I have been to this place a few times only be able to buy a takeout order successfully ONCE! The food is ok, nothing to be crazy about. The shop is small and make sure you wear tacky clothes when you are going there, you will need to wash all your clothes from top to bottom afterwards due to the smell.First visit, I called at 10pm, they said they are closed only to find out that they actually should be closing at 10.30pm.Second visit, the only visit which I was able to buy anything. First visit, I called at 10pm, they said they are closed only to find out that they actually should be closing at 10.30pm.

Second visit, the only visit which I was able to buy anything. Waited for 30 mins outside in the heat. Nothing much to be raving about.

Third visit, I went there at 9:25pm, restaurant was half empty but I got kicked out cos they've last ordered already!!!
They said all food had been sold out!!!! Har???!?!?!?!?

Today, we tried to order take away at 1.40pm, called them and they said we have to come pickup, fine, we will. Then she said they do not do takeaway right now cos they are too busy!!!!!!!!!


I don't think they really want any business. Let's hold on for a while until they face some bad times before they will learn how to serve their customers!!!!

By the way, I have to rate 抵食? How can I rate it if I can't even get any food from that bloody shop?!?!?!?!

今天去了吃青藏牛肉麵,等位等了差不多成個鐘,天又下著毛毛雨,排隊實在太慢了。終於輪到我們了,和老公二人一人叫了碗麵,我的是牛肉手拉麵,老公的是羊肉刀削麵。另外再叫了一個葱油餅、一碟串燒拼盆、二件羊排。麵不錯,尤其是手拉麵,的確和普通的麵不同,有嚼頭,不會爛,湯底也濃,加上香料的搭配,幾好食。美中不足的是牛肉太老,唔通真的是吃到了青藏高原的牦牛肉了﹗最讓我們有驚喜的是那2件小小的羊排,質感非常好,有羊肉的汁香,一點也不會嚡,真是齒頰留香﹗雖然一件小小的羊排要20元,但它又嫩又香又不油膩真是值得﹗如果真要說缺點,那就是SIZE大點就更完美了﹗美吷的一餐,我想我們會在不久再來一次的﹗

星期日去試食, 得以下評論星期日下午無乜野做,見教會附近新開了間青藏牛肉麵,而且自己亦好鍾意食湯麵,便走入去試一趟,果然沒叫我失望!選擇不算多味道不錯最緊要我本身對味精有皮膚敏感,但食完之後一D都無唔舒服,一定會再去啦!但去開茶餐廳的人就未必啱,因為真係要等先有得食!雖然全場爆滿,但係食物都唔馬虎推薦食品: 牛肉湯底雞絲湯麵 – 湯底足料無味精,雞絲好滑燒茄子 - 熱烘烘,入口即融羊肉捲 – 羊肉唔SO,味度配撘很好

味道不錯
最緊要我本身對味精有皮膚敏感,但食完之後一D都無唔舒服,一定會再去啦!
但去開茶餐廳的人就未必啱,因為真係要等先有得食!

雖然全場爆滿,但係食物都唔馬虎

無論一仔講到幾好,都係自己親身去試最實際。為左咁,小弟去左兩次,分兩個時段,一次係晚市第一個鐘,一次係午市第一個鐘。試拉麵條,試刀削麵條,每次叫幾腕,亦試冷盤;一次坐近入口,一次坐正廚房玻璃前。綜合觀察如下:- ”普通”同”加底”既麵條,個服務員會話”加底”咩都多D,實際其實只係多隻POACHED蛋,牛肉都係丁咁多,麵條既份量同普通既一樣咁少,如果刀削仲少得可憐。(計番條數都係,”加底”就係 ”普通”加隻所謂溫泉蛋既價錢!)點解咁肯定,因為親眼見,出兩腕麵,個侍應同個靚仔講有一腕加底喎,咁個靚仔就打隻蛋落去,that's it.- 牛肉無論普通定加底都得好少,第一次去幾好,夠稔,不過第二次去係柴皮。論肉味,唔突出,白灼咁。- 只有刀削麵條值得食,手拉麵條完全唔得,一PAK,完全唔彈,第一次以為係佢煮得太耐,不過第次去都一樣,仲睇住佢拉同煮。相信係用廉價低筋麵既關係。- 麵又少,牛肉又少,份量計係唔抵食。不過湯就唔算少,咁有如何呢?- 好老實,個湯真係完全食唔出任何青藏味,話落好多種香草,不過真係落好少,淡得好可憐,一味得牛味。- 咁一個齋牛肉牛骨濃味清湯有咩好飲?得個牛味,同埋果D蒜油

綜合觀察如下:

- 咁一個齋牛肉牛骨濃味清湯有咩好飲?得個牛味,同埋果D蒜油(佢地撈起煮既麵之後,未放湯前,必澇呢樣野),單調呆板至極。諗落幾諷刺,屋企人煲老火湯就嫌老土,出去飲齋牛肉牛骨湯就好感激?!咩世界?!

