Went to this dim sum restaurant the second time within a month.  It was not particularly good or bad last time, but this time is obviously bad, so the review title is an understatement.  I ordered the minced dried squid ("cheung yu") and pork steam rice, and "sin chuk" roll.  The rice came first, the minced pork has the "melt-in-your-mouth" texture because it is mostly fat and no meat or minced dried squid at all.  I could not find the minced dried squid or pork meat texture at all !  I ate one

Second time I went to this dim sum restaurant within a month.  Put it mildly, I'm a bit diappointed !  I ordered minced dried squid and pork steamed rice and steamed "sin chuk" roll.  the steam rice came first.  The texture of the minced pork is soft and kind of "melt-in-your" mouth because there was almost no meat at all, mostly fat !  Can't get the minced dried squid and pork meat texture at all in your mouth.  The "sin chuk" roll skin is soft, almost mushy, not almost, it is totally mushy !

這家分店已經不是我第一次去了,今年也去了好幾次.她出品的點心依然能保持水準.蝦餃,燒賣,叉燒包都是每次必點的美食之一.最好味當然是招牌的酥皮焗叉燒包.除了這些,我還點了粉果,蘿蔔糕,蝦肉釀豆腐.不過那個蘿蔔糕反而有點失色,不知道是否蒸煮的時間有些長.吃上來覺得很鬆散.如果結實多一點會比較好.最後就來了一個桂花糕和燕窩蛋白燉鮮奶.燕窩蛋白燉鮮奶帶點薑汁的味道,不知道其他人是不是也嘗到薑汁的味道.額外一提,我沒有在其他分店見到這個燕窩蛋白燉鮮奶,不知是否這分店才吃到.但在這分店就經常見到.總結而言,我對她的食物味道方面評價很高.衛生做得不錯,當職員見到地上有垃圾也立即清潔.對客人的服務也算可以,如果那些職員帶點笑容會更好.價錢方面也可以接受的,不算貴.

蝦餃,燒賣,叉燒包都是每次必點的美食之一.
最好味當然是招牌的酥皮焗叉燒包.

額外一提,我沒有在其他分店見到這個燕窩蛋白燉鮮奶,不知是否這分店才吃到.但在這分店就經常見到.

總結而言,我對她的食物味道方面評價很高.
衛生做得不錯,當職員見到地上有垃圾也立即清潔.
對客人的服務也算可以,如果那些職員帶點笑容會更好.
價錢方面也可以接受的,不算貴.

曾經有台灣的朋友問我,添好運是否很好食?因為在台北開了幾家分店,雖然價錢不便宜但排隊要試的人還不少。我自己真的沒有試過,不過既然有米芝連一星的話應該不會差到哪裡去吧。今天因為另一位在香港的外國朋友而來了這裡食點心。下午2 點多的非繁忙時候,也有不少人在排隊,可以想像如果是 lunch hour 的話,肯定是大排長龍了。 等了大概15 分鐘就可以進去了,但選擇真的不多,只是一張小小的點心紙。燒賣 - 不過不失,但值得一讚的是雖然餡料是豬肉,就未有太過油膩。蝦餃 - 餡料不錯,但外皮就不夠薄也不夠軟。吃起來口感不太好。叉燒包 - 這個是重點。一上菜是熱呼呼的,不同與平常在酒樓食的白白外皮,這裡的叉燒包有著金黃香脆的外層,一口咬過脆脆的外皮就會嚐到 juicy 的內餡。這一外脆內熱又juicy 的口感真的很有層次,令人一口接一口!Yummy!!! 炒麵 - 還好,沒有什麼驚喜就跟一般的粥麵店差不多。幸好麵是條條分明沒有粘在一起。桂花糕 - 這個是整餐最沒有誠意的一道。。。甜度不足,口感像大菜糕,嚐不到桂花的香或是甜。失望。。。

