一向喜歡海南雞飯的我,一直覺得在香港實在很難找到好吃的海南雞飯.知道世貿中心開了一間海南少爺,至趁lunch time便去試一試.中午1:00左右,門口有人等位,心想如果等得耐便下次再去,還好Recp姐姐話十分鐘有檯.一場黎到,等一等吧.在門口Recp姐姐讓我們看了一陣menu,很快便入去了.:走進店內,感受到很有中國feel,二幅分別以錦鯉和山水畫在左右牆壁,再掛上中國feel 的雀籠,果然配合海南少爺的名字.由於我們只有倆個人,所以只order了一個海南雞飯,和一個海鲜喇沙.海南雞飯- 雞肉很嫩,蠻有雞味的,喜歡它的雞皮,滑滑的,一點都不油.隨餐有一壺雞湯,比起那些像水的例湯,可見是有心思的.重點想讚一下那碗飯-“油飯”,好吃,真的很好吃,而且一點不覺得“漏”,我想他是用雞油煮的吧,很香!!!海鲜喇沙 – 比起出色的雞飯,這有點遜色,海鮮的材料有: 大蝦, 带子, 鱼等等.不過湯底很濃,好像有蝦的味道.HK$88的海南雞飯,(普通茶餐廳也賣HK$58吧)有如此水準,我真的很推薦.

”,好吃,真的很好吃,而且一點不覺得“漏”,我想他是用雞油煮的吧,很香!!!

海鲜喇沙 – 比起出色的雞飯,這有點遜色,海鮮的材料有: 大蝦, 带子, 鱼等等.不過湯底很濃,好像有蝦的味道.
HK$88的海南雞飯,(普通茶餐廳也賣HK$58吧)有如此水準,我真的很推薦.

我跟男朋友两个一起去lunch, 只有我跟男友两个, waiter 竟然可以忘了入我那份的单等了几十分钟,manager 才跟我说...气死我了...个waiter明明问了我们餐饮要什么... 怎么可能会入餐饮但不入整份餐?脑袋没带上班...不过男友吃的招牌海南鸡饭看起来还不错... 但收$88(excluding 10% service charge) 也不太值...

100 !~- 安排人入座有問題. 一邊接人客等位,另一邊又同等待緊的客人講就快 last order (2:30 pm). - 睇個menu, 得果幾個set 定左的選擇. 到order時, 仲要同你講有某幾樣賣曬. - 只好叫還有的海南雞飯. 接下來就又係等 ! 等好耐.....! 至少20 分鐘. - 20 分鐘之後. 第一個海南雞飯來啦. 但明明order 左 2 個同一樣的. 為什麼先來一個?! 所以... 另一個又係要等. - 至於食物方面, 雞吾好味,完全不明白為什麼值 $ 88. 飯仲衰 !!! 飯心硬的. 等左咁耐. d 飯都未熟 ! 個廚師是否要從頭開始學廚呢 ?! 最後, 真係覺得去呢間野係錯. 如果是適合駕駛人士的話,要預拍左車上到去要勁等. 等的理由是因為佢0地食物要等好耐, 同埋冇效率地安排入座. 如果想食完一肚氣就去啦 !

前日同左女友去左呢間店食晚飯,入到到去幾乎坐窗口位,但都望到維港景,都幾靚,d小二o既態度唔錯,自動解式d菜式,不錯.叫左個海南雞飯,一個肉骨茶,兩樣野都好好食,尤其係碗雞油飯,就咁食都可以,因為充滿雞味,d雞好滑而且好鮮,d醬油亦算正宗;肉骨茶o既藥才味偏濃,而且d排骨都幾淋,好入味,冬天食一定超爽,一人都係$90到,算ok啦.

在港要找個海南雞飯吃是沒有難度~何謂正宗?~何謂好吃?大家的定義也不同~實在無必要各持己見要用theory爭做勝利的一方~~~前排在星馬等地待上一個月的時間~~自已也算有點皮毛資格來評評這前Chatterbox大廚作顧問的少爺級海南雞飯是名氣?是實力?雖然店在近年甚具食力的WTC~但大家都知道這商場的食肆大都匿在小巷中~不算很搶眼~但始終紙包唔住火~以堪稱星洲首席海南雞的文華Chatterbox作招徠的海南少爺~小比在下午小休到訪時~店員已提醒最近grand o 都非常爆場~要walk-in的話建議六點就來~小比不信之~~結果回頭時已近七點~幸好也只等了十五分鐘左右~但督見店內的入座情況其實不如想像般爆滿~6:55pm入座的客人~交檯時間為8:15pm~七點入座的也是~七點三入座的~也是8:15pm要交檯~~小比就是這位只有六十分鐘進食的客人~~明顯是派位訂位的程序還未完全成熟~~要不就一律限定個半鐘for walk-in客~要不就為分段訂位~整整吃的60min過程~也有數檯是無人入座的~~這方面要好好改善一下不多說~食品的選擇除了打正招牌的海南雞飯和海鮮laksa~還離不開星馬等名小