- 個湯第一次去仲落唔夠鹽,好淡,第二次就OK。

- 由麵條到肉既份量之少,到下湯香料既貧乏,到用低質麵來拉麵條,可見老板真係相當孤寒。呢樣野,從佢預備午市晚市材料既手緊程度,更見一斑,小弟兩次都係第一個鐘去,已經咩都話無,千萬唔好以為係太好生意,佢地得十八個位,午市去果日坐滿,外面等既得三個。只係老板材料準備得真係好少,一個鐘已經無刀削麵,製造出一個假象。

- 做玻璃廚房其實有辣有唔辣,唔係個個好似日本菜師傅咁煮食兼表演。

- 佢地無請專人洗腕,得個侍應洗;檯櫃載筷子,所見油立立。

- 冷盆試左青瓜同牛肉,非常麻麻,唔香,一味酸。見佢地既衛生程度,早知米搞。

- 話牛肉包好落湯煲,保持肉味,親眼見佢地撈舊肉上來切,原來係用保鮮膠包住舊肉,好得人驚。

總結,唔抵食,唔特別,試過就算。

With the weather getting hotter and hotter by the day, I feel a strong urge to have something to cool down my palate and body. Just happened to be browsing through a magazine one day and noted a small section on this new eatery; what actually caught my eye was the various forms of cold noodles (涼麵), which I thought would be very nice to have in this sort of weather. Since the place is situated at North Point, and not too far away from where I work, I decided to give this place a try for lunch. S

With the weather getting hotter and hotter by the day, I feel a strong urge to have something to cool down my palate and body. Just happened to be browsing through a magazine one day and noted a small section on this new eatery; what actually caught my eye was the various forms of cold noodles (涼麵), which I thought would be very nice to have in this sort of weather. Since the place is situated at North Point, and not too far away from where I work, I decided to give this place a try for lunch. Situation in a rather "hidden" location in a small alley, this place was not exacting easy to find for someone not living nearby, and worst of all the information on the map was a bit misleading. The best way would be to get out from one of the 'B' exits from the North Point MTR, then turn left to enter 書局街, and keep walking until you reach the end of the road; there you would find a small alley leading off the main road to 錦屏街, where the shop is located. The shop is pretty small (at most 20 seats) so a bit of waiting would be almost inevitable; fortunately for me, I did not have to wait too long on that day. The wait staff (2 of them) appeared to be relatively young and inexperienced, but at least they were conscientious and helpful and tried their best with the work. Seating was reasonably comfortable, place was decent and still relatively tidy and clean, and the view into the kitchen provided extra insight into how the food was prepared (including how the peel or knife-cut noodles 刀削麵 were freshly prepared by the chef
) . Choices were listed out on the order form - unfortunately for me, the cold noodles are only served during dinner
For noodles, one could choose between ramen 手拉麵 or knife-cut noodles 刀削麵, and between regular or large portions; for ingredients, mainly beef, mutton, egg, vegetables etc. Ox-bone soup 牛骨湯底 was used for all the noodles. There were also other side dishes that one could order, including things like spa egg 温泉蛋 and various forms of skewers, marinated with either salt (himalayan salt used) or cumin. At the end, I decided to go for the beef with regular portion knife-cut noodles 青藏牛肉刀削麵, cucumber salad 涼伴青瓜, the grilled lamb rack with cumin 孜然羊架, and the mushroom skewer 汁燒野菌.

