生日飯,男朋友幽默咁話瑞士就未去過,所以去住瑞士小屋先。😂😂服務好好,員工係年輕人,有禮貌,會同我地建議人物份量夠唔夠。我地叫左個沙津同他他,份量有d細。主菜就係魚,都係普通西餐味道。不過不失。最後無叫到朱古力屋仔,因為覺得入邊都係忌廉,會好肥哈哈!不過就另外叫左其他甜品~整得好精緻好靚。 總括嚟講都可以嘅,環境咁靚,慶祝都幾開心。

多謝公司既Dining Voucher,俾我地今晚有機會黎半島酒店試下d正野🤩🤩一入到餐廳,好似去左瑞士既小屋咁,環境幽暗,仲有d放酒既木筒,同時間仲隱約有一陣啖啖既芝士味🧀先黎個頭盤試下先!呢個crab meat pancake真係不得了,薄薄既pancake皮入面包住勁多蟹肉,配以龍蝦煮成既湯汁,味道真係好夾,可惜分量太少到2個主菜啦,黎到呢度點可以唔叫個芝士火鍋試下呢,我地就叫左個有煙肉既,芝士味唔會太重,亦有啖啖既酒香,有埋麵包、通粉同薯仔做配菜👍🏻另一個main就係呢度既signature!!!! 另一個main就係呢度既signature!!!! Rack of lamb🐏呢塊羊扒絕對係食過無數次lamb入面最好食既!🤤🤤🤤質感嫩滑,而且1d羶味都無!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻真係好好食!

踏入暑假,好多食肆都會提供不同優恵,咁啱打開某銀行網頁就見到呢間有做優恵,梗係吾會錯過,便打去訂枱,準時到達,一坐低無耐,西餐例牌先來麵包,但啲麵包無乜特色,牛油無香味;今次來目的都係試下個芝士火煱,配通粉+薯仔,這裡有兩款芝士火煱,侍應好有耐心講解兩款有甚麽吾同,一款有煙肉另一款無,兩款火煱都+左酒,芝士味吾太濃;這個慢煮三文魚,未食過咁滑身,配菜好味;食完已飽了,甜品飲品都無叫,之後侍應送上兩件小小甜點,金泊藍莓蛋糕仔,酒心朱古力。

service 依然好好,就算 staff 係年青人,但做到承先啟後,薪火相傳,keep 到半島水準。環境當然亦唔錯。味道呢....哈哈,有時吃飯除了食物味道,環境與服務亦很重要。我認為味道合格啦。

Our first visit to Chesa was two years ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I still remembered that we had a really memorable experience with nice food of big portion, exotic interior decoration, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Shortly after we had placed our orders, we were served this bread basket. There was no introduction of the bread, unlike those Michelin restaurants out there. The bread was warm and was better than last time which was cold as I recalled. The bread was crispy outside and soft inside and tasted pretty good with the butter. We did ask for more bread while we were waiting for our food.

While the beef carpaccio wasn't particularly outstanding eaten on its own, it was delicious eating with the pickled white asparagus and slightly salty & crispy air-dried beef chips as well as other sides. However, it was still far far from the superb beef carpaccio at Amigo.

This chilled gazpacho essence surprised us as it was exceptionally refreshing and went perfectly well with the crab meat rissoles. Although we didn't eat the crab meat rissoles right away, they were still hot and went perfectly well with the chilled gazpacho essence. The gazpacho essence was a bit sour which gave a right balance to the deep-fried crab meat. The only complaint was that we couldn't really taste crab meat in the rissoles.

Sliced chicken with mushrooms in light cream sauce

This sliced chicken was one of their classics. We were glad that we tried it, as the chicken was smooth and the sauce tasted pretty good with the mushrooms. The potato cake on the side was a bit salty yet delicious. 

Pan-fried veal escalopes with creamy savoy cabbage and onion rings, natural gravy

Comparatively, this pan-fried veal escalopes was a bit disappointing. Although it was still tender, it seemed to be lacking beef flavour and was a bit too dry (maybe because it was not fatty enough). The onion rings were tasty though.

