 白菜仔豆腐斑骨湯:真係好足料,煲得好夠火口;湯中既魚味鮮甜香濃,完全唔腥;除左好感激湯碗內冇任何斑骨既痕跡外,最重要係飲完碗湯冇臉紅口乾既過敏反應,証明不含味精,低讚;真材實料推介一。

 香茅焗海中蝦:個蝦好乾身,唔油膩;蝦肉鮮甜爽口;蝦殼脆到小弟食埋落肚,hahaha... 搞到媽咪O哂嘴


 雲耳勝瓜斑球:怕魚骨既我,最啱食斑球;斑球唔油,肉味清甜;雲耳勝瓜都好爽脆。

 海參炆雞煲:每人一個熱辣辣既細煲上,但係完全冇油煙味跟埋黎
;煲內雞肉(黑肉白肉都有)非常嫩滑入味;海參爽滑厚嫩;無敵推介二。

 楊枝金露 + 雲呢拿雪糕
:好少食中色甜品既我食飯前已經喺餐牌睇到依個甜品。小弟見識少,真係未聽過楊枝金露可以溝雪糕
,其實個心真係有諗過會唔會食完肚瀉架... 不過大酒店寫得落餐牌應該冇事既。正如我當晚同uncle 講:"highlight of the evening!!!"。好難形容地咁好:因為有雪糕既甜味去中和本身酸酸地既楊枝金露,楊枝金露亦同時令雪糕冇咁甜,簡直係頂瓜瓜。返到屋企話比老豆聽,我地一家人而家食親楊枝金露都要加雪糕,所以大家一定要試下,楊枝賞月推介三。

有咁好既野食,重要有人請,有口福之餘,低到極!

手上的酒店卡還剩下數次未用在九月底便到期,於是便來吃餐晚飯.一向在JW California也吃得很滿意,但長輩突然想轉口味吃中菜(總覺得這裡的中菜並不難吃只是無特別之處),多間酒店的中菜也奪得米芝蓮星,唯獨這裡不見踪影,事必有因.入座後望著餐牌茫無頭緒,於是便向著厨師推介方向入手.兩款頭盤三味小菜湯飯各一,ニ人吃的話應已很豐富了吧!花膠螺頭燉雞湯----面層浮著一層黃油,看起來煲湯的碼料亦足,有下花膠但湯身不黏,螺頭的甜味並不特出,和喝普通雞湯分別不大.脆皮燒風鱔----基本上並沒特別的調味,薄薄的鱔片並不肥美,肉質彈性欠奉幸沒有泥味.燻蹄拼海蜇頭----燻蹄味道及質感均屬正常,但海蜇頭吃起來極淡調味不足,奇怪是在一口咬下有點"化水"現象,就像吃那些刨冰的爆爆珠效果般.南乳吊燒雞----又一厨師推介!外表怎看也不像半隻雞(賣相迎合外國人口味)雞皮不脆已變淋及皺成一團,肉質既乾且嚡近骨位置咸味濃郁.碟上的油漬可見厨功確是厲害!葡汁焗蟹蓋----可選用白汁或葡汁來焗,上檯用匙羹打開一個小洞時並沒有預期中的香味出現,麵包糠乾且硬身、內裡有磨菇、洋葱及不少蟹肉,但卻濕得像一個西式會飯的汁以的

