最底同樣有酸種多士配最愛的牛油果、Smoked Salmon再放上Benedict Egg,淋上Hollandaise荷蘭醬🍯除咗Smoke Salmon, 可以揀搭配Bacon🥓靚靚賣相提升咗我的期望,但一切開Benedict Egg徹底幻滅。(swipe left to 3rd image)應該係叫Boiled Egg🥲一滴蛋汁都冇... 整體上唔算好出色好特別。

🅵🅾🅾🅳:如果只食sourdough egg tart,建議外賣就可以。堂食食物質素唔值呢個價錢💸失敗的benedict egg令人大失所望。

我知呢間野嘅Sourdough Egg Tart蛋撻$12係好出名,我今日終於試到,但係我覺得未需要排到咁誇張。首先撻係好香嘅,外層皮係酥脆,但應該面個層焦糖太強勁,搞到個撻係好甜,係冚過個蛋香味。我個人覺得名過於實。Walnut & Fig Sourdough無花果合桃酸種麵包$36反而呢無花果合桃酸種麵包$36令我好驚喜。入邊見到無花果肉同核桃同量多。酸種麵色既特別:外皮煙韌,要你咀嚼得耐,但入邊係濕潤同軟,最後仲帶有少少酸味。呢個酸種麵包$36,抵食同好食過個撻好多!

Finally sat down at Bakehouse for the first time! We were told that it would be approximately a 1.5 hr wait, so we went somewhere else for lunch and returned afterwards for dessert/ a second meal! 🍄Crispy portobello mushroom HKD 48Loved this! Batter was light and super crispy and the mushroom was so juicy! 😍Perfect with the sriracha mayo! And there was a total of 5 huge pieces! Actually very reasonably priced given the quality and generous portion size! Would recommend😉🥐Sourdough egg tart HKD 12

🍄Crispy portobello mushroom HKD 48
Loved this! Batter was light and super crispy and the mushroom was so juicy! 😍Perfect with the sriracha mayo! And there was a total of 5 huge pieces! Actually very reasonably priced given the quality and generous portion size! Would recommend😉

🥐Sourdough egg tart HKD 12
Just could not resist getting one when they came round telling us there was a fresh batch ready to be served! Super buttery sourdough base (more of the chewy kind than the crispy flaky kind though) with a smooth eggy centre😍 As a lover of traditional egg tart, I felt like the butteriness of the sourdough base sort of overpowered the egg flavour, but oh well, loved it all the same!

🥐Almond Danish HKD 30
Was pleasantly surprised by how good this was! There was some sort of almond purée inside the danish as well, not just the typical custard filling! Flavour was super natural and perfect level of sweetness! Not super flaky or crispy though and relatively on the chewy side as well, but loved it all the same! Would love to try their able crumble danish next time!

🍫Hot Chocolate Ecuador 66% HKD 48 +5 almond milk
This was straight up decadent dark chocolate in liquid form! Love that they offer almond milk for hot chocolate as well (for some reason some cafes don’t offer non-diary option for hot chocolate even though they offer it for coffee), which made the drink lighter and not as filling, but you get to enjoy that same chocolatey satisfaction! Would definitely reorder this next time!

I also love their hazelnut doughnut!! Coated with dark chocolate, with super fluffy texture and filled to the brim with hazelnut cream! Can’t wait to try their other doughnut flavours!

外層酥皮圓圓的,撻皮酥脆有點焦糖的口感,面層蛋皮較厚身,中間的蛋餡似焦糖燉蛋,香甜幼滑蛋香濃郁,比一般蛋撻企身,食完唔覺膩,一個人可以啪幾隻🥰😍

egg tart 8/10  12hkd the egg tart worth the waiting, with the crust is a bit firm(harder) than those in Macau, it's most special character is the croissant like, a bit sponge feel like a crispy crust. the egg is more to the milk side than the egg when it comes to 2 stuff balance. only the egg crust sink in the middle with a basin shape like that more custard I would like to have in the tart, and it is a bit sweet but still a good dessert. but I would still prefer the one in Macau than this hehe

Finally sat down at Bakehouse for the first time! We were told that it would be approximately a 1.5 hr wait, so we went somewhere else for lunch and returned afterwards for dessert/ a second meal! 🍄Crispy portobello mushroom HKD 48Loved this! Batter was light and super crispy and the mushroom was so juicy! 😍Perfect with the sriracha mayo! And there was a total of 5 huge pieces! 🍄Crispy portobello mushroom HKD 48
Loved this! Batter was light and super crispy and the mushroom was so juicy! 😍Perfect with the sriracha mayo! And there was a total of 5 huge pieces! Actually very reasonably priced given the quality and generous portion size! Would recommend😉

🥐Sourdough egg tart HKD 12
Just could not resist getting one when they came round telling us there was a fresh batch ready to be served! Super buttery sourdough base (more of the chewy kind than the crispy flaky kind though) with a smooth eggy centre😍 As a lover of traditional egg tart, I felt like the butteriness of the sourdough base sort of overpowered the egg flavour, but oh well, loved it all the same!