It took quite a while before our desserts arrived, so we ordered our drinks first. We remembered that the iced chocolate was so soo good last time that we couldn't help not ordering this time. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. There was no chocolate chips/cream served on the side and the ice cubes were so huge taking up the majority of the glass. The iced chocolates were a bit too bitter and tasted so much worse than 2 years ago. 


Vanilla creme brulee with green apple sorbet and crunchy short bread

This dessert was also one of their classics. The vanilla creme brulee itself was ok. But I think it didn't go so well with green apple sorbet. The crunchy short bread was so tiny too.

However, this dessert was so soo good! Although I was never a fan of coffee, I really liked how there was coffee ice-cream perfectly wrapped in crispy chocolates with caramelised mixed nuts on top. I really loved the different textures offered by this dessert. The presentation was also pretty appealing to the eyes.

Finally, here you go petits fours to end the meal. The ginger bread was quite fresh and slightly crispy. There was nothing special about the chocolate though.

Overall, Chesa has always been one of my favourite restaurants as price was comparatively affordable at a hotel with food of nice quality and portion. Service was also very good as the staff was pretty friendly and gave you a warm dining experience. Interior decoration was also very exotic. Definitely a place to go back from time to time.

We were here for my sister’s bday dinner. We expect a historic restaurant situated in The Peninsula would have professional service, but it turns out to be the opposite...waiter A showed he knows nothing at all about the wine on the wine list and said at one point that he had to ‘check’ when we asked how that wine is like...fine.. waiter B poured wine all over the table each time he did that ( we were like... luckily it’s white wine we ordered). The weirdest incident - My sister was posting for picture and held up the glass and this waiter came at her back without her knowing and poured wine into her glass while the glass was in the air!!! My other sister sitting in the opposite quickly warned her ‘oh be careful, he is pouring wine into your glass...’ unbelievable we thought! Besides these very odd service they offered at the table, the way they talked makes you just feel like they are from the neighbourhood Chinese restaurant...好似茶樓飲茶果D阿叔講嘢態度咁,非常神奇。they didn’t show bad attitude but definitely not professional waiter... we were joking any one of us would do much better even with no experience as a waiter! 我地只覺得非常奇怪, especially when we were expecting a five star service.... not reasonable at all...

The best part of the set would be the dessert. I chose the chocolate Swiss roll with dark chocolate sorbet out of the five options. Invited by my friends to try the Swiss restaurant inside The Peninsula Hong Kong, we had the chance to try the elegant dishes of Chesa.The cold appetisers and hot mains are well-presented and rightly seasoned. Especially love the signature Raclette and cheese fondue, I couldn’t get enough for the baguette that dip into the rich melting cheese!

30-11-2017與相識1x年的老朋友慶祝生日,多年來已經食過太多不同的餐廳,突然想起原來已經8年沒有到過Chesa來,所以一於就訂檯來回味一下。由於太耐無嚟啦,所以決定都係詢問一下非商helpful的 Manager 意見,由佢推介一下,最後 order 左一個 Chesa Salad, 一個Fonde, 同埋一個 Main course (仲有一個早已預訂嘅瑞士小屋甜品),慶生飯又點少得一枝佳釀來飲下呢~😊整體來講,在 Chesa 食飯,服務同氣氛非常之令人滿意,而且亦好自在咁同老朋友在嬉笑暢談當年事~Very nice !

話試過酒店入面其他既都好滿意,
所以今次就試下依間😎


Chesa 原來係瑞士方言家既意思,
所以佢裝修都好「舊」好簡約,
唔係殘舊既舊,
係用好多木造出傳統既舊,
入到去個人都warm晒❤️

餐廳主打瑞士菜,
不過lunch我就㨂左salmon carpaccio with bell pepper vinaigrette & arugula salad.三文魚薄片配油醋汁感覺好fresh. 自己好鐘意咁食,不過有人就嫌汁太出味,反而蓋過三文魚風頭。

朋友就㨂左cream of sweet corn with scallops and bacon. 就咁個名平平無奇咁,但待應介紹時特別同我地講好好飲。於是我就拎左啖黎飲,真係得喎⋯⋯佢「杰度」剛剛好,好怕西湯杰到好似飲獻汁咁...而且清甜既粟米湯加左風乾火腿既鹹味,令成個湯味道昇華左👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

主菜同朋友不約而同地叫左chefs recommendation - rack of lamb. 自己㨂左七成熟,佢主要焗既,口感同味道都不錯,但係如果兩邊煎一煎可能會更香口。(純粹以一般人角度諗,其實自己唔太熟煮餸😝)


反而主菜旁既Gratinated potato 伴菜好吸引到我地😎個薯仔係切細,加左牛油/芝士去焗,有少少似食緊酥皮咁,香口,小小地剛剛好又無肥膩感。食完個main大概7成飽,初初重驚會餓添...

