荔枝角有很多好餐廳, 之前試過的Amuse、G.Crusine、G.Gallery 都很不錯。今次因為有75折優恵,所以就想試。當晚dinner set:1. 前菜:火腿、蕃茄帶子、春卷 >火腿加上橄欖油、帶子火炙後鋪上酸辣蕃茄碎、春卷又脆又香口2. 餐湯、餐包 >是日餐湯是蕃茄湯,質感不算濃稠,但至少不會太酸,令人開胃。不得不提這兒的麵包,雖然外層有點過硬,但味道很香很特別,未知是否混入少許糯米粉,令麵包帶有一股糯米的香甜3. 當晚dinner set:

>我試的是紅提烤雞,外層烤得很香,雞肉很嫩,但無雞味,亦感覺不到有香草或紅提的味道。在嚐了一口男友的烤羊架後,再食烤雞,只能說有點淡然無味。

4. 甜品/咖啡
>是日甜品是Brownie,質感似普通朱古力蛋糕,但朱古力味挺濃,賣相也不錯。咖啡點了Cappuccino ,個人不懂咖啡,所以我對咖啡的意見不值參考哦。因為我只嚐到苦,男友卻讚好,似乎很欣賞。

其實這間餐廳整體是不錯,不過Main course是set dinner的靈魂,所以才給ok公仔樣。不過話說回來,如果沒有75折,這一餐會變得很貴呢

一直想約一次荔枝角飯局, 正好Bondi Cafe風評頗佳, 地點方便, 令人想起Bondi Rescue, 嘿嘿, 暗姣發作, 時地人難得俱備. 星期六午訂了枱, 就奢侈一下吧. 餐前的麵包沒太關注, 如烤得熱烘烘上桌就錦上添花. 濃郁美味的蘑菇湯, 一點也不欺場. 豬排的份量少了點, 沒預想的多汁, 且太有嚼勁, 豆汁不是很突出. 最後的Macchiato很好喝. 咖啡只要是苦澀香濃我就喜歡了. 蒜蓉大蝦天使麵就外觀味道兼而有之. 侍者都很"順眼", 禮貌周周的, 不過介紹食物和咖啡方面要加把勁. 座位臨窗, 安排很貼心, 白天的採光很明亮. 餐桌之間的距離適中, 椅子踏實而舒服, 洗手間清潔寛堂, 是和朋友小聚, 享受食物的好地方.

看過其他人的食評, 本想不去這餐廳, 幸而去了, 竟有點喜出望外.雖然知道地址, 還是很難找. 在荔枝角地鐵站D2出口, 之後要往長沙灣方向走, 在長順街, 見到7-11, 過馬路.我們在億利工業大廈下面轉了兩圈, 最後要問樓下的護衛, 上到2樓, 才找到. 它的入口是在億利工業大廈, 地下兩旁是一間越南餐廳, 和一間快餐廳中間, 門前是44M綠色小巴站.晚上七時去到, 只有一檯人, 不過有些檯已預訂. 後來陸續有客, 有八成多滿座, 大部分是熟客. 老闆頗有性格, 8:45pm 有客入, 他竟說怕廚師應付不來, 竟然拒客不接, 可見老闆對食物及服務態度之認真. 我們吃了香煎鱸魚, 西冷牛扒, 白咖啡.香煎鱸魚 ($176): 鱸魚肉鮮嫩, 魚皮香脆, 配以檸檬蜜糖汁, 開胃好味. 上菜時還是燙口的. 伴碟有薯條, 薯蓉, 煎茄子, 煎翠肉瓜, 新鮮生菜, 薯蓉的味道很特別, 原來是加了Polenta. 薯條是蓮薯皮的.西冷牛扒 ($228): 牛扒要了半生熟, 很有咬口. 伴碟有薯條, 薯蓉, 煎茄子, 煎意大利翠肉瓜, 新鮮生菜. 份量很足夠, 我們都吃得很飽, 不明白為何其他食評

西冷牛扒 ($228): 牛扒要了半生熟, 很有咬口. 伴碟有薯條, 薯蓉, 煎茄子, 煎意大利翠肉瓜, 新鮮生菜. 份量很足夠, 我們都吃得很飽, 不明白為何其他食評說份量很少.