~小比不信之~~結果回頭時已近七點~幸好也只等了十五分鐘左右~但督見店內的入座情況其實不如想像般爆滿~

6:55pm入座的客人~交檯時間為8:15pm~七點入座的也是~七點三入座的~也是8:15pm要交檯~~小比就是這位只有六十分鐘進食的客人
~~明顯是派位訂位的程序還未完全成熟~~要不就一律限定個半鐘for walk-in客~要不就為分段訂位~整整吃的60min過程~也有數檯是無人入座的~~這方面要好好改善一下

不多說~食品的選擇除了打正招牌的海南雞飯和海鮮laksa
~還離不開星馬等名小吃如Rojak~魔鬼魚~黑/白菜頭粿與玉骨茶等
~連特色的甜品莫莫查查~煎蕊等都有~woww~~但只有60min~要快選快吃~有點趕~~

招牌少爺海南雞飯[$88] : 以木盤定食形式送上~~清湯就在壺內~保溫程度高~要喝時才例在帶有蔥絲的闊口杯~~較為淡口~~雞的賣相很對版整整齊齊~要脾肉的話+$10~但個人覺得無啥必要
~~即使是雞胸肉也夠嫩滑~~始終兩地的貨源不同~在港只能用上冰鮮雞~~但經過醃製加上浸雞..降溫..浸雞..降溫..過冷河再晾雞的過程~~做得認真是吃得出的
~小比吃後第一句說~無論食材處理過程技巧和配料醬汁都非常純熟~這次真的是因為食材貨源不同而拖垮了一點點


雞飯的神髓在於香而不油卻粒粒飽滿~~~坊間多以雞油炒生米再煲成~這樣的飯也香但較膩~~~較講究的用雞湯煨過後再與香料蒸成
~香而不油層次較深~~這裡的飯雖然溝了不同的舊米~但在當地所吃的雞飯是粒粒分明而不膩~
但這裡的飯就如平時吃到的可以用筷子輕易夾起一撮帶點黏性的~爽帶甘香~兩者都好吃!至於靈魂之一的三色醬~黑醬油~辣醬和薑蓉都非常出色~!那種衝著味蕾的勁度是地道才做到的~!不嗜辣者請小心辣醬~~而薑蓉也混了老薑紫薑~刺激度十足~~
面頭附有皮蛋慕斯的蒸蛋就麻油量用得非常多~每吃一口都啖啖油~有種拿著即食麵麻油就咁食ge感覺~~免了免了!


Rojak [$58] : 新加坡與馬拉等地吃到的Rojak又會有少許變了格~但兩者都是好吃的~用料離不開沙葛~青瓜~蘋果~菠蘿~蓮霧~再加上油炸鬼~豆卜和少量通菜
~拌的是黝黑的Rojak醬~在當地~每家店都有自已的秘方的~而這裡相信都有經過自行調配吧~~除了主體甜蝦膏外~加入糖~辣椒~酸汁等~~


通常Rojak醬要是paste狀~稠度十足~可以說是一patpat就這樣撻在面頭
~是甜辣加起來會有嗆喉~濃得拿拿地就正確~但這裡就較為稀身一點~但無論味道和嗆喉程度也非常非常非常似在當地吃到的味道~!!絕對正宗~最有驚喜的不是醬汁~而是脆得差點整損上顎的油炸鬼同豆卜~~無得彈~!不怕濃的您必要一試!


參巴醬燒魔鬼魚[$78] : 在星馬吃的時候~都是約HKD 50已經有一隻碟那麼大幅~但現在這個價錢就只有三份一份量~~感覺當然不同
~~沒有辦法~這裡是香港~參巴醬屬特製的蝦乾辣醬~~辣度屬中上水平
~常入饌於馬拉菜式之中~~魔鬼魚燒過之後也能鎖起肉汁~吃起來夠嫩~而且骨很少~最後只留下一條比雞翼骨大少少ge魚骨only~~但以這個價錢~我下次會試一試海鮮Laksa或其他主菜罷了