然後就到dessert time
朋友要左朱古力雪糕、焦糖堅果、咖啡撻。
(coffee tart with caramelised pecan and dark chocolate ice cream)
Um...我最鐘意係焦糖果仁,portion少少地又好味😋dark chocolate 雪糕試左一啖,dark chocolate 關係👍🏼
個tart就幾甜架,後生女應該鐘意,但我就一般而已😝

我就叫左燒菠蘿grilled pineapple with coconut palm sugar and pabana sorbet
,鐘意食酸既一定大滿足!

燒菠蘿本身已經好味,配返個酸死人既熱情果雪芭勁酸,但佢又抵死地配個少少甜既椰子乾俾你。好味❤️

不得不提佢個餐飲,朋友叫左凍朱古力,夠味之類重有唂咕粉(總之就有碎粉)係面,下次去我都一定會叫依個羅😉

最後黎既Pettit four 有朱古力同薑餅,可能已經食飽肚凸凸覺得2樣都過甜😅


有機會既話想黎試下瑞士火鍋😊

在瑞樵閣午餐,人稱【小屋】,喜歡半島的香草包很香,牛油又不油膩;各人點了三文魚前菜,我則點了粟米忌廉湯;我是一向不飲粟米忌廉湯的,既然到此地方,一嚐此間製法有何不可!果然非同凡响!濃郁的粟米味加上忌廉,有一些火腿在內,味道截然不同,而且碗 (杯) 不細,足以我慢慢享用。試了對座的三文魚,雖然薄得透明,但味道也很濃郁,果然不應厚切,上面蔬菜新鮮得似剛採摘似的!鄰座說牛仔脷很滑。我選了羊架,嫩滑新鮮,多汁;初看以為份量太少,吃完整碟後發覺已經飽了。再上一個忘記是什麼雪笆,雪笆我也是吃了半島的之後才喜愛上,上面的脆片,似甜又鹹,有質感,不知道是什麼!不過在旁的伴碟郤是很認真的,每一匙的味道都很豐富,再來送上了薑餅和流心朱古力,高質素甜品!!!

decoration 始终如一,说得动听就是怀旧。食物水平OK但不突出,但基于价钱,便立即显得性价比不行。新来的服务员跟步长青黄不接,但老的步长服务非常非常好! 值得表扬!完全体现了老香港的服务水平。

蟹肉班戟 - 我最鍾意既菜式之一,薄薄既班戟皮,配上鮮甜既蟹肉,平時我好少食海鮮,因為好怕海鮮既腥味,但呢道菜我一啲腥味都食唔到,而個醬汁就能夠更加帶起蟹肉既鮮甜,一個字: 正!

羊架 - 羊架我嗌咗七成熟,香脆既外皮同嫰滑多汁既羊肉,係我食過最好食既羊架。最令我驚喜既係伴碟既薯仔,廚師都有精心調味過。一般餐廳都唔會太著重side dish既味道,但Chesa連呢啲detail位都顧及到,值得俾個

牛仔肉 - 一般去食西餐,最期待係個牛肉。但呢個牛肉令我有少少失望
唔知係咪烹調時間太耐,牛肉食落有啲“鞋”,感覺上連隔離既薯餅都好食過佢


五道菜式共約$1800,因為我地全部都散叫,想抵啲可以嗌dinner set。

呢晚簡直座無虛席,侍應們都好忙,有時要舉幾次手先過嚟,不過佢地都好有禮貌


其實呢餐整體嚟講我都滿意嘅(細聲:難得老公肯帶我嚟咁高級既餐廳食飯……)
,不過有啲菜式可能係我個人口味問題,但某啲菜式就真係有改進空間


我地仲討論下次要帶埋其他屋企人嚟試呢度既菜式添~