花膠螺頭燉雞湯----面層浮著一層黃油,看起來煲湯的碼料亦足,有下花膠但湯身不黏,螺頭的甜味並不特出,和喝普通雞湯分別不大.
脆皮燒風鱔----基本上並沒特別的調味,薄薄的鱔片並不肥美,肉質彈性欠奉幸沒有泥味.
燻蹄拼海蜇頭----燻蹄味道及質感均屬正常,但海蜇頭吃起來極淡調味不足,奇怪是在一口咬下有點"化水"現象,就像吃那些刨冰的爆爆珠效果般.
南乳吊燒雞----又一厨師推介!外表怎看也不像半隻雞(賣相迎合外國人口味)雞皮不脆已變淋及皺成一團,肉質既乾且嚡近骨位置咸味濃郁.碟上的油漬可見厨功確是厲害!
葡汁焗蟹蓋----可選用白汁或葡汁來焗,上檯用匙羹打開一個小洞時並沒有預期中的香味出現,麵包糠乾且硬身、內裡有磨菇、洋葱及不少蟹肉,但卻濕得像一個西式會飯的汁以的,經厨師精心烹調後的蟹肉鮮味欠奉,浪費了大好食材.
蜜味蒜香骨----這欄的厨師推介本是士多啤梨骨但看見已沒興趣!改這個也不見得好了多少,這骨的肉質是鬆軟但埋了一個極黏的芡汁,黏得像糖漿!效果並不討好.
鮑汁雞粒撈飯----內有切粒的雞肉、冬菇、魷魚鬚及瑤柱絲,撈飯濕潤的質感近似軟身版的Risotto,完全吃不出鮑汁的味道,慶幸點菜時鵝掌炆鮑魚的念頭只是一閃即過.

點菜後不超過十分鐘頭盤未到湯已先上,未待湯喝完兩款頭盤又一起送上.小菜第一碟未吃過1/4第二碟又已上檯,吃至一半加單的炒飯又極速地出現.這餐飯在怱忙的一小時內完成!我們只是兩人在吃飯,這樣上菜的速度怎能接受?全場幾位經理也對空空如也的茶壺及茶杯視而不見.服務質素比普通酒樓更不濟.
好吃的話碟頭份量少不緊要,少吃多滋味嘛!但這普通不過的質素多吃也覺無益!每道菜的賣相也極為"原始"!明白拌碟這裝飾之物既吃不得下肚,因環保關係不用也應該讚賞.但至少食物擺放整齊一點也可以吧?
原價約$1300用VIP卡有50%折扣,即$650+$130的10%服務費共$780.如果付全費的話抵食一欄應是負分!

星期日出外晚飯是我和老公的例行工事,今次再到萬豪中菜廳,皆因老公是一名翅怪.星期日晚食客並不多,檯與檯相隔頗遠,坐得舒適.今晚點了紅燒蟹黃翅,湯底濃,翅足料,蟹肉海皇羹,味淡帶腥,難喝.燒風鱔,幾脆口但無驚喜,生炒骨,頗細碟,一般水準.上湯龍蝦伊麵底,上湯吾夠濃味,幸好蝦肉新鮮,一道失望的菜式.甜品杏仁茶太稀吾足料,糯米滋加老婆餅,一啖一口吾太甜.想食貴價中菜而又要坐得舒服,不仿考慮這間!

I was pretty excited to try this place...the place was nice, the interior and tableware were pretty, but that's about it. We went there only to be disappointed by the food.The dim sum selection for weekday lunch time was really limited, most items weren't available, and the items available were not better than most dim sum restaurants, some items were even worse.The deep fried taro in pastry wrap was really pretty to look at, but once you took a bite...all you tasted was oil. Very disappointing.

The deep fried taro in pastry wrap was really pretty to look at, but once you took a bite...all you tasted was oil. Very disappointing.

The har gaw and xiao long bao were nothing special, just a tiny wee bit better than most cheap dimsum joints, and the stir fried ee noodles with crab meat in soy sauce...we couldn't find the crab meat no matter how hard we tried :S

The only better item for the day was the grilled pork neck, which had the perfect balance of sweet savory sticky flavor and was juicy.

Other than that, the price does not really match the quality of food presented.

Only because I had received some spending vouchers to be used at JW Marriot did I go visit Man Ho... I have read from OpenRice.com before that the food here was only "so-so" and the service was poor - but only after this visit could I confirm that. Major complaints:1) Service was unresponsive and slow - had to get up and ask a waiter to assist us, while there was less than 50% occupancy at 7pm2) I had requested to enlarge my party to a party of 11, after originally booking 8. 2) I had requested to enlarge my party to a party of 11, after originally booking 8. They had denied my request, and I had to decline other family members wanting to attend the dinner party. About 5 hours before the dinner party's start - Man Ho called me and told me they now could accomodate a party of 11! What am I supposed to do - call up my family and tell them "Hey... I'm going to treat you like a second class citizen and now re-invite you to join my dinner party?"