想吃的菜頭粿是日沒有存貨了~而沙嗲和肉骨茶也不在心水之列~結果用上一小時吃三樣東西原來也有點趕~始終order等候也要一點時間吧~~這裡雖說開了2星期多~但很多野都有點生手~例如餐牌錯了又不貼label改~
寧願每次同客講~~waiter對客人的每句話彷佛都是埋檯前由經理拍拍背叫他們咁咁咁講~~所有野都depends on經理
~再者就是半開放式的廚房~~每有order入單~廚房內就會大聲喊出分工~但在出菜口不停叫喊其實客人是清楚聽到~~結果整餐飯都在有點嘈ge環境下吃
~~最後就當然是開初提到的入座安排

在小比的角度~會寧願多趁機票promo~比多幾百蚊飛到當地再吃過
~除了文華的chatterbox~~maxwell的天天海南雞~還有牛車水的珍姐等都是值得一試~~正如泰菜一樣~~姿整的未必不好吃~但街坊格的也可能找到個隱世高手

Heard about the opening of Hainan Shaoye in WTC from my local friends and thought i'd give it a try.

It's my first time writing a review on openrice and I'm doing so because I want to make a statement. I personally believe that Hainan Shaoye's Chicken Rice is simply the BEST I've had in Hong Kong. Kudos to the restaurant's effort and kudos to the kitchen staff who I was told were the main chefs behind Chatterbox which serves the best Chicken Rice in Singapore.

My thoughts on the food:

The Chicken Rice was made with just the right combination and amount of spices. It is NOT greasy at all but still wonderfully FRAGRANT. That is true Chatterbox style and that's what I have been eating since a baby in Singapore.


The Chicken Soup is filled with rich Chicken aroma and has evidently been boiled and reboiled for a long time. I asked whether they use msg and the answer is NO MSG USED, which means all the flavors are real and tangible, making the soup all the more impressive.


The three Chicken Rice Sauses - Really GOod!. The crown jewel. Almost always overlooked by people. The sauses at Hainan Shaoye are truly amazingly good. Black sause, served JUST with chicken rice, is just like how it is in Singapore. The ginger and chilli sauses are homemade and have been blended to create a silky texture to enhance the taste and experience. Extremely well done.


I will certainly be back for more and I will spread the word to my Singaporean friends here. Finally a LEGIT chicken rice restaurant in HK!

Finally, 有個好似manager的人過來問食物到齊未, 我便好心話佢聽D食物好淡. 佢話去試試. 之後返來佢話海南雞飯個湯真係淡左D. 但個喇沙係佢地店的風味, 無問題. 吓!!! 咁淡而無味都叫做風味呀!! 之後佢就話可能係個大廚煮米粉時未"fing"乾D水所以淡左D喎. 咁都得??


我見佢地新開先俾D意見, 但用$300食咁嘢水準, 真係好唔得. 我一定唔會再幫襯.

海鲜喇沙濃味十足,用料新鲜, 有大蝦, 带子, 鱼蛋, 等等。 喇沙汁有濃厚的蝦壳味, 店長説喇沙paste是自家炒的, 難怪這麽好食!!


食了豐富的一顿飯, 非常滿足。小弟一定会再訪!!

小時候媽媽間中會帶我去本地一間中檔次吃扒的餐廳,常叫的卻不是牛扒或豬扒,卻是海南雞飯。記得那帶黃油的雞飯有著濃濃的鹹香,從此我便愛上海南雞飯。去年第一次去新加坡3日就試了兩間本地薑,可惜感覺未如理想,到了第三日本想再繼續尋找舊日的味道無奈時間不足。今次知道此店老板重金禮聘請了文華酒店chatterbox的大廚過檔,確實機會難遇加上銅鑼灣這地點對我來說比較就腳,沒有理由再遲疑了。晚上7點左右來到,之前還怕公眾假期加上dinner rush又沒有訂位會等得久,哈,幸好一去到便有位。裝修比起一般街坊小店來得有心機,一大幅掛牆畫成了整間餐廳的中心,而且新店的關係一切整潔乾淨,不過紅加黃的顏色配搭就不是本人的口味感覺有點兒怪。最近天氣比較熱還是叫點梳打喝喝吧,我點了mint grapefruit soda男友則要杯lemon grass soda,兩杯都冰凍可口,所有材料包括薄荷葉、西柚和香茅都是新鮮的,飲落不太酸卻感覺開胃當餐前飲確實稱職,只略嫌有點貴。主食叫了海南雞飯(沒有轉肶,因為想試試雞的質素),一個海鮮喇沙,小吃就點了半打串燒 (有豬、牛、雞各兩串)。海鮮喇沙先到,材料的質素及數量普通

