一見到我個名叫甜心, 睇就知道我係甜品怪! 無甜不歡! 一直都想試Sevva, 皆因環境吸引, 雖然不設訂位服務, 下午茶 walk in 亦無需要等位, waiters 已經好快帶我同朋友埋位. (可能全世界人一窩蜂去Ritz-Carlton吧?! ) 如果你提出要坐out doors, 他都可以給你安排。以為它只是sell 靚景, 沒有抱住 "好食" 的心態! 一吃之下, 卻帶出驚喜! 頂層吉列豬排 - 外層都幾脆, 又juicy! 正! 反而我order 的 Earl Grey 非常香濃, 值得一試!

食物種類豐富, 2個女仔食其實都幾夠飽! 加埋咖啡飲品, 當堂飽晒!!

溫馨小貼士: 雖然是25樓, 晚上坐出面還好, 在夏天日間時間絕對不建設坐出面, 就算你不怕熱之人, 但恐怕食物尤其cream cake, 被曬得變mousse 吧, 有影響食物質素喔!

咸點中我最喜歡蔥香濃郁的脆片,烘烤得薄脆又帶點焦香,十分開胃;五穀麵包塗抹上牛油也很美味,包身有韌勁,牛油香醇美味,溫度也拿捏得當,而甜飽點中最好吃的非朱古力muffin莫屬,鬆軟香甜,牛油味適中,內裡還有很多半融的朱古力粒

本來想試餐廳新推出的lunch set,奈何週六日不提供,就散點幾樣signature share吃吧

Truffled scrambled eggs on toasted poilane
上一次吃到黑松露滑蛋還是在Mirror,這裡明顯技高一籌,黑松露那股幽香完美的滲入蛋中,每一口都吃到濃濃的黑松露味,而滑蛋的處理也無可挑剔,蛋身嫩滑不出水,混合牛油香亦不覺得膩。要挑毛病的話,恐怕是seasoning淡了少許,幸而配上微帶鹹味的toasted poilane後,這個小缺點也被完美的掩蓋住了

Ms. B's chopped salad
以Ms. B來命名,相信也算是招牌沙律了吧。用料尤為豐富,有BBQ烤雞、法式火腿、Boncconicini & parmasen cheese、紅菜頭、生菜、番茄等,BBQ烤雞雖是雞胸肉,但肉質嫩滑噴香,法式火腿則肉味更濃、咸度也偏高;水牛芝士素來與甜美多汁的意大利番茄仔是絕配,而硬身的parmasen則添加了一份咸香與嚼頭。最有意思的是這沙律內竟還有一隻茶葉蛋,且不說這組合是不是夾,但這茶葉蛋茶香甘醇,咸中微苦,頗有家鄉早餐舖出品的風味

這裡的奶茶雪糕頗有英國風味,甘中帶甜,初入口品到的是濃濃的奶香,而茶的清香則徐徐帶出,很值得含在口中回味幾秒。這裡的焦糖脆脆也較得我意,焦糖味香甜不苦,其中又滲透了濃濃的奶香,雖則質感脆身,我卻更喜歡將其含在口中與雪糕融合在一起。薑味蛋糕則處理得一般,薑本身的味道並不突出,反倒是吃出了很濃的肉桂粉味,而蛋糕質感也偏乾身,齋吃實在沒什麼吸引力,反倒是剁碎了與雪糕融合在一起更美味,一來解決了乾身的問題,二來也薑與肉桂的香味也得到了平衡

本少爺久聞中環「Sevva」的大名,聽聞蛋糕 500g 要賣$500,裝修格局亦很型格,很想去見識一下。上週與友伴在「Sevva」享受了一頓「英式下午茶」。這裡下午茶由 2:30pm 至5:30pm,兩人份量收 $460 + 10% 連兩款茶類,不設定位,侍應在電話的服務態度亦非常麻麻,巴閉非常。 Anyway。。。到達場內裝修感覺開揚,有室內有戶外,輕鬆抒情樂韻,滿場細語人聲,總算是寫意的環境。「下午茶」上桌時,賣相壯觀,有15款食物,倆口子撐枱腳剛剛好。最下層有:「Crunch cake」 - 看 Openeice 知道這是「Sevva」的名物,吃後倒是覺得水準比想像中一般。忌廉不夠滑,餅底太厚,美心的「天使蛋糕」還更好吃。「甘荀蛋糕」 - 本人其實不太欣賞這類蛋糕,乾爭爭。。。但同行友人卻說好吃,這是否男性與女性的分別 ?! 底層另外還有「熱情果撻」及「朱古力士多啤梨」等。中層主要是些鹹點,較合本少爺胃口。「三文魚鬆餅」 - 魚與餅之間的是 sour cream,鬆餅局得內軟外脆,好吃。「迷你漢堡」 - 內有牛肉、蕃茄、生菜等,還算不錯。中層另外有「火腿三文治」, 這個就沒啥特別