3) There was HAIR in our dishes when brought out. A white dish of scallops came out with a hand grab full of hair! I would think that proper hygiene would be followed by their kitchen staff!

4) Over Priced, Small Selection - unless you are willing to be kept blind till the bill arrives and order "Market Price" seafood the entire night - your selection will be limited to a few pages only.

5) Poor attitude and manners from the hostess - What am I supposed to do, promise to spend $10K on dinner in order to get a smile on your face when I walk in?

。而這六款「精選點心」更是非常普通。最後兩人只點了四款點心,另加一個開胃菜。

檸汁香芒鴨甫($125)
– 這是廚師推介的開胃前菜。一送上桌,確是令人眼前一亮。燒鴨甫的褐紅色外皮跟芒果肉的鮮黃相間排列,賣相搶眼討好。燒鴨甫全是去骨淨肉,肉質嫩滑而不霉口;鴨皮更烤得帶點兒香,配合檸汁的酸甜和清甜的新鮮芒果肉,確實令人非常開胃。這是我和長者阿媽都比較欣賞的一道前菜。


筍尖鮮蝦餃($45)
– 外皮不算黏。筍尖不多但有少許湯汁在其中。蝦肉很多,但肉質結實得有點硬而鮮味欠奉。長者阿媽都同意,話佢有D實。普通。

瑤柱雞肉燒賣($45)
– 味道尚可,只能說是不過不失。

葡汁焗海鮮酥($45)(三只)
– 送來時雖不燙咀,但也算熱。外面的牛油酥皮焗得頗香,但味道偏甜,不大吃得出餡料有葡汁味;而且汁料調味有點偏鹹。雖然有點新意,但味道可以更好。

高湯魚翅灌湯餃($50)(一只)
– 餃子內的材料吃得出有點兒蟹肉絲和魚翅,但都是細細碎碎的,食不出味兒。這個高湯更只能算是稀稀的上湯,吃不出金華火腿的香味。連我都覺得美心的灌湯餃上湯重濃重好味過佢。長者阿媽對我的感想笑而不語。(可能是因為我說中了她所想的??)

吃著其間,看到長者阿媽好像沒有甚麼胃口,不住停箸小息。細問下,才知原來是環境不夠涼快,吃得不舒服
。萬豪殿位於萬豪酒店的地庫,樓頂非常高,但在炎炎夏日的中午來說,就會有點冷氣不足的情況,尤其在人多時和當每桌都燃起暖茶用的小火爐時,真是越吃越熱。都怪自己不夠細心,自己都在拭汗的時候卻沒有留意到怕熱的她原來是在忍受著;她不作投訴,是因為知道這是大酒店,出門見識,不應嫌棄。這就是我那又識大體又体貼別人的可愛長者阿媽了。要她山長水遠過海來吃頓舒服吃頓好的,卻怎料會如此。
有點心疼下,只好趕快吃罷,速速離開,帶她到商場歎冷氣。

真的,商場的冷氣還要舒服涼快。歎了一輪冷氣後,長者阿媽便完全relax
,更不經意地說了一句:「我朝朝去飲茶果間美心坐得好舒服,又夠冷氣….。」

看來,平日的萬豪殿實在不是吃點心之選。我這倘的美食之旅又失敗了。

星期日晚上去睇「男磨坊」之前去金鐘開飯,本來首選係JW California但朋友話想食中菜就去咗萬豪殿,一向都好怕2個人食中菜因為唔知叫乜好?見到有套餐就唔駛諗!每位680另加多两款小食.小食脆皮燒風鱔$138-----呢個好味!皮夠脆肉厚又滑,仲好小油!葱油貢菜海蜇頭$88----直情係油浸!條條貢菜夾起都滴油,仲好咸!套餐菜膽翅----味道不濃湯底清清地,翅的份量也很多.唔記得咩百合炒蝦球----又係油浸類!蝦球唔新鮮有雪味.又係唔記得個名----潦參,花膠,鮑魚各一小件,潦參同花膠有彈性唔會太淋,鮑魚亦都夠入味!蒸海班----完全唔惦!一出嚟已經見到蒸到皮開肉裂,一夾落去D肉散開一粒粒.X.O醬炒年糕----年糕夠軟身,味道不太咸,反而呢個又唔多油喎.魚湯浸芥菜胆----腥到飛起!同埋芥菜都仲好生吓,咬落去"啪啪"聲.甜品芒果雪葩楊枝金露----芒果雪葩味道好難食!試小小已經撈起放埋一邊,但個楊枝金露又好食喎!應該加咗少少橙汁落去,所以味道較為特別.唉!一樣好食加一樣唔好食....好有過山車Feel!

