想吃印度菜但又未必喜歡重慶大廈👳🏾‍♂️咁hardcore，中環的 Chaiwala @chaiwalahk 就啱哂你心水。這間新派的民族風小店位於雲咸街，門口隱蔽(姐去到搵唔到打左去餐廳問😅）主打口味相對清新的印度菜，比起坊間的少了一份油膩感和濃烈，更易入口，絕對係可以約女仔去的印度菜🇮🇳🤭因為小店的環境同氣氛都好舒服！今次試左Tasting menu，即是印度版的Omakase ($480/位) 主要是廚師的推介、總括來說係可以試哂餐廳出名的菜式，啱哂選擇困難症又或者望到menu都唔知講緊咩野的你🥲🙏🏻先來一些特色小吃Chaat✨Pani Puri with Jal-jeera 中間空心的油炸球填上馬鈴薯泥、洋蔥、番茄、豆類等，加入孜然煮成的水，倒一半入中間成粒啪入口😳香脆和豆類的綿滑成為對比。🥔Aloo Tikka Chaat是一個加入了薯仔餅和乳酪的小吃，入口甜甜地好重印度的香料味。🐑Rara Kheema pav Bombay Bun這個必試！！當免治羊肉加入了牛油烘過的甜包，放入紫洋蔥增加爽脆和清新，味道有街邊小吃的感覺。🦀Crab egg Bhurji印度式的蟹肉炒蛋，份量

Chaiwala係一間位於中環嘅印度菜fine dine餐廳，呢間餐廳係喺地庫，所以都唔易搵🤣無一個牌寫住，大家要影就認住佢地個藍色牆紅色門啦🤣入到黎餐廳氣氛好好，好浪漫，好岩同朋友打卡或者帶埋您嘅另一半過黎💓值得一讚嘅係Waiter會細心問我地有無黎過，再介紹啲菜式比我地，所以就算無食過印度菜嘅朋友都唔洗擔心👍🏻［Masala Beef Balls 瑪薩拉肉丸 $150］肉丸嘅每一粒都幾大粒，醬料都幾香幾濃，呢個配搭都幾好食😋［Old Delhi Butter Chicken 牛油雞配番茄葫蘆巴醬 $150 / Basmati Rice 印度香米飯 $40 / Naan Buttered 牛油饢餅 / Naan Garlic 蒜香饢餅 $45］一開始都驚印度醬汁會好辣，但呢個就一啲都唔辣仲好香🤤雞就比較偏乾身，唔係好食得出雞味🤣因為佢地個醬汁都真係幾濃下👍🏻用naan黎點佢地個醬汁就真係一流啦！再唔係可以嗌多個飯，撈埋佢地嘅飯食真係好好食！而佢地嘅飯一如傳統係好粒粒分明，好有咬口，撈埋佢地嘅醬汁真係好特別！今次我地試咗佢地牛油味同埋蒜香味嘅naan，兩個都好香好煙韌😋佢地嘅牛油味唔算

We have always been fans of Pirata restaurants and forward looking forward to our booking on the weekend. Even though we arrived on time, we were asked to wait in the bar area amongst huge crowds of rowdy guests (presumably who just finished their meal). 15 minutes later when we were finally brought in, the restaurant was actually not full at all. ❀ Chaiwala #中環 ❀❗️裝修一流印度餐廳 期間限定$198位❗️——————————————————DiningCity’s restaurant week又返嚟啦！由今日起至9月5日有多達數百間餐廳嘅優惠(有興趣了解更多可以睇返我嘅highlight😚)。今次嚟到bookmark已久嘅印度餐廳，午市$198位，無需加一😆！聽過唔少好評，甚為出名。其實佢係屬於大型外國飲食集團Pirata，為人熟悉嘅意大利餐廳Pici都屬同一集團，質素有一定嘅保證，而且都係充滿異國vibe嘅餐廳🤩裝修非常有風味，藍色嘅外牆配上紅色大門極之奪目，內裏仲有好多印度裝飾，非常之靚！不過今次嘅食物就冇想像中咁特別啦。.✷𝑀𝑒𝓃𝓊✷☞ DiningCity’s restaurant week $198/1 無加一♥ Starter✦ Aloo Tikka Chaat (4.1/5)係一舊香口嘅炸薯餅，表面香脆，內裏係紮實綿滑嘅薯蓉。最正係表面嘅印度醬汁，有常見嘅乳酪、薄荷醬、同埋甜甜地嘅啡色醬汁，互相平衡得好好。再加上少許香辣香料、鷹嘴豆，好惹味😋！.✦ Pani Puri with Jal Jeeri

Great food, great service, and very cultured atmosphere. The wait staff assigned to our table was very professional and accommodating. We got the tasting menu at $480 and it was worth it and filling. We even had take outs cause we didn’t finish all of the food served. 💯

Its a hidden gem! Nice atmosphere, a getaway from busy Central life, to enjoy a great British Indian dining experience. Will have to try their free flow next time! Services were excellent! Must tip them for their efforts 😊