「三文魚鬆餅」 - 魚與餅之間的是 sour cream,鬆餅局得內軟外脆,好吃。

「迷你漢堡」 - 內有牛肉、蕃茄、生菜等,還算不錯。中層另外有「火腿三文治」, 這個就沒啥特別喇。

最頂層則是些鹹甜點心,有「炸春卷」、「蘋果沙律」、「蟹籽撻」、「暖蘋果批」等。吃點心沒有酒似乎不夠像樣;本少爺另點了一杯「Grapefruit Vodka」,盛惠 $135。

總括來說,整頓下午茶可以滿足人貪吃的慾望,熱情豪邁與溫柔細緻之間,不用選擇,兩者兼得。但以這樣的價錢,食物質素只算 okay,服務態度亦非常 cool 及串,選擇「Four Seasons The Lounge」或「文華」去 high tea 會是更好的選擇。

偶爾奢侈一下到Sevva來會一會瑪麗皇后。夏日午後熱力不減,但露天的位置早已滿座。全部員工也很親切,跟前面一些評中談到的大不同。女侍者先是給我一份下午茶tea set的menu,目標明確的問她要了cake menu。上面列了多款蛋糕,雖然吸引,但吃過了Amanda的出品後實在吃不下太多,便不多想的只要了個Marie Antoinette's Crave。親切的女侍應對我說瑪麗皇后不過就是好看,推介店方為慶祝三週年而推出的Le Louis—亦即路易十六,指它更為好吃。優柔寡斷的輕易被說服了,可惜是日Le Louis缺貨,繞了個圈還是要了瑪麗皇后。

Menu上說要等上25分鐘,沒看時間,心裡數算著該等了好幾個25分鐘。姍姍來遲的Marie Antoinette's Crave艷光四射,奪目非常。一大團粉紅色的綿花糖在上,外頭鋪滿了五顏六色的Macaron,還有許多閃閃的糖珠點綴著,一圈玫瑰朱古力花瓣圍在碟邊,光看已值回票價,羨煞旁人。拿起早端了上來的刀叉,完全不知從何入手。幸好侍應熱心上來幫忙,先把它那綿花糖取下,露出在中央作支柱的朱古力條。看著皇后被斷首,我還忍不住「噢」了一聲。

狠下心的把她切開,一層層厚忌廉夾著了青綠的開心果味戚風蛋糕,中間的那層忌廉更是混有覆盆子。忌廉軟滑,乳味香濃。鬆軟蛋糕入口散發出果仁香,一點也不刺鼻,溫和的很容易接受,不過不喜歡果仁的就未必會欣賞這種香味。大大顆的覆盆子酸酸的中和了忌廉和蛋糕的濃甜,是很不錯的吃。Macaron杏味挺突出的,是比較厚身的那種。糖珠跟預期的一樣好看不好吃,硬硬的很難咬。濃甜玫瑰朱古力花瓣很香很可口。最討好還是綿花糖,士多啤梨口味融在口裡,真的令人彷如回到了那小時候的夢。但忌廉實在太多,依厚度看比蛋糕的份量還要多,有點喧賓奪主。友人吃了1/4件便喊飽,由我獨個完成剩下的3/4。再好吃還是太膩滯了,縱愛甜還是剩下了一大堆忌廉在碟上。

整個蛋糕的材料都很優質,雖配搭在一起未稱得上很好吃,卻很令人高興、喜歡。路易十六那款是換上了藍色綿花糖,以長條綿花糖圍邊,裡面的蛋糕變為朱古力口味,中間混有黑莓藍莓,價錢比皇后高出四十元,有幸再來可能會試一下吧!

在一片瀰漫著甜絲絲的空氣中,與高貴優雅的瑪麗皇后約會,如此簡單,就是我的夢我的世界。很想知道你會鼓起勇氣跨進來,還是繼續看著我,在那片湛藍的天空下,與紅粉粉的綿花糖和忌廉起舞?

老公話知道呢度有間好嘢,故上來試下!現在才知原來呢度係出名蛋糕已太遲! 上到來就見到個蛋糕櫃,不過心裏只想着吃dinner,竟無理會!我們坐的地方看到出面個balcony d tables. Menu打開,果然不便宜,我們照常叫沙津,鵝肝,主菜等,老公食得好開心! 沙津:份量少, 菜新鮮但汁淡味, 非常清!鵝肝:幾好味,亦是份量細.主菜:忘了味道Apple crumble: 好正! 熱騰騰! I know that Sevva is quite known for their poor attitude and service, even with phone calls!
I was prepared to be unsatisfied with any member of staff I come in contact with during the whole process of ordering the cake.