白咖啡 ($30): 咖啡香味濃郁, 喜歡喝咖啡的人一定不可錯過.

侍應的服務有禮, 上菜時會問要不要加黑椒粉調味, 見我們的水杯空了, 也會自動加水.

注意: 始終是工業大廈, 要乘貨 lift. 對環境要有心理準備. 不過餐廳的廁所很乾淨.

家住長沙灣工廠附近,網友很多介紹廠廈內的西餐廳,從未試過這類型的餐廳,孤身去試一次,6時半前到沒有人客,看看是日的晚餐,價錢不便宜280-320一客(差不多自助餐的價錢)前菜 – 牛肉、帶子、菇 (份量很少,味道還可)湯+麵包 - 用粟米湯(很一般大蜆一隻+濶條麵 – 濶條麵用蒜茸+牛油略炒 (偏淡)主菜(魚/牛選一款) – 我選了牛,牛肉質稔,味道好,應該是這樣所以沒有驚喜咖啡 - 咖啡是這里的買點,加了20元選了件芝士蛋糕 (好一般的貨式)有點失望,比我期望水準差一點,若只在這里喝杯咖啡包你沒有失望。

Overpriced - the price shown in open rice is obviously mislead. We paid around 300 for each person.Set dinner menu only - no other choice of food except the overpriced menu with two options only, ranging from 288-320.Environment is not so nice given that it is located in a poorly renovated industrial building. Lift and corridor are so much like in an industrial building!!! Indeed it is!! Interior is ok but just with minimal decoration. I don't see any heart of the owner in making the place nicer

Tables are too closed to each other - I can overhear anyone saying next to my table. And indeed someone (guess it is the owner) was speaking loudly that we cannt really enjoy the whole nite!

Food is not fantastic - can see that the chef is not making the food with heart. Dressing and sauce are just minimal. The tendorlion is ok but without sufficient sauce. Too dry.. The hot chocolate is served with ordinary water glass, therefore not with an ear. We hardly carry the glass before it is cooler..

The owner and staff take real care to produce a dining experience that is a cut above many more expensive places on HK Island and Kowloon.

We read about the place in a local newspaper article, and booked a table on a Friday evening. The building -- located only half a block from Exit A of MTR Lai Chi Kok station -- is very industrial looking, and rather grotty on the outside, but it has a number of restaurants in it, judging by the photos in the lobby; this one is on the 2nd floor. The place was very full at 8 pm, but we only waited a couple of minutes for our table to be cleared. As soon as you step in the door, the ambience is bright and warm -- brick walls and sunny photos of Bondi Beach in Sydney enliven it. (Ken, the owner/manager, was brought up in Bondi.)

On this evening, the staff was clearly stretched to serve all the lively tables, but they managed without huge delays. (I would try to plan my next visit for a weeknight, for a bit more personal attention.) There were four people on duty, and two spoke native-quality English (which was a bit of a surprise, as we were far from the Anglo ghettos of Soho and Happy Valley.....)

The menu is short, including appetizer, soup, small portion of pasta of the day and then a choice of four main courses (fish, steak, pork or lamb). They prefer to concentrate on a limited number of choices and do them well -- and I would say they succeed fully!

