Trying out 老厝邊, an affordable, conveniently located Taiwanese restaurant that offers an array of Taiwanese dishes to satisfy all your cravings without having to hop on a flight! 🇹🇼 Pic 1️⃣: 香蔥油嫩雞乾拌麵 - $46 hkd 🐓 — Really satisfying bowl of noodles! The scallion oil was really fragrant and chicken was tender. The noodles could've been chewier but flavours were great. — The egg crepe was thin and filled with an abundance of cheese and corn which was super stretchy and flavourful. Great way to start off!

— Would totally recommend ordering this if you’re a fan of 滷肉飯 as it’s one of the best I’ve had recently! Don’t be fooled by the price, but the portion size was huge and will definitely fill you up!
Pic 4️⃣: 塔香鹽酥雞 - $39 hkd 🐔
— So good! These bite-size popcorn chicken chunks were perfectly deep fried and so crispy on the outside whilst the chicken was still really tender and juicy on the inside. They were really well seasoned with a savoury and peppery kick to it.
Pic 5️⃣: 珍珠鐵觀音奶茶 - $25 hkd🧋
— The tieguanyin base was fragrant with a strong tea aroma. The pearls were chewy and perfectly sweetened too. Glad that the drink wasn’t too sweet either.
Pic 6️⃣: 燙青菜 - $24 hkd 🥬
— Veggies were fresh and well flavoured from the braised meat sauce.
