Chinken hotpots are definitely one of the optimal choices in the chilling weather of autumn and winter.It is also very suitable for large group of people.Thats why I ate chicken hotpots frequently from friend gatherings to the families dinners in these day.Tonight,I go out to have supper with my families.Again,we went into a restaurant called ''Running chicken'' (米走雞)located in Nathan road,Prince Edward.It just take one min walk from the Prince Edward mtr station.''Running chicken'' specializes

The reason I choosing this restaurant among all these other hotpot restaurants is it ''signature cheese chicken hotpot''(黃金芝士雞煲)!!!
Good news for cheese lovers that customers can determine the amount of cheese adds into the chicken hotpot!!!
There are ultra amount of cheese ,medium,small amount of cheeses to choose from according to the preferences of customers.
We chose ultraaaaaaaa amount of cheese for half bird hotpot.
I was mouth watering when I saw those ultra amount of cheese on top of the chicken hotpot with shallots,chive,corianders...etc.
The portion of chicken is extremely hugeeeeeeeee.Many of chicken pieces are half-palm size!!!
Each piece is coated with rich,creamy melted cheese.The cheese chicken hotpots of this restaurant will definitely satisfied the greedy appetites of cheese lovers.
Apart from cheese chicken hotpot,I ordered the newly launched snack/side called ''the firebomb''(炸蛋)HKD$58.
The quality of the century egg is very high as its egg yolk is very buttery and big.
The strong tastes of century egg enhances the flavours of minced shrimp rather than overpowering the dish.
The mushed shrimp makes the whole ball bouncy and springy while the bread crumb adds crispiness to the ''bomb''.
After we finished the cheese chicken hotpot,we ordered extra ingredients for the hotpot.
It is one of the most delicious beefs that I have ever tasted as its fat is sooooooooo evenly distributed .
The grease just likes the snow flakes scattered on top of the beef.
The wagyu is soooooooooo delicated,tender.When you take a bite,the delicious greasy just exploses in your mouth!!!
We also ordered prime marbling beef cubes(特級雪花牛粒)HKD$138.
The fish maw(花膠) HKD$88 is my second favorite.
Its portion is hugeeee as it sells in such low price.
Mashed cuttlefish with crab black roe(黑蟹子墨魚滑)HKD$88 is also one of my favorites.
The mushed cuttlefish is just taste sooooooooo good which makes me want moreeeeeeee.
The prawns(虎蝦)(HKD$88/6pcs)are very fresh and the meat is extremely firm.
Moreover,the carol mussels (珊瑚蚌)HKD$88 are very value for money as the portion is quite big comparing to other eateries.
The oysters from american(美國桶蠔)HKD$148 are jumbo size which are fat and succulent.
There are shrimp dumplings,beef dumplings,leek dumplings and wontons.Each type of dumpling is given two pieces,eight pieces in total.
Everything of this restaurant is relatively large portion with quite affordable prices.
Especially the chicken hotpot which is hugeeeeeee.You will definitely full if you has small appetite.
The staff are smiley and helpful.
