Tim Ho Wan owns the title of being the cheapest Michelin star restaurant in the world. It’s true… I ordered 8 dishes and paid 20 USD. You can’t ask for a better price than that. If you don’t mind the wait, it’s a great place to eat. Not just for tourists… The congee to me was the most memorable as I am not a fan of their signature dishes, such as the pineapple bun and vermicelli roll. It was not too thick and not to watery. Unlike other places in HK, the congee was also not doused with msg.

the har gao is always nice, fresh, plump prawns, thin smooth skin, but really crystal jade, imperial treasure etc in singapore does them just as well. 
somehow fun cheong is always better in singapore. the skin is always very smooth & the sauce matches perfectly.
this liver fun cheong is 1 of the 4 signature dishes, the 4⃣️大天王。my sis wasn’t much into char siew pao (even if it’s crispy skin), and carrot cake is not a special dish for me & i don’t really like 马拉糕。so this best for both of us! 
the steamed chicken feet 豆汁凤爪 is super. i liked this preparation with deep-fried chicken feet skin best. ^^
we also had the osmanthus jelly (i forgot to take photo). 
the price was just HK$100.
that was before we decided to order an extra HK$17 steamed pork ribs, as it went perfectly well with the rice. this one of the good standard steamed pork ribs.
so total was like S$20.50 for 2pax.
really shiok. 진짜맛있!^^

we were at timhowan at sham shui po at 3pm. there was a queue (this was good friday & we waited about 15mins).

both the liver & char siew fun cheong were very good, very smooth & the sauces was just great.
we loved the pork rib chicken feet rice. it was excellent! we had 2 orders to share among 4pax.
we also had the steamed pork ribs & chicken feet separately. they were both very good. the chicken feet was the usual deep-fried ones & very different from the abalones sauce ones we had the next day at lei gardens which cost more & not so nice.
we liked the hamshuigok 咸水饺 too. nice!
& we had 3 orders of har gau. these were very good, same as what we had in crystal jade, imperial treasure & canton paradise in singapore.
we had one later at lei gardens times square & it was quite below par, really not what we came to expect in HK.
price came to HK$302 (S$54) for 4pax, higher than the usual S$8 to S$10 here because we ate a lot.^^
it was a great makan first stop for us in HK.

今日放假,由於非常掛住佢個叉燒包,於是專登過去深水埗分店食,可能係下午3:30先去到,好好彩咁唔洗等位,我同我女朋友兩個人點左個叉燒包,賽旁蟹春卷,馬拉糕同埋豬潤腸粉,首先黎個春卷,好明顯係即叫即整,好好食,跟住係腸粉,個腸粉就無咩特別,之後就係個叉燒包,唔知點解我覺得好食過之後,個皮比起之前更脆,之後一定會再黎,重要係3點零啦,無咁多人ma!

我們是慕名而去的,第一次同BF週末去,等位等了半小時,點了蝦餃、粉果、鳳爪、豬潤腸、桂花糕還有酥皮叉燒包,覺得最驚喜就是叉燒包,外面的皮超級好吃,很酥軟,內陷也喜歡。桂花糕很漂亮,味道也很清甜,就是太冰了。但是別的就一般般,感覺還沒春滿園好吃~不知道怎麼被評為米芝蓮的,但是真的好便宜!第二次帶表弟他們元旦去,超級多人,等位等了1小時,又多試了春捲、叉燒腸、排骨、牛肉球、蘿蔔糕、牛肉飯跟肉餅飯等等,兩個飯還挺不錯的,肉餅很鮮很嫩滑,但是別的還是很一般,這裡只能算名氣大而已~
