這是三成熟的牛,要另加$100。擺碟頗欠心思,簡單只有一塊牛扒一堆薯條和一碟gravy sauce,完全不像這間餐廳出品,少少失望

不過肉質有驚喜,切開粉嫩軟滑,每啖散發脂香,肉香四溢。每口都叫人回味,不錯

甜品質素不及預期。前面的朱古力甜到膩,份量十足但全是朱古力,沒有其他味道配合增添層次

Tres leches比較好吃,蛋糕底是軟綿的海綿蛋糕,不會太甜太膩,不過層次也是單調。




今晚的質素一般般,最impressed是配餐的紅酒!上菜速度慢,牛扒質素一般,還有多樣選擇都要另外加錢。評價普通,不知道平常的dinner set質素和restaurant week是否一樣,不過吃完這次restaurant week,我已無興趣再來吃

Many friends praised this restaurant for delicious steak but I found it just so so. To make things worse, as a steakhouse, it lacks a good knife! The knife is not sharp enough to slide the steak... seems it’s just for fruits-cutting.... That’s different from other steakhouses I tried during the Restaurant Week. Great food. Amazing service. Loved the decor and aroma and the service was wonderful. Friendly staff and good toilet. The moment they take 5 cows outs is a sight to remember. I will treasure this moment with the good vibes! Highly recommend

餐廳提供的香檳為Mumm Grand Cordon,小的彷彿見過這個名字,記憶中卻未有品嚐。一啖入口,感覺清淡,而且沒有很濃的酒精味,很易入口。

Gaucho之前菜林林總總,除了一客西瓜牛油果軟芝士沙拉與吞拿魚粒沙拉,其餘品種全屬麵包、角仔、批與比薩之重澱粉質類,味道雖是不錯,但只吃小食已把小的之肚子填得飽飽了。吞拿魚粒沙拉配以香草與牛油果醬,論食材為小的所喜,不過要是廚師能將之以酸醋青檸檸檬等提高其清新酸爽的氣色,而非是以重膩的牛油果入醬,那麼這道前菜便能為其餘濃厚的包餅提供舒緩調和的作用。現在則只有西瓜沙拉以作緩衝。

牛肉角仔、粟米格仔批、牛油果多士與小型比薩都饒有風味,只是澱粉質著實太多了,小的唯有沒品地在角仔的中間咬一口、將牛油果全部撥向前端只吃小半塊、並純粹挑出粟米粒醬品嚐。然而,除了前菜,其餐包竟屬滄海遺珠。那個球狀的餐包原來暗藏芝士,為小的至愛也!一啖咬之軟軟綿綿,並透出濃重的泛士鹹香,平日不好包的小的破格地讚不絕口。

以大半飽的肚子品嚐主食,阿根廷牛扒與牛肉他他跟艾雲交換分享。小的一向好喜歡牛肉他他,然而將之變為主食,正如艾雲分析,著實是太膩了!將太多的生牛肉一次過品嚐,感覺有點像茹毛飲血。而且廚師把食物製作得很乾,與地獄廚神在蘭桂芳的Bread Street相差不只一籌。或許是因份量太多,過於濕潤怕令食客更難征服。

至於艾雲的三成熟阿根廷肉眼扒則極具牛香,雖然牛扒出場絲毫不見血,該有五成以上的熟度,卻勝在仍夠細軟。既有口感,又見肉味。

Gaucho食物端的很重膩,全靠小的不斷點叫西柚汁以作消滯。換上全數南亞與菲律賓藉的侍應,添香檳挺勤快的,不過想點別的飲料則等了又等、珊珊來遲。

Had brunch recently and was expecting a Argentinian feast of ribs and flavour! Did not disappoint on the flavours...they did however have a poorly written menu with our server slightly rude and poor at communicating said menu. The brunch menu was a set menu with the option to choose - at different prices - alcoholic, non-alcoholic or drink free with appetisers, main + dessert.I was asked as soon as I sat down if I would like water, and without seeing this on the menu assumed it was tap or filter

I was asked as soon as I sat down if I would like water, and without seeing this on the menu assumed it was tap or filtered water. But no we were given distilled water - which is provided as an added extra ...but what irks me is that it was not on the menu (and there was no drinks menu). It would be nice to know what I am paying for!