We went up to their place to order the cake an/;.d paid cash. As we wanted to collect the cake on a Sunday but they wouldn't open, we asked how it would keep overnight. The female staff simply said "OK 呱 ... 最好唔好 lor. If it doesn't taste good, it isn't our fault.“
I understand this is quite a standard answer and actually, was what I expected to be the case. In fact, I'm sure that is the case with any type of cake but what I didn't expect was this type of unprofessional, vague and shallow answer. Moreover, we noticed that she would look at some arriving guests up and down when they weren't dressed as nicely.
Expected, but still disappointing.

In terms of the cake, Bouquet, itself - the presentation was beautiful, as I expected
. However, the photo I saw of the cake looked taller than it actually was. Nonetheless, the gumpaste flowers on top were beautifully made. Loved the colours. The taste of the cake itself - note that it was left overnight - was not so great. They said that this cake (on their website) was supposed to be "Delicate Lychee & Rosewater Mousse with Vanilla Chiffon Sponge and Handmade Pastel Sugar." What I noticed first was that their buttercream was slightly minty. Not a big fan of mint, it was very strong for me and wasn't that nice paired with the other flavours of this cake. It tasted artificial and just not right. The texture of the buttercream was also not very soft (maybe due to the time between making and eating). However, the cake itself was soft and airy, nice as chiffon should be. What I like about their cake (same with Marie Antoinette's Grave) is that they put actual fruit pieces in there. In this one, it was lychees.

Overall, I feel that this restaurant has a lot of potential in terms of their deco, style, presentation, atmosphere, view and possibly food. It is unfortunate that they cannot properly train or motivate their staff's hospitality to please their guests. I honestly doubt that they are unaware of their poor level of service: simply logging onto their openrice page shows MANY unhappy posts related to their staff's attitude. Is it their choice to keep their level of service in order to differentiate themselves (hope not)? Are they proud of it? If not, I'm sure if they try to make some changes, tthis place will be much better than what it is at the moment.

As I named the post, Pretty on the outside, not so inside! This is the case for both the cake and the restaurant itself.

Like: I prefer Marie Antoinette's Grave, but their cakes' presentation also deserve a thumbs up.
Dislike: SERVICE AND ATTTUDE.

After stepping out of the elevator, I could already see the "black" face of the receptionist. I walked up to her and said "table for 2 please" and she responded saying they were completely full. So I asked if the balcony area was full as well, and she responded impatiently "Yes."
I thought the receptionist would of offered us some seats so we could wait outside for a table, but when I realized she had no intention of letting us wait, I asked "so can we wait here?". She simply told us "we don't know when we can give you a table because we're very full." Obviously, she didn't answer my question nor did she give me a solution. So I continued asking "Can I leave you my number and when there's a table, can you give me a call and I"ll come right back up?" and she said "No. We don't do that."
I ended up not being able to try out the restaurant. But just from speaking to the receptionist for about 5 minutes, it doesn't matter anymore how good the food is or how nice the environment is because the kind of service provided and the bad attitude we have to put up with isn't worth the wait anymore. They give us the feeling that they're too good for people that are there for the first time.

It's a nice place to have tea. I have ordered a tea set for two. ($520+10%) The sandwiches are pretty good, but the cakes are just ordinary. The carrot cake is way too sweet. Earl grey tea is not great but with several rounds of refill, there is still scent of tea. Waitresses need to be trained as it's impossible to see her drop the teapot lid on the floor when refilling tea for the customer.

Reception female woman atitude is very rude 好寸, Bad attitude! I suggest if they don't have a table available don't just threat new customer like stupid and put them on a bench, and the Air Condition blown directly on the table, and takes the customer two times request there to turn down. There charge so expensive for beef noodle but no taste! And the Fried Pork rice have burn taste, I didn't ask them to cancel and fully paid, I ask the waitress to tell the Chef to taste the Burn rice. Th

1) we were not given any menu until I asked for one
2) we were told that our table was reserved at 5:30, implying we must leave by then. This is absolutely fine as we planned to leave before 5:30 anyway. We just need some food to energize ourselves!.......but the menu given was not at all complete!!
(I've been there before and there should be another menu, I am very sure)
3) the fact that we only had little time left DOESNT mean we should be deprived of the right to choose from a complete menu! how unreasonable!
4) just as the clock struck 5, the tea set came finally. As well as the bill. LOL. what is this?! how improper! I understand another session was about to start and perhaps they wanted to have all the bills checked. but they should definitely reconsider the appropriateness of charging the customers when they just started to eat! Do you expect me to get my credit card out just as I am holding a fork on one hand and a knife on the other? kinda ridiculous.....