中環這間以印度餐為fine dining 的 Chaiwala，帶出印度咖喱和薄餅的傳統味道，還好像置身於印度的高級市集。雲咸街有不少特色食店，但平時人不多，大部份食店都坐不滿人。這間Chaiwala 位於地庫，初初進去看似杳無人煙，經過走廊進到大廳後，原來客似雲來。這裏的set lunch分量不細，點了兩個$198的set lunch，兩個大人和兩個小朋友都已經吃得很飽。選了Samosa (咖喱餃）和Aloo Tikka Chaat (土豆炸丸子)為starter。主菜點一份Chicken Tikka (香料烤雞)，第一口感覺不到辣味，在咀嚼中雞肉內的咖喱香料逐漸滲出來， 要加一點蛋白醬中和一下吃印度菜怎能少了咖喱和薄餅這一對好朋友，薄餅在熱的時候才是最美味，當中點了一個牛肉咖喱和魚咖喱，一甜一辣。特別是這個魚咖喱，越食越辣，應該落了不少黃姜汁，最適合跟牛油薄餅一同慢慢咀嚼。最後在甜品方面點了這一份超甜的芒果奶凍 Mango Panna Cotta，甜到小朋友都吃不完。除了奶凍，也選擇了一杯小小的印度奶茶，還有拉茶表演。細細一杯已精神爽利。在這一間餐廳吃飯，是需要一點耐性，食物不會趕

Finally tried chaiwala, this is the last resto from pirata group that I tried, it didn’t disappoint.. First of all, I love the eye catching blue wall and red door so much, and I immediately attracted by their beautiful interior decor after I got in. The resto size is surprisingly big. We tried their weekend brunch for $298, and there were lots food. U could try almost all of their signature dish from this weekend brunch menu. We got the street food /salad platter, classic tandoori chicken, lamb

A random dinner at Chaiwala. Excellent atmosphere with good food. Ordered 2 curry for 2 ladies and wasn’t disappointed. Butter chicken is the all time favourite and did order another vegan curry. The vegan curry was mild and with strong coconut milk flavour which I like it a lot.We also ordered some butter naan which was crispy outside and fluffy inside. It tasted soo good.The price was decent and will come back again if we have a chance.

An absolutely beautiful lunch at Chaiwala. Really relaxing warm atmosphere and delicious food. A perfect spot for some truest fantastic Indian food if your in central.

最近去了很多印度餐廳, 這一間是我很喜歡的約了友人中午去這間印度餐廳友人較早到達因為沒有開GOGGLE MAP, 找不到餐廳, 原來已行過了餐廳門口藍色牆身和紅色大門很適合打卡餐廳裝飾用心, 還有很多外國人在用餐我選了starter : aloo tikki chaat有chickpea, potato , yogurt 等等, 賣相很好, 甜甜辣辣的很好食食了starter已經很飽!curries選了kofta curry咖哩不辣, 椰汁很香kofta是圓球的炸薯餅, 香口還有masala tea, 香料味好棒, 沒有加糖, 好好飲

ChaiwalaUnder the pirata group - their quality was quite secured i’d say🙈This will not disappoint whoever fancies some indian cuisine and also wants a more classy one👍service wise, some serves were friendly and welcoming, while some werent so☹️Yet, this is def not the Indian resto that has extraordinarily flattered my taste buds🙈One dish that i found particularly satisfying would be the classic chicken tikka - super tender chicken and flavoured just right🤩The rest was mediocre sadly

話咁快一齊拍拖半年😘💕👼🏿所以大佬book咗呢隱世印度餐廳🍴慶祝吓估唔到咁有驚喜😳🍸💕柴瓦拉位於中環最繁華的鹹雲街。 它沒有任何標誌，藏身於內襯藍色牆壁的紅色大門內。 推開厚重的門，走下樓梯，首先是一家名為 Hugger Mugger 的英國沙龍酒吧，“隱藏在一個不起眼的門後面，沿著天空照亮的樓梯，內行人的一顆隱藏的寶石”通過 Hugger Mugger，Chaiwala 是 另一種風格，多彩活潑。 餐廳分為三個區域，空間很大，不局促。 昏暗的燈光照射在復古的牆壁、圓桌、吊燈上的花束、黑白照片的老電視上，讓人彷彿置身於孟買一家人的客廳。 活潑、浪漫、充滿異域風情，讓人感受到到鄰家做客的溫暖。

Went here for a colleague’s birthday. The staffs were super friendly. They sing happy birthday and gave free birthday cake. They also gave us free dessert!Overall good food. Very good service and love the vibes. Totally recommend their Butter Chicken Curry and their starter that is in the shape of a ball (I forgot the name but I attached the photo here)

It’s just the perfect snack or appetiser, must try!) it’s crunchy on the outside but soft and cheesy on the inside.Bombay fried chicken: fried boneless chicken thighs with spices (this reminded me a little bit of kfc chicken HAHHA because it was quite crispy but I loved this as well!) this is so flavourful and you can taste the spices which is delicious 😜