After desert we were offered coffee and/or tea as an add on extra... Surprise! Surprise! Not on the menu!
Food was overall of good quality but I found it to be a disappointing experience with the lack of transparency from this establishment.

Would not go back!

Amazing steaks with crispy chips and fresh salad,the starters are free flow and try their cheese bread which is gluten free with home made fresh chimi churi 😋😋😋All table hosts were very attentive and receptionist also welcomed us in a warm manner.Managers are very professional.Amazing Argentinian restaurant showcased in modern sophisticated way.It's definitely value for money and worth it to visit.The location is also easily accessible there.

I had a day off today and decided to treat myself with a nice dinner before an evening concert at the City Hall, my friend recommended me this place for steaks (it was convenient to walk back to City Hall too) so this was where we went for the night. The restaurant is located at 5/F, you’ll have to take an escalator to 1/F (the one next to GAP) then change to take the lift to 5/F. I came first to get a table as a walk-in around 6:15pm. We got a table with the comfy sofa seats, it’s a great place for chitchats and catch up if you want a special/secret place less likely to be seen 😂😂😂

Since there’s a large variety of choices and we couldn’t be bothered to pick, we chose the sharing menu. It had a great selection of starters, different types of steaks and desserts for you to try out 😋

I loved every bit of it but we couldn’t finish all of them at the end; the portions were more than enough. I would say it’s great for more than 3 people in a group to try out. 👍🏻

My favourite steak was the fillet as it was lean and juicy. The rib-eye was my friend’s favourite because it had fats and veins. I’d usually go for medium-well steaks but the medium steaks we had tonight were totally fine for me. 🥩🍷 Sadly I was driving today so I had to skip wine and go for some sparkling water😂

For the starter, the seafood sampler really freshen up your stomach. I thought the empanadas were a quite filling. We were a bit full after the starters haha 😂 It was nice to try the different flavours of them, but would be great to leave some space for the main character of the night - steaks 🥩😎🥩

For the dessert, I only had a bit of each as I had to leave early to the concert. Would love to have another meal here preferably for a celebrating occasion 🎊🎉🎁🎈👍🏻

The service was attentive with a smile and not rush even for a busy Friday night.
Ok, we had to wait a bit for the dessert, but we were so full that we did not mind at all.
A great experience.
We will be back to try their brunch next time.

Gaucho offers good food...we celebrate my daughters birthday and it was awesome.Great service with the help of our table host Whani shes nice and friendly..we love the the ribeye and lomo and the wine as well.for sure we will give it a comeback.

Second Dinner in Gaucho.Great service received with good attention to the table. Even if the restaurant was full, we did not feel it.As we wanted to share between us the starters we ordered the  Seafood platter and  few empenadas  - go for beef and provolone. Second Dinner in Gaucho.

Great service received with good attention to the table. Even if the restaurant was full, we did not feel it.


As we wanted to share between us the starters we ordered the  Seafood platter and  few empenadas  - go for beef 
and provolone. They properly stuffed and you can feel that these are freshly made. The seafood platter was very good too especially the salmon with pomegranate.

When it comes to steak: we mainly had rib eye and sirloin. The rib eye and the sirloin were just succulent a cook perfectly. As for the thin cut fries, it s a must try with their chimichurri sauce. 
And don't forget the cheese bread it comes warm and is delicious. 

For the dessert: the rice pudding was our option to share between 2 of us when the 2 others tried Don Pedro (as sort of adult version of a milk shake with vanilla ice cream,whisky and hazelnuts.

Will come again for sure.