After a wait of 15 mins, the noodles and the salad arrived first. The soup got a nice brownish colour and was semi-transparent, with smell and taste characteristic of ox bone, which was quite nice; for not only was it not excessively salty, there also did not appear to be a lot of MSG inside. The noodles were rather thick-cut, and portion was not small even for a "regular" order; the noodles were also cooked just right, being quite chewy and tangy in texture. The beef used was not beef slices but rather beef briskets, and they were full of beef flavour, being slow cooked to yield a tender texture. Overall speaking, the beef noodle was nice and exceeded my expectation; I certainly wouldn't mind if they could make the soup base even richer and full-bodied in flavour, for that would definitely make the whole thing even more enjoyable. The cumcumber salad was also a delight, for they were served chilled, marinated with vinegar and just a dash of chilli oil and sprinked with sesame, and were smashed rather than chopped up which helped the sauce to penetrate into the substance of the melon; for those who wanted to spice things up like myself, extra chilli oil and chopped garlic were provided as condiments and I simply added loads of them onto the dish
A very refreshing dish indeed and quite a good choice for the summer seasons.

The grilled items arrived after another 5 mins of wait. The mushroom skewer was nicely done, with the mushrooms lightly marinated with a sweet sauce and then grilled; best of all, the mushrooms were carefully broiled to retain their juicy nature, which was not often the case with this item according to my experience elsewhere. The lamb rack with cumin was even more impressive, with a strong smell and taste of cumin (it was literally covered with it), while the mutton remained tender and juicy
. My only comment, if I were to be particularly picky on this one, would be that it was perhaps a bit overseasoned, and the salt and cumin probably masked the flavour of the mutton a bit more than intended; but it was a nonetheless a great dish, and definitely a cut better than those so-called "lamb skewers" that I had tried locally before. Highly recommended for mutton lovers


At this point I was already completely full. Overall a most enjoyable meal and the price was very reasonable, considering the loads of stuff I had sampled. Would definitely love to come back again to try the cold noodles and the rest of the skewers later. Hope that I could again get a "high" with the stuff here next time round.
NB. Note that the place is closed on Tuesdays whole day.

果日睇報紙介紹北角錦屏街有間 食青藏麵, Lunch time走去試, 點知我由街頭行到街尾再由街尾行返去街頭都唔見有間野叫青藏牛肉麵, 跟住咪打去果間野問啦, 原來唔係大家樂果條錦屏街, 而係要由書局街入果條錦屏街, 入到去時間已經唔係得番好多,即刻叫個lunch set食, 蔥油餅+湯麵+飲野$36. 蔥油餅好脆, 食落唔油. 湯麵個湯好香濃但又唔杰果隻, 連埋d麵一齊食好襯, 我真係飲哂碗湯. 我見到個menu仲有串燒, 下次一定要試埋.

I was visiting my friend who lives in North Point today and she took me and our other friends to a new noodles place in North Point for dinner, 青藏牛肉麵. It’s a tiny restaurant where’s located on a small ally. I never tried any food in 青藏 style before. Surprising, the food was very tasty and interesting. Without reading their restaurant name, I thought they were serving Japanese style noodles and skewers, coz their interior designs is very modern and doesn’t look like a Chinese style noodle place.

I was visiting my friend who lives in North Point today and she took me and our other friends to a new noodles place in North Point for dinner, 青藏牛肉麵. It’s a tiny restaurant where’s located on a small ally. I never tried any food in 青藏 style before. Surprising, the food was very tasty and interesting.

Without reading their restaurant name, I thought they were serving Japanese style noodles and skewers, coz their interior designs is very modern and doesn’t look like a Chinese style noodle place. After tasting their noodles and we’re amazed, they tasted very different but delicious. We tried many different dishes like their signature sliced noodles with beef and chicken, spring eggs (won chuen eggs), grilled eggplants, lamb chops, skewers of chicken wings/ chicken livers, bake/ pan fried onion cakes, vegetarian chilled noodles and chicken nuggets. I’m highly recommended the Spring Eggs, Noodles, Onion Cakes and grilled eggplants.

It’s very good deal coz we ordered many food and each of us was paying like only $70 dollars. Will definitely visit again to try out more other beef and lamb dishes with another group of friends due to a few of our friends who had dinner with us tonight who don’t eat beef.

我本身唔係好鍾意食麵,但我個FRIEND話北角開0左間是即造拉麵店咪同佢試吓囉, 佢叫0左碗涼麵,我叫0左碗羊肉麵, 個湯好味,我差唔多飲哂.最鍾意佢地D串燒, 唔似出面個D用野"那"到無哂肉味. 價錢又唔會好似居酒屋咁鬼貴. 仲有種叫孜然既香料第一次食,超正.
