📍 Island Gourmet📍 金鐘 • 太古廣場二座  • 港島香格里拉酒店5樓來到香格里拉酒店，享受一個寧靜的下午茶時段。總括而言，《Island Gourmet》面積雖然不大，但是座位舒適度挺高，適合坐下來享受咖啡、糕點；食物賣相不錯，味道就只是還好；服務因為購買蛋糕/甜點外帶的客人太多，所以人手不足，要等一會才有服務員招待，覺得可以進步～（不過應該只是因為剛巧很多客人啦）整天都沒有吃過東西，就試一下他們的下午茶套餐吧。Summer afternoon tea ($558/two persons)賣相挺不錯，看起來每件食物都好精緻。底層的是鹹點：| Smoked salmon with green asparagus on sourdough 煙三文魚配青蘆筍酸味麵包| Duck liver terrine with seasonal pear compote on brioche 鴨肝凍配梨子果醬法式麵包| Heirloon cherry tomato with buffalo mozzarella on focaccia 車里茄配水牛芝士意式麵包| Poached pra

想買禮物送比同事去左呢到睇下有咩岩比我發現到好野呢盒黑朱古力杏仁都唔平好似都要$114 如果無記錯但究竟個個同事都讚不絕口問邊到買 都算抵番哂味道唔太甜 加上好香濃朱古力一食難忘

We hadn't come visit Island Gourmet in so long. Today we passed by and couldn't help not coming for a piece of cake after our lunch! We decided to try something we hadn't tried before. This cake was one of the two. It seemed that there were much fewer types of cake than before. The pecan mousse was very smooth and not greasy at all. It went great with the reasonably crunchy puff, which wasn't too sweet despite the sugar icing on top. I love this combo of 2 different textures in 1 piece of cake!

吃到藏有小瓷偶的那一塊，你新一年會非常幸運國王派Galette des Rois是傳統法國新年甜點，香港很少地方有售，而且只有一月才能買到。有位朋友特地在Island Gourmet訂了一個給我嚐鮮原味國王派是外層酥皮包著奶油餡，剛新鮮岀爐，拿回家一吃還很鬆脆內裡的奶油餡甜度適中，吃下去不會膩配上杯熱茶就完美了！國王派最特別是內藏一個小小的瓷偶，吃到藏有小瓷偶的那一塊，你新一年會非常幸運還可以戴上派面放著的紙王冠可以買一個回家共賀新年

Based on suggestions , we had preordered a King’s cake (traditional recipe) and I have to say we were not disappointed.The crust was crispy and not too dry, the « frangipane » had a rich taste and the cake wasn’t too heavy. When on top of that, my son got the « fève » and became King, there’s hardly any complaints ! It isn’t cheap, as all King’s cake in Hong Kong, but I’d recommend it.

當日下午四點幾去到諗住買兩件蛋糕夜晚食，唔係剩返好多款揀，不過揀咗兩款都係自己鍾意食嘅。個朱古力cake好濃郁但係唔太甜，令一款係strawberry roll cake食落清新唔肥膩。我一次過食咗兩件，食完先減肥啦。順帶一提酒店送嘅朱古力都好好食。下次去可以堂食試吓佢哋tea set.

雑誌上介紹過的英式鬆餅有好幾間酒店餅店都是榜上有名。金鐘香格里拉的英式鬆餅我虎視眈眈己久，今天下午終於到來試下，聽講是排名榜上的頭一二位。一客英式鬆餅是兩件，可選提子鬆餅和原味。微熱的鬆餅，手感和囗感是鬆化，不是切下去即散開，又不是硬，質感好好。只是提子鬆餅的提子乾偏少。有忌廉和果醬伴吃。鬆餅好味，但咖啡有點失望。要了一杯cappuccino, 賣相不討好，味道中規中矩，價錢偏貴，可能茶款會比較合適。

How come so few people left comments for Island Gourmet? We dropped by to eat something for an evening tea and it was quite easy to get some seats even though it was Saturday.We ordered a scone set at a cost of $60+10% and the clotted cream and 2 jams (apricot + strawberry) were served to us shortly. 高層同事離職，估唔到佢好有心思又好大手筆地買左香格里拉高美食店既出口作散水餅。 花多眼亂下覺得雜果撻同香濃朱古力蛋糕最吸引，最後揀左較健康既雜果撻。面頭有士多啤梨、藍莓、菠蘿、蜜桃、奇異果等，全部新鮮清甜，值得一讚既係咁長途拎到返黎都冇走位，賣相滿分。 撻皮較厚同硬身，雖然冇加到朱古力內層都保持到鬆脆。內餡有別於一般西餅店既海綿蛋糕或忌廉，裡面竟然係焦糖燉蛋，好有心思。 雖然味道冇大驚喜，整體都幾有誠意，好味。

忙裡偷閒的下午，搵完個客簽文件，想抖抖梳乎下，突然就醒起Island Gourmet。曾經同家姐成日泥食，久違了既貼心服務同親切既態度，仲有佢既tea set。喺度想一提既就係佢地既scone，雖然唔係好常食(始終都怕肥)，但其實係好中意食。佢地既scone真係有質素，有quota的話真係可以自己一個食晒兩個。相信泥緊會多返啲泥偷閒