We had:
-- a plate of small appetizers (rare beef, wonderful tasty mushrooms and a smoked scallop) on lettuce leaves -- very tasty!
-- a bowl of sweet corn soup (flavorful, but a tad too sweet for my taste -- tasted a bit like a HK dessert soup)
-- a small portion of fresh egg pasta with a large sweet clam. Wow, that pasta was wonderful -- it was clearly excellent-quality fresh pasta (not the dried stuff) and the waiter reported it was cooked with cream and butter, but the sauce was very lightly applied, with no evidence of cream actually on it. So no heavy "cream-sauce" appearance; just a really great taste! I could have eaten three more portions.
-- A tenderloin steak, perfectly pan-fried "medium" as requested, so still pink on the inside, with more of the yummy mushrooms on the side.
-- A large pork chop with a light gravy. (My companion was sufficiently impressed to eat every bit and never offered to share, so I can't provide more details.)

They don't seem to have desserts on the menu, but coffee is included and oooooohhhhh do they have GOOD coffee! It was the evening, so I had to order decaf, and even that was thick and sweet and full of flavor, without a hint of the bitterness one sometimes finds in decaf. The latte was a dessert in itself!

The all-in cost for this was $368 per person, which made it a real good value! (They advertise "no service charge.")

They have no license to sell wines, so you can bring your own for a very modest corkage charge (which they sometimes waive).

So all in all we had a fine meal, in very interesting surroundings (le vrai Hongkong!) and the price was quite moderate. Well worth the trip.

好幾年沒有見面,話題真的三日三夜也談不完。點好餐,邊吃著沙律麵包,邊聊天。沙律菜大致新鮮清爽,蕃茄仔甜美,青蘋果也不會太酸,是恰當的開胃小食。反而,麵包就太硬了,要花力氣去咬。

沒有其他的頭盤,直接跳到主菜,可以講吓對方的白酒蜆肉寬麵,因為我毫不客氣地搶了來試。雖然只是一碟麵,但明顯的花了心思擺盤,是西餐可愛的地方。寬麵質地幾好,富咬口,蛋香豐富;蜆肉新鮮,爽甜不會腥,還有頗濃的酒香,挺不錯,朋友也吃得滿意。

至於我那份,是煎羊扒。侍者沒問及生熟程度,幸而出來仍是外香內嫩,沾上露絲瑪莉汁味道良好。要挑剔的是欠缺羊羶香,始終吃羊沒有那股味道,感覺總是差一點點。

完成了羊扒,走到餅櫃跟前,打算挑選甜品,卻發現只得三款,並且未見誘人,遂放棄了,出外面再食更好。直接跳到餐飲,既然人家的專長是咖啡,便要一杯Latte。有著美妙的拉花,看起來已很對勁,視覺率先得到享受。呷一口,很醇厚的味道,果然名不虛傳。

對此café的整體印象正面,下次可帶同事過來午餐。

今晚訂了在黑麥晚飯, 聽說2樓新開了一間Cafe, 內裡有一台好正的咖啡機. 那就用膳後上去試下有幾好. 站在bar 桌前點了3杯飲品, 店長 Kenneth 邊沖邊解答我們對咖啡的提問. 知到咖啡豆由澳洲來, 連佢自己都是由澳洲來~~ 咖啡味比較濃不帶酸味, 一般歐洲的咖啡豆都會帶點酸, 我個人未習慣, 而店長堅持要18G的咖啡粉沖一杯, 如果受不了, 就要下單時指明咖啡要沖淡一點, 此外, 奶亦是好最要, 雖然不是由澳洲空運過來, 但入口好滑, 好綿. 這正是在打奶時的熱度和打出蒸氣的力度調合得好好才能做出, 整杯的溫度都是熱烘烘, 在外好少會飲到這個溫度, 通常加奶後都會變得暖暖的, 入口就帶不出咖啡的香味咧~~當我飲第一口的感覺就是綿滑/香濃/細緻, 不用加糖已經好好味, 之後, 我再加入一包糖, 愛甜味者, 更感到整杯咖啡再提升一級而視覺上亦能滿足, 你可以欣賞到咖啡師整個沖調過程, 對咖啡有興趣的人士絕對是一個好地方.環境 : 簡單的設計, 以白色為主, 感覺好舒適, 同朋友來傾談又不用太過拘緊, 不用壓低把聲, 但又不會好似茶餐廳咁嘈吵, 不過店在廠廈內, 入夜