Overall, its food is quality as usual (quality is obligatory anyway), but I was pretty dissatisfied with the services provided.

This cake is my pre-birthday cake!!I've been longing for a birthday cake from SEVVA since I love their cakes so much!I've been deciding between the CARMEN:mint chocolate with freah creme and this - All Red Buttermilk Celebration CakeBut all people in my family including me are not a fan of mint chocolate....so I gave up the idea of having CARMEN even though I adore its gorgeous elegant designI finally got my eye on this CELEBRATION CAKE after doing some research. I've been deciding between the CARMEN:mint chocolate with freah creme and this - All Red Buttermilk Celebration Cake
But all people in my family including me are not a fan of mint chocolate....so I gave up the idea of having CARMEN even though I adore its gorgeous elegant design


I finally got my eye on this CELEBRATION CAKE after doing some research. The all red appearance scared me and I'm reluctant to try it at first, however, out of my curiosity, I made up my mind to try my first Red Birthday Cake!

SERVICE: My mom went to the shop and ordered it. Out of what I expected, my mom told me that the lady at the cake corner was nothing like the rude one on the phone or at the shop which I last visited. I HATE SEVVA's service, especially when you call them. Their attitude towards customers are irritating. Maybe they have finally realised it? Who knows...but that would be a good thing!
My mom said the lady was very helpful and willing to explain every detail about the cake. She asked how many of us are sharing it, and informed my mom that the 500g one would suit 6 - 8 persons. She also reminded her to eat it as soon as possible, so she could pick it up later. Good Service


PACKAGING: With my past experiences of SEVVA, their packaging would never disappoint you. The box holding the cake was long, and really big! It is much bigger than the cake itself. The box is made of fine cardboards brown in colour printed with pink laces on it. Ladylike, elegant, but not too extravegant or overwhelming. Love that the box can be reused since I'm an eco friendly person!


APPEARANCE: Its so cute! The 500g cake looks really cute and maybe because of the Jello inside, it "jumps" around when u move it. The cake is very easy to cut! The reddish colour with red crumbles over on the cake is like a toy cake I used to make with play dough when I was little. (Maybe thats a bit gross) The cherries and raspberries galore look divine on the red cake. I LOVE its appearance


TASTE: I'm quite worried about the taste as its color scared me. It is described as "ALL RED" Buttermilk Chiffon Sponge Cake with Cherry Jello, Fresh Cream and dribbled with Cherries and Raspberries Galore. I would decribe the taste as a typical chiffon sponge cake with more sweetness in it. However, it is not oversweet at all if you ate one to two big slices. Sweetness is just right. The cake is moist itself so it would not stuck in your throat like some chiffon cake does
The Creme is pinkish red in color with a hint of vanilla in it. The Cherry Jello is just typical jello, nothing special. But I'm not fond of the Jello-Cake combination nor do my family. The base of the cake is a Cheesecake like base, It isnt crumble-like but is more of like a tart. The base is not too good though, too dry and the butter taste doesnt come out as it should.
The cherries and the raspberries are very appealing. The raspberries are HUGE! I've never seen raspberries as big as these and they taste good! However, the cherries are like canned ones. Not even firm, like it had been drained in syrup all day to make it sluggish.

Overall, its a nice try but I doubt I will have this cake again. I think this is the kind of cake which you'll try and move on to try the others. Not because its not good, but not that good.

[b]PRICE: SEVVA is never cheap. And $500 for a 500g cake is expected for those who visit SEVVA. The price is on the stiff side but its always good to try something exciting and new for a celebration! Overall, I think the proce is reasonable.

I would go for the LEMON MERINGUE next time as it is my all time favourite. The CELEBRATION CAKE will be a sweet memory but i guess its taste will fade away some days later. You can find something better at this price

家姐知道我鍾意LEMON MERINGUE,

個包裝好靚

用錫紙裝住好衛生,Crunch有啲溶同大粒
我覺得Sevva Crunch Cake比美心天使蛋糕更勝一籌係佢恰似嘅忌廉同唔太甜嘅Crunch
今次水準高番

個CHIFFON CAKE唔鞋,但都係冇乜蛋味,加埋CREAM黎食就好好味

It was my second time dining at Sevva, in fact i had high expectations on the tea set.The food was the portion was kinda huge for 2 persons , but the taste was just average. Nevertheless the view at the balcony was excellent