因為有著不能不寫的理由,也是遲遲未能動筆的原因,延至今天才整理好心情記錄差不多一年前的餐飲經驗;一年時間可長可短,或許景物依然不過人面全非.生命無常活在當下,既是老生常談也是至理名言.去年三月某週日跟一幫好友飯聚,選了位於中環LHT Tower的阿根廷式扒房Gaucho.來自英國倫敦,裝潢型格有緻,暗黑主調,人造皮革櫈背,琉璃金屬吊燈壁飾,在座客大多為都會型男索女.我們訂枱早,傍晚六時半到步,餐廳夜市剛開始,故此客人不多.大家先點了支阿根廷紅酒和礦泉水,再徐徐選餐,項目如下:頭盤Starters-Provolone & onion Empanada-Mozzarella, cheddar & oregano,胖胖的餃子狀饀餅,內有義大利Provolone,Mozzarella及Cheddar Cheese, 一些minced beef和碎洋蔥.餃皮烤得鬆脆,饀料豐富濕潤,朋友説是滿足飽肚.Snapper Ceviche-Grapefruit, grilled corn, jalapeño & wasabi,將生魚粒以辣椒青芥醃漬,混以紅洋蔥粟米粒和柚子肉,味道清新,有嚼感,滿載南美風情

主菜Mains-
Rib Eye Steak 200g- Piperade & dressed Rocket,我們大多同選肉眼扒,本人是medium rare,看見外表美麗的grill Mark和顏色,就知道熟度拿揑得準乘,切下去果然肉質粉嫰,味道濃郁;説來見笑,我少嚐阿根庭牛扒,向來以為肉味渺渺肉質粗疏,豈知食感不賴,可媲美美國prime grade質量.

Risotto Primavera-leek,courgettes,asparagus,chives,basil & mint,可惜朋友的risotto就煑得過熟糊了,類近小孩軟飯,不過她説程度仍可接受,我看是性格使然,怕麻煩免起事端.老實說味道寡淡,這個水平真的不能端上枱..

甜品desserts-
Gaucho Signature dish之一是Dulce de leche cheesecake- Italian meringue & hazelnuts,説是芝士蛋糕,更像是拖肥班尼,綿密口感跟豐沃甜勁都令我有點吃不消而沒能把整個吃完,也許南美傳統就是偏甜吧..

相較之下Banana Mess-Dulce de Leche, meringue, honeycomb & cream則輕怡多了,香蕉芬香獨特綿糯,跟香甜鬆脆的義式蛋白,和蜜芽蜂窩混在一起造成口感味道踫撞,效果鮮明.

是晚歡樂笑聲此起彼落,杯影晃動,刀叉鏗鏘,雖然食物並非樣樣令人印象深刻,不過暫忘煩憂良朋共聚,也是人生中美好時光,即使無以為継..是緣,未完..

I had 3 times dinner at Gaucho over the past 18 months.The first time was okay but nothing spectacular. The second time I brought a friend and steaklover from overseas and it was so good that he asked me to book there again when he visited HK last December. Sadly, the 3rd time was a big disappointment and except for the waitress everyone failed to deliver; The steaks were all over-cooked and my friends signature marinated tenderloin had the consistency of a shoe sole. I had 3 times dinner at Gaucho over the past 18 months.

The first time was okay but nothing spectacular.

The second time I brought a friend and steaklover from overseas and it was so good that he asked me to book there again when he visited HK last December.

Sadly, the 3rd time was a big disappointment and except for the waitress everyone failed to deliver;

The steaks were all over-cooked and my friends signature marinated tenderloin had the consistency of a shoe sole. We needed to return that steak.

The sommelier recommended us an alternative wine (Tannat Grape, HKD 900) since the one we actually wanted (Cabernet) was out of stock. It was the first time we had a red wine made out of the Tannat grape which was over-loaded with tannins to a point, where its no longer an enjoyment. It seemed the sommelier wanted to get rid of his over-stocked bad selling wines.
My friend was too shy to complain and and ordered another bottle without having finished even half of the first bottle he ordered. The sommelier didn't care and charged us for both bottles.

I have booked a table again for next week and wonder what they will serve me again this time. After all, I love Argentinean beef, just wished for more consistency from chef and supplier in Hong Kong.