🥐Almond Danish HKD 30
Was pleasantly surprised by how good this was! There was some sort of almond purée inside the danish as well, not just the typical custard filling! Flavour was super natural and perfect level of sweetness! Not super flaky or crispy though and relatively on the chewy side as well, but loved it all the same! Would love to try their able crumble danish next time!

🍫Hot Chocolate Ecuador 66% HKD 48 +5 almond milk
This was straight up decadent dark chocolate in liquid form! Love that they offer almond milk for hot chocolate as well (for some reason some cafes don’t offer non-diary option for hot chocolate even though they offer it for coffee), which made the drink lighter and not as filling, but you get to enjoy that same chocolatey satisfaction! Would definitely reorder this next time!

I also love their hazelnut doughnut!! Coated with dark chocolate, with super fluffy texture and filled to the brim with hazelnut cream! Can’t wait to try their other doughnut flavours!

呢間藍底白字既紙袋係條街度見到都好eye catching 因為呢間餅店長期大排長龍 每次經過都好多人等緊 所以一路都無試過 直到有一日同同事一齊食完lunch 竟然唔係好多人排隊 於是就試一試啦 買左兩個牛角包 🥐 兩個鬆餅 三個蛋撻 每一款我都食左一個:1. 蛋撻 ᴴᴷ$12 (好有蛋香 好滑 外層酥皮唔係好脆好多層次 不過好有牛油香味)2. 牛角包ᴴᴷ$20 (價錢係有d貴 不過幾好味 外層都夠酥脆 裡面係蜂巢狀 有嚼勁 愈嚼愈食到牛油香 3. 鬆餅ᴴᴷ$12 (外面夠脆 裡面夠鬆軟 可惜無附送cream同埋jam)

這個應該不用再介紹吧🤣 
絕對是人氣之作,每次經過中環或灣仔定必見到長長的人龍,為的就是這個Egg Tart😌
這次早早來到,等候時間⏳並不長,吃時還有點暖意🤤 
葡撻一樣的賣相,外層的sourdough酥香無比,牛油🧈味更濃,層次豐富,撻皮煙韌,口感比酥皮更可口 🤌🏻
中間的蛋心🥚蛋味濃郁,表面還有一層薄薄的焦糖,像吃布丁🍮一樣的質感,甜度適中不會覺得油膩
焦糖微香加上蛋香,還有點點🥛奶香,絕對是吃過最好吃的蛋撻😋!

這次一大清早來到,只需等5分鐘左右就買到了✌🏻
一試真的「聞名不如見面」,實在好吃👍🏻 是吃過的最好吃的Egg Tart,絕對會二訪、三訪~

I am probably in the minority, but I don’t understand the hype around bakehouse. I’ve been twice — once lining up and the other without. Both times I got the sourdough egg tart which is in fact their best pastry. The custard is sweet and the pastry crust is flaky — however it is definitely more like a Portuguese tart than an egg tart. The apple crumble danish is just not very good. It’s very buttery but not in a good way (my mouth was just very oily after taking my first bite). It was also very chewy and hard. Not sure if this was an old batch they had on hand but I bought it at around 3pm.
I also tried one of their chocolate cookies, which crumbled in my hand as I picked it up to eat. While I appreciate chewy cookies, this was mostly dry and the flavour of the chocolate wasn’t very pleasant.

I’ve tried one of their savoury items — the quiche Lorraine which I quite enjoyed. The filing was well balanced and the crust was light and flaky.

I think I would enjoy this place more if it weren’t for the price and the overhype. If I were to come here again I wouldn’t wait in line and once I get to the cashier I would only get the egg tart.

在公司經常聽到同事話灣仔有一間好受歡迎的蛋撻鋪。反正在修頓附近踢波,於是去試下。去到真係好多人排隊,最少有30人排隊中。鋪內有好多鋪西式麵包,撻類選擇。第一次食我都係選擇返最傳統的蛋撻同朱古力曲奇餅。蛋撻舖頭外已經聞到超香蛋撻味。外表似葡撻,蛋槳上塗上一層焦糖。食落酥皮非常鬆脆,蛋味非常濃,加上焦糖微香加甜味,一試難忘,食完一隻又一隻朱古力曲奇餅朱古力味非常濃郁,還有好多朱古力clips,同現在曲奇聞聞地都40-50蚊來説,平靚好味兼備。