菜膽翅----味道不濃湯底清清地,翅的份量也很多.
唔記得咩百合炒蝦球----又係油浸類!蝦球唔新鮮有雪味.
又係唔記得個名----潦參,花膠,鮑魚各一小件,潦參同花膠有彈性唔會太淋,鮑魚亦都夠入味!
蒸海班----完全唔惦!一出嚟已經見到蒸到皮開肉裂,一夾落去D肉散開一粒粒.
X.O醬炒年糕----年糕夠軟身,味道不太咸,反而呢個又唔多油喎.
魚湯浸芥菜胆----腥到飛起!同埋芥菜都仲好生吓,咬落去"啪啪"聲.

芒果雪葩楊枝金露----芒果雪葩味道好難食!試小小已經撈起放埋一邊,
但個楊枝金露又好食喎!應該加咗少少橙汁落去,所以味道較為特別.

話晒酒店中菜廳,食物當然有水準,價錢當然要高些,咁就唔需要咁多間雜人嘈雜,保持高雅氣氛,因然友人有張酒店價員咭,可免一位價錢,約前兩個星期六,點心在星期六比較多些,同婆婆來試試,樓底比一般酒樓高,好有氣派,大大隻中國通花木窗,透着陽光,枱又夠濶,枱與枱之間有一定佢離,白滑磁器,厚厚枱布及餐巾,紅色梳化木椅,看上去已經是一種享受,講到食:帶子燒賣$46,好大隻帶子,$46,有相為証,新鮮魚雲,一般荵油餅,唔肥,OK南乳豬手$88,有7,8件,腍,唔濃味,但食唔到南乳味,但都OK推介芒果布甸,正,滑,香,芒果新鮮!埋單$200,已免一位。

20071118做得高級酒店,排場當然是有的,豪華而不落俗套。至於食物嘛,典型的婚宴菜色,不過不失,味道屬於中上。唯一要彈的是,侍應的服務水準完全體現不出五星級別,笑容欠奉,雞手鴨腳,浪費食物……令人大皺眉頭。

Went there for wedding dinner of a friend. Did spent thousands on the wedding coupons, so it was better to arrive early for more drinks. Heard people said the cake served was a little over-sweety but that just suit the taste of darling. The orangde juice served has bits with it but I was not sure they are freshly squeezed and not from concentrate.For the dish served, the prawns and fish were delicious and the abalone was served in whole piece and large in size. For the dish served, the prawns and fish were delicious and the abalone was served in whole piece and large in size. It would be better if the shark fin had had more ingredient with it.

The waiter were attentive, they would ask what dfrink you would like to be served. However, they mix red wine from different bottles when they did the refill.

Again, this is one of my family's favourite haunts.Atmosphere: pleasant. Hygenic overall - but maybe because it's a 5-star hotel. However, the decoration is monotonous.Service: Good - very good overall, but can be unsatisfactory at times.Price: Expensive! Maybe not really worth it for the food quality.Food: May seem magnificient to a tourist, but for a local, is not quite that great. 3.5 - 4* food.Overall advice: If you're not a tourist, go to another restaurant to eat Chinese food. 星期一至五點心會較少,只有約5-6 款,可能因為平時lunch 較多人請客,叫小菜食飯較多,但亦可問waiter 當天仲有甚麼點心,每款點心都好好味.周末會較多點心選擇.茶葉選擇很多,不只限壽眉,水仙,可選龍井等較貴的茶葉,環境舒適,服務殷勤.貼士係周末想去必要最少一天前訂位,另外有焗西米布丁,必食,出面酒樓已很難搵到,如果一至五去一定要係訂位時說明,因要特別做,六日則不需.
