser, 1 soup, 1 pizza, 1 beef, 1 pasta, 1 dessert and 2 drinks.

Firstly, we order beef tartare ($188) as an appetiser, it has an egg yolks inside the beef, also many different sources and cheese around the beef, after you mix the beef and the yolk, it taste very fresh without any fishy, all you can acceptable, and the sources make the beef to be different levels, it taste very specially.

Second, we order lobster bisque ($88 for 1 pax) as the soup, it was very creamy and have a lot of lobster meat inside the soup, it taste very dense and thick.

Thirdly, we order spaghetti carbonara, it taste very traditional, full of cream and egg yolk with a little bit smoked bacon, a little bit salty but suitable.

The forth dishes pizza named meat lovers ($198) , it have many different types of meat on the top of the pizza, like Mozzarella, Salami, Pharma Ham. Also include the cheese. As the meat have different salty level, it combos together, then it gets perfect match, very surprising.

The finally main dishes, Grilled Hanger Steak ($298), I have ordered medium rare for steak, with Grilled tomato and some vegetables, the steak cooked very delicious, very moderate.

Last but not least, the dessert, which the famous in the restaurant, Tiramisu ($68). It has fully coffee taste and full of cream, also it has cake in the middle, overall, it is very tasty and yummy.

And finally, we ordered one glass of white wine and one mocktail called Purple rain , it has lavender to decorate the drinks, but it not suitable for everyone as it smell like to eat lanvender directly.

4️⃣Sous-Vide Lamb Chops with Sundried Tomatoes & Eggplant Purée 低溫慢煮香嫩羊架配油漬蕃茄及茄子蓉 $328
呢個羊架完全冇羶味,火候控制得幾好,羊肉嘅外層脆脆地,而內裏就夠嫩滑。配菜亦見用心,油漬蕃茄好食,同茄子蓉配搭得宜。

服務
侍應嘅應對態度尚算專業,唯整個用餐過程都冇十分主動照顧食客嘅需要,服務平平。結帳離座時亦沒有任何客氣的道別語,完全稱不上係一間有良好服務嘅餐廳。

用餐環境
今次我哋有幸被安排到一個小間隔,坐一張八人枱,位置非常闊落。但縱觀樓面的用餐環境,座位比較逼夾。可能裝修設計關係,餐廳環境亦都非常嘈雜,整體氣氛差。

餐廳位置
由柯士甸站戲曲中心行過去會比較近,去到港威中心地下入口搭扶手電梯上兩層直達。

埋單$1003(連加一服務費)大廚係米芝蓮一星廚師,呢個價錢食呢個質素,價錢可謂親民。

整體6.9/10 總結係覺得名過其實 借住總廚個名pub得好勁
但出面其實好多意大利餐廳 甚至小店都可以高質過佢
見佢有其他特別啲嘅pasta 可能特別啲好食啲idk
但我會覺得如果連classic dishes都做唔好 已經吸引唔到我想再去了
特別想講下賣相 擺盤真係有待改善...💩

Whenever I'm craving, I will always look for good restaurant.
Da Filippo Trattoria - It is what I want for!

It was a great experience and food was very nice.  
First of all, the decoration was nice. The seats and table we felt cozy.
We had 7 courses  tonight. All were excellent.

Chicken Wings - HKD88 - It was fried and was so crispy. It was sauced with Tabasco with little bit spicy.
Beans soup - HKD68 - It was a traditional Italian soup with pasta. Honestly, it wasn't bad
Parma Ham -HKD128 - It was little bit salty for me. However, my girlfriend she loved it so much. She was a fan of Parma Ham and she recognized it !
Ink Spahetti with Caviar - HKD328 - it was fantastic. The food was ordered to cook. Therefore, it was warm and the  Caviar was so fresh!
Sea food Pizza - HKD198 - As you can see the picture, the pizza is a size that can served 4 people indeed. And you should find out that the pizza was full of ingredients. I can tell you the pie was so crispy!! Very delicious!
Pork Ribs - HKD298 - At this moment, we were filled enough. However, it can stopped the magic of this restaurant. The pork rib was perfect. Easy to cut and was favourable.

We also ordered two mocktails. I am not a fan of it, so I do not elaborate more here. But in fact, it has its signature and you should get one glass!
All in all, I spent around HKD1500 for the dinner. 
It was a very nice dinner and food was very excellent. And the restaurant manager was so polite.
Next time when I come back again, we should cut 2 courses off. It was a bit much for us tonight. But it was pleasant!
