行完PMQ 無意經過這間特色店店子比較窄 但座位挺多等候時間短店員熱情有禮 主菜有羊架加上奶酪再以紅石榴為配色 份外清爽餐廳的cocktail 是必試之選特別是sweet pea顏色鮮豔 甜甜蜜蜜

不過,更令我念念不忘的是Baked Feta ($115)。上桌時仍在「啵啵」、「啵啵」的bubbling,軟滑的Feta芝士和蜜糖經過焦化,味道更具深度,後勁卻意外地蘊藏一抹香橙的甜味。

Rack of Lamb ($210) 夠羶夠濃,乳酪醬更進一步加強了羊肉的風味。石榴清新多汁,在濃厚的味道中refresh味蕾,惟東一顆西一顆的散落四周,沒有好好融合在整道菜中。

Bedu is now the second restaurant from Meraki Group that I have visited. Unfortunately, just like last time at Uma Nota, I was not particularly impressed. I have been seeing Bedu a lot on my social media feed, and as a fan of Middle Eastern food, I was excited to try. The decor at Bedu is cozy, sophisticated, and intimate - an ideal place for a date! Even though the restaurant was very busy, it wasn't overwhelmingly loud and I could still hear my friend who was sitting across me. 

On the other hand, the food was underwhelming. Everything was just OK, but missing that extra oomph. Maybe needs more seasoning? Or marinating? I don't know. You can definitely find better hummus elsewhere - again, don't get me wrong, the hummus wasn't bad, but we've had better. I guess the food here can be summed up as style over substance.

Overall, we had a decent time. We probably won't return, but we didn't regret giving this place a try. Special shout out to the staff for their wonderful service, and for giving us complimentary birthday shots! Cheers!

The BEST MEAL I’ve had recently! We’ve opted for the Chef’s Menu and everything’s so on point🤤 The Smoky Hummus is very creamy and as smooth as ice cream, while the Red Pepper Labneh is very appetising😋My favourite is definitely the Garlic Prawns! I rarely eat prawns but I could eat 3 of them = they are really good!🦐💯Baked Feta Cheese with honey is the best but better finish it when it’s still hot. The Dark Chocolate Pudding is super gooey and tastes even better with the whipped Mascarpone!🍫Even

Recommend by one friend, it’s a great option to go. It is a cost restaurant and bar located in Central which is a good restaurant with vegan options, good gluten-free menus and tasty foods for everyone. Me and my boyfriend decided to have late lunch at the counter. A busy restaurant, modern decoration and clean. Food was great. Rack of Lamb is a must try. Digging into the hummus with light and fluffy flatbread is a good start. The charred broccoli with crispy kale is very delicious. Worth a try

超級推介既新派中東菜,抵食之餘環境同服務都好好,lunch set都係百零蚊就有交易,仲包埋野飲同甜品!.main叫左sweet potato falafel同lamb shoulder,兩樣都係跟pita bread,本身見falafel係for vegetarian都冇咩期望但又出奇地比羊肉好食,夠哂香料味同蕃薯都好夾,而且兩件都好爆餡好滿足🤤 加左$170要埋兩個dip同佢地自家製既flat bread,煙韌得黎小麥味好香,紅菜頭果款dip味道清清地,而smoky hummus真係有驚喜,都算係全餐最出色之一.就算chef's menu都係三百零蚊,soho區黎講真係唔錯既選擇,食完野仲可以坐係出面飲返幾杯~

I miss a good shish, partly because my brain associates it as a comfort food, whether as a late night snack or after a boozy episode in the earlier years, but mostly still because spiced meat is delicious in itself. Despite having spent some time in parts of the Middle East, given how culturally diverse the region is I still don’t know what makes a middle eastern dish truly authentic, but hummus, flatbread, labneh and savory marinated/spiced meat are all high on my list of yummy foods. It’s nice that they are available at all in Hong Kong, with a dedicated team presenting the cuisine in such a way that is appealing to many locals. But even nicer is the fact that I really liked the relaxing yet positive vibes at Bedu, and everyone who served us were so genuinely friendly and helpful. While the food was more than good enough, it wasn’t so spectacular as to take our breath away, but I think it really is the combination of ambience and hospitality, plus highly affordable prices, that make Bedu a great hangout that I would likely return to. I imagine it would be a great place for some drinking in the evening.

Absolutely delicious. Can’t help but finish it all. (I requested for the olive oil to be separated as I prefer less greasy and a fluffier, drier consistency.)

Excellent with grilled spices and a little pocket. Served hot.

A deeply satisfying satisfying and well-marinated skewer indeed with tangy notes. The pickled chilli was a welcome accompaniment.

Rack of Lamb with red pepper labneh, $210
Flavors of the lamb weren’t as deep as I imagined so this was a little bit of a disappointment (given how good lamb typically tastes at middle eastern joints). But it was tender and not too fatty, and the fruity pairing was a delight for the tastebuds.

呢個真係超級好食!!!!!好豐富既口感好多層次既甜品!!!! Cream入面有果仁開心果碎,仲有啲一粒粒既米布丁好有咬口,米布丁似瘦板西米既口感!食一啖再加入焦糖片+雪糕 好幸福既感覺一啲都唔漏好fresh❤️❤️我同店員講呢個係super tasty😂😂佢話chef希望健康啲所以加入開心果!!男朋友平時從不好甜品都話好食!!!真係要mark低佢!!!一定要試!!

Because of the dining restrictions, restaurants have been offering great deals for people to dine in from 2-6pm. Bedu was offering a free flow deal for people who get the Chef's Tasting Menu. Although still not cheap at $390 per person, the quality of food and drinks were definitely worth it! The drinks offered were red/white wine, prosecco and beer. I was glad that the house wines were actually really good -- you bet I drank my moneys worth 😏Smoky Hummus We had dips and bread to start the meal

We had dips and bread to start the meal off, one of the dips was this hummus which was really yummy. It was smooth and creamy, definitely a must order when coming here. 🥰

This was probably the highlight of the starters! The bread was freshly made and loved that it was charred, it had a nice pocket in the middle too. It went perfectly with all the dips!

I LOVED this! I'm a huge fan of feta on its own, but baked with honey brings it to a whole other level. The feta was creamy and goes really well with the warm sticky honey. It was delicious with the bread too💯

Then came the mains -- I always appreciate it when vegetables get highlighted as the star of a dish. I liked that these were broccoli steaks (not cut into little bits like broccoli is normally served!) that were grilled. To accompany was crispy kale and a thick creamy herb sauce. Everything was super delicious, definitely a 11/10 dish!

These smelled amazing when they came to the table, they were pretty tasty too! The prawns were cooked perfectly and had a subtle garlic taste to it. My bf pretty much ate the whole thing!

Not entirely sure why this was called a 'pudding', it was more of a cross between a warm cake but was also as dense as pudding. Either way, I wasn't a huge fan of the texture (but maybe that's just me with preconceptions of what it  was supposed to be!). I didn't think the mascarpone cream went too well with it either, was also pretty heavy for dessert. 

Overall, I had a really lovely meal at Bedu (and that's not just because it was free flow!). The food was as good as I had hoped and definitely met my expectations. My favourites are the hummus, baked feta and charred broccoli, they're all must-try dishes here. Although the food is a little pricey, it's definitely a great place for special occasions or to have dinner with friends. With the free-flow deal, it was definitely worth every penny, can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu next time! 

Note: the chefs original tasting menu included the lamb dish, but as we don't eat lamb, they swapped it for the prawn dish. A+ for accommodating dietary requirements!