咖啡味比較濃不帶酸味, 一般歐洲的咖啡豆都會帶點酸, 我個人未習慣, 而店長堅持要18G的咖啡粉沖一杯, 如果受不了, 就要下單時指明咖啡要沖淡一點, 此外, 奶亦是好最要, 雖然不是由澳洲空運過來, 但入口好滑, 好綿. 這正是在打奶時的熱度和打出蒸氣的力度調合得好好才能做出,
整杯的溫度都是熱烘烘, 在外好少會飲到這個溫度, 通常加奶後都會變得暖暖的, 入口就帶不出咖啡的香味咧~~
當我飲第一口的感覺就是綿滑/香濃/細緻, 不用加糖已經好好味, 之後, 我再加入一包糖, 愛甜味者, 更感到整杯咖啡再提升一級

I totally agree with nicihk. This cafe owner, Ken, really has the heart on every food and drink!Appetizer: smoked salmon salad. No salad sauce but the fish oil deeply mixed with the fresh veggie.Rosé: The cafe still couldnt sell wine, therefore, this was free. Ken said this tasted good with the salad and the prawn pesto spaghetti. And this wine wasnt too sweet/girly. (I dont like sweet wine) It was good and rich!Prawn pesto spaghetti: Prawns were so fresh and big. Pesto filled up the whole dish!

Appetizer: smoked salmon salad. No salad sauce but the fish oil deeply mixed with the fresh veggie.

Rosé: The cafe still couldnt sell wine, therefore, this was free. Ken said this tasted good with the salad and the prawn pesto spaghetti. And this wine wasnt too sweet/girly. (I dont like sweet wine) It was good and rich!

Prawn pesto spaghetti: Prawns were so fresh and big. Pesto filled up the whole dish! The portion was big! Very homemade. I love it!

Lamb chop: It was NZ lamb chop. Thick, juicy and full of fresh lamb taste. Well matched with the red wine Ken provided.

Rosé and red wine: The wine was free. Ken said this French red wine was a gift from his friends. I am looking forward to see the Oz wine and Pinot Noir he said he would import.

Latte and piccolo: Ken made these 2 cups. I could smell and taste the freshness of the bean cos they wont keep the bean for a long period. The taste was rich, creamy and fresh.

"fine coffee, fine wine, fine food" is the spirit of this restaurant. I hope they can keep this spirit and freshness. I enjoyed the (my husband's) bday dinner so much!
题外话/补充资料: [i]Tonight we were eating their lunch menu cos they are still thinking about the dinner menu. They will change the menu after the CNY holiday. The portion will be smaller than now but will keep the freshness.[/i]

週末一次的無心插柳,竟然讓我們碰上一間足以令我寫我第一篇的食評。。。剛在香港開業的一個澳洲的年輕人,把他在澳洲經營飲食的經驗重新賦予一種體驗 - 簡單而自然的設計,自然來自於用材與牆上的相畫,而不是綠色的堆砌。Lunch 的menu有湯或沙拉,主菜(有素,salmon,steak等的選擇)和飲品。我們點了番茄魚茸湯,Veggie Linguine,crisply salmon in dill cream sauce。linguine煮得剛好,sauce好味不過油。salmon皮很脆,新鮮(店主說salmon是從澳洲來的),好味。飲品可以任選,經過店主介紹咖啡的嚴選與製作,讓我這個從不喝咖啡的人也忍不住要了杯latte,雖然我不知道其他地方的latte是怎樣,我只能說感覺很好,原來咖啡真的可以不放糖也可以好味的。同行的點了expresso,聽說有回甘的cinnamon味道!店主的熱情加上他對食物的要求,衷心的祝愿他成功並保持這一份對理想的追求與堅持!下次要試試他的dinner
