Hong Kong is the land of street food. There are so many places that sell anything and everything. But one of the major staples is stuff on a stick. As I've never tried this and there wasn't a huge queue, boyfriend decided to get couple of sticks. He didn't like internal organs so we only got squid and Chinese red sausage.
Quite honestly, I don't know why there is such a huge queue here. I've had better. The squid was firm but it wasn't marinaded in any sort of flavor. I asked boyfriend if this was normal and he just said "dip into the sauce'. But the Chinese red sausage was not that good. I had better ones from those pre-packed ones found at Wellcome. They were a bit soft and didn't have the nice crunchy from the crispy skin of the sausage.
