有次經過有好多人等位,就外賣咗酥皮焗叉燒飽嚟食,食後覺得非常好味 ~ 今次突登搭車過嚟再食,由於唔想排太耐隊,所以選擇午膳時間之後嚟,下午2點到嚟到,最終等5分鐘到就可以入座 ~ 酥皮焗叉燒飽 ~ 熱辣辣,皮面脆脆,內裏有好多叉燒 ~ 超讚 鮮蝦燒賣皇 ~ 配搭杞子比較特別,幾好 豉汁蒸排骨 ~ 無乜特別 鮮竹卷 ~ 還可以 脆皮炸鮮奶 ~ 炸得脆,但比較甜 我地2個人食咗$122 ~ 每人都係$61 ~ 飲茶嚟講價錢尚算平 ~ 不過地方較迫,如2人就要坐2人枱,所以唔可以一次過叫太多嘢 ~

This year, I bought Tim Ho Wan's lo bak goh. They had other versions (including a new cheese flavored one) but I only wanted one thing. And that was lo bak goh..

Nicely packed in a sturdy cardboard box. There was no leakage when I brought it home.

It was vacuum packed in a reusable plastic box. Expiry dates were neatly labelled. Everything seemed hygenic. From first glance, it looked like there was  generous amount of dried shrimp.

Upon pan frying it (my favorite way of eating this), it held well. There was good amount of daikon to flour so it didn't fall apart. But not so much flour to overtake the daikon. There were still large strands of daikon along with dried shrimp, mushrooms and Chinese sausage. The sweet daikon taste came through and I couldn't stop eating.

Love my monkey? I got him at the Chinese New Year fair.

Though not quite as good as my mother's recipe, this was close enough. I ended up buying another box the next day. And that's who I spent this Chinese New Year. Pigging out on lo bak goh.

Came for brunch with my Australian friend as I heard there's good dim sum here. Arrived at noon and luckily there was no line, we went straight in. The environment is quite packed and we had to sit with strangers. We tried the famous baked BBQ pork bun, the top was flaky and buttery, similar taste to local pineapple bun. The inside had pieces of pork that was salty with a sweet bbq sauce. The pork was very tender and flavourful. Definitely recommend this dish.

We also ate the steamed beef balls, the beef tasted very fresh and soft, with a hint of herb smell coming from the mixed vegetables, a nice combination of flavours.

The steamed glutineous rice was alot bigger then expected. The layer of rice outside was thick and sticky and the ingredients inside was just pieces of chicken and one mushroom. The rice also didnt carry the lotus leaf smell which was suppose to be the signature of this dish. A bit disappointed with this.

Overall a nice experience. Even though the menu has a limited selection, I would still visit with my friends again just to taste the roast pork buns.

今日未知添好運開市未,一於黎碰一下運氣。今次黎係早一陣子食個叉燒包未夠喉,今晚黎專攻食的。今夜黎見到新年後加左價,全部點心加左一蚊雞,茶位就一樣,都係兩蚊姐。咬開鬆脆薄皮叉燒包,係丰盈好濃郁既叉燒醬,肥瘦參半既叉燒塊,十分滋味吸引,真係只此一家,第度都無,如願了,首次叫兩籠,而且係一個人食曬六個,夠曬滿足夠皮了吧,所以短期內不會再來了,已經止到癮。蝦餃是傳統的大小,細細粒的,雖然不是啖啖肉,好滿意嗰種,但能做到皮涵靚也不錯,索價廿七,就有丁點跑。粉果件頭也不大,一籠三件,皮做到帶點煙un,入面的花生同“割”等亦幾爽囗,感覺較清。好久未嚐的糯米雞,不能跟連鎖那邊的大個相題並論,但勝在雞肉啖啖,已全去皮,選了夠精,冬菇夠香,而飯呢?!做得軟糯無比,老人家小朋友都可以吃,不費牙力,也不俗。

最近去了其他地方吃焗叉燒包,雖然別處的包跟這叮噹碼頭,外脆內軟,好有層次的享受。而這兒的內涵就好好好多喇,真材實料,有蜜汁香,又有叉燒,沒偷工,沒減料,而且叉燒選用了瘦叉,沒吃到滿口肥膏,再者,做得相當入味,真出色!

一直來都知道,添好運我認為點心水平中上,真正只有叉包讚,令一個從不吃叉包的我愛上這款焗叉燒包,實在是引得我想明天又來呀,要不是細佬控制我,今天我是想叫兩籠來吃,自己吃夠五個嫁,好!下次,我一定咁做!

難得有來咗深水埗揾朋友,下午茶時間,所以就一起去咗附近嘅添好運點心專門店。雖然話系下午茶,點咗個桂花糕來填下個肚先,桂花糕味道比較清淡,入邊嘅香氣都好好聞,桂花糕入口之後都覺得好有料,食起身嘅時候口感豐富多層,顏色透明、黃黃地,我一下就食咗幾塊,好好味。糯米雞真系我食過最正宗嘅一間喇,表面嘅糯米都好入味,糯米口感好黏,好特別。糯米雞入邊料好多,雞肉雖然稍微鹹了一點,但系肉質好鮮嫩,唔似一般嘅糯米雞。添好運嘅糯米雞越食入裡面就好味。燒賣都一般,口感唔會話好好,而且有小小覺得味道太淡。價錢就比較平,招呼都到位喇。

好耐無食添好運,終於搵到機會同男朋友仔去食。由深水步行去要15分鐘,星期日的晚上七點多到也不用排隊。進到裡面,舖面裝修普通,餐具也沒有一般茶樓的韻味。內裡約有一半是遊客,我想大多是冒"車軚人"之名而來。首先到嘅係必食叉燒包落單不夠三分鐘就上枱,但包都仲係熱嘅因為肚餓關係,點了些飽肚點心我男朋友很喜歡吃腸粉,這家有樣特別的潤腸。其他酒家較少提供,第一次食的時候被它深深吸引,但這次有點失望。其他點心方面,與外面酒樓差不多。對於兩個人,這樣叫份量有點多。最推薦的是酥皮叉燒包,其次是坊間少有的豬潤腸粉。其他點心我認為去其他酒樓吃好了。