主食叫了海南雞飯(沒有轉肶,因為想試試雞的質素),一個海鮮喇沙,小吃就點了半打串燒 (有豬、牛、雞各兩串)。

海鮮喇沙先到,材料的質素及數量普通,有兩隻蝦、一粒帶子、數片魚片等,吃落沒有太大的海鮮湯味而且連椰子的味道亦不特出,有點失望啊。

接下來有海南雞飯,一盤上的感覺有點似日式定食。除了雞和飯之外另有一壺雞湯及有四款醬油附上,最有趣的一種帶灰綠色的沾醬細問之下才知道是用豆腐做底再加上皮蛋mousse做面。雞身嫩滑有雞味,吃得出不是一般的冰鮮雞,雞飯帶黃油而且可見乾蔥頭。心中暗喜,一吃之下有驚喜,有鹹香有蔥香,唔錯唔錯。


最後來的竟是小食半打串燒,可惜質素令人失望。不夠熱,不夠香口,肉的份量很少,調味可能不足,吃落淡淡的,來沾點沙嗲醬吧,味道還不足以令那串燒起死回生,花生味是有的不過就是感覺不對。


一整頓飯最使我有印象就是那雞飯,我會因為它以再次光顧,希望再試試其他出品例如rojak、魔鬼魚及燒雞等等。

最後一提,我吃了個多小時留意到來此店吃飯的都是「有點錢」的家庭或夫婦,可能是華僑吧,點菜的時候好像個南洋專家般,叫這叫那,唉,其他還不過是個海南雞飯吧。如果大家還是較喜歡隨意一點的地方,我想這個「少爺」會叫你吃不消的。

We were lucky to be able to get a "reservation" in the first place. Originally, we were just on the waiting list (called only about 1 and a half hours before we were there), however, we soon got a call that they had an available seating for us.

The menu didn't seem to have a lot of dishes to choose from (in my opinion), but I guess it might be because it just recently open. So we ordered the rojak (Indo salad), chicken, chicken rice, spicy fish, bak choi (vegetable of the day), and turnip cake.

The dishes came relatively quick, I'd say about 10-15 minutes for the first dish(es), then the following dishes came 5-10 minutes following each other. The turnip cake was actually quite different compared to that of the Cantonese style. Instead of being a whole white piece, the turnip cake looks as if they have been stirred fried with some XO sauce. The rojak was actually quite decent (compared to the one I tried in Malaysia), if I had to go into details, I would say that this one was more sweet. Basically, it has red and green apple slices, pieces of fried bread, jambu (lychee like texture, can't describe the taste), and pamelo all covered in prawn sauce. The bak choi have almost very little taste.

As for the chicken rice, it was actually very good, one of the best I've tasted in Hong Kong. And along with that, the chicken was good. It is a typical Cantonese style steam chicken. I never tried the spicy fish, but my parents said that it was quite spicy and too overwhelming that they couldn't give an exact comment on the the taste of the fish. We'll, at least they finished it, so I'm assuming that that suggests that the fish was good.

In the end, we ordered an Ice Kachang (one of my favorite Malay desserts), however it took longer than expected to come. I guess if everyone only eats a half a bowl of it, the size of it could easily feed 4 or 5 people. Anyways, what it is is a bowl filled with milk, sago, shaved ice, red beans, green beans? (not sure), corn, syrup (the one used for shaved ice), and pieces of candy? (again, it tasted like it, but I could not determine it). Ideally, I would have liked more shaved ice with some more syrup and no candy because the 'candy' made it quite sweet, and I felt that it needed more ice.

Overall, I can consider eating there again and at least the price isn't exactly sky rocketing.

We had both the white (yellow skin) and the golden (roasted skin) Hainan Chicken. The chicken meat is soft and tender and when taken together with the provided compliments ( three kinds of sauces -chili, ginger and dark soy , hot chicken soup, fresh vegetable and chicken rice ), they round up a delicious and satisfying meal. The chicken rice is one of the best we have come across: the rice is fragrant and appetizing without being oily or greasy. Indeed, this place serves the healthiest and most delicious Hainan chicken rice.
We also had refreshing Bak Kut Teh which is tender pork ribs cooked in herbs and spices as well as the spicy Fish Head Curry (go best with white rice) and the coconut flavored Seafood Laksa served with fresh pawns,scallop and vermicelli. They are authentic and delicious!

We read about the restaurant from a local newspaper that it was supposed to be a good restaurant for Hainanese chicken rice.We ordered 6 pcs of satay beef and chicken skewers and each of us had Hainanese chicken rice set as well.
