同朋友都好想去 "添好運" 試下, 又怕多人, 所以就去咗深水埗試下我地早上十點幾已經到, 一去到都唔駛等位就有位.服務員態度都 ok. 由於得 2 個人, 所以點咗唔係好多野食...古法糯米雞 - 幾好味. 不過就唔覺得有咩野特別好食黃沙豬潤腸 - 同普通腸粉冇分別. 只係用了"豬潤"酥皮焗叉燒包 - 呢個真係好好味. 而且個皮真係好脆瑩鮮虾餃 - 都 ok. 皮薄虾新鮮杞子桂花糕 - 禾覺得比較甜...

黃沙豬膶腸($15)-是款很特別、(對老公而言)又吸引的點心,可惜中間的豬膶蒸得超老好嚡口,拖累本來頗幼滑的腸粉,再加上點點怪異薑粒,又成了吃剩貨色。
 
煎腊味蘿蔔糕($10)-簡單得來蘿蔔比例夠高,味清新幾討好!
 
煎蛋牛肉飯($17)-老公大叫肚餓,才要的一客蒸飯,份量原來也真不少。一般餐廳用的都是窩蛋,添好運卻偏偏選用煎蛋,幸而煎蛋也做到半生熟的流心效果,另外厚厚的牛肉層原來是山竹牛肉,很合老公口味,加上軟熟卻分明的飯粒,老公吃得十分滿意。
 
香滑馬拉糕($10)-個人鍾愛的蓮蓉包、奶皇包一概久奉,幸而這裡的馬拉糕質素不錯,我尤其欣賞其質感鬆軟、甜味純正自然,不過吃時糕身頗易散開一籠都是。
 
這頓米芝蓮午餐埋單才$86,的確是便宜沒有話說,但講質素又未達預期水準,加上等位等上菜,這種魅力絕對是見識一次就夠。
 
最後給大家一個貼示:如不想等位以及有更好服務,可以幫襯新店二樓的貴賓廳,不過代價是每桌要吃滿$1000。為此店方又特推$40-$5X的尊貴點心,如黑松露奶凍龍蝦餃等,以及其他小菜,有興趣可致電餐廳留位!

Food: Pan fried radish (煎臘味籮白糕) baked roast pork bun (酥皮焗叉燒包) Dumpling (潮州粉果) Glutinous Rice wrapped in Lotus leaves (糯米雞) Roast pork Cheung fun (叉燒腸粉)
Taste: The list of the menu is the same. Not too many choices, they have kept it quite simplified. And kept it identitical to the first branch in Mongkok only to be fair. First came the Roast pork Cheung fun 叉燒腸粉. The waitress asked if youw anted soy sauce on it. The soy sauce was too salty. I found the Roast pork abit too fatty, every small piece is half fat meat, which I dont like, and it is rather not too healthy. the Cheung fun itself is rather thick. Thick and not as smooth as it should be. When i had this dish in MongKok the Cheung fun there was more smooth althought it was over thick too, but atleast it atsted hot and fresh, where athis branch, it is rather cold. The Dumpling 潮州粉果came second. By far the Dumpling 潮州粉果 is probably the worst I have eaten. You cant say it is disgusting but it wasnt tasty either. first lets talk about the appearance of it. It is smaller thn any other Dumpling 潮州粉果I have eaten. The skinw as not as thick or as chewy.It was pretty tasteless too, from what I know, it should taste strongly of Leek 韭菜 and Turnips 沙葛. But i couldnt taste alot of Leek 韭菜. There were many turnips, as there was rather big, thy should have chopped it up abit more smaller with more mince meat and Peanut 花生. I didnot even want to finish it off as it was so bad.every restaurant has their signature dish and here - 添好運點心專門店 Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists is the baked roast pork bun (酥皮焗叉燒包. First time we had it in MongKok branch a year ago, it was so deliciously it blew me away. It was definately worth queuing up for 2 hrs. But as I have read in magazines, this branch has been below their standards. . The baked roast pork bun (酥皮焗叉燒包 was not as hot as it should have been if it is freshly baked. one of the 3 had bursted and the roast pork from the inside was everywhere, not what I called Mitchelen star restaurant, Although it was still tasty, it was just not as good as the ones we have had in Mongkok. The top wasn't as crispy, isnt as hot, and it was abit too sweet. Glutinous Rice wrapped in Lotus leaves 糯米雞 was bigger than expected. It was the 4th dim sum that was bought to us. it looked evry delicious but as we started digging in, we found out it was cold. It wasnt frozen cold, but was cold as if it had been heated up a few hrs ago and have been left to cool down. We asked the waiter to change for us and he had agreed, also we asked for extra plate of the baked roast pork bun for takeaway to share with my family. the white radish 煎臘味籮白糕 looked quite nice, not too burnt. But after I try to pick up a slice with my chopsticks, you could see its flaws. It was too runny, so when I try pick it up witrh chopsticks it was real hard, it was falling into little piece, and hardly any chinese sausage or dry shrimps in it. i had to put lots of soy sauce on it as it was tasteless.
The baked roast pork bun (酥皮焗叉燒包) we took home later on the night to eat, was soggy. wasnt as nice, as we didnt have an oven to bake it into its crispy form again.
Environment This branch is definately alot bigger. Atleast 4 times its old size in MongKok. Although the tables are still tightly packed together and need to share tables, but atleast no need to queue up for hours n hours due to insufficient seating. Best thing was they have a waiting area outside the restuarant where there are seats for you to sit onw hile waiting. Not much fancy decoration or nice lighting, again, thy kept it to minimal.
Services: Not much service as they seemed abit unorganized. they dont seem to acknowledge you much. we were seated on a table of 6, sitting right in middle, the couple sitting right inside by the wall had a hard time getting their food, as we and the table next to us by the aisle have to keep passing their food to them. And we were all sharing a big jug of tea which was rather annoying. the waite rwho we complained to about the Glutinous Rice wrapped in Lotus leaves 糯米雞 being cold was rather polite at first, but after waiting 20mins for another fresh hot one to come, we decided to cancel it. But he acted rather annoyed.

OVERALL: I dont think i would ever come to this branch again. Yes it is bigger and the queuing up time is less (we queued for 5mins) but the food is way below average. i expected more from them even though i had expected thm to have dropped in standards. it is still very cheap, but i would rather queue up for good quality dim sum thn to go for bad dims um just because no need to queue. i hope thy improve on their dim sum n reach their standards again

much better than the mongkok location, in terms of comfort, space, and queue. more spacious, lots of seats, air-conditioned, and i don't have to wait long -- perhaps because i intentionally avoid the rush crowd and be there before 17:45 ^^i have the same opinion otherwise as the mongkok location; the food is great for its value, very fresh with good ingredients. no problems with service, as they leave the jug of tea on the table... very efficient.
