Visited their Central branch without huge impression, walking passed with a crave of steak, me and my friend decided to give it a shot once again.

Staff were friendly, nicely greet us. Efficiently arranging seats and introducing their menu and their today's special/seasonal dish. It was funny that the staff asked to ignore the snack item on the menu instead of telling us unavailable. His way of expression was laughable.

We decided to try their today's special, Black Jack steak (something similar, apologise for not remembering) and their usda prime 390-day grain fed flat iron in medium rare. Knowing their soup of the day is pumpkin cream, we decided to add it.

First came the crab meat quinoa salad and the pumpkin cream soup. Crab meat quinoa salad was a simple small mixed salad with few cherry tomatoes. Appreciated not much salad dressing has been added but tasted just right. A small ball size crab meat with a dollop of quinoa. Pumpkin cream soup was serving hot. Silky and creamy, only few bites were little lumpy. Nicely topped with parsley.

Fries were free for refill. Freshly made. And here came the star, the cracked black pepper! I cracked some black peppers for extra flavour. Surprisingly, they used quality black pepper which instantly brought the classic fries to another level. Please do give it a crack!

Black Jack steak was fancily topped with saffron. Couldn't taste much saffron. But what a fancy garnish. Steak was as what the staff described, medium well. Soft and flavourful. Could tell the quality of steak was not bad. Hint of smokiness plus a little bit of spice.

The usda prime 390-day grain fed flat iron was alright. Unsure if the steak was supposedly to be served with sauce or it's not rest enough that it's a bit wet. If flakey salt and black peppers sprinkled, it will definitely give extra savouriness. Mesh potato was lumpy and kind of cold. We gave it up after one bite. Overall, I believe it's not their best.

Staff gave the impression of rushing to collect our plates or food when we had not even finished. They even asked for just stack the sides on our own main plate so that they could take the plate. It was odd and rush.

Seating was pretty close between tables. I don't think it's a cozy place for slow eater but economically, free fries with steak in this price, I will not complain.