前我已經去過中環的分店,覺得相當不錯吃,今次我們去的是深水埗分店,樓高兩層,座位比較充裕。其實這裏有大概30款點心,但有幾款就賣到街知巷聞,今次我們的點心和我三年前吃的幾乎是一模一樣呢!「黃沙豬膶腸」腸粉皮是非常的薄,看起來晶瑩剔透,內裡餡料一目了然,質感亦是滑得無可挑剔。豉油略鹹,所以記得豉油要分開上,這才不會辜負如此靚的腸粉皮。「晶瑩鮮蝦餃」熱氣騰騰,看到賣相已很討好, size 一口一隻,皮薄晶瑩摺數夠,這才是王道。吃下去有爆汁的效果,蝦肉非常爽口,完全無夾雜肥豬肉,絕不油膩。「家鄉咸水角」咬下去是「確確聲」,似炸得鬆脆的煎堆。壓軸出場的當然有「酥皮焗叉燒包」,即點即焗,要等20mins:熱辣辣的酥皮像是帶點菠羅包的質感,吃落鬆軟,包身絕不黏牙;裡頭的蜜汁甜度剛好,叉燒餡料肉汁多,包底亦如煎過般香脆,水準仍非常高,能摘下米芝蓮一星,它居功至偉。

網上看食評見好多like,順路經過就試下,見門口咁多人等緊,以為要等好耐添,2個人即刻有位唔使等直入,但坐係通道位置,坐位非常擠迫,旁邊客人食完要起身離開,我們也要起身讓路,D阿姐經常推車仔行過碰撞到,一邊食一邊要留意。

We queued up for 45mins before being seated, in the beginning we weren't even assigned a number, the man told us to "WAIT IN LINE" When we were finally seated it took another 15mins for the waiter to address us because we were speaking English. The food was hot, their best dish was the dumplings, the pork bun was so so. Upon paying the bill , this women 4 eyed cashier made a racist remark saying " Stupid white people" luckily my friend knew cantonese, this was all because I gave her a 500 bill f

出左名既米芝蓮點心每次去開個頭都一定會去食既舖頭近幾年開左唔少分店所以都唔洗好似舊時咁等成個鐘位佢d點心唔貴但又好食先係我大愛既原因一坐低就叫左最出名既酥皮叉燒包 仲有我最愛既蝦餃燒賣同豬潤腸平時係普通酒樓我係唔會食叉燒包 但佢既酥皮實在係太特別太吸引 配埋個叉燒汁真係好正蝦餃燒賣係本身就鐘意食就自然覺得佢好食而個潤腸真係好滑 豬潤既味又好鮮下次多d人黎食真係想試哂點心紙既野食呀!

在一個悠閒的上午,我反常地起得特別早。 有傳添好運的點心又平又靚,躍躍欲試。一大早坐車來到太子,打算步行前往添好運,大約十分鐘之後終於發現在街邊的大招牌。早上8時15分已經顯得半滿,店內約有三、四個職員在工作。結果我悄悄走進去,十分鐘也沒有人發現。他們只有鐵壺裝著的香片,食具也是用塑膠的,非常地平民化。上菜非常快速,不到兩分鐘便送上了小巧的酥皮焗叉燒包。酥皮非常鬆化,似是剛出爐不久而已,裡面的叉燒醬不錯,叉燒也很易入口,帶點兒甘香。和平時酒樓吃的叉燒包比起來,這個比較香口,而且分量沒有那麼多,麵粉的部分少,叉燒能成為主角。輪到賽螃蟹春捲。這個春捲除了像賽螃蟹一樣用蛋白模仿蟹肉之外,亦加入了蝦肉,令其口感和味道更似海鮮,卻不會滿口是肉的太膩。春捲皮非常脆口,碟面未見油膩,可謂不錯的一道點心。能吃得出這個香煎蘿蔔糕是以新鮮的蘿蔔絲製成的,市面上已經相當少蘿蔔糕是有如此誠意的了。不過也許是因為蘿蔔不合時令的問題,顯得有點兒苦澀,加上吃的時候發現了頭髮絲,對這個點心的評分大大下降!晶瑩蝦餃的確晶瑩剔透,裏面的原塊蝦肉用豬肉包著,保留著肉汁。 作為一個精緻的點心,皮薄餡靚不可多得,外型亦討好!蝦

這個美味炆鮮竹卷可真有些驚喜。首先是鮮竹卷的外皮, 一入口是濃濃的豆味, 比市面上不少用醬汁喧賓奪主的鮮竹卷來得好味。裏面用了較為清淡的菜葉(忘記了)來代替濃味的芫茜又或是韭菜,吃下去很清新,別有一番風味。

添好運的內部環境是有點混亂, 但是食物可說是很有口碑,怪不得網上好評如潮而且殺到去台灣。 平民化的價錢加上好吃的食物,有其成功之處。
